    Dope spot to have lunch and hangout. I got the skirt steak chimichurri that was on point! Lunch prices also felt reasonable for the type of restaurant. Just felt so nice to sit out with some yummy food and enjoy the weather. It was also nice to walk around by the pier and outside the little village outlet area.

    Nice place for a fancy dinner or celebration! Food is great, service was good and ambiance was fitting! Highly recommend making reservation in advance since I went on a weekday and it was packed. Tried a few started and they were all delicious… highly recommend the burrata (that was yum) Calamari was ok, we also ordered the short ribs bruschetta as an app and it was delicious. Main dishes were delicious we ordered varieties of options and they were all a hit!Have cash on you if you want to use their valet service.

    Went here for our farewell dinner. Being our last meal in the US, with great service especially from Danny, made this dining experience complete for us.Tasted the calamari, roast duck, sea bass, dessert tester. Simply delicious!Ive also been constantly admiring the atmosphere and the music theyve been playing the whole night. Fits with the vibe Haven. Highly recommended!

    Lovely view. Friendly Service. Free Parking nearby. Overall the food was pretty good, although it is a little pricey. Recommend the Lobster Pasta, Churrasco was decent. Ahi Tuna tacos were also great. Favorite was the apple churro dessert. Nice place for a date & walk afterwards.

    Beyond impressed, dishes were excellent and the service was great, staff kindly lets you enjoy your courses without rushing to the next. I was amazed by the pan seared lamb shank paired with the chick pea stew, it was the comfort food I didn’t know I needed. so tender it literally melted off the bone. From Mock-tails, Lobster, Steak, Appetizers down to the Cappuccinos and Cheesecake after the main course, everything was a 20 out of 10. I literally didn’t want to leave, the ambiance is so comforting and the establishment was so clean for a busy week night. When you don’t have the ability to go out for special dinners often, this place will definitely make it worth your while.

    We went for brunch for a friends birthday weekend. It was our first time dining here and we really enjoyed our experience. Beautiful restaurant with amazing riverfront views on the outside and surrounding. The decor was very nice and set up/design. The food was delicious! We did the brunch special i think it came with mimosa i really don’t remember but i recall them having a pretty decent brunch menu with specials. The lobster Benedict was absolutely fantastic. Cooked perfectly. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned well and good portions. The oysters were good a little pricey but delicious nonetheless.Definitely can’t wait to go back and definitely recommend giving them a try.

    First time coming here for a baby shower, and I can not express enough how delicious every single platter was! Beautiful atmosphere, great view of the river, even the bathroom was supreme. All the waiters & waitresses were so kind, friendly, and attentive. I will definitely be going back again.It is a little hard to find the location when youre driving there for the first time. Thank God for GPS. They do offer valet parking, but theres also indoor parking lots not too far away.

    Since the weather was warm we sat outside. The NYC skyline was so beautiful! The outside decor and ambiance of the restaurant was nice, simplicity done right. The service was great. Our waiter Marco was pleasant, answered all our questions and accommodated all our needs. The food was good and the Lychee Martini was so delicious!

    Very hard to find a parking spot in the area. To validate your car, its a $7 fee. The view is absolutely beautiful on the riverfront front. You have the option to sit inside or outside. I suggest you make a reservation. The ambiance inside is romantic. The drinks are nice, and strong. The food wasnt bad. I enjoyed the raw oysters. However, I didnt enjoy the Lobster Croquettes. It didnt have enough seasoning to me; it was bland. The N.Y. Strip steak was prepared well, with Shrimp on top with at extra cost. Nice place overall.

    This was my first time here but I’ve wanted to try it for a while. I really enjoyed the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. The views a mentioned by other reviewers are undeniably gorgeous. We had a lot of food at our table. LOL! We had at least 4 appetizers and 4 entrees, 2 dessert and many drinks! Sorry I don’t have more pictures. The appetizers are very good but the portions are small. The entrees are also good, I had the Lobster pasta dish, I enjoyed it. Desserts were good. The 2 hostess were really sweet. The restaurant manager Jay came over and introduced himself to us. He explained every dish we asked him about which was helpful and nice of him. Our server Michelle was the best, she was patient and attentive. We required a lot of attention and she handled our requests with class and good spirit. I would definitely recommend Haven and I will return hopefully in the summer so I can sit outside.

