    We were seated promptly. Staff were professional and friendly. Gave a stellar recommendation for our first breakfast experience at Duomo51. Enjoyed the view in spite of the scaffolding.

    Server BRYAN made my dissatisfaction with my Ribeye steak worth the visit. Although I wasnt happy with my food, the other ladies in my party loved their pasta dishes and the Duomo salad. The Prosecco was also delicious. Very fresh ingredients. Bryan and table attendant were absolutely wonderful.I would also like to add. I spent months planning our girls trip to culminate at this restaurant with the intention of watching the Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller.The single reason I booked this restaurant was for this possibility. To arrive and find out that the balcony is booked for a private party and we werent allowed to even enter the balcony is really unacceptable. I was heart broken. I should have been called and notified as soon as this inconvenience was booked so that I could have made other arrangements. To make the decision not to notify guest of changes, is really disappointing and insensitive. Do better

    Nice quiet atmosphere for a meal. The wine service is excellent and the food is reasonably priced for such a fancy restaurant. Food was delicious and well portioned.

    Really cute spot and the pasta was great! We tried a cocktail and enjoyed that as well. The bread they give to start didn’t seem fresh and was a bit dry. Online it said they offered a lunch menu but when we went for lunch on a Monday it wasn’t available for some reason. The server was polite and the atmosphere was bright and quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch here and would come back.

    Had a very late lunch yesterday (2:30ish). Waiter was on the phone at the hostess stand when we arrived. He was apparently annoyed and being short with whomever he was talking to- seemed to be a potential reservation, bc he kept asking them to spell their last name..& another waiter came to get us menus and seat us. Very friendly and helpful “assistant/bus boy” ( Maurice so?) brought us waters and bread. Unfortunately the waiter (Krisard) that was on the phone ended up being our server. Don’t really think he wanted to be there.. he took our order and left. I had to ask Maurice for a wine menu - which he had to find Krisard to get one brought to me. I had the wine menu for 5-7 mins and had to ask Maurice for the wine I wanted bc Krisard never returned..of which Maurice brought the wine back to the table. I could see Krisard walking around inside on his cell phone the entire time. Krisard brought our food and we never saw him again until he came to take the plates before dessert. There was 2 pieces of bread in our bread basket which my husband asked to have wrapped up to go and Krisard said they didn’t do that with their bread? Do they reuse it? Anyway we had the prefix lunch $40 (Meatballs, Chicken Milanese & panna cotta) & and eggplant parmigiana appetizer. Food was decent; however based on service & that we were one of 2 tables when we arrived, service was very lacking by Krisard & we won’t return.. too many other options in NYC.

    I chose the restaurant main due to staying at the doubletree hotel, but it was a very pleasant surprise.Very delicious and pleasant dinner. I had the minestrone soup to start followed by calamari. Both good although the calamari was a larger portion than I had expected for appetizer. My main was rib eye steak which was huge but tender, with mushroom and potato for sides. A very good steak and more than enough to fill any appetite. For dessert I had the tiramisu.Chris my server was very attentive and cheerful as was the rest of the staff. Definitely recommend.

    First I would like to thank Kris, who was very professional, knowledgeable and very kind. Kris is an absolute professional and you can tell he loves what he does. He was always by our table making sure we were getting the best customer service as well as recommending us his own favorite dish from the menu which was very helpful. It’s very rare to come across such professionalism.Place is absolutely beautiful. Views from the restaurant are breath taking. Every detail is well thought through and made with love. Place is not only very welcoming, but staff and even owners come up to the tables multiple times to make sure everything is good. If you love to dine in luxury and get good service plus food, then this is the place to go!Food was absolutely delicious. Every dish they served was amazing and as a pasta lover I can assure you that they had one of the best pastas ever. Cocktails were not only picture worthy, but yet very tastyOverall I am very happy and satisfied with my visit. It was worth every minute spent there and honestly I cannot wait to go back.Try it for yourself, you won’t regret!

    We had a wonderful delicious and romantic dinner on a beautiful night in NYC. Brian, our charming waiter who is originally from Albania suggested the lobster and shrimp saffron dish and it was excellent. The chef Will from Florence visited our table and that was a special treat. All around lovely evening and a special place! Highly recommend!

    Me and my partner came in for some early evening drinks and snacks and were looked after by a server called Bryan he was absolutely lovely and very helpful we really appreciated him and his personality. The cocktails were awesome and the food was really fresh and tasty!

