I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, they have some great healthy options at fairly reasonable prices, on the other, what is up with that laptop policy???? The staff can be nice, but I’ve also been here on days where they were really rude. They have some great drinks, and I really like the chicken spinach feta wrap. The chicken is nice and juicy, and the spinach adds a kind of soft element to the sandwich which is really nice. I wish there was more feta in the wrap because it isn’t an overwhelming flavor so it’s not that present in the wrap. I would come here more often if it weren’t for the fact that a cafés main purpose is to work at. The bagels here are also kind of overpriced. -

The first snow falls this year. The weather is cold. I miss warm soup. Such is the atmosphere of this cafe. A place that comes to mind when you want to warm up in cold weather. The friendly staff and simple but not neglectful food. This brunch cafe is highly recommended to those visiting Jackson Heights. I ordered the soup of the day and grilled cheese sandwich combo. A simple salad is also served. I was very satisfied with the mushroom-flavored soup and the cheese sandwich with tomatoes. But above all, lets not forget that the coffee is as delicious as the name of this cafe, right? -

Great local spot for coffee, pastries, wine, food, art and live music! Always great staff and good vibes there. It’s a neighborhood gem. -
Review 4 (2022-06-26 - Rating: 5)
Went for drinks/snacks with a friend on a Thursday night and it was absolutely lovely. Ordered a slice of carrot cake, it was moist and not overly sweet. We ordered a charcuterie board which was loaded with more than enough cheese, meats, nuts and fruit for 2 people. The person who took our order at the cash register was very helpful and helped us decide on a glass of white wine wed both like (it was absolutely delicious). And we both ordered frosés afterwards and it was also delicious. The atmosphere was great, restaurant is beautiful, and excellent service. Would definitely come back! -

Ive been here twice and it has been a nice experience. I was a bit disappointed that some of their options are prepackaged, and therefore, you can not customize your order. So if u want no cheese, u will have to take it off yourself. Also, you can not order extras like a fried egg... 😔 for one of your platters. The staff is very friendly, and the vibe is really nice. As far as the food, it is a hit or miss with some of the items. The gluten-free muffin was dry and not very sweet. The salmon platter with avocado, which is not on the menu, is delicious. The oatmeal was in desperate need of extra boiling water. Some of it was still sort of dry when they served it. The soups are pretty good. Last but not least, their drinks are pretty delicious 😋 -

Solid neighborhood spot. Coffee, baked goods, hot items and wines in a laid back space. Good amount of outdoor seating as well. -
Review 7 (2022-09-12 - Rating: 5)
The breakfast wrap was especially delicious. The honey bee latte was a bit on a sweeter side but nice too. -
Review 8 (2022-12-31 - Rating: 5)
A pretty local cozy corner. Food has very high quality. Coffee items are as they should be. Bagel quality is perfect. -
Review 9 (2022-07-29 - Rating: 5)
Great atmosphere. The staff is the best and variety and quality on the drinks! Overall 10/10 experience -
Review 10 (2021-12-28 - Rating: 4)
Bagels are tasty and fresh, the lattes too. the customer service i find is a hit or miss. my only complaint is that a few of the times I have stopped by, the cashiers seemed to be annoyed/unwelcoming when Im simply just placing an order.. -
Review 11 (2019-05-28 - Rating: 5)
Love this place! Go there a lot because the food is great and the staff are nice. Nice place to hang out in. -
Review 12 (2017-02-11 - Rating: 4)
The space is quite large and welcoming and it has a wide array of offerings which makes it great as an all-purpose stop. however, as someone whos into coffee and coffee brewing it was lacklustre and didnt have any unique coffee offerings. -
Review 13 (2024-05-20 - Rating: 5)
Ive been here at my worst and my best, five-star cafe and they are still cool. I have been coming here for a few years now and my favorite spot to draw and get schoolwork done. Cool staff and friendly atmosphere. -
Review 14 (2024-03-21 - Rating: 5)
This is a favorite local coffee shop. They have live music, they sell art and merchandise from local artists and the atmosphere is so cozy..I rarely eat here but last night I had a Pastrami sandwich and it was great. The Prosecco and the cocktails are great also. Best part - there is an outdoor area. -
Review 15 (2024-05-30 - Rating: 5)
Passing through with a friend and needed a pick me up so we just bought a small cup of Jo and an espresso shot... I loved the cool atmosphere and would definitely return. Coffee was great!! -
Review 16 (2023-10-25 - Rating: 5)
Neighborhood cafe serving breakfast and an ok variety of other dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive and doesnt rush you. The owner seems to know a lot of the regulars and sits with them at times. Trio band plays on the weekend. One can buy the paintings adorning the walls. The cafe is very welcoming and solo guest friendly. Theres also an outside covered area. -

