    Food was great although portions were small. Drinks were awesome and strong. Staff was attentive and nice. We were a party of 4 ladies and had an absolute blast during Sundays Moroccan Nights. Definitely a great interactive night full of dancing.

    Came here to celebrate the birthday. We used a PULSD for the Moroccan themed night. Had a party of 14 people.Everyone had a splendid time.Food was amazingWe had the chicken skewers, Hummus and Moroccan Salad for appetizers. LOVE LOVE LOVE. the apps were full of flavor & a great size.For dinner option we had Salmon/Beef / Mushroom plates and those had good flavor as well. The rice and couscous wasn’t as flavorful but if you mixed it with food you’re good.Drinks were goodOur waitress was amazing and patient with our party and the Manager was awesome.The dancers were great and they encouraged participation so don’t be shy to get up and dance with them when they come your way. Thanks for a great timeWe have no negatives at all.

    Had a delightful brunch at Elsie Rooftop this Saturday! Jeanny, the manager, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Smoked Old Fashioned and the Be Mine (Valentines Day Special) cocktails, both unique and flavorful. The Shashuka and Smoked Salmon Board were delicious, accompanied by a refreshing Elsie De Wolfe. A perfect blend of atmosphere, service, and delectable dishes. Highly recommend!

    Interesting spot. Spent a few hours here with friends on a night out. It wasnt too busy overall. The place is pretty nice, decor-wise and they have some creative drinks that are not standard fare. Cocktails were about $18. I had the peach sangria and it was tasty. Our party also had the truffle grilled cheese and it was pretty delicious. Views are okay... It looks like they have a bit of a view of the new years ball, so could be a decent spot for new years. Nothing compelling me to come back, but I wouldnt say no...

    We went for lunch on a Sunday, but they still had their brunch menu on so we decided not to eat just drink and enjoy the views. The decore is beautiful, you can have a covered outdoors experience with I assume is popular in the winter or a full outdoors experience around the side on the building. Would definitely visit again

    Went to a fabulous burlesque high tea event at Elsies rooftop and it was amazing!! The space was great considering most of it was not accessible since it’s Winter. It felt more open than I expected. The food and tea was just okay. Could have been better. The performers were amazing though. Made up for the food and tea. Definitely recommend this place for the space and performance!

    I had the best time here, the view, the vibe, the music was all exactly what we needed. I met up with my girlfriend & the drinks kept flowing, our server was really attentive & the manger Jackie was amazing!!! We had cosmos, frose & green tea shots, with kebabs & sliders… really loved every min of our experience ❤️.

    Lovely venue with a great view of the city. Came here for an event. Unfortunately, the acoustics weren’t audible enough for attendees who couldn’t squeeze in the front. The space is rather vertical vs. an auditorium style that’s conducive for talks and panels. Drinks were great, however, and the hors d’œuvres too.

    Nice atmosphere and very well decorated. The drinks are, obviously, expensive and they also have a small area where you can sit and eat some dishes (which are quite decent for a bar). The only problem is that it is a little small and can get packed pretty easy and moving around becomes a challenges. Only 3 all-gender bathrooms doesnt make things better.

    My friend and I went here on a Pulsd deal for brunch for 2 with unlimited brunch cocktails for 90 minutes. The food was really good - I got the eggs with toast (I forget the original name), and my friend got the salmon Bagel. Both were really good, and the drinks were reasonably strong. The view was amazing - from my table, we could see the New Years ball over Times Square

    One beautiful and fantastic venue I got to experience for the first time thanks to the closing night after party for the 2021 NYC South Asian Film Festival.Gorgeous ambiance, well spaced out, comfortable seating areas with couches, great bar service and food, and just an overall epic atmosphere to have a party in!Superb way to enjoy views of the city at night

    One of my favorite rooftops in Manhattan. So classy with an old school retro chic feel. It has a view of the edge at Hudson yards and the famous ball in times sq. The lights throughout make it feel magical. Its a beautiful place with a great ambience decor and music. The staff is wonderful and Christian the manager is always very friendly, makes you feel so welcomed every time. Their always changing cocktail menu is superb and I highly recommend the Apple orchard with mezcal or the painkiller.

    Overall I thought Elsie’s rooftop was a good happy hour place with a nice bar.The atmosphere: was a cool modern bar. What makes it is the rooftop, but they have limited views of the skyline.The staff: were all friendly however I’d say service at the table was slow.The food: tasted quite good, but portions were on the small side.

    Zara was AMAZING!! We made a very easy reservation 10 minutes early, we arrived at the place and were welcomed, our server Zara did an amazing job. The manager and all the staff have a very friendly attitude. The cocktails were good even though the menu is small. Highly recommended.