    Discovering this treasure was one of the happiest accidents ever. Its literally next door to my doctors office and I was in need of some culinary comfort. Walked in and right off the bat it looked so gorgeous and glam we thought, oh no, its going to be snooty. But man were we surprised. We had no reservation yet we were treated kindly and given a seat with a view of St. Patricks, the wait staff were professional and helpful, but not hovering. The food.OMG the food!!!! Ive never been the biggest fan of Italian food, but Duomo made me a real one. Id been craving Gnocchi for weeks, and practically gobbled it up it was so good. Creamy, well seasoned and well cooked. My husband has been talking about their food since then. Gorgeous! The drinks were equally delicious.Its spacious, lovely setting and decor and has a fun, unpretentious yet sophisticated vibe. Definitely returning [already booked a reservation] and Im even thinking of hosting my birthday party there this year. Truly an NYC gem.

    Came to this restaurant on a busy Sunday and had no reservation but we were tended to and seated immediately. I recommend ordering the grilled calamari appetizer and the salmon entree - both were delicious and cooked to perfection! It’s clear that the chef knows how to prepare seafood dishes. I somewhat regret my choice of ordering the carbonara as the sauce was too thick for my liking but the flavor was good. I’ll definitely come back another time to try the gnocchi with shrimp! Good drinks, nice view, great atmosphere!

    I love this place . The service was premium and the food was great!It is new and I booked for Valentine’s. It was so empty as they just opened for 15 days but the food was amazing I wish I could eat more!The ambient is perfect for almost every occasion . There are in and outdoor seats for exclusive dining .We will go back for rooftop when it is summer.Imagine getting tan and sipping drink there 💅.The view is perfect. I bet it will be a popular spot within a few months .I wish they had bottomless occasionally or some new interesting drinks for summer time .

    Chris is a wonderful waiter and the ambiance here is incredible and the entire staff was warm friendly attentive and the panna cotta was perfect!!! I highly recommend this place right in Rockefeller!

    We went there last night for my partner’s birthday and had the best time. The service was excellent and they offered great recommendations for food. We both got pasta and it was delicious!! The lava cake was also made from scratch and was *chef’s kiss*. Sitting on the terrace last night was a little hot because there wasn’t a lot of wind and no fans outside, so we were sweaty 😅

    We had amazing time at Duomo 51,as soon as we arrived we were welcomed by friendly Hostess who showed us to our table. We walked through high-end decorated dinning room to outside seating. Right away the view was spectacular, the atmosphere welcoming and tables arranged in the way as you dont feel forced to be close to others.We ordered drinks and bottle of wine and we shared multiple appetizers, pasta dishes and dinners, therefore, I had opportunity to taste variety of food.Presentation of every single dish was amazing and taste of food was delicious. I would highly recommend to taste multiple options from the menu.Attentive wait staff made sure we were well taking care of.As a group of people we all had amazing time and enjoyed our dinner, as the sun went down and table was lit just perfectly to have night ambience with beautiful views of Rockefeller Center.Duomo 51 has amazing atmosphere, either for night out or romantic dinner.I would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

    Stunning views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall from their 7th floor terrace. Service was great and there were plenty of delicious cocktails to choose from. Loved the Carbonara and steak and of course we had to finish with the crème brûlée and chocolate soufflé. Their desserts rotate so they tell you what’s available each day. Enjoy!

    I had breakfast at this place. It is on roof of Double Tree Hilton, you need to watch the sign on the sidewalk to not to miss entrance. Good service, good breakfast. I liked it because I am into basic things done right without complications and all I had was an omlette and coffee. Location of the restrooms is a little difficult.

    Truly a hidden gem in the city , it’s right in the heart of the city. It’ faces the cathedral, radio city and 30Rock. It’s located on 51st and located in Double Tree Hotel on the 7th Floor. We headed up the elevator and opened up into a beautiful inclosed rooftop. We were greeted by the host , and seated on our preference.Now to the food , started with the complementary bread and butter. Ordered the Grilled Octopus and Artichoke Guac and we both did Espresso Martinis as drinks. For main course we ordered the Tableside Branzino , and 2 Pastas .     My second time two weeks to enjoy a fabulous meal at Duomo 51. The food quality, preparation technique and presentation is outstanding! The menu has wonderful choices. The service was fabulous….     Duomo51- Perfect orchestration from food to atmosphere to service-one can find it at this 7th-floor hotel restaurant. Its location is perfect, situated on a patio that provides an especially stunning view of Radio City Music Hall and the surrounding cityscape. Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly and escorted out to the open-air terrace, where the refined atmosphere was inviting. Course after course began with the burrata and were a delightful beginning. The cacio e pepe was outstanding, simply. The bartender concocted delicious drinks that accompanied our meal quite well. Chris, our waiter, and his attentive assistants made our dining experience seamless. His recommendations were spot-on, and the chef cooked each one of his items perfectly. The dessert course was a special treat to round off the meal with this well-known tartufo. It is not only a place in which to dine alone, but rather with whomever for the purposes of experiencing and having an abiding memory of it. One hint to future diners would be to make sure to take in the view and the ambiance, as much a part of this culinary experience as the food itself.

