    My twin and I had our 70th birthday here and all the staff were wonderful they even sang happy birthday to us. We both had the house special and it was beautifully cooked. Albert the waiter checked regularly with us about our meal. Will stay here again. Thank you x

    I recently celebrated at Empire Steak House, and it was an incredible experience! Albert, the GM, truly went above and beyond. He surprised us with custom wine glasses and treated us to delicious espresso shots that were the perfect touch.The food was outstanding—both the steak and the lobster pasta were cooked to perfection, and the cheesecake was the cherry on top of a fantastic meal. The ambiance and music added to the evening, making it a memorable celebration. I cant recommend Empire Steak House enough for anyone looking to enjoy a special night out!

    Brought my wife for her birthday today and if i can do this again tomorrow and after that i will. The service was amazing very impressive our waiters Ben and Al were always there on call and the manger albert was very welcoming and even gave us a free drink for her birthday maybe you will get lucky to and the food was so savory we had the wagyu steak for two so flavorful and melts in your mouth our sides were mash potatoes and mac and cheese was very good too.We added the Shrimp scampi and i didnt regret it not once. You can come here and know youll get your money worth. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

    I stopped by for drinks while waiting for my sister to arrive. We were having a staycation at the Hilton next door. The bartenders are very friendly n courteous.I sat at the bar n I had a tall glass of Prosecco to start. It was so perfectly chilled it was so refreshing! I never had it like that! I did get served home made potato chips, so crispy. Then since my sis was running late I had a glass of Aperol spritz. Served in a beautiful “E” logo glass. Presentation makes the drink even taste better. I did notice a huge selection of top short tequilas, whiskeys, cognacs even Louis XIII.

    Rarely do I have such a great experience at a restaurant in this area, I was skeptical at first but it was restaurant week, and great company.Food:Everything was delicious! The table bread was fresh and delicious, crispy on the outside bready on the inside.The calamari was crunchy, good portion, great presentation.The strip steak was delicious! We all ordered different temperatures and each was perfect. The steak was tender, and flavorful. The presentation was great as well. The mash potatoes were creamy and flavorful.Tiramisu was delicious, perfect balance of flavors and textures and smooth whipped cream.Cocktails:I am not a cocktail person, but everyone’s cocktails looked so delicious and pretty, I wanted one. We did have a green tea shot at the end. The shot was well balanced with citrus notes, some bitterness, and sweetness that fonplimented the dessert.Service:Albert and Albert (should be the name of a band, lol) we’re very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the food, wine and drinks.Atmosphere:It was a trendy casual place with large wine bottle accents. To be honest, it was little hot by the bar, but really comfortable inside.So if you want a nice diner in that area, I recommend this place.

    It was my first time here and they were all so nice and attentive. The espresso martinis were so good!!! My boyfriend had a amaretto sour and he also loved it!!! Such a wonderful time and despite them being busy all the drinks came out pretty quick along w the food.

    Upon entering, my family and I were welcomed to this dining experience with open arms. The service was absolutely spectacular, our waiter Ben was fantastic and a shining emblem of hospitality. As we dined, the atmosphere bolstered our warm feelings and induced comforting energy into the room. The food was an excellent display of culinary mastery. My petit filet was incredible, every bite reflected a refining taste. Would recommend to anyone interested in experiencing a culinary experience to remember.

    We came here because it was right next-door to our hotel for dinner and ended up having a special menu for Father’s Day, which ended up being amazing deal. The food was fantastic.     My wife and I dined at Empire Steak House West on Tuesday, 17 December. We arrived early and had a cocktail at the bar prior to being seated right on time. We talked with our server and mentioned that we were there for your pre-theater Prix Fixe dinner. He informed us that the Prix Fixe program did not begin until January. We were disappointed, but were prepared to continue with dinner. Mr. Albert S. the restaurant general manager, stopped by our table and asked how our evening was going so far. I mentioned to him that we had anticipated to enjoy the Pre-Theater Prix Fixe dinner, as was described on multiple web sites and Open Table (which we used to book the table). Mr. S. was very understanding, cancelled our already submitted dinner orders, had our server bring us the Prix Fixe dinner menu, and allowed us to order off that menu. He also returned several times during ur meal to ensure everything meeting our expectations. Mr. S. went above and beyond the call of duty. He personally made what could have been a good, but slightly disappointing experience, into a truly outstanding dining experience. This restaurant will be one of my highly recommended locations for family and friends visiting New York City. Great service, great food, great atmosphere.