Lavender latte which i ordered was a bomb . A must try in jackson heights -
Review 18 (2023-08-14 - Rating: 4)
Lovely coffee however there is a strange rule that you cannot work on your laptop on the side tables. We were told that we could only have our laptops open to work on them if we were sitting at the big table in the centre. (which by the way has no outlets)Sort of defeats the purpose of being a friendly coffee shop as a lot of people I know go to places like this to get some quiet work time. Great books have been written at coffee shops, perhaps this is something the management could reconsider?Food for thoughts ... :) -
Review 19 (2023-10-25 - Rating: 5)
If I walk around this neighborhood, this is an always go coffee spot. It has a great atmosphere, a wide variety of coffee and food selection. They even serve wine. Theres a big outdoor patio as well. The baristas are friendly and helpful. I ordered cappuccino at this time it was delicious, creamy and hot. They have free Wi-Fi, but unfortunately, there are no power outlets. -
Review 20 (2023-07-11 - Rating: 4)
Plain and simple review:This coffee shop feels like a museum. There’s so many rules!!There are no plugs for computer sadly 🥲So if you running out of juice better luck running to the next shop. They have live music on weekends or on selective days.Thier food menu is to die for. I recommend the “Tuna Melt” and if you want something to drink “the honeybee” is pretty good! The coffee shop also serves alcohol 🍺🍷 -

Came to Expresso 77 Saturday night to see my friend Jon Christopher Allen perform in this quaint and comfy coffee shoppe…that is way more than coffee! A wall of windows that bring the outdoor in. The weather was great. The folks are friendly. An overall good time.Posting this review to share my experience and boost local businesses that survived the pandemic and still serve the community. -
Review 22 (2024-02-12 - Rating: 5)

Review 24 (2024-01-02 - Rating: 5)
Great local cafe with cozy vibes. Coffee and pastries are delicious. I also recommend their quiche. It seems to also be a popular place for working remotely and reading. -
Review 25 (2024-11-17 - Rating: 5)
Lovely, cozy spot to listen to live music. My friends had hot drinks but I enjoyed a cocktail thats basically prosecco sangria and it was delicious! -
Review 26 (2023-11-07 - Rating: 5)
I enjoy the cool atmosphere , love the colors and the coffee is good . I’m glad they have a laptop policy since many coffee shops I’ve been to have people taking up seats for hours with no food no coffee and if I want to sit and have coffee and food I can’t because all the space is taken up by those who turn the coffee shop into their office .Thanks -
Review 27 (2024-07-28 - Rating: 5)
Delightful for a morning coffee or an evening beverage with some live music on a Friday. -
Review 28 (2022-09-21 - Rating: 4)
Really nice café! Quiet and nice ambiance.Friendly staff.Perfect for remote work. I gave it 4 stars because there is a laptop policy. You can only sit on the middle table, but there are no powerplugs. For the cyclists: they have a bike rack in front🎉 -

Third Review :We ordered Chicken ,Spina ch & Feta and the Curry Salad on Whole Wheat Bread . Also ordered a Latte and a House Blend coffee . We tend to order all those each time we come .They are so delicious !Had a wonderful experience again with the staff who were here today Their names are Augusto, Silvia, Jaime and Dafne . They are keepers !Cant wait to come back here again !Second Review :We have been here so many times . Each time we are so happy and satisfied . The decor is very , very lovely and comfortable. There is no such other place like this in Jackson Heights . We feel like we are in a European country , Our drinks and meals are always fresh and delicious .The staff here is always great . Today we were helped by Rodney and Roberto . . These guys are awesome ! Thank goodness they work here .Have to compliment Afzal , the artistic owner . He makes sure this restaurant is perfect in every way and then some .First Review ;We ate outdoors and were very , very comfortable .We truly loved our meal and had a great experience here. Chloe, Pearl and Izabel ( not sure if I spelled her name correctly ) are jewels . We will definitely return . . -
Review 31 (2022-12-06 - Rating: 5)
I love this little cafe and I visit it often. The one complaint I have is that the prices are very high, especially for the food. The portions are not large. There are cafes nearby that -- granted -- do not have the same atmosphere but the prices are still much lower. The $7 minimum on cards is also a bummer but I have learned to live with it. -
Review 32 (2024-09-09 - Rating: 5)
Rosé cider is sooo good!Thank you Agosto!!! -
Review 33 (2023-01-16 - Rating: 5)

