My daughter and I had such a warm and wonderful experience at Harry’s last night! Seated in a cozy circular nook detailed with rich wood and fabulous wallpaper treatments, we were enthusiastically greeted by Alex, who was not only our server but one of the restaurants Captains. Alex had come in on his day off because he knew how busy his team was going to be five days before Christmas. We are thankful he did, what a bright spot in our day. We ordered the prosciutto, asparagus and arugula salad with shaved Parmesan and a lemon vinaigrette along with cacio e Pepe and both were delicious and we devoured them immediately. Mid dinner Alex announced his shift was coming to and end and turned us over to the capable hands of Jordan, another Captain at Harry’s. Jordan was just as interactive and lovely and so much fun to end our night with. So thank you Alex and Jordan for making our evening!! Come see me @queenjaynes if you come down towards Atlantic City!

Had an amazing meal at Harry’s. The beef Wellington is perfection I’d eat it every day if I could. Also loved the crab and corn soup and the puréed potatoes. My server, Jordan, was the best!!

  • Review 3 (2024-10-02 - Rating: 5)

Amazing. Best Service ever. Great food and accommodating special requests with pleasure. (Sorry for beeing a little difficult with a flip cocktail.)

  • Review 4 (2024-11-10 - Rating: 5)

My favorite restaurant atmosphere in FiDi. It has a high-end masculine posh feel in dim lighting thats perfect for conversation.

  • Review 5 (2024-11-21 - Rating: 5)

Beef Wellington on Wednesday for lunch and drinks. Very nice experience. Everything on point.

  • Review 6 (2022-10-14 - Rating: 5)

The best steakhouse burger I’ve had so far. Pricey but worth it for once a year. Top quality ingredients that blends in together perfectly. The beef was cooked to perfection. The bacon was smoked at the right temperature. The buns were as soft as a mothers kiss. This burger is definitely not your typical burger. You must try it at least once. The fries did its job as a partner. Customer service was on point. Ambiance, thumbs up. Street parking only. Expect a high bill. If you come here once every blue moon, the prices will not seem outrageous.

What a fantastic brunch experience. Went with a group of 6 and we all had the champage brunch. We all got a different entree ranging from the breakfast items to the pasta to the hamburgers and everyone was really happy with their food choices. The service was attentive. This might be my new favorite brunch spot in the city.

  • Review 8 (2022-11-02 - Rating: 4)

Beautiful atmosphere! It is a loud place, but personally it didnt bother us. For pop they have Coke products. They give you a glass of ice and a little glass bottle. For draft beer our table got Coors, Guinness and Duvel. Had a huge selection of alcohol, cocktails, wine, and draft beers. I didnt like their onion rings. They were to thick and they had 4-5 layers of onion in the ring. I had the bone in New York strip. It was delicious. I loved when it came out it was cut, and the staff serves you. They dont have A1 . They have their own sauce it was okay. The bathrooms were very clean. The whole restaurant was very clean. The staff was wonderful. They were in it. The second anyone needed another drink they were there to get it refilled. Their rolls were so good! Also the cheesecake and creme brulee were amazing! Definitely would be back. Oh they also made our Cesar salad table side. It was out of this world.

More a 4.5 than a 4.Had a group of 20.Was able to taste the Wellington, Filet Mignon, and Rib Eye. Filet was best of the 3.Sides I was able to have the hash brown, Yukon puree (too thin, was almost like a soup, did not love it) Creamed Spinach. Of the 3 Hash brown is perfect and complements the food well. The Burrata and Caeser for 2 was also good.Waiter was very good, but the bar was missing some of the alcohol that was posted on the menu.Yes, I would return, as this place was packed and an institution in the financial district

  • Review 10 (2022-08-24 - Rating: 5)

First off, the food is seriously good. It’s expensive, but everything was worth it. I especially enjoyed the swordfish steak. Secondly, the staff was incredibly kind. Antoine was very helpful, and recommend the best glass of Chardonnay I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m an avid Chardonnay drinker. If you’re looking for a swanky place on the lower east side, this is it!

  • Review 11 (2022-10-28 - Rating: 5)

I’m a Harry’s regular and it never disappoints. Usually go for the lobster cocktail but they didn’t have it this time. Lobster bisque is so good a nice portion. The steak was delicious!!

  • Review 12 (2024-05-02 - Rating: 5)

Harry’s —exceptional service! Top tier. Luxury. Filet mignon that is perfection!!!!!! Juicy, cooked to absolutely perfection. Moreover, I am a regular. Harry’s staff remember you! Just top tier all around. Try the steak and drinks!!!!!

