    I was a regular here, more or less from the late 90s until I moved to San Francisco in 2004. I always had fun at the Hangar, especially because the guys are friendly, AND, the bathrooms super-cruise-y. Anyway, I always visit when I come into town for a visit, and although some things are different with the decor, its still a good place to have a hot and friendly low pressure experience. NOT like a lot of other places in the city. Chelsea for example, or even other places in the West Village. OR Castro for that matter, if we want to go bi-coastal about it :-)

    Perfect and attentive bartenders (only two at the moment) who do an amazing job with such huge crowds. Very friendly patrons as well.

    Very nice place to hang out for gay singles or gay couples. If your not into the rush. Great place for a game of billards. Very friendly atmosphere.

    One of my favorite gay bars in NYC, very diverse great atmosphere and drink specials! Bartenders here are very friendly and pour a stiff drink! The service here has been very consistent every time Ive been here! 10/10

Open late till 4 a.m. Special nights on Fridays and Saturdays this is a staple for New York City nightlife in the lgbtq world expand your horizons and bring some straight Friends Along to you guys will definitely have a great time this place is awesome for anybody that enjoys some great beats drinks and atmosphere you will never have a dull moment here.

    The dj here tonight his name is amicus he is really moving the crowd. My people love him and my man Otto says that you need to be here Sunday night when he is spinning music. He has taken my mind off my problems. Otto finds his booty shaking to the stuff amicus be playing. Stuff from the 70s to today all mixed up covering tastes. The staff and bartenders is like family. We feel safe and at home here.

    Ive been a regular for many, many, many (you get my drift) years! The bar and bus staff are like family. Honorable mention to longtime bartenders Dino and Marke - who are no longer there but sorely missed!
