    We had an amazing time here! I feel like we found a well kept secret place. We ate at the bar with Oscar as our bartender. He did an excellent job making classic drinks and coming up with really fun cocktails based on a few inputs. Hes extremely knowledgeable about the very diverse and thorough alcohol selection.The food was great! Very classic steakhouse with a few seafood and chicken options. All of the steaks were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. 10/10, would recommend to everyone.

    Traveled to NY for my birthday and I loved this place. I went late in the evening, was seated right away. The staff was so attentive and took great care of me. The host recommended the scallops with bacon, it was so delicious! Order this, you will NOT regret it. I ordered the hand cut fries, and these were some of the best fries I ever had. I also had the short rib, with polenta and spinach. This dish was also very delicious, they give you a huge helping that I could not finish. The staff sung happy birthday to me, making my night very special. I cant wait to come back to visit.

    Old school restaurant pretty close to MSG. I easily got a table just after the pre-game dinner rush had ended. I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended!

    First of all, customer service here is top notch ! Everyone here took care of us! The steaks ( NY strip, and filet) were cooked exactly to order, and just melted in your mouth! Mashed potatoes were amazing as well as the spinach with garlic and oil! Highly recommended

    It was quite empty when we arrived on Friday around 830pm ish... Nevertheless, the food was pretty good... The boys had a Tomahawk steak and ladies had a porterhouse (which was tastier than our Tomahawk... Sides were good tooI must add service was very professional and I rewarded my waiter quite appropriately too 👌

    Made reservations on a Friday night at 530. It was empty, but filled in later. The food is amazing. The staff are amazing. A classic old school steak house.

    I came here on a Saturday evening. It was close to my hotel and I wanted to steak. All the staff was incredible. It was a pretty quiet evening but all of the servers kept checking in on me and making sure that I had everything I needed. My server was really knowledgeable about the wines and the cuts of steak and how large they were, which was really helpful as I was deciding on my entrée. My meal didn’t take a very long time. The food was cooked really well and the fries are on the thicker side which I prefer for steak frites. Everything was seasoned well, and I really enjoyed my dining experience here I didn’t know what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

    One of my favorite things to do at any restaurant is to sit at the bar! You get to know the heart of a restaurant since the people that work the bar actually run very large part of the entire restaurant. Tonight, I was absolutely thrilled to meet, Oscar, the bartender who not only graciously welcomed us and served us, but served us a beautiful silver tray for all of our drinks! Talk about setting the tone for your evening .Our group always has solid foodies as well as people love really good cocktail. Absolutely nailed both aspects of the dining experience. Steaks to perfection! We shared the porterhouse, which was cooked to perfectionNow let’s talk about our bartender, Oscar. He Was able to source from his knowledge of variety of cocktails we have never enjoyed before. In fact, he had whiskey that our friends had been wanting to find for a while. This is the perfect combination.

    Came to NYC to catch a Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden.. I read the reviews about this place, almost all positive. Really had an excellent meal, The New York Strip was excellently prepared medium rare... It was so large a cut the middle was actually rare but I am not complaining. Very generous, well prepared portion for a New York restaurant.In addition, the staff were very organized and attentive. I hope to come back next time I am in NYC.

    A hidden gem in Midtown. Honestly just spotted it while walking and decided to give it a try. So many places to get steak in NYC, and we hit the jackpot here. Had a Seafood Chateau for starters. Great sampling of oysters, shrimp, tuna tartar, etc. The Tomahawk was perfect. And as big as my head. You have to have the DK potatoes. Trust me. Just order them. I have to say I am surprised that it isnt busy here at all. Shame. Lots of people missing out. Got a reservation just before I got there, but not sure if it is needed all the time. Hopefully business is booming at other times.The staff were all awesome. Everyone was responsive and engaged and extremely friendly. Kudos to everyone for the great work.

    This place is my new “go to” place in Midtown. The bar is great, the food is delicious, the service is superb, and the owner is in a class by himself. Always on hand to greet guests, check to see how things are going, make recommendations, pour some more wine, and basically do whatever it takes to ensure you have a great time!

    Cannot say enough about how good this place is! The host shakes everyones hand and welcomes them accordingly. Whether you sit at a table or the bar, youll feel welcome. I visit twice a year, and this guy remembers me each time. And dont even get me started on how good their steak is! Take the time and have a seat! Recommend you make a reservation via OpenTable - it gets quite busy on the weekends.

    This restaurant is what NYC is all about. Food is delicious! Service is impeccable! You arrive as a patron & leave as family. NYC gems like this are hard to come by!     Took the company out for lunch today. Got 2 orders of fried oysters, crab cake, grilled octopus, shrimp risotto, grilled salmon over spinach, steak frites, sides of mash, creamed spinach, grilled mushrooms & mac n cheese (yummy yum yum). We got here at Noon because we wanted to beat the lunch crowds. Food tasted fresh.... My faves were the Mac n cheese, crab cake and the creamed spinach... The cheese in there was so rich and delicious. The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. First class service and with the price. Well definitely be coming back here. Enjoy!!!