  • Review 13 (2024-07-21 - Rating: 5)

Classy, dark, romantic. Food is great, service outstanding. Nice wine selection. I had the blackened swordfish, Caesar salad, creme brulee, and Sancerre wine. Caesar salad made at the table. Grasshopper after dinner drink was delicious. Prices are reasonable for the area and product. Nice place for a second date!

  • Review 14 (2024-11-06 - Rating: 5)

Such an amazing atmosphere and the food was incredible! Definitely get the dry aged steak - every bite left you wanting more. Thank you!

  • Review 15 (2022-01-24 - Rating: 5)

Great place for drinks and for steaks! I highly recommend trying the tiramisu alcohol shot for dessert instead of going off whatever they have on the menu. I was in town for business, but many locals also visit here too, its a great mix and a great social atmosphere!

  • Review 16 (2024-09-17 - Rating: 5)

Stumbled into this restaurant after a night out and was very impressed with all the food! The steak, rib eye, Cesar salad, and tuna tartare were all amazing! Will definitely go back to try more of their dishes.

  • Review 17 (2022-04-30 - Rating: 4)

Overall, 4 / 5. The dry aged NY Strip had a very good dry aged taste and was cooked absolutely perfect (5/5). We had the lobster cocktail appetizer, but it was rubbery and significantly overcooked (2/5). Whole Branzino was good, but just overall a bit ordinary (3/5). Broccolini side was cooked good, but I expected a bit larger side portion (4/5). Portofino Royal vodka cocktail was strong and tasty (5/5). The Botanist gin cocktail was tasty but not strong and therefore didnt have a nice gin/floral taste (4/5).

  • Review 18 (2023-07-15 - Rating: 4)

Pretty cool spot, steaks are very good. Beef Wellington is pricey but pricey. Spinach dip as a side is good too. Portions are relatively large compared to other NYC steakhouses. Vibes are awesome! & Emily at the bar is cool. They slightly push you a bit too hard to do desserts if you are at the tables and generally want you ordering a bit too quick(given I was there on a week-day night)

  • Review 19 (2024-01-11 - Rating: 5)

Enjoyed a fantastic Beef Wellington here. Highly recommend.Updated Jan 2024Still rates a five, yet was disappointed that we got no complementary bread as we have in the past, and the wedge salad was half of what we got in the past. Maybe just me, but it also seems like they scaled back an ounce or two with the amount of wine in a glass you order these days. Prices also jumped up significantly. Felt a little ripped off for the amount we spent. Service and food was spot on! Excellent.

  • Review 20 (2021-02-27 - Rating: 5)

Run, dont walk to harrys... ive had a lot of steaks in nyc but this may have been the best. the bone-in prime ribeye is dry aged for 28 days. its a little fatty, tender, juicy, and all the things a steak should be. the hash browns were also a great side. for dessert, we got the chocolate pudding cake, and it was seriously one of the best chocolate desserts ive had in a long time. everything at harrys was to-die-for and reasonably priced... i havent felt this way about a steak place in a long.

  • Review 21 (2023-01-07 - Rating: 5)

Cajun crusted ribeye is phenomenal (pictured). Can’t go wrong with any of the sides. Good wine list and cocktails to pair.Comfortable, dimly lit atmosphere.Highly recommend Harry’s.

  • Review 22 (2019-02-05 - Rating: 5)

What a wonderful time. Excellent place to celebrate anything! The food is next level delicious. Doesnt matter what you order. I had the bone in ribeye with shaved asparagus spears and and excellent bearnaise finishing sauce. The meats are dry aged 29 days, USDA PRIME cuts, kosher coarse salt crusted, both sides, olive oil pan seared. Wild mushrooms in a generous side portion, phenomenal. The meal done to perfection, a marvelous and savory taste experience with every bite. Artisan crafted beads generously adorn the tables. A ceramic pot of French onion soup to start the taste buds into overdrive, perfect on a freezing night! A small army of staff and waiters served with precision, not annoyingly so. Water glasses kept full. The atmosphere, older, rich dark woods, a former speakeasy in the glory days of the 20th century, was inviting, and cozy. They have a coat check girl at the hostess station reminiscent of yesteryear. (It was full as it was 9° last night). Desserts, omg, atypical fare for sure. A Harrys sundae to add an extra level of naughtiness is just... one of a kind. Not just ice cream, 12 year old single malt scotch mixed with minced strawberries, ghirardelli caramel and fudge sauces, heavy whipped cream, micro malt balls, brownie bites, topped with a fresh mint sprig! Creme bruleé, larger than typical, chocolate chip cookie baked in a mini cast iron skillet, topped with hand made vanilla ice cream, mint sprig topped. It was all delightful to the eyes and certainly the palate. It was fun to meet the namesake of Harrys, Harry himself. He still oversees the day to day operations, and is a open and friendly man. Fantastic experience. Be prepared to drop a few bucks here. Well worth the time and food experience.

