    My colleague and I stopped last night for dinner and drinks, it was my first experience and she had been there multiple times. We had a great experience, and what made it great was our waiter Cesar - he was attentive, made sure to give advice and checked on us as appropriate . The food was OK, I am a bit picker because I have celiac and there are never many choices, especially at chain type restaurants. Overall our experience was a good one!

    I ordered the beef enchiladas (enchiladas de carne), and it was delicious! The staff was great too! Overall, I enjoyed eating here, and hopefully, Ill come back if I ever visit NYC again!

    Dos Caminos is a decent spot, but our experience was marred by some unnecessary confusion. The service was okay—nothing special—but the happy hour situation was frustrating.We arrived during happy hour and sat down, ready to enjoy some drinks, only to be told by our waitress that happy hour prices were only available on a specific side of the restaurant. This wasn’t clearly advertised, and the whole situation felt unnecessarily complicated. Why not make happy hour available for all guests, regardless of where they’re seated?While the food and drinks were fine, the lack of clear communication and restrictive policy left a sour impression. If you go for happy hour, make sure to ask where you need to sit to avoid the confusion we faced.

    Stopped here for lunch today and was seated at a nice table. Service was a bit slow but the food was good. Nice menu with every good Mexican dish from Tacos to Burritos, Enchiladas, salads, Fajitas and more. Happy hour Monday - Friday.

    The plantano empanadas and the bacon wrapped shrimp appitizers were so good we got another double order as sides! Regular menu can stand a bit more creativity. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas and the miserly piece of steak they gave me was embarassing. They filled the platter with shrimp and put this tiny piece of steak. But its all good because the appitizers were worth it.

    Went for lunch with coworkers this week. We sat outside, which was rather nice. The food was ok, could have been hotter (cheese on my taco wasnt even a little melted). Prices were good for the amount of food you get. The chips & guac were great! Service was good, but our waiter never came back to refill waters or check on us. Overall, I thought it was pretty good & Id go back.

    My sister and I were strolling around Manhattan and saw a sign for happy hour and decided to get a beverage. We were surprised by the happy hour prices and selection in a good way and enjoyed everything. We returned the next day with our mom which was a Saturday and they have happy hour all day on the weekends. We stayed for about 2 hours and all the food was hot and delicious. Next time I visit from California this will be one of my go to spots

    Just pure wow! This is my second time here in less than a week. I live in the ‘hood and was so excited to see this gem pop up after the 3rd Ave Midtown E location recently closed. The guac is super yum, love the new menu (especially the ceviche) and the new tacos. Wednesday night was quite the scene with the fun after work crowd. Great for a date night or post-work cocktails. A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO JOEL! Simply adore him. This was our good fortune of having him twice. He was truly the best. Made our group of 5 feel so spoiled. I wish we could have pulled up a chair and had him join us!

    We came here for lunch on Friday and sat at the bar. Happy hour drinks and food were on special at the time so I got the house margarita for $8. Shoutout to the bartender for making them strong. I got the 3 chicken tacos that came with rice and beans. The food did taste good though but It was a bit on the overpriced side for me $19 and the portion size was a bit small. Overall it was an ok spot. Ambience was cute indoors though.

    Loved the burrito (the pork and steak). Their cocktails are good too. We didn’t have a reservation but got in with no problem. The restaurant is beautiful, loved the interior design.     I’ve been to three other locations. I must say that the staff here is super attentive and friendly. They are swamped due to an event happening. However, they are making sure that the other guests are having a pleasurable experience. My server was a gentleman name Coby. He was phenomenal, he would be the reason I would definitely come back and visit. As well as, the hostess Kaylah. She was exceptionally helpful, warm and friendly.

    We normally go to the one in Times Square when we have theater tickets but were pleased to find this location closer to our hotel on a cold night. The food is great, the interior has cool vibes, and our server Cesar was absolutely fantastic. Top marks from the hostess making us feel welcome and seating us somewhere warm, and to the food and service.

    The hostess was terrific. They put us at a nice table away from the front door, which I asked for. Our server was named Cesar B and he was outstanding. He seemed like a professional waiter - very casual, but very candid about items on the menu and I appreciated this.I had the steak quesadillas, which were terrific. The Caesar salad was wonderful and the fajitas were great Siri pleased with everything especially how honest and fun the waiter was.

    I love dos cominos, but every location has extremely different ways of making their food; however, their guac is always good and their entrees are fairly good and consistent. Far from the best Mexican food in Manhattan, but the consistency and convenience makes it my go-to Mexican place.

    Return to Dos Caminos for a coworkers birthday . We started with the cheese dip and Nachos as an appetizer. Tanya ordered the chicken avocado salad which was very large and very tasty. Edyta ordered the chicken tacos which came with flour tortillas. I ordered the birria tacos which came with corn tortillas.We also ordered the corn cake watch out!! Its tasty but has jalapeno inside .We had a great waiter who was on his first week. He was friendly, funny and added cheer to our birthday lunch .Ill be back on my birthday in three weeks Thank you again.