Review 34 (2018-05-31 - Rating: 5)
Always friendly, and they serve good coffee. Not too cool to bring young kids to. Good luck finding a seat, though.Edit: now the place is much bigger. Hooray! Beer and wine selections are limited but clearly curated and tasty. The food is great, especially for brunch. Definitely a standout place. -
Review 35 (2021-06-24 - Rating: 4)
This place has a great variety of food, but I think it has so much untapped menu potential. Could offer some healthier, less sugary beverages, and organic/grass fed milk, etc. Ambiance is awesome with outdoor dining options. Inside is nice too. I do think service/pleasantries could be improved. -
Review 36 (2024-11-24 - Rating: 5)
10/10 coffee 10/10 vibe . Probably my favourite spot -
Review 37 (2020-09-14 - Rating: 5)

Review 39 (2019-10-06 - Rating: 5)
This is a cool local coffee spot that I’ve been going to before they expanded the space. I like that they pour my hot coffee / mocha in a regular mug when dining in as opposed to automatically pouring into a disposable cup.Note: I don’t order the sandwiches nor do I bring a laptop to do work. I’d rather enjoy my hot drink with dessert and read a book at a cozy spot. -
Review 40 (2020-07-27 - Rating: 5)
Nice place for healthy food and drinks too -
Review 41 (2023-06-03 - Rating: 5)
If you’re in the Jackson Heights area, I highly recommend visiting Espresso 77. If you’re a coffee lover like I am their Honeybee latte is amazing! Big shout out to Daniel and the entire team. Cheers! -
Review 42 (2018-08-31 - Rating: 5)
I decided to try the curry chicken salad on whole wheat bread. So good! It was not what I was expecting. The thinly sliced green apple and dried cranberries paired harmoniously with the curry chicken. Yummy! The service is quite fast and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick healthy breakfast or even some fresh coffee. -
Review 43 (2018-06-20 - Rating: 5)
This place is AWESOME! I’m very picky about espresso, and the café latte here transported me back to my summer in Italy (in other words, it was excellent). The selection of pastries is great, I’m partial to the pistachio cardamom loaf and the gluten free chocolate cake. The owner is great with customers and is always trying to make sure the customers have a great time there. -
Review 44 (2019-12-07 - Rating: 5)
I have been visiting Espresso 77 for a while now; At least before it expanded to the space next door. Staff is friendly.Even though the drinks and food may be pricy, you’re paying for the environment. Chill music, calm lighting, etc. I also want to point out that I was never asked to leave after staying for hours just drinking with friends.Super welcoming and I wish this cafe the best. -
Review 45 (2019-08-30 - Rating: 5)
I been coming here for a long time when they were just a hole in the wall coffee place. The staff is always friendly and the owner makes you feel at home. They have some really good coffee here!! The best part about them is they support local artists. -
Review 46 (2020-11-22 - Rating: 5)
The cheese platter was awesome, and the latte was really delicious. Will definitely return, and for the cold nights, they have the those warming laterns that you can turn on and off on your own. -
Review 47 (2018-04-17 - Rating: 4)
Good coffee, good beer, great German pretzel. A little pricey. The Cheese and Charcuterie plate was $25, but could have had some more cheese and sausage, or could have been $20 or so. Seemed like about $10 worth of cold cuts. Could do without the dried fruit in favor of some fresh grapes, but you may prefer the dried variety. Beer is about $8, wine about $9 or $10, saw some patrons with bottles of wine but didnt see a price list for bottles. Entertainment was with different musicians than were listed on their calendar, but were very entertaining nonetheless. Friendly crowd mostly from the neighborhood along with friends of the musicians and other musicians. Decor is currently highlighted by prints from two local artists and gives off the proper coffee house vibe. If you long for the early Village flavor, youll get a hint of it here. -
Review 48 (2009-07-29 - Rating: 4)
I met someone there for an interview. It was a little crowded when I arrived so I waited on the benches in the front for awhile. As I was waiting, the owner came out and spoke with me for awhile and was very friendly. He seemed fine with us sitting at a table and talking for a couple hours and said good bye warmly as we left, being sure to call us by name. The raspberry iced tea I had was great and it didnt seem overpriced at all! -
Review 49 (2019-04-12 - Rating: 5)
Espresso 77 is a well known coffee shop here in Jackson Heights. The service is friendly, polite, fast. The kitchen produces some, fresh, delicious dishes. The espresso is fantastic, full bodied, it has so many flavor profiles, it is almost unbelievable. The one thing I also love, is the atmosphere. Outside is so noise and crowded, but once you step in, everything changes. -