  • Review 23 (2024-08-23 - Rating: 5)

Just walked in and had a best experience ever, aside of friendly atmosphere and good food. We had a live music good food and my son connected with potential future boss. So let’s talk about the atmosphere. Bunch of friendly people heaving fun, cross table talking. We decided to get some oysters, I am very particular about my oysters. It was 10 out 10. Beer was amazing and the crowd was just getting more friendly. Long story short it was fun time just to walk in and take chance. Later on we learn that this was a hangout for the financial peeps that come here to release stress and have some fun. We met executive from Chase that my son connected with to get potential interview to a group form Spain that just rolled in as we did. So choice is yours we will rate this place 10’out of 10 as we had an amazing time. Now the spoiler alert, the bathrooms are smal and narrow, but this just added to the fun ;) hope this helped but we are coming back tonight before heading home to Michigan

The rib eye is very good! It would be a perfect choice for a business lunch in New York. I like it so much.

  • Review 26 (2024-11-10 - Rating: 5)

The music choice doesnt go with the vibe at all. Everything is super classy.... except the loud obnoxious music (....old man yells at cloud...). Steak is cooked perfectly tho...

Sunday Brunch at Harry’s is fabulous! The aesthetic of this place is just divine, the food is delicious and the champagne never stops flowing. This menu has great options for everyone and the staff is very accommodating. You cannot go wrong with brunch at Harry’s!

  • Review 28 (2022-09-11 - Rating: 4)

With absolutely no idea 🤷🏻‍♂️ of what a Chicken Piccolo is, I ordered this fine dish at Harry’s. First of all Harry’s has been there forever, surprisingly for many business dinners Ive been here near the Wall Street area. The dish was super, its rich, with sauce, the chicken was very well cooked, the vegetables 🥦 came out with solid flavour.

Such an amazing all around experience. The service was on point in every aspect imaginable. The ambience was dim lit , down the staircase. The food was amazing, known for their steaks, and offer table side salads with homemade dressing which was a nice surprise. This was romantic and an enjoyable date nightHighly suggest

  • Review 31 (2024-09-07 - Rating: 5)

I just had an aged New York Strip steak medium rare, onion rings, and broccolini. The steak was great cooked right it had excellent size slightly chewy. The onion rings were perfect. The broccolini was also cooked correctly. The service could not have been better, and the atmosphere was great with everyone enjoying their meals with their family and friends!! I will definitely go back! The onion rings are highly recommended! 90

  • Review 33 (2024-05-18 - Rating: 5)

I went to Harry’s on a whim hoping they would have a table available on a Friday night and luckily for me they did. Immediately upon entering you can tell that the service is going to be exceptional, the hostess and waiters were extremely attentive off the bat and continued to be so throughout the duration of my experience here.I tried a few of their cocktails, red wine and champagne paired with oysters, bone in rib eye, wedge salad and their fries and can honestly say that the food matched the service. The steak was not only cooked to perfection but deliciously sweet and that melt in your mouth decadence that you want.I’m so glad I live close by as I will absolutely be returning to this restaurant and bringing my friends along with me.I do wish I had taken photos of the food and drink to add to this review but I was too caught up in the luxe atmosphere to think about it.10/10

  • Review 34 (2019-03-08 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food, we tried the lunch steak salad and the Cajun style ribeye. The salad was incredible, with a very generous portion of steak perfectly cooked and tender, the only downside is that it was a bit too salty for me, but not unbearable. The ribeye was splendid. Potato puree just ok, and the cremee brulee was a bit bitter due to overcooked caramel, but good anyway.

  • Review 40 (2020-02-11 - Rating: 5)

Great place! We had a bottle of wine with cheese to start with. Both were divine. Had crab cake for appetizer. Also delicious! Had Filet Mignon with Lobster fried rice as main entree and let me say. By far one of the best steak I have ever eaten! Service was amazing!!! My cup was never empty. Attention to detail at its finest! Worth every penny!

  • Review 41 (2022-05-29 - Rating: 5)

No matter the weekend, we are ALWAYS up for Harry’s bottomless brunch! I’d say it’s one of the best kept secrets in the area.Be careful walking up the steps post brunch because the servers will keep the champagne flowing with the purchase of an entree. I never miss an opportunity to grab their breakfast sandwich and my fiancé LOVES the steak and eggs here.We 10/10 recommend Harry’s for brunch every weekend!!