    Went here for brunch on a Sunday. They have a nice setup with amazing views of NYC. Food is also pretty good. We ordered oysters, both Pacific and Atlantic. I got smoked salmon Benedict which was great. Their espresso martini was good although Id have preferred whole coffee beans in there instead of crushed. Service was good too although the person at the front was busy chatting away on the phone than handle the walk-ins.On and all - it was a good experience.

    Food and drinks were on point! My Chilean sea bass was delish! My boyfriend’s short ribs was amazing too. View was beautiful and staff was very friendly. Pricing was high but it was expected with the view and quality of food. My lychee martini was $17.00 but super strong and each sip was like a shot. Thus this review… Haven offers an exceptional outdoor dining experience with breathtaking views of the NYC skyline that are second to none. If youre visiting on weekends or some evenings, **ask for Dena**—you wont regret it! Her positive and uplifting energy truly elevates the experience. Shes a standout, and we know because we dine out often.The food? Top-notch. The Haven Burger was cooked to perfection, and the octopus was tender and flavorful—hard to find octopus that isnt chewy! Its one of the best places along the Hudson to enjoy outdoor dining in NJ, so take advantage while the weather allows.     I liked the place. The view is amazing, staff friendly and cheerful. The ambiance was superb.     Went to brunch at Haven today with one of my best friends and was extremely pleased with both the service and food choices. I ordered the American breakfast and my friend ordered the Brioche french toast. DELICIOUS! The Mimosas were also great:-). Service was amazing and the staff was extremely attentive. The view was beautiful despite the rain. Can’t wait to go back again!

    We came here for our anniversary, I love the beautiful view! The food came out quickly and delicious. My short ribs was super soft and 😋, We got the testing dessert, all of them were delicious.     Their brunch has the variety one would expect from a class act restaurant. The oysters were fresh and included a nice variety of sauces. The Lobster Benedict was pared with a perfection of flavors and the Bloody Mary was a step above the norm.Danny was the perfect gentleman who answered all my questions.     Came for a work lunch. The bartender was very nice and friendly. Our waiters were fantastic. We did not need to ask for ANYTHING! They were always there but not hovering - loved it!     Went on a Friday afternoon and seating was tight. You must make a reservation for waterfront seating. Otherwise, its bartop seating. The food is delicious. The drinks are not watered down.     Cool vibes. I called ahead to ask if they had a dress code because I had on tennis shoes and jeans and they said smart casual. But I got there and the crowd was definitely not dressed up at all.     Highly highly highly recommended this restaurant, weather youre looking for a cute place for brunch or just a quick spot for happy hour, this is the place for you. Its a beautiful place that has really nice cozy atmosphere. They have delicious food, drinks and dessert and to top it all off, the service is amazing.     After having a few previous great experiences at Haven, we decided to host our wedding dinner there. The food is excellent, the service is top notch, and the view on the riverfront is a plus. The cost was very fair, and for all that you get it is actually a bargain. Their event coordinator was very helpful and the entire staff is excellent & very accommodating with every detail - even with communicating solely in Spanish to guests that were not fluent in English. The dinner went perfectly and there was nothing more we could ask for. They did an amazing job and we were very happy to have decided to host our very special evening with them! We will be back for sure!

    My group came here to celebrate a Bachelorette. We made a reservation ahead of time and our table was ready for us when got there. Everything on the menu looked great, and everyone in our party was very happy with their order. We all got cocktails and mocktails and all were delicious. Then we proceeded to get some dessert and it was the perfect ending. I had to take off a star for the long food wait. It seemed that tables around us all got food except for us. The waiter continued to apologize for the wait, which made us know something was off. It wasnt that busy to have such a long wait for 7 people, but it happens. But this wouldnt deter me from returning at all.