Review 53 (2018-11-26 - Rating: 4)
Charming cafe in Jackson Heights... Delicious food and coffee drinks. Fun atmosphere.. but if you are looking to get work done dont come on the weekends as they have a no screen policy. Nice decor, and clean bathroom, albeit festooned with a rather odd portrait of a young man with real beard hair glued to his face... A must see! Nevertheless, this place is very nice, moderately priced and always keeps me enticed because coffee is my vice. -
Review 54 (2017-09-05 - Rating: 5)
I love this place---delicious coffee, pretty space, good neighborhood vibe. And I especially like the nice way that the proprietors deal with the inevitable rude customer who thinks the neighborhood coffee shop is their home office; they are so tactful and look out for the rest of us. e77.4eva! -

Review 58 (2022-07-06 - Rating: 4)
Got the small iced ginger chai latte for $4 (pre tax) which is a good price! Only issue with the ginger chai was that it tasted more like sweetened cinnamon milk and didn’t have as much of a spice taste like typical chai. It still tasted good though so it’s up to your preference on how you like your chai. Also, the ginger chai had tiny flakes of ginger that were noticeable when sipping. Inside had a great calm & friendly ambiance! -
Review 59 (2017-06-26 - Rating: 4)
Neighborhoody Cafe, with coffee done right. Very chill atmosphere. They have food but its pretty mediocre. French toast is good. They have local Queens beer on tap. Its a nice place but sometimes I feel the place is a HQ for the newly arrived gentrifiers. -
Review 60 (2018-12-16 - Rating: 5)
Excellent food, small plates, hand crafted drinks, wine and beer. Friendly, speedy service. Showcase for local talent with monthly art openings and weekly live music. Favorite neighborhood hang. The owners are lovely and foster a welcoming community. A hub for Jackson Heights for creative conversations and meetups. Convenient to major transportation. -

Review 63 (2020-02-08 - Rating: 5)
Cute cafe with lots of choices for espresso based drinks and others. I love how they serve drinks to stay in ceramic cups & mugs (instead of single use/ paper). Their chai latte was not too sweet and was comforting. -
Review 64 (2019-05-26 - Rating: 5)
I think this is a place to be. I love it.today I didnt have such a good experience. These women moved the outside bench to the middle of theblock. Sometimes people forget this is a peaceful community. We do not like when you come to impose your ways. Respect elders passing by. -

Iced Chai Latte is good. The ambient is welcoming. Nice Tame Impala tunes in the background. Recommend you come here to have a pleasant conversation and catch up with a friend, coworker, or client over a meal and beverage. I have not tried the food yet but many options for sandwiches and wraps are available. Outdoor seating is a plus. Daniel made me feel welcome. -

Good, strong coffee! Hot or iced, I love their drinks. Good pastries and breakfast choices too. I think their open space wins peoples hearts- large windows, comfy seating, and rotating artwork! They are pretty strict with their laptop policies- only the middle table for laptops and I believe weekends are laptop free.Kid friendly. -
Review 81 (2022-04-27 - Rating: 5)

This is the best place in the neighborhood to work and meet folks. You cant work on a screen weekends and laptops are limited to a long table. No plugs available. Music is good. Staff is nice. On evenings, there is often a performance which can be nice but impossible to chat with a friend. -

Simple and cute cafe. Customer service was great and they have a pretty big menu with their specialties, teas, coffees, food and pastries! I ordered an iced cortado and the barista looked like he enjoyed what he was doing. They also have Queens merch! Sweaters and tees I bought a crewneck and was able to sit down for a bit and read my book. -