Just wanted to take myself on a solo date and it was phenomenal! I was sat immediately as a party of 1, they took my coat for check in which is nice. They had excellent service and timing.I ordered the matcha lemonade and it was SOOO GOOD! Ordered the squid ink shrimp scampi pasta and oh my god....one of the best dishes I have had in awhile. Great place!I did spend around $45 including tip and I do not make a lot of money so to me it was a bit pricey but it was worth it. Easily couldve spent $100 with the wines and other choices for dishes.

  • Review 43 (2024-05-31 - Rating: 4)

Service was top notch. I had left overs and received a ticket for my food… fancy! For each item we ordered, almost all had a mini presentation. You could tell that everything was made to order/fresh and was of supreme quality. With that said, I just did not think the flavors were anything to write home about. I’ve had tastier lobster bisque and shrimp scampi elsewhere. The fries, though…👌🏾.The decor was lovely: a section for everyone. A bar area, an area with large tables and ones for more intimacy. Dimmed lights and a speakeasy vibe were nice.

After walking all day. Harry,s was a well deserved treat. Omar was AMAZING making the Ceasars Salad. It was prepared as a show, every ingredient was explained on how it added to the dish. The Steak melted in my mouth, onion soup pulled it all together. The Dinning experience and service definitely worth it.Thanks everyone!

  • Review 55 (2023-10-18 - Rating: 4)

Classic steakhouse with other options. They have some classic dry age grilled steaks but they do offer other things. Ive had a few things here and everything has been above average. This evening I got the beef wellington, only served on Wednesday and in limited quantity, it was spectacular. Everything about it was good, the quality of beef, the crust, the sauce, even the carrots as the side were really tender. They also have a good size bar area that serves anything you can think of.

  • Review 56 (2024-03-30 - Rating: 5)

Are you hungry for beef wellington and possibly the best lamb curry in NYC? What if I told you that you can fill both those cravings at one location? Youll probably think Im crazy but you should check out Harrys.Located at one end of Stone Street, its popular among the Wall St crowd and tourists. And Im here to get my beef wellington fix, and my brother said they got the best lamb curry (Ill be the judge of that). For starters we went with the lobster bisque, the smoked trout Deviled Eggs and the baked clams. The Lobster bisque is a real treat, first they present you with a soup dish with a decent amount of lobster in the center and then they slowly pour in the bisque from a tureen. The soup itself is rich and creamy and chock-full of lobster flavor and the lobster meat is fresh and quite a mouth full. The Deviled Eggs are okay not much to write home about I didnt really get much smoked trout flavor. My mom quite enjoyed the baked clams which had plenty of clam in them and delightfully garlicky. For drinks I started off with a cocktail called scotchy scotch scotch; it tasted very much like scotch 😆. And then I moved onto a matcha lemonade, which tasted more of matcha than lemonade quite tasty, but I wish it tasted more of lemonade. Lastly I finished off with one of the Classic Espresso Martini and that was the perfectly delicious cocktail to finish off the meal. Now on to the main course. I had the beef wellington and let me tell you if you ever want to have a simply marvelous beef wellington or if you had never had one before. This is the quintessential beef wellington. The puff pastry was flaky and amazingly buttery. The mushroom pate layer was earthy and full of mushroom unami. And the beef is a perfect medium rare. The knife basically glides through it like a hot knife through butter. And the truffle sauce *chefs kiss* now thats real truffle flavor. Also the lamb curry is also amazing too. I wish the curry had more heat to it but I guess that would detract from the delicious gamey-ness of the lamb and the wonderful symphony of spices. Truly, both are delicious dishes that I would dream of until I next dine at this establishment.9/10. If youve been binge-ing hells kitchen and really want a beef wellington but dont want to have to cook it yourself. Have it at Harrys.

Harrys is an iconic, long-time steakhouse in Lower Manhattans Financial District (FiDi) thats as classy as the food and service is excellent. If the beautiful wood walls could talk, oh the stories they would tell.Ive sat at the bar for drinks and a bite to eat and in the dining room where the staff looks after your every need.Omar is exceptional in his suggestions and professional service. He has a way of making you feel special every time and Ive been there many, many times. The steaks are reliably delicious as is the seafood dishes, especially the cracked snow crab, when they have it - amazing!I live in the area, and this is one of my favorite restaurants, world-wide.

Had to try the Beef Wellington and it fell short on my taste buds and I’m not sure if it was worth the price. Soups are good but fish plates served with a huge piece of butter to save the taste is not the best choice.

Sunday brunch comes with unlimited sparkling (90 mins limit) with any purchase of entrees. The portions are large and generally the entrees were all good.We generally enjoyed the crab cake and the baked clams a lot, and the branzino salad was delicious as well. The fish was extremely well cooked.