    Elsies has everything you would want when you visit a New York city rooftop. Beautiful views of Manhattan, indoor and outdoor seating thats beautifully decorated. The food and cocktails are delicious. The doormen, hostess and servers were all fun and friendly the staff is top tier. I highly recommend this rooftop, its a great spot to get together with a few friends, a group of friends, celebrations, or a nice date. The vibe is high energy and super fun. The atmosphere is really inviting and comfortable. Its social media picture worthy, I personally was having too much fun to to take photos. I highly recommend making reservations in advance, they are really busy.

    As is with any New York City rooftop; the ambiance and novelty of it is always a wonderful experience. Ill try the cocktails they are known for next. I wanted the one with the cotton candy. Ill try it next time. The mojito was subpar. They had entertainment; a singer by the name of Carla- G. She was Awesome !!! I ate b4 hand. I cant speak on food till my next visit.

    Very good rooftop lounge. You will have good views especially during the sunset time. A little expensive but it is definitely worth if you are going there on Wednesdays. You can see Anra playing Saxophone to some of your favorite songs. I would suggest this place if you are planning to meet your friends for a couple of drinks in the evening.

    My husband and I just had 1 drink here, wasn’t very busy so got a seat inside as it was getting chilli outside, lucky we had cash as my husbands card got declined as you needed to sign for it and his card is just tapping and they didn’t take Apple Pay either.

    We had an amazing time here! Cute ambience to go with your girls. The music was diverse. The guac and chips were delish! The sliders were yummy. The manager Jackie was attentive and had us try the tasty green tea shot. She even made the experience better by bringing out sparklers! So cute! I will be back again!

    Elsie Rooftop - solid rooftop option. The service wasnt always the best and the crowd tends to not be as fun as at other rooftops (you know every club or rooftop just has certain attention). In short, its a great place to grab drinks with a friend and hang and people watch a bit, but not for meeting and impromptu dancing (there is dancing that breaks out, its just not something that gets the people there going).

    First night in NYC and had the privilege to experience this rooftop and Man oh man! Hands down one of my favorite and unforgettable nights I had here. The atmosphere was so up beat, Beautiful scenery and outstanding drinks. If you have the chance to meet Jackie, you’re in for a treat! If it wasn’t for her hospitality and beautiful soul things wouldn’t be as wonderful! I really appreciate her and her team that I just had to give her a hug because I was blown away with such great service.I’ll be back and for sure recommend this place to first timers to NYC. Thank you Elsie rooftop you have won a lil piece of my heart. ♥️FYI I never write reviews to anything but by all honestly I had to for this place they deserve 100🌟 I had to share this amazing experience and hopefully people can enjoy as mush as I did.     Came for the ambiance, stayed for the hospitality. We came in on a Thursday night and we’re treated like queens thanks to Jackie. We flew from FL to be in NYC for the weekend and had such high expectations for Elsie - Jackie and her team BLEW away those expectations. We are definitely telling all of our friends (local and non-local). Thank you so much for the hospitality, NYC is definitely back.

    I arranged a birthday party here for my husband’s 40th birthday and it was an awesome experience! Everything from the views, music, food, vibe and most of all service was excellent. Dee Sharma—the manager, went above and beyond to make the night amazing for us—he is a gem of a person and really takes care of his guests. He made sure the party was just how I imagined it. I highly recommend this spot!

    I had a great time at Elsie’s!I brought a client to have a good time and grab some drinks after a meeting and they had a fantastic time. The Thai chicken kebabs are amazing & Nikki was so attentive & knowledgeable of different spirits. My client was impressed by the service and attention to detail. The venues ambiance also helped, a tad bit noisy but so beautiful. Definitely will be bringing other clients when we’re in the area & hopefully Nikki is around to show us all a good time once again.

    Such a cute place for a quick snack and dri k before a show. Complimentary photo with the option to purchase framed photos from a lady wandering the tables. Complimentary salsa dance classes at a certain time. We went on a Friday night , not sure what other times they do it. We tried a couple of cocktails; all were amazing.

    We were so fortunate to find this fantastic venue just a minute’s walk from our hotel. A beautiful oasis high above the city. Views forever from every side. We were warmly greeted by Jasmine, our hostess, who gave us great input about the crafted cocktails. She also kindly shared the best spots for the views….the ball above Times Square, the Edge, the Empire State Building. Service was excellent…food was perfect. Chicken Skewers moist and flavorful….the sauce was soooo good. We opted for Margarita flatbread with pepperoni added. Absolutely great! There are a variety of areas to sit….welcoming and magical with tiny white lights. We will definitely be back. Oh yes, be sure to have a celebratory “shot” with Kevin before you head out.😉

    The food, atmosphere and service were great. Nicole was an amazing waitress. She was very attentive and is definitely the life of the party haha. I will be going back and asking for her.     Cool, airy, high end club thats not stuffy and the staff is very accommodating... Nice views of the city skyline from a spacious open porch. You can even see the new skydeck at Hudson yards from it.

