Wow it was a special time today. The hostess made our table of 8 happen faster than we thought. Diego the manager was on the floor and so helpful. Justin was our server and he was super nice and very thorough. They all communicated so well. Delicious food and beautiful fresh and open atmosphere. We really loved our lunch. Thank you

Their calamari is among the best I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant—refreshingly served with some fried vegetables. The white truffle pasta and seafood pasta further elevated the dining experience. I also really enjoyed the view, which includes the 9/11 Memorial building, and friendly service added to the overall experience.

The food was incredible. We had the burrito with focaccia bread that was mouthwatering 10/10. Lasagna was great as well. Deserts impeccable. Fantastic service. I have nothing negative to say about this place in any way shape or form.

It is a great location to find hidden imported gems for Italian food lovers. They have many options from open lunch style eaterys, prepared and cooked to-go meals, fresh produce and meats, as well as packaged goods such as coffee and cheeses. Prices arent too bad, and the atmosphere is awesome. Recommend taking a spin through the store if you are nearby and havent seen one before.

3.5 / 5.0 - The desserts are pricey and for the price, I’d expect proper seating. But the cafeteria seating is limited on weekends and we had to wait for some time.I tried the Sfera ($8.90+), which is a huge ball of hazelnuts and chocolate, with hazelnut cream inside, on a shortbread-like cookie. It was a delicious dessert but the cream inside was a bit too sweet for me considering the size. Maybe good for sharing.

We went out for my best friend’s thirtieth birthday and we had a great time. The appetizers were so fresh and delicious. The lasagna I had was very layered and filled with flavor. All the beverages we had were excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure our experience was on point. I would highly suggest this place for a casual dinner or a nice event.

A beautiful view of a very sad and memorable place for every American... A very beautiful game of words in the name of the institution. Pleasant atmosphere, good service and quite delicious food. But the burnt sides of pizza may be considered the top of culinary art in some country, but I dont like it very much... Thats why I rated the institution a little lower. Its not scary, but its not perfect in my opinion... Drinks are expensive, and in general the place is not an inexpensive restaurant. But we had a great time with friends and I can recommend this restaurant to visit. The design of the institution, by the way, is quite original, interesting and pleasant.

Eataly NYC Downtown is a true gem for anyone seeking an authentic Italian culinary experience in the heart of the city. One of the standout highlights here is their mozzarella, which is simply incredible. Creamy, fresh, and expertly made, it melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly with their selection of artisan breads or as part of a classic Caprese salad.Another must-try is their Margherita pizza. With its perfectly blistered crust, rich San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fragrant basil, it strikes the ideal balance of flavors.

All I can say is bring extra bags and money. I only went for busiate and Mole cola. Yeah, I went home with more. First, come hungry, they have everything from casual eating to fine dining. Theres a bar and wine shop too. Endless amounts of pasta, cheese, salami, and desserts. Fresh pasta and fish too!

  • Review 10 (2024-07-16 - Rating: 5)

Very good food and service! They were quick with our food, and the Foccacia bread was SO GOOD!!! My mouth is watering as im writing this. 😩The 4 cheese pizza was so crispy and the cheese was very melty. Ive never eaten gnocchi before and it was okay! Also grabbed a mango sorbet as a dessert. The sorbet was good although the scoop came flattened and underwhelming.

  • Review 11 (2024-08-03 - Rating: 5)

Authentic Neapolitan Pizza with great flavor and best in class ingredients. We ordered the bruschetta as well which was really good. Highly recommend this place for authentic Italian food.

  • Review 12 (2024-07-17 - Rating: 5)

This place is AWESOME! Its a little overwhelming the first time you visit. There are so many areas to shop around and food stations to grab a meal. There is a little cafe for full service dining as well as a larger restaurant behind the fish section. We came 4-5 times within a couple of days. Once just to look around (spent over an hour just looking!) came back for wine and gelato. On another visit we each grabbed what we wanted for lunch - shrimp cocktail and fruit for my daughter, chicken Milanese sandwich on soft sesame roll for my husband and a slice of pizza (more like focaccia) with pesto, tomatoes and burrata and a glass of wine for me. We sat by the window in the coffee cafe area and people watched on the street. What a great way to spend your lunch time!! Another time we came back for pastries and more gelato and to shop. I wish we had one close to home, because this is my new favorite place!!!

