    This steakhouse was great!!- The porterhouse was a standout: Reasonably priced and cooked to perfection. It arrived tender, juicy, and well seasoned.- The bread basket was a nice surprise. Perfectly toasted on the outside with a soft, buttery inside.- Creamed spinach: As expected, it was creamy and velvety. The addition of crispy bacon bits elevated it- Thick cut bacon: a must for bacon and meat lovers. Its a fatty slice so it really juicy- The star of the show: Lobster Mac and Cheese: It was generously packed with lobster and the whole dish bursted with rich, buttery lobster flavor.

    This place owes me nothing! Wow! A perfect 10. A wonderful restaurant with absolutely perfect service and the food is beyond. Worth every penny and we cannot wait to get back and enjoy again.Went to dinner with friends to celebrate and we ordered it all, starting with the special cocktail- The VIP. Yummy. Tuna tartar was my hubs favorite. Wedge salad with excellent blue cheese is always my favorite. Filet mignon was superb, but the surprise standout was the château mashed potatoes- unbelievable. The warm butter cake is not to be missed. And The lemon cake is also a nice surprise and is large enough to feed 4!

    I dont come here as often as Id like but went tonight with my daughter to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday. Menu had new items such as sushi and octopus. Both were delicious. The dry aged steak I had was to die for. So much flavor and so tender. Our waiter, Gerard (G) was fantastic. He was so attentive without being pushy and his recommendations were on point. I will ask for him whenever I visit. Thats how much I loved his service.Took food home and had the new hibiscus cheesecake to share. Last but not least was a take home order of their lemon cake because its always been one of my favs.Yes, its pricey but worth it. Treat yourself, you wont be disappointed.

    Wow what a great location! The food, staff, and overall experience is the best of the best! This is must see, must eat, must drink location in NYC!!!! Go check them out asap. Def make a reservation because it’s always a packed house!

    Wow, everything was sooo delicious.Started with a VIP drink, it was very refreshing, and light, but strong! Josh’s recommendation which I really appreciated. Super attentive and helpful waiter by the way!Then we got the oysters which were very fresh. I’d like to preface this by saying I don’t like steak, I came here with my family for a holiday dinner. We ordered the dry aged ribeye and omg it was so tender and buttery- amazing, even for me! I usually hateeee beef.For sides we got the caesar salad which was ordinary, asparagus 10/10, and the mashed potatoes which were good, but my favorite was the creamed spinach and roasted mushrooms.But for the piece of resistance (however that’s spelled) the waiter sent over the butter cake, and omggg it was divine! soooo buttery, and the outside was almost toffee like? It’s the best dessert I’ve had in a while.Even the complimentary bread is amazing. It’s soft, garlicky, and buttery.(only pic i took unfortunately is attached. wish i got more, but i was too busy enjoying the amazing food)

    Very nice and well priced food for lunchtime. Tried the burger which was decent but the standout was the bread served as starter, a sort of potatoe or brioche type roll with butter and salt. Really great.

    We visited Del Frisco’s for my husbands birthday as we wanted a nice meal to celebrate the day in style. We were definitely no disappointed and as soon as we arrived and seated to our table we were treated so special with very attentive service from our waiter Michael. We both could not decide to choose from the menu and Michael explained in great detail what was available and about the quality of the steaks. Me and my husband both chose the ribeye with mash and asparagus and when it arrived it looked amazing, but when we tasted our steak it was even better and it melted in your mouth with so much lovely flavours we both said to each other that it was the best steak we have ever had.We found this restaurant so relaxing with no rush from the staff to get us out and I would say that if you get the opportunity to try this place please do as you definitely will not be disappointed and we would highly recommend and if we visit New York again we most definitely will be visiting again.Nothing was too much trouble with the staff at this Resturant and it was such a wonderful experience.Thank you also for the special touch with the cake for Richards birthday it was so kind of you and it was also delicious.