    We had christmas special menu. Great filet mignon and lamb rack. Cheesecake was delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food and drinks arrived within 10 minutes when we ate around 4pm. Staff didnt rush us. Great if you are willing to spend for someone special.

    This is our first time dining at Empire and the service was really great. The steak was cooked to perfection and was flavorful. They have no half stars so we gave it a four instead of five because of the side dishes. Though the sautéed spinach was really good, the Mac and Cheese tasted straight out of a box and the lobster bisque tasted like tomato soup. The staff was so nice and we would definitely come back. The limoncello at the end was clutch.

    This is a awesome restaurant and I love the experience.I came in tonight alone, sit in the bar decide to indulge myself and ordered the 12 oz Japanese waygu beef - 320 for 12 oz- definitely not cheap! But the steak was perfected cooked and one of the next I ever had!The service was outstanding as well. The manager came to talk to me a few times to check on me and at the end to my surprise, give me a compliment port wine on the house.Love this place and highly recommend!

    I Visited this restaurant after multiple emails where they were advertising themselves and I must say I was very pleased with my visit. I loved that the restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was amazing our waiter was very kind very patient overall just very aware. The food was delicious well cooked and seasoned. They also had a promotion at the time and while I didn’t partake my boyfriend did and he was very pleased as well. I would definitely be returning. I will say that I was not pleased at the fact that I was bitten multiple times by mosquitoes while I was sitting indoors. However, aside from that I was very pleased with how everything else went.

    We dined for restaurant week and enjoyed our meals. Portions were great for the price this year. My drink was also really good. Wasnt too thrilled that dessert was not included, bringing your typical 3 course prefixed menu down to 2, with dessert as an additional charge. The atmosphere is your typical steakhouse, a bit dark. Our server was great despite it looking like he was the only one waiting on many tables. Understandably, staff is short among many NYC restaurants during the pandemic. Overall a great experience.

    We had a delightful meal here, so much so that we came back a second night. Our server, Lira, was excellent and quite personable.     With all the great restaurants in NYC it’s tough not to keep trying different ones when we visit from NC. One exception.. Empire Midtown West. As mentioned you can get a great meal in a beautiful setting but you can’t find better service and friendliness than Empire. Our appetizer, main course and cocktails were perfect but the star of the evening was the entire staff… attentive, engaging, helpful and professional. As we left, every single staff member including the bar staff said “thank you” to us. What a wonderful evening all thanks to the outstanding staff! So.. thank you!!

    Already ate here 3 times in a week!! Great place to drink and dine in midtown Manhattan. Super friendly staff and great food. Start your time with bread and butter with house chips, don’t forget the green salad, lobster ravioli and sea bass. Wash it down with Old Fashioned. Definitely coming back.

    We had the pleasure of dining at Empire on 54th tonight and it was without a doubt one of the best meals we have had. For starters we had the caesar salad and oysters and for main course we had the petit fillet mignon and bone in ribeye, sides of mashed potato, mushrooms and fries. Everything was delicious, the steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was fantastic. Both steaks had the most amazing crust yet were incredibly juicy and tender inside and the empire sauce was the perfect condiment for them. We were so well looked after by our waiter and the manager of the restaurant was so attentive and helpful. All in all an absolutely fantastic meal and we cannot wait to visit again.     Exceptional service and spectacular food. Both the wait staff and manager were extremely attentive making sure everything was prepared to our liking. All of the food was cooked perfectly and paired well with the managers choice of Chardonnay. I look forward to dining here again.