  • Review 13 (2024-05-14 - Rating: 4)

Stopped here before heading to the memorial tour. Service was quick with menus and ice cold water. We started with the calamari. Probably top 5 Ive ever had. The outside was really crispy and the calamari was tender but the taste of the calamari, shrimp, and zucchini was excellent. Our pastas was cooked perfectly and seasoned. Nice stop for a quick lunch in the middle of the city.

We had lunch at Eataly NYC Downtown before visiting the 9/11 Memorials, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the spicy pizza and the spaghetti with clams and shrimps, both of which were amazing. Even though its located in a shopping outlet, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively and enjoyable. There is also a store inside where you can buy a variety of Italian products. It was quite busy, but the food made it worth the wait. Highly recommended!

  • Review 15 (2024-08-07 - Rating: 4)

Eataly’s newest capri edition menu. tiramisu and tuna tartare lemon pasta were soo goodd but overall eataly is a spot I’d recommend for good vibes and consistent fresh italian, it’s not mind blowing good or unique ya know

  • Review 18 (2024-01-19 - Rating: 5)

We were a bit disappointed because we couldnt get a table when we wanted. So we ended ordering a takeout pizza and diverse plates from the takeout counter and the ready made. We were surprisingly happy with everything we had. We found empty tables by the takeout counter where we had our dinner. The octopus and shrimp were delicious, the grilled Brussel sprouts very savory. The salads and pastas amazing. The service is excellent and everyone is very helpful. The restaurant was very crowded and there werent tables available and we didnt want to wait for we were starving.

  • Review 19 (2023-12-26 - Rating: 5)

This particular location is smaller than the one in the Flatiron so if you are choosing between them, now you know. This Italian market is exceptionally well stocked and has distinct sections for all your culinary needs.I often swing though early to grab something for lunch and maybe bring something home to cook for dinner. The cheese / deli section and butcher are both wonderful and the staff super helpful and knowledgeable. The checkout experience is a little strange as it’s not obvious but they have self checkout so it’s quick.

  • Review 20 (2024-09-03 - Rating: 4)

I ordered from the prix fixe and got the arancini and lemon butter pasta. I was disappointed that the arancini came out dry and not in a small pool of marinara... I asked for some and got charged extra. The lemon butter homemade pasta was very good.

A beautiful culinary experience in the heart of downtown Manhattan! Fresh, flavorful authentic food is found here, with impeccable service. The views from your seat are absolutely gorgeous. And you cannot miss browsing the Italian grocery that’s so massive.

Sept 29, 2024 - we had a wonderful dinner which consisted of Pappardelle Al Rago Di Funghi, and Linguine Allo Scoglio, both very well prepared the pasta Pappardelle was fresh home made pasta the linguine served al dente. I would recommend both. We also ordered a bottle of Valpolicella Allegrini ; with a little help from our waiter. We followed with a Pannacotta al Pistacchio and cannoli.Everything was well done, well served in a wonderful environment. I would recommend this restaurant at this location highly.Previous review - As always very pleasant, comforting and reliable. Easy to access via subway and walking (truly pedestrian friendly). Enjoy with family and friends.

This is the best Margherita pizza Ive ever had in my life. Its absolutely delicious, just like everything else at Eataly NYC Downtown. From the fresh, high-quality ingredients to the perfect balance of flavors, every dish is a true delight. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great place for both casual meals and special occasions. Whether youre craving authentic Italian pizza, fresh pasta, or a variety of mouthwatering desserts, Eataly never disappoints. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience in New York City!

  • Review 24 (2024-02-10 - Rating: 4)

Famous Italian restaurant located as an annex to the Oculus. There are several options in the menu, but pasta and pizza seem to be the preferred ones. Weve had a lasagna and a papardele - both were good enough. I was anticipating the place would be pricier - so that was a good surprise. In summary: a good Italian place with a very nice view of the surrounding area.

  • Review 25 (2024-11-05 - Rating: 5)

An absolute gem for anyone who loves Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is vibrant and bustling, with so many food stations and options that it feels like stepping into a little corner of Italy. The quality of ingredients is top-notch, and everything from the freshly made pasta to the wood-fired pizzas tastes authentic and delicious. The marketplace also offers a fantastic selection of Italian groceries, wines, and desserts. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend dishes or help you navigate the many choices. It’s a must-visit spot in NYC, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, enjoying a full meal, or stocking up on Italian treats to take home. Highly recommended!