    (1 Dec 2024) We arrived before our 7pm reservation time but didnt get seated until after 7:30. The table we were seated at was very wobbly, the initial waitress said we were to be moved to a different table. Which we were and it was great.Ordered the seafood tower, which is always amazing at double eagle. But didnt have a vinaigrette for the oysters. The manager (name I didnt catch) made one on his own, which was absolutely perfect. What he made should be on the menu!!!Our Server Gabriel and the Manager took excellent care of us throughout the rest of the night . My wife and I were disappointed at the start of the evening BUT the attention the server and manager showed us more than made up for it. Gabriel was fun and easy to chat with. Hes the type of person you always want as your waiter. Ask for him, its worth it.Gabriel and the Manger were top notch. Thank you both for making it a night we will always remember, in a very good way. I hope this note reaches Gabriel and the Manger on duty that night.

    Alejandro was the absolute best!! We came here for my 30th birthday and the food was amazing. The best steak I have ever had. The sides are shareable so it was a lot of food. The ambiance was a 10/10! My mother is also vegan and they had options for her. She had a cauliflower steak and said it was great!

    We just loved the place !!The food, ambience, interior, staffs, hospitality -- everything was perfect. We were looking for a nice place to have steak for weekend dinner and Del Friscos reviews were found to be great to reserve a table. We were happy about the decision to stop by this beautiful place. The moment you enter, you will be made feel special. Foods were amazing! The entrée bread was freshly baked, the crabmeat was delicious, the prime ribeye was perfect done and so was the broccolini; lastly the tiramisu just melted in our mouth. Drinks were served wonderfully. Our server was extremely cordial and suggested good items. The staff in the toilet was ready to hand you towel as soon as you were done. Above everything the GM stopped by our table to know about experience, food quality, serving time etc which made us understood that they take care of customers well and opinions matter to them. Overall excellent dine-in experience. The place is very popular and almost full over the weekend so better to reserve a table beforehand.

    Solid 4 stars in everything but given the price there are other better options.. Food can be improved, for example the bread is poor quality, no option for brown bread either. Also the menu has no creative options / average options.. The service is fine but I wasnt happy with sommelier wine recommendation, after following her advice I conclude she has little idea.. Finally, the atmosphere gives the impression of an industrial size eatery rather than cozy / high class restaurant..

    Our favorite place for dinner and good wine. Atmosphere is friendly and staff are very welcoming. Food is absolutely perfect every time. The Caesar salad, salmon steak, filet were perfect. Wines are some of the best.

    I came here with a couple of co workers, we sat at the bar initially we wanted a table but had to wait a long time for it. Best decision made was to stay at the bar, our bartender Dan made our night incredible, delicious drink, every recommendation he made was outstanding, his services was 100/10, like please give this guy a raise. I’ll be coming back soon because lucky me, I work really close.

    Came for a business lunch at $39 each. Tbh, it’s a good deal, you get an entree and a starter. I got the steak medallions but if you like steak, it probably won’t hit like that.     The Surf and Turf trio was spectacular. Ask your waiter to substitute the shrimp for an extra scallop- you won’t regret it. The lobster mac-n-cheese and mashed potatoes were also the best I’ve ever had. The meal was pricey but worth every penny. Highly recommend, will come again. Danny was charming and attentive, a real class act.

    Great service and delicious food. I had a reservation for 2 people and only waited less than 10 min to be seated on a busy night. If you are looking for a private dinner then this might not be a good fit since most tables are out in the open and you’ll have people and wait staff walking by a lot. It wasn’t a bother to us but I know others might want a different dinning experience.We got the Tomahawk Steak for two, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and lobster Mac n cheese & would recommend all of them. Waitress was attentive and overall had a great experience. We can’t wait to go again! ☺️☺️

    Came here for a business lunch and was surprised the offerings for lunch had limited interaction with the specialty dishes they were known for. Beef medallions are okay, and the Del Salad is interesting but perhaps it’s worth coming only if you want the full steakhouse dinner experience. Service is very friendly and pleasant though!

