    I really enjoy dining in the restaurant. It is a great place to mingle with friends. This is a very solid restaurant offering Italian food. Pasta and appetizer is nicely made. Like many restaurant the dessert can’t make me to give them a 5 stars.

    Superb Italian restaurant within walking distance of Wall Street. Beautiful, expansive ambiance. Attentive and professional wait staff. The peppers added a level of spice to the usual bread table starters. Calamari and herbed potato wedges were nice for starters. The main course - I went with the homemade black gnocchi with lobster tail, and was lip smashingly delicious to the last bite. Post lunch espresso was served at the right temperature - not scathing hot. Thoroughly recommend!

    Nice Italian restaurant, great service, cool ambiance, but the food is bland.We tried different pasta dishes and I had a house special cavatelli with meat sauce and it didnt have athe taste I was looking for. T-bone steak was a little chewy for my taste as well. Over all an ok experience, just not the great one.

    We found this place by mistake and I was so glad we did. I had my teenage daughter and niece with me. The staff was so patient and helpful with all of us. The food was excellent and worth every penny as was my wine. The only regret is we were too full for dessert. We will go every year we are in NYC. This is now our go to Italian restaurant in the city.

    The atmosphere is great. The service is awesome. The food is delicious, but the portion size felt like I received a kids meal. Honestly, if I had known, I wouldve ordered an appetizer & 2 entrées. I got the penne alla vodka with chicken. Sadly, there was room for dessert because I was still really hungry. I got the Napoleon. The Napoleon wasnt the best I had, but it was still good. But, now that I know the portion size, I know to order more next time. Sorry, I was too hungry & forgot to take a pic of my penne alla Vodka with chicken. But, I did remember to take a pic of my dessert.

    Ate dinner here with some family last night and the whole experience was incredible. Luigi our server was top notch and so was the rest of the staff. The food was delicious in every way. The quality and freshness of the meal was something special. I go out to eat at many places and this is right up there with many of my favorite places on Arthur Ave in the Bronx. After you meal make sure you save room for dessert. Tried three of them; the panna cotta, the crème brûlée, and the chocolate cake. All decadent and delicious.

    What a fantastic place! Great food! Had a sirloin steak and spinach. Delicious! We can highly recommend this place. Very nice place, great service and clean. Would love to come back!Had a table for a party of 6.they serve salami as an appetizer plus a bunching Parmesan cheese.

    Went in while location scouting for photos in FIDI. Wanted to try the broccoli and a gin drink. Ordered a VERY dirty Hendricks Martini and a side of sautéed broccoli. Both did not disappoint!The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing as well!

    I came here for an amazing work dinner but was too full for dessert. Another table ordered this for dessert and I knew I had to come back. I sat at a he bar and had a great whiskey from their selection at the bar while waiting for my “dinner”. 7/5 stars for the service the night before and the impeccable service tonight. I’m stopping by here every time I’m in NYC.

    Lovely old school Italian restaurant.Super nice staff, very attentive.Menu had great variety plus many specials of the night. Not sure why it was quiet on a Friday night - might be that it is summer ending in nyc and the Wall Street interns are gone. Branzino in Francese sauce (special) side of carbonara spaghetti for me - yum. Veal parm for hubby. Nice peppers and olives with bread (complimentary).Def a solid choice for Italian in FiDi.

    Omg we had the time of our life-- we got the filet mignon on bone and the fruit of the sea but the narrative we established with our waiter, who so funny and so charming and we just laughed the whole night-- or maybe he wasnt that funny but the drinks were really strong!

    Step into this restaurant to step into an incredible and intimate dining experience. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful with suggestions.We tried the chefs specials! The pesto was probably the best I’ve ever tasted & the lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious. Each time I visit the city I will aim to make it back to try each thing on the menu.And the desserts…. Just wow!! I will be thinking about the cheesecake and crème brûlée until next time

    Long time downtown Italian restaurant with very high quality foods presented well, without fanfare, by well trained and long experienced staff. They all know the menu and specials 100%, which is very helpful, especially with picky eaters or those with allergies.Not the most diverse of menues, nor most diversified of the many choices for Italian in downtown NYC, but a good assortment.One of the best places within 10 blocks of its location for either an unexpected, non reserved table, or as pricing for a group of 10 or more. They have comfortable and attractive pricing for groups, although go over the wine separately, as they are in need of pricing adjustment when youre ordering more than one bottle. Same on bottled waters, they will work with you on pricing for small or large groups.Service is excellent. Comfort high. Quality high. Replace a few items on the menu, maybe a add a few for diversity, and buy some different wine selections in mid-price ranges, and a 5 is in the near future.A solid 4.5 now.

    5 star food, service n atmosphere but sadly had to give 4 stars because some items are priced too high. Penne with Vodka is $30. No pasta priced below 30....even simple dishes. Portions very moderately sized as well. If you do not mind over paying it is a very nice place with tables well spaced and comfortable.

