    Good neighborhood bar/restaurant. If sitting at the bar, don’t sit at the bar seats by the door because the curve of the end bar is at an awkward radius where you can’t rest your arms or elbows on the bar comfortably. Bathrooms are clean. They have Smithwicks and Guinness on draft

    Pretty good Irish fare. I saw other American food coming out but we wanted to try the Irish dishes. The bangers and mash I ordered wasnt bad, but by American standards I guess it was great. The fish and chips were spot on, though. Worth checking out.

    Theyre back ! 3 weeks now. Check the new schedule.Just the other day, Lourdes was a marvel and a whirlwind taking care of the drinks from a perfectly poured Guinness to martinis, to managing the outside and inside patrons !Praise the chef too...Thanks to Denis for reopening and giving Mom hope !Only Irish for miles on 57st. Stella, Fat Tire and Guinness beer !! Great food, great service, great Host Dennis and great pour of Guinness !!

    Came in around 10ish and ordered food and drinks. Food was really good and hot. Cocktails were very well prepared. Service was outstanding and friendly. Also, I was thrilled that the noise level was reasonable. Not too loud, making it easy to hold conversations. Definitely coming back.

    A midtown treasure! I absolutely love D.J. Reynolds. I recently came here with my dad who was visiting from out of town.After a visit to a museum and a walk around the Time Warner Center, we had lunch at D.J. Reynolds.It was a Friday afternoon and we were able to find a table. The staff here is SUPER friendly and welcoming.I had the buffalo chicken wrap whereas my dad had the lunch special - beef stir fry.Both dishes were served with generous proportions. Ill definitely return!

    A great Irish pub in somewhat of an odd ball place. Classy wood adorns this pub with friendly bartenders and generous drinks. You wont find scantily clad women or college kids tending bar here. Grown men tend bar here and it shows. The place is big enough for small groups and there is a table section as well.

    Im not going to say much new here, just reiterate how absolutely AWESOME this place is.First things first, the service and helpfulness of everyone who works there is SUPERB. i leave Sorrisos every time with a big smile on my face. They really couldnt be helpful enough, whether its offering their recommendations or free samples. They will take the time to find you what youre looking for. Its service so above and beyond, and something you rarely encounter these days.Now, the food. I love everything I have ever had here. The soppressata is godly. Their sandwiches are to die for. Im particularly fond of their meatball subs, with homemade meatballs, sauce and two big slabs of fresh mozzarella. They have a wonderful cheese selection both hard and soft. I would highly recommend their chicken sausages, also homemade, they are absolutely to die for and fresh tasting. I got also got a steak once to grill and it was the second best steak Ive ever had in my entire life.I will say this, the day I move away from Astoria, I think I will be most sad about leaving this place. Keep up the great work Sorrisos! And Yelpers, you really owe it to yourself to check this place out, what a find.

    DJ Reynolds is a great neighborhood pub. This is a place where patrons have been coming in for years and all are welcoming of all newcomers. As soon as you walk in, you feel comfortable. And of course Dennis, the owner makes sure to stop and say hello to every visitor. The drinks are excellent and at a reasonable price. And if you want to have a really great Fish and Chips, this is the place to have it.

    We had a wonderful family dinner on Saturday evening.. Family members from MN, PA, and CA came together to cheer on a family member who was running in the NYC Marathon, We could not have picked a more perfect spot for our family dinner, Dennis and his staff was very gracious and attentive. Its got tons of space and screens and beers on tap, bottled beers, local beers, European beers, you can get beers here.Arrived early for a meeting with friends and had to kill 30 minutes and 3 beers in I knew I liked this place. They also have some cool scotches as well. Food is good as well and the service is brisk and friendly.Has a much more neighborly feel than the other beer halls in Queens or Brooklyn, price is better as well as the selection. Nice spot for brewskies and then some.

    We gave this place a try recently after we stopped ordering from it years ago after hearing that the quality of the sushi is much improved. This was a delivery. We order the sashimi deluxe and chirashi as well as some other prepared food. Generally, the fish is acceptable but clearly not a quality grade. I would rate it average. Additionally, the variety of fish in these two orders was average. This would all be fine to the extent the prices were reflective of these two factors. However, when comparing the price of our order to that of another nearby Japanese restaurant where the quality and variety are much better, it really makes no sense, unfortunately, to have the food here. There is nothing wrong with the food, but nothing outstanding either, and when juxtaposed with the price, it is hard to justify ordering from here.

    Researching for our New York trip, I looked at eating places near Holiday Inn Midtown, and I chanced upon D J Reynolds, on West 57th Street. We were looking for good wholesome food. We were not disappointed. We were tired of junk food which was affecting my wifes heartburn, and looked forward to our normal food.Customer Service totally fantastic. The food was good and wholesome. I chose an Irish Stew and Jenny a Chicken Pie. Totally wholesome, leaving the restaurant totally satisfied. We were totally satisfied with the customer service.For the six nights we were in NY, 4 of those nights we spent at the Irish Pub, for dinner.Cosy decor, and a lovely atmosphere.