    5 star dining experience here, a solid steakhouse nationally and the NYC location meets expectations. Love eating lunch here especially with high ceilings with windows on a sunny day, it negates the typical dark room steakhouse vibe. Service excellent along with the food. Love the bread rolls to start, they are dangerous. Restaurant week menu is great with plenty of options, we enjoyed the meatballs, filet and got the (recommended) chocolate mousse and butter cake to go. YUM. There is also a lunch menu option, which I appreciate. The house Cabernet is superb. A special treat, enjoy!

    There may be discussions which is the best steak house in New York, for me this discussion is clear: it is Del Friscos. The location, the staff, the ambiance and most important: the meat. Once more a perfectly friendly and knowledgeable server and perfect food. I agree there are other steak houses, but this was once more just perfect.

    Best steak house Ive ever eaten at. The service is fantastic. The food here is also top notch. Also, dont hesitate to ask the server/bartender for the sommeliers recommendation.     The check in experience was quick and painless, but it was busy when we went, so the waiting area got really crowded. We told our server that we were trying to make a show, and he was extremely accommodating. He was quick to take our order and was attentive to serving us efficiently without feeling rushed. The food itself was pretty good. The highlight was the dessert (butter cake and strawberry cheesecake) though we couldnt finish ours from being so full from our meal. We had the wagyu meatballs, the bacon, the A5 Wagyu steak with creamed spinach and creamed corn. Everything was A/A+ except the bacon which I would give a B.

    This is a must for date-night, a night on the town, or a celebratory occasion. My boyfriend and I went for my 28th birthday and it was PERFECT.Service was lovely. We had reservations and was seated within 5min. The location is great, we could walk from our hotel, it’s like 3-5min from Time Square.The food was so flavorful and everything was cook perfectly, and the drinks were strong — I have no complaints. I ordered the filet medallions, a drink, and they bring complimentary bread (which has this creamy butter/honey glaze). Together our ticket was like $117 (2 entrees & 2 drinks).The only thing that somewhat threw me off was the dress code. Online it gives the impression people should be dressed up (and we were), but other people were wear jerseys, sneakers, etc.I will definitely be back though. The food and environment are top notch.

    I came today for the first time. I loved it. the steak was amazing with flavor and tasty. the macaroni with lobster and cheese good with flavor it was perfect for me. I couldnt even finish my plate I got so full. are server was salvo he was a amazing server. yes I say amazing because he vibed with us. made us feel very welcome. he even interacted with my husband and my husband hardly even talks he is very shy and they even talked about a game. he explained the menu very well. when ever we needed him he was a step away. always came to check up on us and if we needed anything else. beautiful restaurant and very classy. I will come back here next time and I will definitely ask for salvo.

    Looking for a warm outdoor dining experience well Del Friscos provides you with just that. A heated tent and music. The staff was very accommodating and nice. Although the drinks and food were great it is pricey for the size of the portions. We ordered a seafood tower for 2 which could have been just for 1, it was on the smaller size of the spectrum of most seafood platters. Overall a good experience especially if you want to stay warm.

    The BEST dining experience I’ve ever had. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The staff could not have been more friendly. My fiancée and I came here to celebrate our proposal and we could not have made a better decision. Chris, our waiter, was the definition of the perfect waiter. He was knowledgeable about every dish and very friendly, was there anytime we needed him, ASK FOR CHRIS.We decided to go with the ‘Double Eagle Table Testing’. 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 sides, and 2 desserts.(Best way to go for a party of two) We are not big seafood fans so we didn’t order any of those dishes but I’m sure they’re delicious as well.The appetizers were ‘Wagyu Meatballs’ and ‘The Tomato and Burrata Salad’. Fantastic.We both decided to go with steak, ‘The Prime NY Strip’ and Filet Mignon. We liked the Filet Mignon more.Chris gave us a heads up that they cook the steaks a little bit more rare here than other steakhouses. So instead of a medium rare, we ordered medium and that was a good choice.For sides, the ‘Château Mashed Potatoes are a must and the creamed spinach was delicious as well.Dessert we ordered the 6 Layer Lemon Cake(sometimes is not available that’s why it might not be on the menu.) and the ‘Butter Cake” that came with ice cream and whipped cream on top with a caramel sauce surrounding it.Overall, we couldn’t not have asked for a better dinner. We will be going to Del Frisco’s any chance we can get and if we come to this location, we will DEFINITELY be asking for Chris Barber as our waiter. Everybody must dine here.