    Had lunch here to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and we had a great time! First and foremost, the hostess Abby was very accommodating, our reservation was for 12:30 but we had to push it back an hour as we were running behind and she made the changes. When we got in she also was able to accommodate us outside as it was a beautiful day! The restaurant has a stunning view of NYC. Our server, Jade was very sweet and very accommodating to our severe mushroom allergy. We had the Kumamoto oysters as well as the Short rib Bruschetta to start (it was to die for) we love oysters and have never tried the Kumamoto and holy cow, they were so good! For our mains we had the strip steak and the shrimp linguini also very good! For our favorite part of the meal (dessert) we got the Apple Churro cobbler, (the staff added a candle and wished my mom a happy birthday) it was very sweet! Who knew a churro cobbler would be so delicious?! We very happily wiped the plate clean! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to come in and try the dinner menu. Thank you Haven & team for making my mom’s birthday lunch so lovely!

    Haven is a beautiful restaurant with amazing views plus the food is good! We had southwestern chicken spring rolls and the shrimp firecracker for appetizers. The southwestern spring rolls were just ok not worth ordering again. However, we did enjoy the salsa fresca dipping sauce it came with. The shrimp firecracker was far better and really good! For dinners we had the 10 ounce filet mignon and the swordfish. The filet mignon was excellent! It had such a delicious char flavor, and it was cooked just how I requested it well done. The swordfish was topped with a generous amount of crab meat! It was so good! We also ordered a side of gemelli lobster Mac and cheese which was horrible! Trust me and don’t order it! It wasn’t cheesy at all, and it was all dried out! Even the lobster meat was dried out too! You can’t really make a good Mac and cheese with gemelli pasta anyway. For dessert we had the chocolate bread pudding and the brownie. The bread pudding was delicious! I loved it! The brownie was a good. I recommend dining at Haven Restaurant & Bar in Edgewater!

    They have valet parking for $6 (upfront), parking could be an issue. View is nice, staff is nice. Waited 15 minutes passed our reservation time, but it was Easter Sunday. Pretzel crusted calamari and mussels for app, both were amazing. Im a carb-gal and the toast/garlic bread that came with the mussels was amazing dipped in the mussels sauce. I had short ribs with roasted veggies and truffle potatoes. The short ribs were delicious, veggies were kind of bland, but good. Husband had ribeye and brussels sprouts. Brussels sprouts were ok, not much seasoning, ribeye was delish. Cheesecake for dessert, it was good- Ive had better. Husband had warm brownie with ice cream, unfortunately it had peanuts on it so I couldnt have much, but it was really good. Everything was really good, thats why the 5-stars, but overall it wasnt anything out of the ordinary.

    The place is great and ultra chic, the service is top notch. We had Sum as our server and she was great. It was our friends 50th and we had a great time. We went to bar first and had some drinks & appetizers. We then moved to the dinner room. We ate inside and it wasnt so crowded. There are tables outside too. We have the octopus to start and it was great. I had the Chilean sea bass as an entree and it was so good. It comes in a bowl and has a miso sauce on side. It starts out as a dry dish but it turns juicy by the end. Great experience. Will deff come back when you want to have a nice nice time.

    The service was great and the food was very good and very nice to look at. I had the salmon and my husband had the chicken sandwich, we shared the short rib bruschetta appetizer. My salmon was perfectly cooked and very striking to look at but was actually bland. My husbands chicken sandwich was the most juicy, lighter than air, crispy delicious sandwich! We shared a Baileys cream brulee and that was crispy, boozy goodness. We will definitely be back but well make a reservation, so that we are not stuck on the sidewalk in blazing heat. Such a nice restaurant, Im not sure why they dont have umbrellas down on the sidewalk by the waters edge. It would have been a very nice place to sit if not for the glaring hot sun.