We got off the Hop on Hop off bus and walked around Wall street area for exercise and being tourists that we were that day, we were looking for something to eat that was Italian. Found this place and we had actually walked by it a few times seeing the name on the building above. This became about a 2.5 hour tour stop in itself. Wow. The food and lunch was amazing at the dinning in area. The view across from the WTC was beautiful ❤️. Thank you for your service and bringing life to the greatest city in the world.

I went 9/20/2023 ..The store part was a lovely experience they have everything! The restaurant part now…as long as Uriel isn’t my server I’ll be fine because the food was good. Gratuity already included and our server Uriel V. Did NOTTTTTT give good service at all. I had questions and he didn’t answer it fully so when I ordered I ended up wanting to change it QUICKLY & had to get up and find him . He seemed annoyed to change my order then got my changed order wrong because he barely wanted to do it as really had an attitude like I was bothering him. Over all he did not want to serve us and I was not happy about it but because my 2 friends were visiting from out of town I did not make it a “big deal” but in this climate I think it is a big deal the way he treated us . I was so turned off and disappointed in the treatment that man gave 3 women I just let my friends speak for me and do my portion. Never again Uriel.

Business lunch - my team loved it. Spacious and open layout with a lovely view of the Hudson River. Everything we ordered was wow.Staff is friendly although a bit unavailable during the lunch rush. The female manager was courteous and professional. That is unusual.

Really amazing service, food was very fresh. Wait staff were really helpful and very attentive. We had a simple mix up with our order and they were so apologetic that it didnt annoy us as they fully made up for it, it was a very simple mistake and they made such a special experience for us to make up for it.

  • Review 32 (2023-08-29 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful place to eat FRESH (made day of) Italian foods. They have a rosé bar, a pasta bar (you can watch how they make it), espresso bar, pizza bar and a pastry and gelato bar. Everything you need to feel like you’re enjoying an authentic Italian meal. And if you feel like you want to bring some of that delicious Italian fare home, they have the freshest ingredients to cook with. Will definitely be back again. There are plenty of choices for the whole family to enjoy. 🤌🏻😋😉

  • Review 33 (2023-03-05 - Rating: 4)

We sat down for Pizza and Pasta. Pizza is great, lasagne is good, and carbonara is a bit salty. Waiter is nice and professional. We feel like the selection of restaurants could be better at Flatiron location.

  • Review 34 (2021-08-10 - Rating: 4)

Quick service and a tad rushed, assuming to keep tables moving. No leisure lunches here. All friendly and professional. Seafood salad starter was pricey and was more like a carrot salad. Carrot ribbons too large and difficult to eat though presented well. Pizza was nice with a good crust. Views are amazing and grand even if you dont snag window seats. Nice elegant decor.

So our first day in New York was on 9/11 so we visit the Memorial Day down at the twin towers site and paid our respect. After we were there a while we decided to eat here and share a lovely bottle of wine. The wine was fruity and light a lovely balance to be paired with the charcuterie board that we ordered.Would recommend to eat here as they also have a pizzeria inside also.

  • Review 36 (2021-12-14 - Rating: 5)

While this outpost of Eataly has the amazing food and market you may have experienced at other locations, it is smaller and has less options. That being said, it is still an amazing experience and worth going out of your way for and paying a bit of a premium for. First of all the view out of this location is just insane. It’s essentially a park/world trade center memorial view and it’s just beautiful. The interior is smaller than other locations but also seems to be a bit calmer and quieter which is a huge plus. We started off with the amazing cheese plate - deliciousness with every bite. I ordered the cacio y Pepe pasta which was made to absolute perfection. Service is incredibly good and they do a good job of matching your dining pace. I can’t wait to return next time I’m in NYC!

  • Review 37 (2024-02-17 - Rating: 4)

The atmosphere is nice. The waiter patiently tought us how to pronounce the food in intalien. Like the chocolate cake with strawberry and gelato. The pasta is a bit salty though.

  • Review 38 (2022-03-06 - Rating: 5)

Great food! The fest deal was definitely worth it. The wine was ok for the price.A little disappointed with the service - my friend had his pizza in 30-40 min, and our food was served in different times, not at the same time. Hopefully this won’t repeat.Recommended

  • Review 39 (2024-05-09 - Rating: 4)

There’s no denying that this place is completely over-the-top but so are some of the prices and the food sometimes doesn’t completely lineup with the hype. But I have to say this is definitely the place to come if you’re looking for stuff you can’t find anywhere else.