    Great steak house with views to 6th avenue.As appetizer we tried the Raspberry point oysters they were really good and fresh and the wedge salad with blue cheese crumbles was amazing. We had the tomahawk steak for two as our entree , it was cooked to perfection and it came with two side selections, I recommend the truffle potatoes and the cream corn. Also you should order the béarnaise sauce to pair it with your steak, it adds a wonderful flavor to it.

    I have been there twice in the past 6 months. The first time was in March. That experience led me come back again in September 2024. When I visited the first time, I wanted to have a nice meal and a wine just before I left NY. Bartender Dan was kindly advising me a meal that is not in the menu but was fitting perfect for what I was looking for. He then paired it with one of the best red wines I tasted. This welcoming, attentive and friendly experience led me to visit again in September. Unfortunately I learned that Dan passed away since the last time I saw him. I am very sorry for his absence and I wish his soul peace. His skilled colleagues keep the place in check. I will always visit this place to honour his memory. R. I. P. beautiful soul.

    One of the top 5 steakhouses in NYC I’ve been to.We got the ribeye steak with lobster Mac and cheese on the side. The steak was juicy and tender as expected and I enjoyed large chunks of lobster meat in the Mac and cheese. With high ceilings and large glass windows, this place had an open and vibrant vibe which I also liked. If you’re near Central Park looking for a nice steakhouse, highly recommend giving this place a visit.

    The food here is on par with a Logans or Outback steakhouse. You are paying for the ambiance. That being said its a great place for a business meeting or a date night. Prices are reasonable for Manhattan and the staff was phenomenal. When in a restaurant like this you expect cleanliness but the upstairs bathroom left me less than thrilled. However , my dinning experience was good. Ordered the Ribeye and was not disappointed. It came on a, still sizzling, plate which was fantastic and was advised by the waitress not to touch it. I recommend this restaurant !

    BEST STEAK EVER!! I am one of those people who likes a well done steak, no pink, but I am forever searching for a steakhouse that can prepare it well but still moist and flavorful and this steakhouse delivered!!! In my many many years I have never had a steak that tasted this good and I can’t wait to return! We ordered the blue cheese wedge salad, heirloom tomato and burrata salad, bone in ribeye and bone in filet. Everything was PHENOMENAL!! The bacon was excellent and the blue cheese was perfectly aged. The burrata flowed upon cutting it. The steaks cut like butter and it was effortless to chew. The flavors bursting with every juicy tender bite! The bread pudding was fantastic and served with pecan ice cream and a Mohawk of cream. Brittany was our server and you would have never known she was new to the restaurant, she was amazing!

    A beautiful evening to celebrate my birthday. Our server, Brian, was amazing!! The lobster bisque was so creamy, delicious, and well seasoned.     We went in with a gamelan! We started off with the Colorado lamb rack for an appetizer. Epic! Then we ordered a number of appetizers, runs tartare, the oysters shucked and oysters broiled, thick- cut Nueskes bacon au poivre, and Dels jumbo lump crab cake. All AWESOME! Made to perfection! We then went on to the main course. Whew! Two prime tomahawk steaks brought out in intervals with the creamed spinach, Lobster macaroni and cheese, seasonal asparagus, and chateau mashed potatoes. Plates were left empty! Afterwards, we finished it off with their six layered lemon cake and coffees. What a night! Cant wait till next time!

    Good food. A tad overrated; definitely overpriced. The mashed potatoes are insanely good, but the rest of the food was just okay. I cannot recommend the seared tuna. Portions are large. There is an extensive wine BOOK (not just a list) , but try the pomegranate martini. You wont be sorry.Very solicitous staff. Great service!