We were seated in this cute private type cube area, it made it a bit romantic for our date night. Our server presented a drink and it was so damn good...I had 3😁. The food was good, Decent portions. Would definitely try again.

All of the people down at Harrys took very good care of us for Thanksgiving with the added bonus of making all these homemade cookies and things that used the old financier patissier recipes. Including the chocolate covered Lays potato chip with drizzled peanut butter and I just thought that was the greatest thing since sliced bread. You never get a bad meal there. And if youre lucky enough, you might even see Harry waiting outside in a minivan rolling the window down to ask you how was dinner that night. Well he must be about 85 now and I give him credit for that. Thanks to all of our great friends down at Harrys

  • Review 69 (2023-01-19 - Rating: 5)

Excellent experience-from the food, to the staff. Ive eaten at 99% of the steakhouses in NYC and the steaks I tried here were the tastiest Ive ever had at a NY steakhouse. I had the ribeye and the NY strip-both were full of flavor. Most steakhouses suck to put it bluntly, some get the texture right without much flavor, but very few get the texture and the flavor right. This place did both. In addition, the ambience is very nice, you get a real steakhouse high class feeling in there and people that are there are dressed professionally-its by wallstreet so you expect to see that-personally I like that, which is how it should be when youre at a classy restaurant. Drinks are excellent, the restaurant has a very nice bar, and there is a good wine selection as well. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Staff are attentive, food comes on time. You can tell it is a professionally run establishment with excellent staff. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work 👍

One of the best places to have steak in the area, for a reasonable price. Great selection of wine. Service is always top notch.

  • Review 71 (2022-10-28 - Rating: 5)

Classiest restaurant in the neighborhood. Locals and visitors have all told me they have loved Harrys for so many years. Great brunch, beautiful bar to have a nice lunch, awesome food at dinner and I have been to their private rooms for company events. Great service and staff. Owners are just really caring, nice people. Recommend steak tartare, all the steaks, branzino, delicious oysters. Great wine list. And their brunch is surprisingly good.

  • Review 72 (2023-02-21 - Rating: 5)

Came here for the first time last year because they are the place to find a good Beef Wellington which my wife had always wanted to try. It is great BUT I was blown away with the cajun style steak. Probably the best steak I’ve ever had and I’m putting it against some of the other heavy weights in NYC.

  • Review 73 (2023-11-19 - Rating: 5)

Just a super awesome weekend brunch option. Yes, the dishes might be slightly on the pricier side and maybe they could be a tad larger but against everything else it’s still worth it. It’s classy in an old school Fidi kind of way. Service was wonderful, and the eggs Benedict, which is what I had was top notch. Nice thick slabs of Canadian bacon! Have I had thicker? I’m not sure. But what really puts it over the top is the free flow champagne which the waitress topped up regularly. Get that with a carafe of fresh squeezed orange juice if you like. I did!11.19.23 Update: I was back this past weekend and I have to say that apart from the great food, the service here is really top notch! There was a small issue with one of the dishes and our server handled it in such a professional manner, quickly remedying it that it barely registered. That’s the kind of service you want!

  • Review 74 (2023-04-13 - Rating: 5)

Great place! We had filet mignon, steak tartare, and three sides. Everything was excellent. Prices werent bad. Had two bottles of wine! Small complaint: our waiter could have been friendlier.

  • Review 75 (2024-02-11 - Rating: 4)

We didnt eat, just a quick drink with friends. The drinks were great. The ambiance was great. The only downside, service was super slow.

  • Review 76 (2024-12-21 - Rating: 5)

Earlier this year on 30th of august we, two Belgian tourists, landed by chance at Harrys. They very graciously seated us and we were served by a tall guy with such a friendly demeanor who indulged in our questions and conversation as well as our Belgianness (for lack of a better word). The food was exquisite and the service was amazing. Our European stomachs were not prepared for the American portions, but again they kindly indulged us in our ways. We can confidently say this was the best meat we ate anywhere in the World. It wasnt just meat, it was art.

  • Review 77 (2022-09-09 - Rating: 5)

Good steaks. For lunch, I tend to go for steak salad. Lobster bisque is delicious. Scallops are cooked really nicely. Baked clams and crab cake appetizers are also delicious. Cant go wrong here!

  • Review 78 (2023-06-24 - Rating: 5)

Harrys was amazing! I came in with my family and the service was fantastic as well as the food. The staff was extremely friendly and asked my about moss pocketbook! I made it myself and they were super supportive and sweet. Recommend this place!

What you expect in an upscale NY Steakhouse. Good food, menu classics, very accommodating, great energy.