  • Review 40 (2022-11-05 - Rating: 5)

Pasta, cheese and wine selection at the restaurant is great. Love the most recent collaboration with the Color Factory - livens up the atmosphere a ton. Eataly has all the ingredients you need when you need to cook up (or try to) a hearty Italian meal.

  • Review 41 (2024-01-30 - Rating: 5)

Attended the pizza-making class last evening, and it exceeded all my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Jonathans expertise was exceptional - he was fun, engaging and informative and hands-on with all 8 taking the class. I will be trying another of their classes very soon.

  • Review 42 (2022-05-05 - Rating: 4)

Huge interior with plenty of seating, although service was a bit slow (might be understaffed). Menu is expensive but everything was delicious! Portions are well sized, we had trouble finishing everything. Highly recommend the steak, lobster linguine, fried calamari, charcuterie board, and all desserts! Tiramisu, cannolis, gelato were fantastic

  • Review 43 (2024-07-05 - Rating: 5)

What an experience, don’t miss out on the fresh pasta, sauce, seafood and pastries, it’s a don’t miss in NYC!!!

  • Review 44 (2023-05-15 - Rating: 5)

An Italian-themed branch of the famous Italian market. We had a our dinner time with pasta dishes. For a dessert we stepped by I’ll Gelato to grab delicious Italian ice cream, gelato and sorbet. I personally liked Lamponi/raspberry sorbet that was sour sweet and non dairy option. We tried small Italian goods from the Venchi bakery: a few bites sized with filling, chocolate or different flavors and filling. My favorite was lamponi moose cake. A local Lavazza coffee shop made a perfect cappuccino that was creamy and had a beautiful coffee taste and foamy. On our way out you can find a great selection of different pasta, risotto rice and pasta sauces. Italian pizza restaurant, fresh produce and a winery as well as seafood department of market on your way. Touristy spot that is great for everyone who wants to try Italian brands when in the NYC downtown . Dolce Vita!

  • Review 45 (2024-01-19 - Rating: 5)

We were here for dinner. I adore this Italian restaurant; its atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service was excellent, and the pizza, wine, and coca were all delicious and flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant. 😋🥰My last lunch at Eataly was an amazing memory!

  • Review 46 (2022-08-19 - Rating: 5)

Make reservation online first if you don’t want to wait. It gets pretty packed during peak hours. This Eataly is so much better than the one in Chicago! Loved the deco (changes once in a while) and amazing views. Service was average but the food are absolutely authentic and delicious. Strongly recommend to give this place a go when you’re in the area.

  • Review 47 (2024-08-01 - Rating: 5)

Great place to eat.Everything tastes really good. The portion sizes can be a bit small. The pizza is smaller than it looks and is very thin.I went during the weekday at around 6. There was a small line but the wait wasnt very long.I definitely recommend it, the food is fantastic.

I missed home, and I decided to have pasta at Eataly. Delicious tagliatelle con ragù. Very good value for price. With 20$, you have a good meal (if you want to have the same dish anywhere else in Manhattan, youll pay 28/30$).The store is located in the world trade center memorial area, very close to the Oculus, and in the same building of H&M.You will find the store on the second floor.I took the chance to do some shopping as well, authentic products from Italy here.

  • Review 51 (2024-11-17 - Rating: 5)

My friend and I had a lunch in downtown where she used to work in World Trade Center area. It’s located on top part of H&M and near oculus.Wow we had so much fun!!Pan Rustico was so perfect baked! Crusty but soft and chewy inside.Margherita Versace was a simple great pizza.Loved papprdelle al ragu du fungi!!! Homemade pasta with firm and tasty mushrooms. Still dreaming about it.Their seafood, meat, dairy, pizza, bread, pasta sections were impressive. So festive and so nicely decorated so I was confused if I was in Italy or NYC. If you miss Italy, you can come here to enjoy authentic Italian food and ambience.Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

  • Review 53 (2020-11-23 - Rating: 5)

The place is located at the heart of New York City. It has amazing vibes. Very crowded and has farmer’s market style vibes. We had the window seating with the One World Trade Center view. The food was amazing, very delicate and tasty and most importantly extremely fresh. We enjoyed some Italian beer along with the food.Must try!!!!