    Wonderful food, service, and ambience. Great pre or post theater meal. Close to Broadway and Rockefeller center. Menu very varied and delicious. Try the veal Milanese or Branzino. Our waiter Lito was really attentive to our questions and requests. And Lito knows the menu. Will recommend to many people.

    After attending the Late Night with Seth Meyers taping, my friends and I met at Duomo51 due to the location.     The experience from start to beginning was hospital and of high class. Chris was amazing from the beginning and discussed what would be best to try as a new guest.     Great Italian restaurant in Midtown with decent views. In my opinion, the view isn’t as good as some other places but the price is still quite steep. But, the food here was fantastic. Everything was great. It came out to $300 for 4 people with drinks, apps, desserts. My only complaint with the food was that the pasta was slightly overcooked over al dente.

    The wait staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was outstanding. My husband had the Cacio E Pepe. It was the best! Fresh and so tasty. I had the goat cheese stuffed chicken. Oh my! The best!! The atmosphere is so fun. It’s a bit loud. So if you struggle with hearing… it’s a challenge. Highly recommend!!!

    We ordered three pastas and split them, which seemed to annoy our waiter. The bolognese and tortufo were both amazing. The carbonara was very grainy. One of us also had the soup and loved it. The dip for the bread was good. The dessert was amazing. The torta was on point!! We tried to switch one pasta for salmon while the waiter put in the order but he said it was too late which was confusing since he was putting it in still. Overall it was good.

    Duomo is a great place for family and friends especially starting a weekend!! it’s a HIDDEN GEM in the Renaissance Hotel at 25 West 51st Street -7th Floor. The outdoor patio is very nice and enjoyable to see a NYC Parade coming up 6th Ave. Excellence in both food and service and a terrific indoor bar area to enjoy !!! Highly recommend and don’t be taken back on meal costs - bountiful plates that are great!!!

    I was actually blown away by this place considering most Italian tastes the same but this place is a hidden gem. It has an intimate chill vibe and nice views. The drinks were very good. The olive bread & sauce they bring out is the best ive ever had. For apps we got the ceasar salad, eggplant parm and meatballs (highly recommend all 3) and for dinner for 2 we split the scaloppina di pollo and the cacio e pepe, which i normally would not order but the pasta is homemade and it was worth the hype. Service was good. Will deff be back

    Loved this place!I spend the Valentines day at this very new spot in the city.The atmosphere was gorgeous and service was excellent . Amazing views of the city and a outdoor dining must. The inside of the restaurant was also gorgeous with a beautiful view of St Patrick’s Cathedral.The food is perhaps what surprised me the most. For the appetizers, we got the burrata, and grilled octopus . All were excellent.Duomo51 salad was great. The papardelle tartufo was super delicious. Will definitely be back here!

    We stayed at the Doubletree in Midtown to see a concert at Radio City. We were delighted with the breakfast service at this hotel eatery.     I recently had to take someone out for a special occasion in Rockefeller Center for Christmas. I spoke to the owner who was a perfect gentleman and took excellent care of everything. Food and service were absolutely exceptional and it couldnt have gone any better. There is also a balcony outside where you can take pics with a gorgeous view. It was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend and definitely repeat.

    We enjoyed a wonderful meal with excellent service. We had only seen the reviews and decided to give this place a try. We entered the very small hotel lobby and the elevator brought us to this 7th floor wonder. We sat on the open air terrace for dinner, high enough off the street for the view and sound from St. Patrick Cathedral bells chiming. The food was excellent from appetizers to desserts.     I loved the vibes. The food was delicious and it did not take long to come. I loved the pictures that we took. My only problem is the fact that a glass of wine was $16. It was barely any wine (not even half of a glass). The entire bottle outside of the restaurant costs $15.     So there was a review in here that made me second guess our decision to go but I realized the person isn’t educated in authentic Italian food.After spending several days in Italy this summer my husband and I prepare for Dissapointment but Duomo 51 is the closest we’ve had to Italy yet. The eggplant wasn’t fried and the olive oil smelt fresh, some of the staff even spoke Italian and had an accent.We took our kids between 10 and 14 who did beautifully in a high end restaurant with no kids menu.The only downfall is the view — of course it’s touted but depends on where you’re sitting. We had a great view of an office cleaning team.And the bathrooms are one floor down in the hotel — that was weird.But we’d certainly go again.