  • Review 80 (2017-12-19 - Rating: 5)

We enjoyed every aspect of our experience at Harrys. We had drinks at the bar before dinner and the service was wonderful. Our experience at dinner did not disappoint either. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I do not recall ever having had a steak that was as good as the one that I had that night. I ordered the bone-in NY Strip and thoroughly enjoyed that. My wife had the Beef Wellington and is still raving about that dish.

Always great steaks. A little bit loudly and busy for Wednesday night.

  • Review 82 (2024-09-15 - Rating: 5)

I visited on 9/14 - our server Captin Alex was great, very attentive and knowledgeable as well as personable and friendly. The squash soup, fantastic. It is my favorite fall soup , the best I have yet to have. The beef wellington, amazing ! Delicious. I will be back on my next trip to the to NYC.

  • Review 83 (2023-02-27 - Rating: 4)

Just what you would expect for a steakhouse in the Financial District. Very nice inside although when we visited, it was a lot of groups of business people, again what you would expect. Food was very good, although the desserts….not so much. The steak and steak burger were perfectly cooked and delicious. Service wasn’t the best. Wine and alcoholic beverages came quickly however, soft drinks took multiple requests.

  • Review 84 (2022-08-28 - Rating: 5)

The bar is very classy and the food is exceptional. Had a great martini off the menu. The bartender, Sam, was very friendly and talked us through the menu and made a great recommendation. She even handled my friends excessive questioning quite well.

Five Stars! We ordered Harrys Holiday Feast for our small familys Christmas Dinner. Ordering and pick-up was smooth. Very friendly staff. All food was packed for travel including plastic wrapping, together with simple cooking and reheating instructions. Everything was delicious! Harrys Beef Wellington is the best on the planet!

Special salad was good. Chef seemed to have “upgraded” both of our steaks. We ordered one medium and one medium well. They came in as medium well and well done.

  • Review 89 (2022-02-07 - Rating: 5)

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in NYC. Always equally fantastic as last time. The daily specials are always a great options, and the Wednesday beef wellington is out of this world. Highly recommend the ceasar salad for two (made at the table which is an extra bonus) and the polenta fries are a hidden gem on the menu. But best of all is the atmosphere, it has such a warm and joyful atmosphere. The bar is great for an after work drink as well.

  • Review 90 (2022-12-11 - Rating: 4)

The food and service were great. But our table was right by the door. So whenever the door opened, it was pretty chilly. It wouldnt have been so bad, but its December. Actually, it was chillier than the frozen margarita I was drinking.

  • Review 91 (2021-07-16 - Rating: 4)

If you like taverns, this is your place. Rather dark, part of the ambiance I guess. Prices on the steep side. Food is ok. I expected better. The staff are very attentive. The floors are uneven and in the dark atmosphere you have to take care. Bathroom is a hoot with old ads on there inside doors. The light there was actually too bright and oddly placed.

  • Review 92 (2016-07-14 - Rating: 4)

Bone-in filet mignon medium rare was fantastic. The baked potato was good, as were the oysters and Canadian bacon.

  • Review 94 (2021-06-02 - Rating: 4)

My and my fiancé had an evening dinner here and it was very nice. I ordered the lamb chops and they were delicious. The hash brown potatoes were a huge favorite of mines. I was hesitant bc I thought it was going to give me a breakfast feel but to my surprise it was the total opposite. Wines were good. Atmosphere there was perfect for a date night outing. Even to catch a casual drink it was perfect for. The night we went was a rainy mess but over all the experience here was what I wanted it to be. Will revisit when back in town.

  • Review 95 (2019-02-04 - Rating: 5)

A really great place for dinner. Had some amazing lamb and sides. Cocktails were good, service was excellent and the dessert was perfect. Atmosphere is dim but lively. Prices were reasonable and very fitting for the quality of food.

Update: Dinner here is better. Cacio e Pepe was divine. Steak, fantastic. Beef Wellington, superb. And oh, tuna tartare as appetizer was a great choice too!——————————Champagne brunch is a must. I had eggs Benedict which was decent but not the best I’ve had. Service was excellent.

I love steak and this is a great please to enjoy one.I went with my friends after a long walk around Wall Street and we were looking for a good place that dosent cost a leg and an arm it was the winner food is delicious ones of my favorites was the steak tartar actually the made it beside the table my girlfriend fall in love with the crab cake and the ribeye amazing. The only thing is that the place is a little bit difficult to find for someone that is not used to in that area but its absolutely worth it.

  • Review 98 (2024-07-28 - Rating: 4)

Fantastic classic NY restaurant for when that’s your thing. The beef Wellington was delicious and the truffle sauce that accompanied it was perfect. The pastry didn’t stick to the meat very well as it should, but it was still delicious. My main gripe is that all of the red wines by the glass are served room temp, which in summer means they are a bit warm.