    Amazing steaks and side dishes, the Brussels sprouts were a bit too spicy but the rest was amazing and exactly the way you would want. Great details with the Leona in a glass and very friendly service. At the entrance greeted friendly and recognized the country I am from which caught me by surprise. Great experience and have a glass of the Malbec

    Had a wonderful experience dining at DK yesterday!! I work with a dental office in the area, 34th Street Dental and we discovered this local gem recently. We loved the service so much we had our annual holiday party there last night. It was a huge success! Our employees enjoyed every bite and the hospitality delivered by the DK team. Excellent dining and wonderful space! Thank you.

    Went to celebrate anniversary. I was not convinced at first, but once we tried the food it was everything that we didnt know what we needed. My husband got the Spanish octopus and I got steak fritters and It was to die for. Perfect taste and perfect texture.

    We had a very nice steak for 2 dinner. Like almost all NYC steakhouses a bit pricey but worth it. Not a entirely sure what could be better so they could have gotten a 5 star rating out of me. I guess its really good but pretty sure there must be better ones.

    A great restaurant that feels like its up and coming. Bar seating with a small main room with what looked like room for a larger party in the back. The service is exceptional and the food top rate. The wine selection is a little shorter than I would like, but the vintages that they do have pair well with the meals they serve.

    Came here for lunch. Food is expensive but sooo good. I had the ribeye and fries. My only complaint would be the ribeye is on the thinner side, but it was honestly so delicious. My server Brandon was attentive and friendly as well.. this place is very cute and charming on the inside, a perfect date night spot

    Found this gem of a restaurant looking for something close to MSG. Just a few blocks away. Food was amazing. The staff was top notch. Our server, Oscar, was great and been working for this establishment for 32 years!! That says a lot to me about the owner, Dennis. We met him, he was very nice. The fried oysters were sooo good!! My husband had the filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked with a lot of flavor. Creamed spinach was just OK. I had the salmon over spinach which was cooked with fresh garlic. YUM! My cosmopolitan was made perfectly and husbands wine was very good. Prices were as expected for fine dining in NYC.

    The waiters are attentive and and the food is good enough. I went for a work holiday dinner with co workers and it was a decent time. The place is rather tight in space but we did have an event room all to ourselves. The drinks at the bar are good. The seafood was ehh. I could have done without.

    Service was definitely top notch, did the porterhouse for two. The meat was cooked correctly med-rare but I wasnt blown away. Thought we had just eaten the pork belly appetizer and were feeling it already. All in all it was satisfying but nothing really special.

    A definite lunch crowd. The room was full and noisy. They have a $25 lunch special. I waited two minutes to be sat. The bread was not fresh. The service was friendly and fast. I had the boar ragu for appetizer. The pasta was gooey but the boar and the seasoning were delicous. The waiter was very attentive although he had multiple tables. I give the salmon a B+. I give the waiter an A. If you are a chocolate lover, you will love the cake. Overall, it is a good dining experience for the money...

    I stopped here for a quick dinner before the train. I sat at the bar, and told the waitress, Natalia, that my train is in less than 1 hour. She arranged the rush service, and they brought a catch of the day just in time: a seared sea bass. It was delicious. The service was attentive and quick. I definitely recommend the place. Its not an economy food though.

    One of our very favorite restaurants to vist....ANYWHERE! The menu is interesting and the food is consistent and outstanding. The thing we love maybe MOST about this restaurant is the overall experience. It feels high end but comfortable? The team that welcomes and takes care of you goes beyond the call of duty and I just feel so great after a marvelous meal and great interactions with kind people! We make sure and visit every time we are in town!

    This is my third time at delmonicos the food is always good as is the service. No one at the table this time had steak. I had the chicken pillard and the rest of the people had salmon. My chicken was grilled well and the taste was ok. It could have used a little more season. Which is why I am not giving 5 stars. I cant knock them completely because its a steakhouse and we didnt have steak which I know are really good.

    I am glad Delmonicos opened another restaurant in Fashion District far away from Financial District! It is a great steakhouse and now it does not require much of a train ride from me.I came here with my girlfriends for Restaurant Week 2013. It is dimly light and quite romantic. LOL The service here is not as stuffy nor formal as the one in FiDi. The staff is very friendly and fast.I started with their Iceburg Wedge Salad. It is a good portion and I really like it. My girlfriends went for the scallops and they said it is well done too. For entree, I went for the obvious choice, Filet Mignon. The waiter recommended Medium and it came out perfectly with a small side of spinach and meshed potato. I really love the steak; it was very tender and not too rare. The meshed potato is rich and smooth.I ended the dinner with their fancy doughnut. It is lightly fried with powered sugar and dipped in chocolate sauce. I only managed to have 1.5 out of 4 of them. They are delicious!I would highly recommend coming here for a nice steak dinner!