    Last night dinner at Duomo51 was amazing! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. For appetizers, we had the grilled calamari and the avocado artichoke salad—both were fresh and tasty.For my main course, I tried the pistachio and mushroom fusilli, which was delicious. We loved everything we ordered! The view is fantastic—you can see the Christmas tree and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, perfect for taking beautiful pictures. Definitely a great spot for dinner!

    Duomo51 has a lot of things going for it. If it were a lower-end restaurant, I would give it five stars, but as a rather expensive high-end restaurant, Im going to judge it more harshly.When you first come in, youll immediately notice the nice ambiance this place has. It gives you a great view of St. Patricks cathedral. Its a great location for a restaurant.The prices definitely arent the most expensive that youll find in New York, but its not a budget place either. The cocktails are $20 (the going price for a cocktail in the city right now is 14-17) and good, if not amazing.I got the meatballs as an appetizer and was quite pleased with them. Moist, flavorful, and everything you would generally want from a meatball. I got the rack of lamb, which was a special, for my entree. This is where my complaint starts. I asked for medium rare. The single thickest piece would qualify, but all the rest of the lamb ranged from medium to well done. None of it was dry, but the natural flavor and juices just werent there anymore, which was unfortunate since the only thing to garnish it was asparagus.This brings me to my second complaint, which is that the maitre d came in after I was served the food, said he hoped I enjoyed the lamb and then disappeared for a half hour in an otherwise empty restaurant. I gingerly ate the lamb because it was taking forever for him to get back to me and its not like there was anything wrong with it. But I expect a high-end restaurant to have faster service and check on me quickly to make sure the food is actually good.So why am I not rating this place lower? Because when they did check on me, they quickly offered to redo the dish. Since Id already eaten half of it, I wasnt in the mood for a whole new dish, so they offered me a dessert.I chose the tiramisu, and that tiramisu alone saved the rating for this place. Let me tell you, dear reader, that it is the best tiramisu I have ever had.4/5. Room for improvement, but what they do well, they do really well.

    PERFECT restaurant right near the MOMA for a beautiful dinner. I was so glad that the tables were low and easy to access as a wheelchair user. The glassed-in terrace was so lovely, even on a rainy day. We enjoyed the burrata and grilled calamari to start, along with delicious cocktails(blood orange Aperol spritz-YES) and impressive wine list. I was so happy with my homemade Cacio e Pepe noodles, they had the perfect egg flavor and texture. It’s definitely a splurge, but worth it!

    Fantastic. My family and I went to see Lord of the Rings in concert at Radio City. We chose Duomo51 because it was right down the street. To our surprise upon arrival, it turns out theyve only been open for a few days! So we had the treat of a quieter ambiance, which was nice. Im sure that once people catch on to Duomo51, this restaurant will be very popular and will require reservations far in advance. Great restaurant.Its a lovely setting on the 7th floor, with an indoor and outdoor area (they can open up the roof and windows when its warm) and the option to sit at an outdoor bar. Theres a cozy fireplace. The food and wine were fantastic. Complements to the chef on the Tartufo. It was delicious.The service was excellent. A special thanks to Avi, who treated us incredibly well and made sure we had a great experience. We will definitely return to Duomo 51 and Im glad that we know about this spot now. My only fear is that when it gets discovered how special of a place this is, itll be harder to get a reservation!!!! Great restaurant with great food and great staff!!!

    This place is absolutely amazing.I have been staying at the hotel (unaffiliated) this week on business, and I have come here every night without fail. The views are gorgeous- on one side, you can see St. Patrick’s Cathedral in all its glory. On the other, Radio City Music Hall and gorgeous sunsets. The atmosphere is relaxed but feels very upscale. The music is fabulous but also understated, so you will find yourself catching a vibe along with an old favorite you haven’t heard in a year or two. The clientele is upscale, but the meals and drinks are very affordable and beyond delicious.I highly recommend… everything. I have tried a new thing every night I have been here and there has never been a “miss.” Even the coffee is spectacular.You cannot go wrong with the Burrata or Caprese (can you tell I like cheese). The Spaghetti Alla Chitarra is delicious. I’ve always wanted to try sage butter ravioli and it did not disappoint. The Scaloppine Di Pollo Al Fungi is cooked to perfection. I tried a special today- the broccoli flan. Not only was it extremely innovative, but it is absolutely delicious.Do not leave without getting the tiramisu. I’ve never tasted one better.If you’re just going for drinks, you can’t go wrong. In addition to the fully stocked bar, they have incredible, innovative specials.Chris is an absolutely wonderful host and I cannot say enough good things about the level of service he and the rest of the staff provide. Shout out to Fabio as well, who is truly just a great person. And everyone else… you can’t go wrong here.I’m sad to leave New York but I know where I will be the next time I’m here.