    We had reservations but the place was overbooked with a lot of frustrated people on a Saturday night....no worries..hit the upstairs bar and order the amazing signature VIP martini which has 12 day pineapple infused vodka. The place has a great vibe and the staff is wonderful which made the 45 minute wait tolerable. Tuna tar tar and wagu meatballs are melt in your mouth starters and the filet medallions and sea bass were perfectly cooked. Finished up with the butter cake which is more like a thick sugar cookie with butter pecan ice cream on top but equally delish.

    Went there for a birthday dinner. The food was amazing, stated with the complementary Bread & Butter (came out cold wouldve loved it if it wasnt for that) had the crab cake and wagyu meatballs for appetizers. Both were very tasty BUT the sauce they had on the meatballs was cold for some reason so I wasnt too fond of that. For entrees we had the dry aged prime strip and dry aged rib eye (both topped with garlic butter) with lobster mac & mashed potatoes as the sides. I never want a regular steak again after trying dry aged OMG it sliced like butter so flavorful. For dessert we had the butter cake with vanilla ice cream and that was soooo good, never had a butter cake before it was crunchy yet soft and gooey with the perfect amount of sweetness from the caramel sauce it paired well with the ice cream. ONLY thing that I did not like during the visit is that they didnt decorate the table with little birthday confetti like many other steakhouses Ive been to & the downstairs area is extremely loud filled with businessmen, my waiter had to repeat himself to me multiple times because I couldnt hear him thats how LOUD it was.

    Dont eat all that starter bread. We thought this was going to be small portions for a big price, but boy were we wrong. Each side is enough for 2 people. We got the lobster Mac n Cheese and the mashed potatoes and they were both outstanding. We ordered the boneless ribeye and boneless strip loin and let me tell you they were both soooo good. The steaks melted in our mouths and the taste and flavor was amazing. I have to say it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to meat but this place is amazing. The wait staff and Christian our waiter was so attentative and paid great attention to the details. We are from Toronto and will come back to NY for this steak. Be prepared to be blown away.

    We felt very well taken care of here. The service was impeccable, Beth in particular was great.The food was really good. We had the filet mignon and the Valentines Day special, which included three cuts of steak, each with a different topping; gorgonzola, crab and asparagus, and a scallop with jam. The gorgonzola was the best, but thats not to diminish the taste of the other two.This was a great experience and we will absolutely be heading back here.

    Definately a must try when in New York City.The atmosphere is relaxed and charm, the high roof makes the place feel very spacious and quiet, definately an inviting place to spend a nice evening.The food is what you would expect from other Del Frisco’s, high quality ingredients, their raw bar shelfish was great along with their mains, I would recommend the Wagyu Tomahawk.Their service is friendly, fast and helpful.Will be back.

    If you love steak, come here! I was introduced to this steakhouse by my brother and thank goodness he did! I ordered a medium rare steak with mash potatoes and it was delicious.     From the doorman to the waiter...very pleasant experience all around! We were seated upstairs and it was buzzing on this Sunday evening. Our waiter Chris was VERY helpful as busy as he was.     Food was satisfactory over all. Nothing amazing but considering what youre paying, the food should all taste amazing. We had the sides of creamed spinach, lobster Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes with a pecan encrusting on top. The lobster Mac and cheese was just okay. Nothing special. The creamed spinach was good but Ive had better other places. Thought it would be better. The whipped sweet potatoes were the gem and Im not even really fond of sweet potatoes. The pecan encrusting was a fine touch.For the starters, we got the tuna tartare and crab cake. Crab cake was truly crab cake and not the deep fried version you would get at lower prices fares. Crab cake was good but as you can see, its not much. The tuna tartare was pretty good as well. It has avacado on the bottom as well. Im a tuna tartare fan and this fits the bill. Both were about 20-25 bucks each so check the pics and you can kinda see what I mean by bang for your buck here. Tasty but not alot, it truly a appetizer. Lol.For the main, I got a 10oz. Filet mignon with lobster on top and truffles. I got it cooked medium rare. Here the medium rare is closer to rare and not medium which the waitress told me as well. The steak was tasty with he addition. I definitely give it a thumbs up. My date had the salmon (yea, shes that one that comes to a steak house and gets seafood.) the salmon was tasty and had a nice sauce to accompany it. It sat on a bed of potatoes as well. The entrees get an enthusiastic thumbs up.The service was overall good and fit the vibe. Everyone was really accommodating. The service from the waitress took a minute to get to that level though. I think if you come in and the waitress feels like you might be kind of cheap, then her service will lag. We ordered alot of food so she saw we had money to spend so after we began ordering or main course, her chipperness (if thats a word) and overall attitude improved. Kinda sucks but her support was stellar throughout.Nice restaurant where the heavy hitters come to dine no question. Kendrick Lamar was apparently about to come sit in a section next to us but he ended up not coming. Darn!So overall, the one star deduction was from the waitress and the taste of some of the dishes wasnt outstanding. More so the waitress. Hopefully that was just our waitress and an isolated incident and other waiters/waitresses treat you exceptionally from the outset. Otherwise this place can definitely get lost in the high priced dining options which are plentiful in NYC.

