This is such a nice little bar and you’d never expect much from a spot inside a men’s clothing store. Although it’s a bar, there are still a good selection or restaurant quality dishes to enjoy. I was able to try several drinks and dishes and all were great. Both Eric and Victoria provided lovely service and recommendations as well. My favorite dish was one of the small plates, the Parker house rolls. Trust me, just get them. The tacos were a very close second, but omg those rolls. Would highly recommend stopping by this little spot if you’re in the area, even if you’re not shopping there.

One of the great (low-key) rest spots on the upper east side! Goodmans Bar has great food/snack and drink options. Asa and Eric are the best bartenders around, and as a local, they always know what I want when I come to the bar...Whether its an americano coffee or espresso martini, they know how to make a drink! If you need a break from shopping, I highly recommend Goodmans Bar.

Excellent spot for a bite to eat and a cocktail. Here you see their rendition of a paper plane. The chicken pot pie was delicious.

Came here on a weekend afternoon, was seated pretty quickly despite the long line! ordered their caviar dip and chips and their warm apple pie w vanilla ice cream. was not expecting this to be SO delicious. both were so tasty that i’m definitely coming back here again! best apple pie i’ve had in nyc! the chips refill were free as well!

Went for a quick drink. Ended up spending a few hours here. Asa and Eva were serving us and were the perfect hosts. Would highly recommend it if you are in the area. Seriously cannot fault it.

Had a great experience stopped by first for a quick old fashion while I shop service is fantastic cant go wrong had the short rib tacos 🤌 cant go wrong. Asa was my bartender great personality very welcoming highly recommend this place to eat ans 🍸!

Cold and tired. Wait for your shopping companion at the bar on the 2nd floor. In the mens dept store. Courteous attentive waitstaff. Nice , cozy comfortable seats. Just hang out and watch the shoppers. Have a freshly baked madeline with your coffee.

Excellent service, tasty dishes and some of the best drinks in the city! 10/10 would recommend stopping by for a drink or 4. I got a mezcal old fashion and a French 75 both were amazing. Tacos were so good as well.

One of best bars in town with great taco’s. Service is 5 stars and barman knows his job. Makes me great drinks every time. If you want to experiment leave it to him to make a special drink for you.

I’ve been coming here for years and have to say that Asa and Eric are some of the best waiters and mixologists the city has to offer. Not only do they remember where I sat and what I ordered but they are also incredibly friendly, and create a great atmosphere to chill, eat, and hangout. Highly recommend.

Wow! Seriously impressed by the level of hospitality & service—namely Eric. Such warmth and skill behind the bar. Cocktails & food are top-notch: food approachable, yet executed with confident finesse and refinement, plus drinks that rival the best cocktail programs in the city. Who knew this was happening inside the men’s store at Bergdorfs!? (Not me lol)Stumbled upon this bar on a whim. Will absolutely make it a point to be back. Well done 👏 (I was so impressed by the service, I’ll now make it a point to shop there, too, ha.)

Was looking for a special place that was “off the beaten path but in the middle of everything” to grab a cocktail and found Goodman’s located inside the men’s store at Bergdorf Goodman’s.While this is a newer addition to the Bergdorf family, the expertise across the team is second to none.The bar area itself harks back to bygone days with its elegant wall treatments, lighting and mural of Central Park while feeling fresh and hip. The intimate setting is perfection.Our experience was curated by Asa who recommended two of the finest cocktails to begin our journey and even offered a whiskey tasting to get to know our palette.Chef Gio takes particular care to ensure every dish is full of love and adventure-I highly recommend the Beef Tartar and the Bibb salad with shrimp but the star of the show is Gio’s cavier presentation which is highly approachable even for someone that was brand new to cavier.The crème fresh was joined with subtle hints of horseradish, lemon and chive which balanced the slightly salty perfection of the cavier.The custom potato chips made a light but substantial foundation to play with, making every bite unique and balanced.Asa’s paring of champagne took the flavor journey to new heights while Eva’s service and conversation made us feel as though we were regulars.If you are looking for a wonderful experience beyond great food and drinks you MUST visit Goodman’s.