    This was one of the best spots Ive been with a great view. The food was delish! 😍 my husband and I went there for lunch, so from the lunch menu I had the entree Grilled Churrasco Skirt steak with potatoes and salad. For dessert, chocolate mousse. The service was great, the waiter was attentive and made sure we were good with our order. Ambiance is family friendly also, and the background music is low enough so you can talk.     Great food and beautiful place. My husband did a reservation for our anniversary but since they dont reserve tables outside we decided to wait. We asked if we could wait outside since it is so beautiful they said yes and that they would call us as soon as a table open. Well 45 mins passed by and no call so we decided to walk in again when we got there we there were like 3 tables empty outside. We know this things happen specially if it is a busy Friday and since we enjoyed the view well give 5 stars.PS. Best steak ever.

    Was searching for a nice restaurant with amazing views of the water for brunch with a friend for their birthday.There was valet parking upon arrival with reservation.We did the brunch special (Brunch Prix Fixe) with 1 mimosa, 1 bellini, and 1 entree each ($40/person - 2 drinks each and one entree each).Keep in mind, the pricing for this place is on the higher end.For the brunch entree, I ordered the french toast.Both the drinks and food came out very quickly with very little wait time.The drinks and food were so, so delicious!Our server was very attentive and polite.Overall, this was a perfect scenic and pleasant spot for an upscale brunch with drinks.

    The food is delicious! Service is exceptional! Also beautifully located right near the water. I ordered the all American breakfast wondering what their take would be on such a simple dish.     This place has been on my list for a while and I finally got my chance to come. I was originally supposed to come a few weeks ago but a staff member caught Covid and they had to shut down for a bit. I made reservations online really simple.When I arrived I had a choice of either valet or self park. I parked myself since it was close by. When I walked in, there was a nice view of the water and city. I was served by Jay and he was good. The restaurant had a brunch special of $34 for a brunch entrée and 2 mimosas, belinis, or bloody mary. I went with the mimosas. For my entrée I ordered the short rib egg benedict. I chose to have my eggs scrambled instead of poached because I am not really an egg eater.When the food arrived it looked pretty good. I thought the benedict was going to be served on a biscuit or some kind of bread but it was served on some sort of potato which was different. It tasted pretty good and the potatoes they served on the side was seasoned very well. The check was only about $35 in total. All in all I had a good experience.

    Haven is a beautiful river front restaurant with stunning view if NYC midtown. They have an outdoor patio seating area and also few in the pier deck.Their menu has some great appetizers. We loved the Octopus to start of. It was not burned, accompanied by green sea weed like vegetables.For entree we had the risotto and duck with Singapore noodles. The risotto is made with black rice and lots of seafood. Singapore noodles lacked seasoning, it would have been great if they cooked the noodles on th same sauce as the duck.Throghout our dining, the service was pretty average. Our server was way too busy. I had to wait about 20 mins to get my mochito order in. Similarly at the end of our dinner, took me about 10-15 minutes to get my check.Theres 3% additional fee on the bill, if you pay we with your credycard.

    This was my first time dining experience with Haven, and I am glad I chose this restaurant for a first date! The waitstaff was very very nice, and our waiter was extremely informative when he had asked if anyone was vegan or had a gluten allergy. I was extremely impressed by the view of the city, the layout & design of the restaurant, all the way down to the plates & silverware. We had ordered the Shrimp Firecracker as a starter; highly recommend; Espresso Martini, and Rosemary Martini, both tasted great, but did not taste a lick of alcohol. As our main course, we ordered the Roasted Duck and the Char Grilled Branzino. The food was absolutely amazing, however, the was a little too much salt cooked within the dish. We would definitely love to come here again when the weather is nice to enjoy an outdoor dining experience, or any intimate occasion in the future! Overall, I would give it 4.8 stars!

    The food here was definitely worth the 40 minute drive from my house. There is valet parking available for $8 on a sunday for brunch when i came here for the party of three. Make a reservation. Try to sit closer to the water if u can but its longer wait. The total bill was $93.83 for a party of three. They have a $34 brunch special. There is also free street and garage parking available as well. They have a wide array of liquors available to. Definitely coming here for a anniversary date night.