    DelFriscos was a part of my Bucket List trip to NY, so I took my grandson there for his 15th birthday. It did not disappoint! We had reservations, so our wait was less than 15 minutes. We were seated close to a beautiful window, which framed the Christmas lights from outside. We were quickly greeted, and before we knew it, our appetizer was sat before us. I highly recommend the lump crab cake - full of delicious sweet crab. Our entree came and my filet was easy as butter to cut with my fork. My grandsons steak was also cooked perfectly as well. We ordered the side dishes of Lobster Macaroni & Cheese - which was so good and more than enough for the both of us. We also had the Truffle Twice Baked which was good, but not as good as the Lobster Macaroni & Cheese. I had mentioned to our server that it was his birthday and she provided us with the best desert! This was such a good experience for us.

    Excellent food and huge portions. I dont think you will go wrong with the food. The only downside is that the restaurant is incredibly crowded. The place was jam packed with tables, but somehow the kitchen is still able to make great food. Service was good. This is a special occasion place. Food is super expensive.     This is my all time favorite steakhouse, hands down. Steak is always cooked to perfection. I usually get the bone-in ribeye. Last week, I got the Tomahawk for 2, medium rare, it was juicy, tender, and was everything I can ask for. It was served on a hot plate so it was cooking a bit more than I would like, nevertheless still impeccable. Lobster Mac and cheese is a must here. Thank me later.

    Del Friscos is just a good place. You will always have really good food, excellent service and great ambiance. Of course you should always get the signature bone in ribeye. Juicy well prepared steak. In fact, dont even bother getting steak other than a qualified steakhouse. There are always so many people there. We were surprised they could accommodate 5 people in such short notice. We also got a Hess Cabernet which is excellent. It is good and of excellent value. Also, with our steak, we got the asparagus, creamed spinach, and mushrooms...all were good. There is nothing else better to say about this place. It is always good.

    Delicious! I highly recommend it, and I dont eat red meat! I had the chicken piccata and Dels salad for lunch. Both excellent. Drinks were good too. See list of dessert drinks attached - I wonder what the $1400 shot is? Easy location to walk to from Rockefeller Center...probably not the easiest drop off via car though. Restaurant is beautiful inside. The only issue I would note is the bathroom situation. As far as I know, there are bathrooms only upstairs and the womens restroom only had 2 stalls.

    All I can say is: BEST.MEAL.EVER!!!! I wanted to do something special for my boyfriend since he got us a nice hotel. I treated us to Del Frisco’s and it was the most amazing meal I’ve ever eaten! First of all, the service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive, knowledgeable on the menu and drinks and gave great recommendations. To start, we had a jumbo lump crab cake, which was PHENOMENAL. My boyfriend had a ribeye and I selected the filet mignon (both were medium rare.) As soon as we cut into our steaks, it was like butter: so tender , juicy with a crisp layer on top and a flavorful, thick, beautiful steak on the inside. I never ate a steak cooked to perfection like this one. Our A La Carte sides were: creamed spinach, lobster Mac & cheese and French fries. DELICIOUSLY prepared! My favorite side was the creamed spinach. It was VERY creamy with aged sharp cheddar, bacon, egg and mushrooms. My boyfriend doesn’t even like spinach and agreed that was his favorite side. The Mac was creamy and tasty and the French fries were really crispy yet soft and great. Lastly, we indulged in a cheesecake with strawberries on top. If I could rate this beautiful restaurant 10 stars, I would. Definitely the BEST fine dining experience I’ve had. Try this place out if you haven’t already.