    Excellent meal and service! Highly recommend to all who are looking to have a nice Italian dinner. One person at our table mentioned to the waiter how good the peppers were and he immediately brought out an additional plate of them free of charge. The penne alla vodka was incredible.

    Any meal at Giardino DOro is a perfect one. Over the years, Ive had a chance to taste quite a bit of their dishes and I can say that whether its a traditional dish or a unique special, these guys always prepare a perfect meal. The service is impeccable, and the environment is friendly and comfortable.They cook an amazing steak here too, so if youre in the mood for a delicious piece of steak, look no further. Thats what makes them so interesting: where else can you get a perfect Italian meal, a perfect steak, or a little of each? Finish the meal off with a cannoli and you are in heaven.

    First time since moving across the street at 2 Gold Street. The food was superb and the wait staff friendly and non pushy. A very relaxed meal that was prepared superbly. The desert which was also fantastic, I highly recommend this Italian gem.

    In-person dining is now open. We have lived within two blocks for the last six years and never managed to get there, in spite of recommendations from a number of friends. We went the other night and absolutely loved it.The carbonara was particularly good, and the saltimbocca was outstanding.I lived in Europe for many years and have spent a good deal of time in Italy and this is the real deal, similar to what Ive had there.

Burrata appetizer special is fantastic, atmosphere is romantic, wait staff is attentive and friendly, every entrée Ive had has been perfect, plus they will go off menu for you if needed to accommodate dietary concerns. This is the top Italian trattoria in the Wall St./ Fulton area.

    Held an engagement/birthday celebration there in the private wine cellar, which is beautiful and has a such rustic feel, and it was an amazing experience. Benny was very accommodating and helped my vision come to life. The food was amazing and our server was world class as well. The memory we were able to create there felt magical and I’m so appreciative.

    Wonderful old style Italian restaurant. Hard to find these anymore. Very few places prepare the food at your table. In this case it was the Branzino which was beautifully prepared. My husband is Italian and we both think the food is excellent as well as the service. Its pricey so be prepared, but its great.

    Even though we moved out of the financial district in 2014, and moved to CT and then NJ, we always make it a point to come back into the city JUST to go to our favorite restaurant. They always welcome us like we are still locals and from the ambiance, to the service, to the apps, entrees and desserts, this place is top notch and will always hold a special place in our heart. It’s a must-do !

    What can I say about this place, the food was absolutely delicious. My family and I all had different pastas with Allá Vodka sauce and by God.. the best food I’ve had on the eastern seaboard of the USA. Followed up by an amazing crème brûlée. If you are in New York City this is a must. You will not regret eating here.

    I am a real sucker for old school service and they go all out to make you feel special. Forget about the cost because you wont compare how they make you feel.     Dont be intimidated by the fancy appeal, as the place is inviting to all and the staff makes you feel welcomed.     Great service and atmosphere. A great New York steak house. I got the filet mignon for around $52 which was very delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes were to die for at $12. I would recommend to anyone wanting a fancy meal. We went for lunch at 2 pm, and we were the only ones in the restaurant.

    Ate here for a business lunch. The restaurant seems very up scale for a small place down town. Wait staff was quick, efficient, and stealthy. Never noticed A glass of water every being refilled.To start, the meal began with bread and a small charcuterie plate. The bread was warm and pulled apart easily. The plate was a serving of soppressata, slightly fried green chili, and cubes of parmigiano-reggiano, paired with a sauce cup of oil soaked olives. The peppers provided a delicious kick for the rest of the meal.T-Bone steak was ordered as the main course. Well cooked, juicy from tooth to fork. No additional seasoning was required. Theres a suggestion of dry ageing in the flavor, and USDA prime beef in the texture. The quality of the steak took me off guard, as small restaurants out this much effort into steak unless its the final point of the business (steak stand chop houses).Guardino Doro is a great place fo business lunches overall.

    The staff was superb. Exceptionally kind and personable. The food was incredible. I Had hand made, white-truffle tortillini and my boyfriend had the fruti di marre. More sea food on that plate than an all you can eat buffet. Highly recommended.

    Giardino DOro is more of a downtown Wall street type men-heavy dining spot. My supervisor took me here for a fancy lunch. The entry way is shabby for some reason but the inside decor is far away from shabiness. It has dim lighting and tons of wait staff ready to serve. Each table is provided with a nice free appetizer of cheese, salami and warm bread basket.I chose their Carbonara pasta for my lunch. It is nicely cooked. Pasta is cooked just right with the right texture and the heavy cream is not overwhelming.I do reckon this is not a casual dining spot as you would feel slightly under-dressed. Yet. this is definitely a good place to bring clients or treat your employees.

    Tucked away in NYCs Financial District, the little gem of a restaurant is just about perfect for high quality Italian food and service. The ambiance is just right, not too overdone and not underdone. The noise level was low. The service and food were wonderful - we had Gnocchi Bolognese and a whole Branzino that was fileted tableside.