  • Review 55 (2023-08-08 - Rating: 4)

Ive walked past the signage for this place for literally months on my way to and from work. Friday was the first time I actually walked up to the third floor of the Oculus Mall (Im sure it has a different name, but theres no way its as good as Oculus Mall) and experienced this for myself. My chum is a huge fan of both this location and the main one up in the Chelsea/Nomad area; its clearly an establishment that caters to both tourists and locals, though Im guessing from my experience that this downtown location is a LITTLE more touristy by virtue of its location a block from Ground Zero.We showed up for a very early lunch here, around 11:30am or so (which completely threw off my eating schedule, but thats a story for another day). Id actually recommend this time of day for a visit if the appetite/schedule allows - it was very low-key with excellent service, but you could tell it was starting to get a little more bustling by the time we wandered out. Im not sure exactly what I was expecting based on the promotional material, but I was definitely not picturing something this high-end with multiple businesses within the establishment; beyond the sit-down Italian restaurant area, there was a grocery store, butcher shop area, deli, etc. Its a lot to take in.We split the Pane Rustico app ($3), and I opted for the Tagliatella Alla Bolognese entrée (about $28). Its hard to go wrong with bread and olive oil. Obviously no one wants to have to pay extra for it, but $3 is pretty reasonable if you have to, and it WAS tasty. I prefer warm bread (this was room temperature), but it was definitely high quality and hit the spot. We actually got it because the waiter helpfully warned that my chums entrée would likely take a bit longer than usual, but neither of us thought the wait time for the main food ended up being particularly noticeable. Win win. The Bolognese was very good. Was it the best Ive had? No, but it was solid. I thought it was a bit on the bland side but I liked the meaty sauce, and the portion was respectable. The price point for me was a little haphazard. I think you need to adjust expectations when youre jumping into an unapologetic tourist trap like this, but roughly $30 for a pasta lunch entrée is a bit high. I also strongly considered getting a glass of my all-time favorite wine gewurztraminer (which is insanely difficult to find by the glass, believe me), but it cost $20 - I could literally buy a few bottles of wine at Trader Joes for that. Its also a little tough for me to morally justify non-vacation wine before noon, but I would have made an exception if the price had been more reasonable. If youre up for battling the tourist hordes in the area, this is a surprisingly decent Italian spot.

This was a great dinner. Food was well cooked and tasty. No non-alcohol or soda options except water. Bruschetta was kay. Not tomatoes, just goat cheese. Suggest a good read of the menu with what is in the food to make sure it is what you expect.

  • Review 57 (2021-11-20 - Rating: 4)

Food was great. Customer service was amazing. Plenty of dining tables. Place can get packed around lunch/dinner time. Food is quite pricey. This is the perfect example of quality over quantity. Food delivery time can be improved. Took 30 minutes to get our dinner plates. Definitely worth the first time trip. Parking garage parking only. Mass transit is preferred.

Cool place with a huge variety of vendors - meats, fish, cheese, pasta, veg…Little touristy and kitschy, but worth stopping by.The restaurant has amazing views overlooking 9/11 Memorial.

On a recent trip to NYC I wound up traveling for over 12 hours subsisting on airline club and pane food. Needless to say when I took the PATH to get to the WTC and I saw that there was an Eataly here, I jumped at the chance to try this location.Listen now, NYC has amazing pizza. But based on my previous experience with Eataly in Boston years ago, I decided this was a good choice as I was hungry, exhausted and in need of a glass of Lambrusco. Problem solved!I was warmly greeted by the front of house and immediately walked to a table. Once I verified my allergy needs the sever and I discussed a pizza…Sausage, cremini, fresh basil, San Marzano tomatoes. OMG!Score:Toppings 10/10. Fresh tasty and properly executed. EVOO is buttery and smooth! Mushrooms are perfection, flavorful but not rubbery. Sausage is amazing. Basil was so fresh I wonder if they didn’t pick it right before they put it on!Cheese 8/10. Smooth and melted perfectly.Crust: 7/10. Some flop but very tasty and simple.Sauce : 9/10. Sweet, fresh, a little salty and just enough.I’ve had NYC pizza, NJ neopolitan and lots of others. The market section has a nice assortment of fresh ingredients, pantry staples and every type of pasta one can think of to put together a delicious Italian meal. Its restaurant area is intimate and refined in setting, with dim lighting and elegant decor. The menu selection is nothing crazy, but Eataly has perfected Italian food basics. The pasta was perfectly al dente and came in a simple but flavorful tomato sauce. Also really enjoyed the steak tartare! It was fresh and had a nice mouthfeel to each bite.