  • Review 99 (2021-04-14 - Rating: 5)

This is definitely my favorite place for lunch in FiDi, and I have loved it for dinner also, but we came here on Easter Sunday to break our routine, and it was very enjoyable. We ordered off the Easter menu, though we could have ordered à la carte. The food was great and the service impeccable. I really love this restaurants situation in an antebellum New York building with a rich history. It was renovated within the last few years, and the interiors feel modern without sacrificing that wonderful New York steak/club house feel. Treat yourself.PS I didnt so much appreciate the music, which made it feel more like a bar than a restaurant. It was a little loud, and more classic rock/R&B with a beat. Maybe it seemed loud because we were in the early shift and the restaurant was just filling up, but a little incongruous with the refined setting.

  • Review 100 (2023-02-28 - Rating: 5)

Great steakhouse, better than many traditional stakehouses located downtown and midtown which tend to be good, not great, and yet quite pricey. Besides good steaks, quality sides and a great burger made the difference.

  • Review 101 (2022-08-16 - Rating: 5)

Very nice ambience and delicious food. We went their for Brunch last Sunday and we surprised by their brunch option which include unlimited champagne (90 mins time limit per table). Their staffs are very mannered. Make sure to book reservations before going to that place.

Very convenient location if downtown and nice clubby feel inside. Good for both business & non-business lunch or dinner.Overall service was good...not exceptional. Asked for sparkling water and it seemed to come from a random bottle, not one opened and placed on our table. Not happy about that.Atmosphere is solid...good for small or large tables. Festive around the holidays.Food is good, but again not great. If you are going here for an amazing steak, you wont be wowed. Other foods were also good but portions on the average to smaller side.Ive been here many times but some people not used to the prices may be disappointed.Paying $$$$$ for a $$$$ meal.

Amazing service, good wine, lovely bread basketI was tired, this place happened to be next to me when I was googling for food. Beef tartar was fresh, even house red was good (zero expectation for house, but it happens to be lovely), the bread basket is just so exciting. What stands out is their attentive service, super polite staff, I really should have tipped more. It’s a comfortable place with classic yet cool decor. It’s a nice NYC kinda restaurant. Reasonably priced!

I cant recommend the weekend brunch enough. Food is very tasty. I usually go for Steak & Eggs (medium rare and soft scrambled). The Eggs Benedict options are terrific and...well everything is good. With an entree order (range $18-30) you get unlimited champagne. They just start pouring(!!)! Food comes very quickly and they do start you off with an assortment of fancy breads with jam.You can pay $7 for a carafe of OJ and extra $$ if you want top shelf champagne. I usually get a carafe to share with three other people and we always have left over juice...and not because the champagne wasnt flowing. The aesthetic is Wall St Steak House but it is a sunny day and people are letting their hair down. Waiters are sharply dressed and attentive. Dont feel guilty about asking for a refill. Theyre running all over the place and may not notice if your glass is empty. I always have a blast and as I am leaving inevitably (and enthusiastically) say, We should do this more often!

  • Review 124 (2023-10-16 - Rating: 5)

Such a fun spot for unlimited mimosas for brunch!

  • Review 125 (2017-12-15 - Rating: 5)

Always great here. This is an institution and a classic Wall Street lunch spot. The dinner here is wonderful as well. Great service and great food. I recommend the Chicken Paillard Salad, Atlantic Salmon with Lentils, and the 4 Egg Omelette. The steaks are good choices too. Dont forget a cocktail.

  • Review 126 (2022-12-18 - Rating: 4)

The food was okay but the service was lacking. For example my girlfriend wanted to taste the moscato and the server said it wasn’t possible, however a different server came and allowed her to taste it. It was cold in the restaurant so 10 minutes into eating our food our plates and food were already cold. Overall I wouldn’t visit again.

  • Review 130 (2021-03-01 - Rating: 4)

Immaculate, clean, posh, eatery which eschews the essence of Wall Street. Excellent canadian bacon served with a special apple sauce that has a kick. Although, slightly understaffed possibly due to covid-19 which meant the wait times took about 15 minutes longer after being seated, the staff was very responsive, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Saturday mornings come with complimentary sparkling white wine and a young professional crowd. The bathrooms are ornate and clean. The salmon benedict and the crab cakes were pretty good but I wish I had had two stomachs as the surprisingly affordable with so many delicious sounding dishes. Ill have to return to Harrys.