    Went here for July 2018 Restaurant Week. It was nice to get a sampling of their steak and other foods as it was my first time dining at Empire. I chose the fillet mignon, starting off with a strip of thick cut Canadian bacon. Both were really good, and cooked perfectly. The bacon had great texture around the crispy edges. The steak had solid flavor. Not the best, but overall good and for restaurant week prices very worth it. My partner had fried calamari and the salmon. Again, very good. The calamari wasnt too breaded so you could actually taste the squid. The salmon had a perfect balance of a crispy outer texture that once you bit through would melt in your mouth. Our desserts of choice, cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake, were both fantastic. Perfect finishes to a very good meal.

    This was our anticipated dinner date for the night. On the whole everything was just OK. Our waitress was great and helpful but the food was a little lackluster. We did appreciate the relaxed dress code due to walking the city all day prior to dinner. The oysters were alright. They had Long Island oysters which lacked a salty, brined profile that I look for in oysters. The chocolate lava cake was a little dry but the crème brûlée was spot on. The steak was good but lacked flavor. We were given the option of a table or a window seat at the bar and we chose the latter. The atmosphere and ambiance was nice but the food disappointed.

    My boyfriend and I are visiting from Atlanta, my first trip, he’s been coming since he was a child. We were recommended to eat at Empire by a couple that resides at the hotel we are staying in. We made a reservation and our server Alvaro provided excellent service! Our waters, wine, or plates were never empty!We got the Filet for two(medium rare), creamed spinach, and sautéed broccoli.The steak… I could cut it with my spoon it was so tender and juicy, I know because I did it! The sear on the outside was the perfect crunch.The sides were amazing as well! We dipped the broccoli in the oil/juices from the steak and it was a wonderful blend.We had to rush our dinner to get to Lion King and decided to come back after the show because there was a cocktail on the menu, Pomegranate martini, I didn’t get to try. Another double thumbs up for the the martini and the smoked old fashioned my boyfriend was served.We have plenty of left overs for lunch tomorrow and we are so excited!Thank you Empire for a wonderful evening during my first visit to New York !

    10/10 i would definitely come back. the atmosphere was amazing, service was great. the overall food (mixed green salad, branzino, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese) so delicious!! our server and manager here were very nice and polite. they even offered us a complimentary drink.

    Wonderful dining experience. Had drinks in the bar before dinner. The server in the bar area was friendly and fast. We had a small child with us and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Dinner was excellent! Everything we ordered was delicious and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Our sever was attentive and the manger Albert was very friendly and checked on our table multiple times. Overall a very pleasant evening and we will definitely be back.

    The prices are high.But it is because its set up to feed multiple people.Example: Sirloin Steak120.00 Dollars. Steak is 44oz.13.50 cream spinach is a big bowl. EccetraFood is So Good... A+Sorry for photos we got the Filet Mignon which wasnt the normal but a full peace and cut into Filets at table...OMG So Good...

    Excellent experience!! The steak was great! That is most important. The sides (creamed spinach, steak fries) and soup (French onion) were very good as well. The service was impeccable.I highly recommend this place and would love to return.

    Best steakhouse weve been too! This was an experience, not just dinner. Our gracious host Basmir stopped by our table a few times during the meal making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Our waiter Ben couldnt have been attentive! Steaks were presented wonderfully and were delicious. We werent rushed, it was a great experience!!

    Ive been to empire steakhouse several times over the years, it gets better every time.This last trip though, absolutely knocked it out of the park. Fantastic steaks and some of the best service Ive had in years.A friend had a birthday, and they took amazing care of her. Drinks were top notch, dessert was perfect. Honestly one of my top restaurant experiences this year.

    Recently I visited New York and I went for a dinner with my family at Empire Steak House and I had such a great experience that I had to leave a review here.The food was delicious and the service was great, I got served by such a helpful server called Albert and he was the best at the job that he did .10 out of 10 and would definitely visit again soon.