One of my go to places for good Italian food and authentic Italian grocery as well. Had some amazing lunch here and I got the vegetable lasagna as they were out of pappardelle pasta. It was a 10 layer lasagna and the best I have had. Great views of WTC area from the tables.

Danny DeVito. Pretty funny guy eh? I just went to see a broadway play where he was the main star. The play was about Danny needing to clean his house otherwise the fire department was going to come and evict him. Danny’s best friend, Foster, and his daughter, I forget her name, encourage him to clean, but he doesn’t. There are a few tussles between the characters, with the action peaking during a truly comedic 5 minute soliloquy where DeVito is playing the classic board game “Sorry!”. During this monologue, DeVito is playing all four pieces, red, green, yellow, and blue. According to DeVito, the red piece is the devil, whereas the yellow piece has been “called by God to slay the red piece”. The yellow piece does in fact slay the red piece, with some choice language by DeVito to celebrate this occasion (DeVito implied that the red piece was born to parents who were unmarried). After the game of Sorry!, DeVito cleans his apartment, all of his loved ones leave him, and we live happily ever after.I would like to highlight a few notes about the show that I particularly resonated with:1. Devito’s best friend, Foster, moves to the 11th floor in a building in Cleveland. In my last apartment, I lived in the 11th floor. And, I used to work in Ohio, infrequently frequenting the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport2. The entire play is about DeVito cleaning his room. I really need to clean my roomGiven these two facts, did I believe that the play was specifically speaking to me? Yes, yes I did.I walked out of the show happy.I also walked into the show happy, and that’s because I ate lunch at Eataly. Our waiter was a lovely man. He quickly developed a great banter with myself and my parents, who were accompanying me both at lunch and at Danny. We ordered our food in English, and my dad said “was that good Italian?” Clearly it wasn’t good Italian, my dad was speaking in English, but I thought it was a good bit.Now in this situation, the easiest response from our waiter was to say “no, that is not great Italian”. However! Our waiter surprised me when he said “Yes that was incredible!”I was throughly impressed, let me explain why. As I mentioned in my review of the lovely Spanish establishment “Toledo”, my second favorite class in college was Public Speaking. My first favorite class in college was improv. In improv, the #1 rule is to say “Yes” rather than say “No”. Saying no shuts down an idea, and saying yes is telling the other person you hear them, and you accept them.In the moment the waiter said my dad had a great knowledge of the Italian language, he heard my dad, and he accepted my dad. This acceptance came into handy when our meal ended, as the lovely waiter came back and gave a hard sell on the dessert. In a post lunch situation, my parents will often say no to dessert. However, given the rapport the lovely waiter had developed with my father due to his impeccable improvisational ability, my dad decided to splurge for the post moon sugar rush. The cake was described as “half sponge cake half sweet bread”. Sounds lovely to me.Just like Danny DeVito’s bald head, the cake was covered in a smooth, white sauce. And just like Danny DeVito’s Einsteinian hair, the cake had raisins and candied orange to add texture. And just DeVito’s sense of humor, the cake made me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. So now you must be thinking, “What is the name of this dessert!”. So here’s the thing…I don’t remember.I looked all over the internet. “Famous Italian desserts”, “Eataly NYC menu”. Nothing. I think the dessert just got added to the menu today, so it has not yet been updated on the Eataly website. But if you say “I want the dessert that’s half sponge cake half sweet bread”, I would hope they can help you out.The name of the Danny DeVito play was “I Need That”. Danny did not want to clean his room because he needed all of the stuff, as they represented important memories in his life. Just as DeVito needed his stuff, I needed that sweet Italian dessert. And you do too.

A huge selection of fresh products. Organic, local brands, pasta that the store wants itself. Cheeses, meat, fish, vegetables, desserts. A lot of products from Italy. Qualitatively. Prices are above average. I recommend it

Wish I could give it more stars!! Everything was above my expectations! I did not make reservations. My mistake. They were so kind and gave me a great seat with a window view. The staff is super nice. The food is amazing. Cant say enough good things. Its a bit pricey but worth every penny.

Such an incredible place and wonderful concept. We could have easily spent the whole day in there eating and shopping. Really loved seeing mozzarella being made. Hopefully one of these stores gets opened in Australia!!!! I guess we’ll have to come back to New York and extend our stay here.