    Anna is a great waitress! Elsie Rooftop’s atmosphere is amazing. Seriously do not miss out on this place. Make sure to make reservations! Also, I would highly recommend their appetizers!     This place is so cute! I picked it from a random list of rooftop bars near Bryant Park and Im so happy we came. The vibe is chill and the service is great. Even the bouncer was super polite haha.     My friend and I were bar hopping and stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night just trying to find a rooftop close by to enjoy a few drinks before we moved on to the next….but we never left. Elsies did NOT disappoint. The hostess and our waitress were very friendly. Tasty drinks and really good vibes with a perfect atmosphere. Jackie the manager was AWESOME and truly went out of her way to make our night enjoyable!! She showed us to the back of the rooftop where there was a lot more space, a DJ playing excellent music where we danced all night and introduced us to the bartender and waitress Branka who undoubtedly made us feel welcomed. The hospitality was unreal and we will definitely be coming back!!

    I came to Elsie for an after work birthday happy hour and it was nothing but fantastic. We didn’t have a reservation and were seated immediately … the chic wait staff was kind and efficient. The cocktails were top notch. Order some snacks and it’ll make any night complete … then later on the view of New York … and it’ll be a chef’s kiss of a night! Bravo! Cheers!

On top of that, the drinks are incredible and the staff is even better, especially Jackie. She is the general manager and she is the sweetest person. From someone who just moved into the city, she was exactly what I needed to make me feel like I’m home. Please go!

    Very nice rooftop. the service was great, the waiting staff was very kind. The music was the best part. Giving it 4 stars because each cocktail was $19 and they were not strong. I was hoping it would be a little stronger given the price. Didn’t get to try the food, but overall I would go again for the rooftop and music.

    Ordered the lamb sliders and hummus plates. The lamb sliders were delicious. The hummus was somewhat flavorless, but the plate was good overall. Service was excellent, but the music was a bit overpowering and not conducive to conversation unless you really enjoy yelling at people. 😉

    I spent a great Valentine’s night with a couple of close friends at Elsie. The views, vibe, and cocktails at Elsie cannot be beat. I was a bit apprehensive when I made the reservation on OpenTable, as the minimum spending requirement for Valentine’s Day seemed a bit steep. However, considering that drinks are $20 a piece, and considering that it was Valentine’s Day, it wasn’t a bad deal and the minimum was easy to reach after a few rounds of cocktails and some appetizers. As always, the service was great, the music and mood ideal, and the fabulous cocktails on point. Will definitely be back for date night or girls night out soon!

    Elsie is a diamond in the heart of midtown. Vibrant, classy, and totally fun vibes. Love the outdoor rooftop that overlooks the city. The chicken satay skewers are amazing. Adrian the bartender kept our glasses full all night and Jackie the manager made sure we were okay as well. Can’t recommend this place enough.

    You have to be detailed to security in lobby to enter and they provide the access up to ensure safety. Awesome view and the staff is very accommodating. Multiple restrooms and if you feel up to the challenge, you can always walk down the 25 flights to street level when tou are done having a great time. They cater private events and nothing like a cigar outdoors to cap a night.

    Went back in April with a friend. The wait was short, food was delicious, especially the charcuterie—they could have done a board with just the saltier cheese and we would’ve been happy. They could have done without the cantaloupe as it felt like an afterthought. Everything else was okay, but the service left something to be desired. Us and a Latinx family seated diagonally from us were the only people of color in the restaurant and the only people whose cards were taken from them prior to eating. Did not appreciate that, especially with the long wait time and inattentive server. The dress code for employees didn’t really match the aesthetic of the interior of the restaurant. The outfits were ‘clubby’ (and this is coming from a 21 year old) and reminiscent of what an Applebees waitress would wear. Otherwise, the restaurant was beautiful. The rooftop was cold but the inside was a bit warmer and both were great for pictures.

    This was the venue for the Black Women Talk Tech conference investor reception, and a great one! The bar is set up such that its easy to get a change of scenery by walking through to the other rooms. I appreciated that, though it was a chilly evening, with temperatures in the low 30s, it was easy to have an indoor-outdoor vibe for the event, thanks to the panoramic windows in the lounge area behind the main bar. The bartenders were for the most part sweet, and were managing efficiently despite a sizable crowd and open bar, and the staff at entrance was sweet and accommodating. Id certainly return, whether to host an event, or for a more casual time, enjoying a cocktail and a view.

    Fun time and a pleasant setting in midtown/shmata district. The hostess, Ebony, was a pleasure to speak with and all the staff were professional and courteous.Our group was a mix of people relaxing, enjoying the view and comraderie but also some intent on networking and talking shop, splitting off into shards and discussions of potential collisions. Certainly unwieldy for the staff but organizing this crew would be like herding cats.The belly dancers providing entertainment was a surprise bonus.

    Great rooftop bar in the midtown area, walkable from Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central and Penn Station. It was raining so I didnt get the full effect of being outside but the retractable roof is really nice. The guacamole was delicious and while I didnt order a drink, my friends enjoyed theirs.