    I came here recently for an office holiday lunch because I am a fan of the original Delmonicos on Beaver Street. The food at this location is just as good (even though I had salmon this time rather than steak), the service was a tad slow. I think it was because it was the holidays and the place was crowded. The waitstaff isnt as attentive as the ones on Beaver Street. Overall, I would come back to this location for another lunch and/or dinner.

    I went here for a work lunch and did not foot the bill so keep that in mind.For apps, we had oysters, wedge salad, and caesar salad. Oysters were only ok, a little on the fishy side. Not as fresh as they should have been. The salads were quite boring. Nothing stands out in my mind.Just about everyone at the table ordered the Delmonico steak. For those of you that dont know, thats a ribeye - the best damn cut of steak you can get. Fat is flavor people! Take your NY Strips home!Anyway, the steaks were very good, as good as you can expect from top steakhouses in NYC. A few of them were overcooked but the waiter was quick to correct them. Mine was a perfect medium rare.We also ordered sides - fries and creamed spinach. Both were great. The fries were fresh cut and double fried to perfection. The creamed spinach was rich; yummy but you can tell there was a LOT of butter in them. Monte au beurre to the max.Overall, great lunch! I wish I could eat like that all the time. However, if I had to pay, I would never go there for lunch.

    Delmonicos Kitchen is a great place for a quick or casual lunch or dinner in the midtown area- and excellent for business meetings. You can feel the rich history of the DelMonicos brand, but in a modern, relaxed setting. Had the Crabmeat and Jumbo Shrimp appetizers and the famous DelMonicos Steak as an entree - no complaints. Service was quick and attentive, despite being busy with a bustling lunch crowd.

    Me and my boyfriend went to this restaurant for a nice dinner Friday night. I had the NY strip and he had the filet mignon. Both were delicious and our waiter and staff took great care of us. The cheesecake was very good too. Will definitely be back when we visit the Times Square area again.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at DK Restaurant. The food was OUTSTANDING! And the service was spot on as well. It wasnt very busy for a Friday night for some reason. We were very surprised as there were only a couple other tables full. For a place with such amazing food and service I dont know how the place wasnt packed!!

    I chose DK Restaurant for a business dinner with 16 people. They seated us in a back room to give us a good space for conversation. Our wait staff was excellent. They made sure that everyone received the attention they needed and accommodated our requests. The wine list was top notch. The food was superb. I had a filet mignon and the DK potatoes. Both were so delicious. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion.

    Took a client here before a NY Rangers game as its not too far from Madison Square garden. The overall service was pretty good, however a few requests slipped through the cracks here and there which caused the 4 star rating. Additionally, while the main dishes we ate (steaks) were solid they werent the best that you can have in the local area. I will admit the side dishes such as the hashbrowns and Mac and cheese were truly special and I highly recommend getting those with your meal. Overall, this place is a solid 4 star restaurant and would return under the right circumstances. Cant go wrong coming here.

    The steak had such great flavor. The wine selection incredible. Since they didnt have the bottle we selected, our waiter took it upon himself to find one similar that we might like, saying if you dont like you dont have to buy! Well, it was fabulous.     My boyfriend and I have been here three times already and each time the experience is great. We first stumbled upon this place on Valentine’s Day 2020 and fell in love ever since. The service there is impeccable from the manager to the servers everyone was very polite,very helpful, very mannerly which is always a big plus for me personally. The food was also wonderful I always have my go to which is filet mignon with potato fries and it was cooked to perfection my meat was still very tender very juicy not dry and their homemade fries are to die for. I have to commend the owner Dennis who was very grateful for having us and rewarded us with complementary shots. I also must commend the servers Omar and I forgot to ask for the name of my most recent server but he was amazing as well. Cant wait for my next visit!

    Came for restaurant week dinner. This place gives out a very chill, laid back, yet classy vibe. The service here is great (although our waiter does seem to be a bit nervous and flustered when asked about wine), and the staffs are very accommodating with our requests and needs (change in table configuration... etc). The decor is simple, a bit retro, and elegant (love the subway tile and light fixture). Food here is also great - the braised short rib falls right off the bone at the touch of my fork, and the truffle honey that came with the cheese and cold cut platter was absolutely delightful (Id dip my short rib in there if I could). I would buy jars of those honey if they have them on sale - definitely check it out!

    Recently dined at this Midtown outpost of the original Delmonicos in the Financial District. Service was excellent and the food was typical steakhouse fare. The decor is much more modern than the downtown Delmonicos and there is a large bar with a decent crowd.

    My husband and I came for Restaurant week and I had what should be called the very petite Salmon. Ive never had such a small salmon. Regardless, the Salmon was excellent, as well as the first course risotto and the Baked Alaska for dessert. My husband enjoyed his NY Strip and Asparagus from the regular menu. It was a little disappointing that it wasnt on the RW menu. After all, the Delmonico steak was. The waiter was too busy for us at times, we had to wait for him three times but then the management noticed and were accommodating and stepped in. I would definitely come here again.