I went there on New Year’s Eve day to eat my diner. We wanted some pizza. I had found this restaurant in a travel guide and it seemed like a nice place.I found my pizza tasty but not as tasty as the one I usually eat and I also thought it was a bit expensive… I live in Belgium and here in most pizzeria you get a pizza for about 15$. Anyway the pizza was still good! The bread with olive oil served before the pizza was a good idea and the waiter who served us was very kind. I just don’t recommend it to people who don’t want to spend too much money on food..

A very lovely establishment. Authentic Italian cuisine and confections arranged in vibrant and colourful displays.I was in a party of four who came to the restaurant for dinner this evening. Originally, we had reserved a window table but since my nephew was feeling very cold, due to being directly near the AC vents, we asked to relocate, which was done smoothly and efficiently. We ordered the lasagne, Bolognese pasta and a pizza margherita. The pasta was nice, however my nephew said that the pizza was the best that he has ever had.I look forward to patronising the restaurant again before my NYC stay comes to an end.

A neat little hallway with dry-aging cheese and ham hocks on the way in. Wonderful pizza. Avoid the overpriced drinks. Sorbet of the day was wonderful. Janky timings - was rushed initially, then left waiting for the check until I flagged my waiter down. Waitstaff who pour your water do not make eye contact and their minimum suggested tip is 20%? Laughable. Ricardo was very polite and his recommendations on point. The sanitizer left a weird, gritty residue on our partys hands. Yuck. Would I come back? Maybe.

I recently on september 30 , 8 pm had the pleasure of dining at Eataly Place, and I must say, the overall experience was delightful! The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, with beautifully designed spaces that reflect the essence of Italian culture. The menu is a culinary journey through Italy, featuring a diverse array of authentic dishes made from high-quality ingredients. My pasta was perfectly al dente, and the flavors were absolutely exquisite. However, I felt disappointed by the service at the beginning of my visit. The hostess (little woman)seemed a bit overwhelmed and wasnt as welcoming as I hoped. We had a long wait day , and her demeanor was somewhat curt, which set a slightly awkward tone for our evening and hands signs she put her hands almost in my mouth when she told me to waitThat said, the rest of the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which certainly made up for the initial hiccup. I would highly recommend Eataly Place for its delicious food, vibrant ambiance, and attentive servers. Just be prepared for a somewhat rocky start with the hostess! Overall, I look forward to returning for another delicious meal!

The location is very emotional, right at the One World Center, and the place itself is warm and welcoming. Nothing to question about the food, which is just perfect, as you may expect it to be. I would invest some more to level up the furniture, because at this point the price level kind of requires that.

  • Review 82 (2024-08-13 - Rating: 5)

This may be a tourist trap, but here you can set yourself free! With plenty of dining, dessert, and drink options and specialty grocery items including produce and protein, theres something for everyone. My little family had a late dinner here with fresh pasta dishes from Ravioli & Co. in the themed food court area. All meals came out within 10 minutes and all were really tasty and filling with a delicious sourdough slice. For dessert, we had good gelato and a cannoli made with cow milk cream from nearby counters. Mangia! Mangia!NOTES/TIPS:**On the top floor of the Westfield Mall, but dont hate, escalate! Escalator and elevator avaliable.**Across the street from the Oculus (WTC stop on the Path).

Im a huge fan of Eatly and love the Flatiron location. But, this one takes the cake. High ceilings, comfortable seating and a large layout. Love coming here for the fresh pasta, gelato, fresh fish and baked goods. My friends and I made sure we stopped by the holiday raw bar for the $1 oysters and sturgeon. If you really want to treat yourself get the large seafood platters for 2-4 people. Its great value for $100 and you get a nice variety of seafood. Ravioli and Co is one of my must go restaurants. My friends and I ordered the quadrati con ricotta e spinaci, ravioli cacio e pepe, tagliatelle all bolognese and the fusilli al pesto genovese. The ravioli with the rich pecorino romano cheese was heavenly. If you love cheese they overload it on this dish. The bolognese is a must order with the pork ragu. The tough tagliatelle provides plenty of texture.I love how Eatly features specials all throughout the week. You can really plan out your meals prior to coming here. My friends and I found ourselves venturing to every corner of this establishment just to explore. This location is very easy to find and navigate around. If you love Italian food expect to spend at least 2 hours here.

EATALY has never failed me at any of their locations.