    If you seat outdoors, which is absolutely amazing with NYC views; you may encounter mosquitoes. To me, mosquitoes and other insects are unacceptable for an upscale place such as this and based on their own advertisements.The restaurant manager, waiters, other crew members seemed to be very much engaged in providing a wonderful experience. However, staff members/waiters need to look around at the tables and customers and not just walk around as if its a runway.I felt I was waiving way too many times to get anyones attention; from any waiter or bus boy when I was done and waiting for the check and needed to use the restroom but no one looked my way so I had to get up and walk... Somewhat, my waiter ignored my request to bring the check in right after I ordered dessert so I had to pay inside after using the restrooms and this was not gonna help this waiter with his tip. Plus, I dont appreciate waiters with a hardcore appeareance and unjustified seriousness. After all, Im a visitor and this type of presentation with long faces and stiffness send a message of tolerance not of warmed authentic welcoming.Waiters need to be humble and never let the status of what they perceived to be an awesome workplace get to their heads. Customers are customers and we are all different and what should be standard and unchanged is the service provided.Its worth mentioning that most of the food had quality to it, well presented, good texture. Specially the salads. However, I had to signal several times to request salt and pepper which should be at every table anyways...because the lamb was very bland in flavor...Also, the waiter did his best to lit a candle outdoors with some strong winds by the waterfront. Kudos to him for that!

    Came here for a birthday occasion. The place is very pretty. The views are pretty but they are honestly much better in warm weather where u can sit outside. The food was actually very delicious. The New Zealand mussels are incredible. I would definitely go back just for the mussels. The food is top notch. I have no complaints with the food. Only complaint I have was the drinks weren’t really that good. A little too bitter for my taste and the waiter made us feel a little rushed. Overall, I would definitely recommend Haven if you are looking for some high quality food and willing to spend a little more.

Even the waiter that brought out our food was so kind and attentive. They made me one of the best french martini’s I’ve ever had.     I would definitely recommend the lobster benedict! I get it every time Haven has the best (I’ve tried different restaurants lobster benedict). They cook their lobster PERFECT so it’s not rubbery like other places. There brunch is affordable around $40 which includes one preselected brunch item and two mimosas or Bellini.

    My wife and I just celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at Haven tonight. I took her here a few years ago on Valentines Day and we had a wonderful dining experience. I looked at some of the recent reviews and was pretty shocked to see a few low ratings and was hoping that our experience would live up to our previous experience. Well, it didnt. It was even BETTER this time around!Our server was fantastic. He was attentive enough to refill our water and wine glasses and to check on us periodically but wasnt overbearing like some waiters can be. He recommended the shrimp firecracker as an appetizer and it was right on the money. We also both had the Super Tuscan wine which was very good. Our Filet Mignon was lightly seasoned and cooked to perfection (medium rare). We ordered the dessert sampler for two and our waiter surprised us by saying your dessert is on the house - happy anniversary!We couldnt have asked for a better dining experience and will continue to frequent Haven and recommend this fine restaurant to all of our friends!

    It’s not often that you find a restaurant with a great view and great food & service, but Haven totally exceeded my expectations. My husband and I had reservations outside for lunch (it was a gorgeous day), and the restaurant offered a really good variety on their brunch menu. We ordered the “Around the World” selection of oysters (some of the best I have ever had), and a bunch of starters—all great, but the pretzel crusted calamari were very special. Cocktails were expertly prepared as well. Ingredients are fresh, the dishes are creative and artfully plated, and you really can’t beat the view. Service is attentive and welcoming. Bathrooms are also great. Make a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside!

    Recently hosted my engagement party here and I’m still on cloud 9. The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing!! The staff is so friendly and continuously checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time. 10/10 recommend! My guest loved the food!!

    I had to take my time to explain how amazing this restaurant is. My friend and I came from out of state for a special occasion and ended up at this beautiful spot for brunch. Everything from the beautiful view, food, and staff was incredible. The service we received is beyond anything I’ve experienced. Thank you for the amazing visit! We will definitely be traveling back in the future ☺️

    I have visited Haven twice for brunch and left happy both times. The short rib Benedict is very good. The chicken and waffles are ok but the waffles are served a little too soft. The burger and breakfast sandwich are also good options. I think they should have the option of making mimosas with fresh orange juice for an enhanced experience. The service was very good.