    I have to be honest, is it good, yes! Is it amazing no! There are definetly better steak houses, all 4 people I went with said the same. The appetizers were very good, shrimp coctail was delicious, crab was delicious, bacon was a bit fat but delicious, oysters could definetly be better. The steak was simply good, not amazing but good. Service could be a bit faster. I understand that the place is packed and I loved how many times they changed our plates and cleaned the table but on a $1k bill I would like to see food come. Out faster and waitress to smile and be friendlier. At 1 point one of the managers noticed that we had no food or even water for quite some time and personally brought a bottle of water to the table. This is not acceptable for a 5 person $1k bill, other steakhouses of this caliber would have easily received 5 stars.

    Youll have an excellent meal if you go to Del Friscos (Del Friscos Double Eagle Steakhouse, I cant speak for Del Friscos Grille - never been to the latter) - no question about it. We go here every year for a friends birthday, and six years in, its never once disappointed. Given its location (near Rockefeller Center; not too far from Times Square), its a bit magnet for tourists - but its never been an issue. If you go the route of ordering a streak, order whatever cut you fancy - they will deliver an A+ experience and taste across the board. And with regards to sides - again, you cant miss; order whatever strikes your eye. On the appetizer side, the Crab Cake is a must order - so if you enjoy crab cake, no question you must try Del Friscos. Other than the food, the service and ambiance are excellent - its not an accident that this place has been around and thriving for a while.

    I will never get over the level of service we received at this restaurant. The assistant manager walked my 14 year old daughter to the restroom and waited for her to come out and walked her back to the table. When I thanked her for staying with her, she let me know she makes it a point to not let young ladies walk through the bar alone. I was totally blown away by this attention to detail and how this woman went the extra mile. The food and service were great, but this little extra service will stay with me forever.     My boyfriend and I came to Del Friscos on New Year’s Eve. We arrived early and found a place by the bar and ordered two espresso martinis. They were the perfect start to the meal. The hostess then took us to our table in the vault room which was gorgeous. Our waiter Michael H. greeted us and made us feel so welcome. I ordered the lamb chops and my boyfriend ordered the surf and turf. Everything was cooked to perfection and was so flavorful. We ended the night with a chocolate martini and the lemon cake.     A perfect place for special occassions or if you ever feel like treating your stomach to some scrumptious food, Ive frequented this Del Friscos location twice and both times the food has been a homerun! The staff is always very friendly and corteous and they take the time to explain any questions you might have about a dish or beverage. I highly suggest trying the Foie Gras and Tuna Tartare or my personal favorite the A5 Wagyu (can be considered a little pricey to some but what do you expect? Its melt in your mouth Wagyu Beef!). For the Main course I will always suggest going with any of their steaks (it is a steakhouse afterall) and for dessert you cant go wrong with the Lemon Cake or the Chocolate Lava Cake!

    I absolutely love Del Frisco!! We made reservations and came here for my moms birthday. We showed up a few minutes tardy but it wasnt an issue at all. As soon as we got there, they sat us down promptly. The view you get of 6th ave is marvelous and the environment is very lavish.We ordered margaritas and they tasted delicious. My mom and aunt ordered salmon and they raved about it. I ordered lamb chops and they were to die for. We also got the seafood mac and I forgot the name of the creamy potatoes but it was all tasty. They gave my mom a complimentary piece of lemon cake and even that was delicious. I cant wait to return!