    My wife and I have been going to Dos Caminos in the village for years . Now we have one a short walk from our apartment. 😀. The new location is big and decorated be very nicely. They have an extensive list of tequila and mezcal. The food and service were both very good. My wife and I shared the guacamole with chips and the Oaxacan Shrimp Quesadilla.

    Grabbed dinner here while in town with group from work. Got the chicken burrito, solid burrito with some spice. We also got chips, salsa and guac. Chips were pretty salty, salsa was heavy on the pepper, but the guac was solid.

    I love the service at this location! My server Cuate is the best! He was very knowledgeable and has a great personality. He recommend so many wonderful options to eat. For starters my best friend and I had the chorizo Tex Mex queso dip. As for the main course I had the shrimp enchiladas suizas along with the Cadillac drink. My best friend went with steak sizzling fajitas and a regular margarita. Which we both loved very much and of course for dessert we had the strawberry tres leche cake along with churros with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side! We both left very happy and full and loved the ambience/ experience all thanks to Cuate! We can’t wait to go again and hear what recommendations Cuate has for us!

    My experience was phenomenal. My server Cesar Ayala was a friendly guy that gave me many recommendations. He was a walking encyclopedia of flavor and food. Mr Ayala was very professional and overall made my experience good. I went to eat during my lunch break and didnt expect to have a lovely experience however Mr Ayala was a friendly welcoming guy. I have brought many dates here and my guy has hooked it up. He deserves a raise.

    Emilio, wow! Where do I even begin. Emilio is the prime example of leading by example. This Manager is quick to roll up his sleeve and get his hands dirty in efforts to assist his team and guest. There was a small hiccup my first visit and he wasted no timeAt jumping in to recover the service (or lack there of). An angel - Thank you Emilio. Your hospitality was truly appreciated. 🙏🏼

    I really liked this restaurant. The previous reviews had me a bit skeptical but Im glad I tried it! It was packed when I went and we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a table. The wait for food took a minute but that was to be expected given the restaurant was full. The waitress was kind and was doing her best. The food and drinks were good! I would definitely go back again when in New York.

    I was here in the afternoon for happy hour with a group of coworkers. Three of us arrived shortly after 3 and wanted to sit upstairs at the larger bar area but we were told we couldnt go up there until three because the bartender wasnt ready. The bar on the first floor was smaller and had other patrons and wasnt as spacious or intimate as we would have liked for the large group we were expecting. We asked if we could sit upstairs and wait (we had bulky coats on and bags with us) but the staff wouldnt budge. We stood for over 30 mins - and while we werent ignored, the manager and staff didnt seem appreciative of us choosing their establishment or even trying to do anything to encourage us to stay. If it hadnt been for the fact that 20+ people were all expecting to meet here, I wouldve left. Once we were allowed to get upstairs we ordered the white and red sangria which were delicious, so that made this visit better. All in all though, I have no desire to visit again. Maybe If the manager came over to us and spoke and apologized for the wait or made us feel like he was happy we chose his restaurant to spend money in my feelings may have been different. A complimentary drink or appetizer for the wait wouldve been a nice touch.

    Traveled to NYC from Arizona and spent an entire week there. Never expected to find such delicious and authentic Mexican food there. Only draw back was having to sit in the bar due to not being able to navigate the stairs, the dinning room is on the 2nd floor, ugh. Im definitely going back next time Im there.

    Love the ambience! The food is spectacular and the service is astonishing! What is there not love? We have an eclectic selection of food and beverages & I’ve had the privilege to have most of if not all of the items on the menu. Come stop by and enjoy some guacamole, margaritas & tacos and don’t forget about the churros 🤙🏼 ask for Noel the server.

    I went with my husband for our 5th Wedding Anniversary and it was spectacular ! Service was amazing . I mentioned my anniversary to my waitress and she secretly put a dessert together for us . Loved the experience and will definitely will be coming back .

    This new version of dos caminos is in a much nicer space than the one they used to have in midtown East. Very nice and open and the upstairs is especially bright and modern. As always, the food is very good and the cocktails are excellent. Its a little pricey, but still a great place to go with a group after work.

    Alysia was my server and she was amazing! She recommended a great drink and provided phenomenal service. Her warmness was very welcoming which added to the overall experience. This picture is of the drink she recommended and it was Amazing - it’s now my go to!

    Always walked by the place and decided to give it a try.The atmosphere was nice. Our waiter Cesar A was very accommodating and friendly which is a plus. He suggested the guac which I may add was great. It was fresh. Cesar A provided great customer service. We will be back.