    This was my boyfriend and I’s second year coming here for our anniversary. This year when we went the restaurant was offering a special menu which was the Valentine’s Day menu so we tried that for the first time because our anniversary is February 15th. The food is always amazing as well as the service. I could never give them anything less than 5 stars. The view from the restaurant and the aura inside is perfect for an intimate date night! We absolutely love this place and I will be back for my birthday in April!!

    My hubby took me here for my birthday and I was very pleased. We sat outside and the views were beautiful. Our waiter was very attentive but that extended beyond our waiter but everyone who walked by removed empty plates and refilled our glasses every chance they got. Wonderful service on that note. The food was exceptional. The sea scallops literally melted in our mouths, the octopus...charred to perfection and the mashup that came with with the octopus was delish. The dipping sauce that came with the chicken wings was unexpected and different but a wonderful complement. The drinks were not watered down and overall it was a great dining experience. Would highly recommend.

    Great food, delicious drinks. Loved the lychee lychee. I’m a sweet drink kind of gal so it was right up my alley. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The waiter was also friend and very attentive. Food was amazing. We had the rib-eye and skirt streak both were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We had their lobster Mac and cheese and truffle fries as sides which was delicious. We had the oysters as an appetizer which were very fresh. Second time here and we will definitely be returning.

    Fabulous dinner with an amazing view! the calamari was outstanding, the filet was perfect (though the thickest part could have been cooked a little more - not quite the medium I ordered); salmon was yummy and the chocolate cake was sinful! We loved the beautiful margaritas and lemon drop martinis as well. Would love go back and the other things on the menu! Spinach was meh, but we swapped it for the lobster 🦞 Mac and that was a huge hit!

    Went for a brunch with my girlfriend on our anniversary without a reservation- staff was super sweet and helpful getting us seats. We were in and out, ready for an appointment we had nearby, with top notch food. Drinks were amazing: we would come back just for the Bellinis. Scallops were amazing. Lobster Benedict was the best thing we had, the short rib benedict was slightly underseasoned imo but still delicious. 10/10 would come back a million times over

    I took my Daughter there in April for her birthday. From the moment we walked in the staff were awesome! The decor and ambiance are amazing. The appetizers, the Bread, the drinks and the food were fantastic! Well worth the price. It was so great we will be back for severe more celebrations.

    The atmosphere was beautiful, very scenic. Our server was very friendly. My steak was a bit rear than I like, I asked for medium well got medium raw. The appetizer, dessert and sides were great.

    This place is simply amazing. The staff was very attentive as soon as we walked in the door. We were a party of 6 and we were seated in very nice area. The decor was very soothing and warm.Our waiter was friendly and went above and beyond. My friend had just got married and picked the perfect place to celebrate.The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. The view was the cherry on top.Would definitely recommend you visit.

    My husband and I just had brunch here this morning to celebrate our dating anniversary. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! We chose to both do the prix fixe brunch option and between the two of us sampled all three drinks offered and all were delicious. He got the crispy chicken sandwich and I ordered the burger, both were very good. Haven has a great atmosphere, beautiful view and friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend!

    We hosted a big event at the restaurant, for a sad reason (a lunch for family and friends after a funeral). They were extraordinary: flexible in accommodating us, understanding about the nature of the occasion, and so communicative. They even organized valet parking. Fiona was our point of contact, and she was superb.And the food was exactly what we needed -- delicious, healthy comfort. The views, as many others have shared, were also great.

    Very nice restaurant with a great view of the city at night. Water right next to it place to sit outside when weather is hot or warm . Private party room restaurant/bar. Bathroom very clean uses real towel to wipe hands .Food for the sweet 16 birthday menus varies good portion . I had the lamb and mashed potato which was delicious. Meat was very tender. . Carrots were not as tender. I had to take some of my lamb home. Drinks were good.