    Really great place to go for delicious and fancy food in NYC. Expensive! Most dishes cost $100 apiece, but you will get your food worth of every penny.     Everything about our experience was top notch from beginning to end. I called for reservations only a few hours ahead to request a table with some privacy to celebrate my Dad’s 75th Birthday. When we arrived they gave us multiple options to choose from, and we selected a quiet table in a side room. Our server, Kenny, and his team gave us the best service we have ever experienced. He did an amazing job of spacing out our dining experience, as we ordered cocktails and like to enjoy them before getting down to ordering. The cocktails were all perfect, and very generous. Appetizers came out beautifully presented, and were all delicious. We enjoyed the Oysters Casino, Charred Octopus, Burrata Caprese and wedge salad. Kenny knew we were celebrating and taking our time with our meal, and waited until we were ready to put in our entree orders so everything flowed seamlessly. Our entrees were incredible- we all ordered beef, and they were done to perfection. The filet medallions with shrimp, scallop, and mini crab cake were phenomenal, as was the bone in filet, and the dry aged ribeye. Side dishes were enormous, and more than enough for four people- all fantastic. We were stuffed happily to the brim, but Kenny surprised us with a delicious dessert to share with a candle for my Dad- made him feel really special. Kenny continued to care for us when our lovely evening came to an end- he helped us navigate my Mom’s wheelchair through the kitchen (where everyone was super friendly) to access an elevator to reach the rest rooms. He dutifully remained there to help us get back to the entrance, where he himself held the door and bid us a good night. Above and beyond in every respect. We could not give a higher recommendation, and hope to return the next time we are in town.

    Del Friscos offers a bustling atmosphere and friendly service. The Jumbo Crab Cake was great. The 45-day dry-aged prime ribeye was cooked perfectly but overly salty. The Chilean sea bass was exceptional. Sides like the Roasted Wild Mushrooms were also great. The overall experience was delightful. Note that BYOB incurs a service fee. They also offer a private party room, which was perfect for our graduation celebration.

    There are many steakhouses in NYC but Ive got to say that this is probably the one of the best in Manhattan! Quality of meats, top service and great atmosphere. Ive had the chance to go a number of times and look forward to the wine cellar area next time! The wine list is exhaustive but get one of their sommelier to assist. My recommendation is the aged bone in ribeye! Their pineapple vodka cocktail special is a must too!!!

    We made reservations for Xmas eve which was also my sons 23rd Birthday. Upon arrival we checked in and they were running 10-15 min late. We were told we could wait at the bar. We went to the bar where a bartender named Diarmuid served us according to our receipt. He proofed all of us , which I understand and accept. My son only had his ID in a picture on his phone, he forgot it. The bartender told us it wasnt acceptable and the institution was very strict. My party ordered drinks and we respected the rule. Upon serving us our drinks in a crowded space at the bar while we were waiting for our table he proceeded to go over to my son and inform him Dont do that, the higher ups are here and they take this seriously. This literally happened as we were moving our drinks towards us . What an unpleasant way to be approached and experience.Luckily the hostess came by and said our table was ready after about a 25 minute wait. The wait could have been more pleasant if the bartender had better etiquette.I am still giving this restaurant a high review because our server Chad was great. He was welcoming and so pleasant. The food was amazing as always. And needless to say my son who is 23 never ordered a drink because we respect the institutions policy but dont need to be lectured on it.I have dined at many Del Friscos outside of NY and have never been treated so condescendingly by a bartender at such an upscale restaurant.

    Had a great meal here yesterday. The Butter Cake dessert was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.     OK this place is not cheap but wow is it delicious. Whenever my office has a reason to celebrate, (Once every 5 years maybe). Everyone wants to go here. I usually do their Shrimp appetizer with the many sauces, then a petite filet, (I like a clean tender cut, just who I am). Have to get their pineapple vodka martini and then at least two of the desserts. What really ads to the great food is how fast the service is. Usually they are totally on, (Had one early dinner on an off hour and well, not so on, but only once!). You have to get to this double eagle joint if you are in manhattan sometime. Did I mention the 20 foot ceiling, upstairs bar and view of Radio City? Definitely a worthwhile experience.