Forager Yogurt !!! You can find it at Eataly. OK this is what I want to say: I love yogurt and I only eat yogurt that is vegan and that’s because I have a problem with cows milk. And I love cows milk, and I love me. I have been grazing on FORAGER’S yogurt for a few years now, and it only gets better. My favorite is the blueberry. And it also comes in a drinking yogurt in a bottle. There’s a lot to say about foragers yogurt and that’s why I put pictures of what is in the ingredients and how good it is for you in this review . Also, I want you to know that no one’s paying me to do this. Shooks, at some point you have to tell the truth.I am so happy to find something edible that is pure and that is intelligent. I was born in Selma Alabama during the height of the civil rights movement and as a child we fought for civil rights, to register and to vote. When I saw VOTE in big “bowl” letters on the carton of forages yogurt, I said to myself, we got a winner here ! Now, they were already a winner with me. But when you can bring it like forages does you can eat what’s inside of that cup and know that there is someone who’s making this yogurt that has a brain in their head, I applaud them applaud them! Look at this ;top on the cup that says vote and on the carton it says it’s simple. Go buy yourself some and read everything on that carton. And run over there to Eataly!!! and enjoy yourself. They got everything up in there. Thank you so much Forager. Liquid activist. Damn!By the way, Eatay ,yall need to keep a little bit more of the brand up in there because the last time I was there, I noticed that it goes off the shelf fast ❤️

This is an awesome eatery where food is all Italian from different regions of Italy. The entire place is all about foodies and drinks alcoholic or non alcoholic with wide array of italian food choices from A to Z.It also have mini grocery stores for really fresh vegetables seafoods and meat produce and not forgetting theres a variety of cheese and wine to buy.We ordered from Ravioli and Co. where they make from scratch fresh pasta Tagliatelle Bolognese and their Ravioli Prosciutto alla Carbonara. The verdict is that its something to die for and its a must try al dente pasta with generous portion of sauces 😋 on them! Also we added slices of their 🍕 the Margherita is a good choice .Oops not forgetting our sweet teeths theres the cakes and pastries section 😋. We bought a whole tray of tiramisu(so good) to end our yummilicious meals.

Enjoyed a quick lunch here and the flavors and presentation brought be back to days in southern Italy. The simple pomodoro was on point, cooked perfectly al dente, albeit a bit too salty to my liking, over-salting or tasting salt seems to be the norm in restaurants in American. Even though it was pretty busy and took a while to get our orders in, the staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable and after placing our orders our meal came surprisingly very quickly! Definitely want to come back soon to try the menu in the Osteria.

The food at this restaurant offers an authentic feel of an Italian fine dining eatery. The standout dish is the Margherita with fresh burrata, which is one of the best pizzas I’ve had in NYC. If you cant decide, this option will never disappoint. We also tried the Lo Spaghetto Al Pomodoro pasta, which had a classic and subtle taste. The service was excellent, and we were lucky to get a walk-in, as this place is usually fully booked during prime weekend times.

My favorite Eataly location is Midtown. This one was compact and confusing. I felt like a needed a map. We purchased some desserts which looked amazing but lacked flavor and were super dense.

If there is a delicious place to eat which also offered a great shopping experience it’s Eataly.Having some of the best of Italy to offer from great meats, cheese, deserts and the same to bring back home this place has it all.No wonder it’s tends to get crowded during weekends as people love the buzz and the environment the place has to offer. Browse thru the selections, pick up a gelato or sit down to eat and have some good pizza or a cheese and plate of charcuterie you will not be disappointed.Plan on spending a good part of a Saturday afternoon and the experience sticks with you!!

I was hesitant coming here based on the bad reviews but honestly, this surprised me. I had a great dinner here with my mom. My review is probably slightly skewed because I came for the Eatalyfest, where you could get $25 bottles of wine and $20 for an appetizer and main course (I think that was the deal anyway). I had a great meal through that event. I ordered the fresh mozzarella, which was fantastic. The peas ravioli was surprisingly very flavorful. You can really taste the peas (which I love) and it pairs well with the light lemon sauce. Will have to come back again to see if my regular dining experience is comparable, but overall, had a nice dinner here.

Beautiful Italian market near the Trade Center. I stopped by for lunch and got a Soppressata sandwich and pizza with mozzarella. Theres indoor seating available. The store is a supermarket, restaurant, deli and lunch spot serving local workers and tourist.

My friend recommended this place to me and my husband. So, we decided to come here for a Sunday brunch, and it did not disappoint us. It’s a happy, casual, welcoming place. The pastas we ordered were very good, very satisfying after eating! It’s a large open space, so it’s good for families or groups of friends. It might feel a bit crowded if you want to have a nice date.