  • Review 131 (2019-08-30 - Rating: 5)

Came here for lunch and had the Steak and cheese sandwich which was delicious but the highlight for me was actually the drinks. Ronnie was so great at recommending drinks and the Old Mr. Johnson cocktail I had is one of the best drinks Ive had in NYC. Then I had a tailored recommendation of an Old fashioned that was great as well. I will be back

No, but a solid meal nonetheless. I would recommend it for a variety of foodie types. Their menu covers the gamut.Parking can be an issue. Select a table time after 7PM and spaces open up.

  • Review 139 (2020-07-30 - Rating: 5)

Very elegant decor and ambience. Food and drink never disappoint, especially their steaks or handmade pasta which are always cooked perfectly. Its definitely considered upscale so its on the pricey side but thats expected for this area. It has a great bar open late for the night owls of FiDi however the drinks are pricey so if youre looking to get drunk, visit oneof the other bars on stone street or head down the block to the Killarney Rose.

Harrys, a seafood and steakhouse reaturant. Another hit right on the historic financial district of lower Manhattan. Of course this place is Michelin rated ... quality and excellence. Theyre wine list is beyond wonderful and prices are extremely reasonable. Seafood platter is a go to here and different dippings too. Caesar salad done table side with sprinkles of little anchovies (Jesus an amazing waiter there! Extremely hardworking and very welcoming) 🤤🤤🤤... now my steak dry aged bone NY strip medium well .. omg delicious, juicy in a wine broth. This steak was truly tasty and one of the best Ive ever had. To be honest Im more of a well done steak person and this was cooked medium well more to the medium side and I have no regrets at all. Looking forward to my next trip there!

A beautiful location in a very nice area. When you come here youre coming to eat good food, youre not coming to find some cheap little meal. In that context, Harrys is a solid destination for a meal with a colleague, a date, or a drink after work. The crowd - when ive gone - is a bit more of a professional vibe. I dont imagine this is a stop on a bar crawl. As for food, i heard the burger here was something of a standout, and so i ordered that. It was solid. Nothing id travel far for or rave about, but nothing to complain about. Service was notably attentive.

Chill/ confused experience. Is this a coffee house or a cocktail bar?My girlfriend and I stopped by for a drink after finding “the cauldron” was closed. Looks like a coffee shop, acts like a bar. We ordered the espresso martini as we typically do to test out a new place- we really liked it. A lot more on the espresso side than our usual experience but I liked the change of pace. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, and engaged freely with the (few) other patrons. A great lounge spot, even for a Monday. I hope to see this new spot flourish.

We came to the city to see Van Gogh - The Immersive Experience. We decided to come in a day early to see the sites and see how the city is recovery from Covid. We were pleased to see that things are getting back to Normal. Harrys did not disappoint. The steaks (my Sig other had the Fillet and I had the Bone in Strip), were both seasoned and cooked perfectly. The hash browns and onion rings werent all that great but thats not why you go to Harrys anyway. The service did not disappoint - everyone was attentive and catered to our every need. We will definitely return to Harrys when we come back to the Financial District.

You can never go wrong ordering steak or the steak sandwich! Lunch specials are pretty good... The place is always packed during the week, so make sure you make reservations or show up during off-peak hours.

The food was great and they had a number of heat things to choose from. I got a Maine lobster cocktail, asparagus, and a filet. I ordered the bearnaise sauce to put on my filet. The service was great as well.

I highly recommend the salmon salad w/ tzatziki on the lunch menu. Service was excellent and the staff was super friendly.

I came to Harry’s on Friday during lunch and we went all out. My partner and I ordered the seafood tower with a whole gang load of sides. We also got the chocolate pudding for desert. The service was great. They usually only serve the seafood tower for dinner, but they agreed to throw it together for us in the middle of the day. We felt very taken care of.

Experience. At 94 Harry is still manning the door, attentive to every detail and a pleasure to see and visit. Daniel made our meal a special treat. The lobster fried rice, hangar steak and lamb stew are ridiculous. And you dont have to mortgage the house to enjoy a fabulous dining experience. Cheers!

One of the best steakhouses downtown, offering succulent hand cut prime steak, the best wine list in FiDi, an array of signature cocktails, a popping business-casual bar scene, and snappy service under the umbrella of a charming, classical old-school steakhouse ethic. The porterhouse rivals any in the city, the crab cake app is delicate and fried to perfection, the carpaccio is the best I’ve had, the salads all extremely fresh, and to top it off, on Saturday’s from 11-4, Harry’s offers the most sought-after bottomless mimosa brunch in the city. Go for the ambiance and the high quality steaks, and you’ll be impressed by the service, attention to detail, and high profile clientele. Also a killer spot for a business lunch—I suggest the BLT, lamb burger, or club. 5/5
