    Very enjoyable dinner at the UES Il Mulino. We came early on a Sunday evening and had such a peasant experience from start to finish. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the food is absolutely delicious. All around, a fantastic experience!

    Restaurant is beautiful and upscale, and it’s clear they are dedicated to providing great food and great service. Be aware though that they do charge $9 per water, regardless whether it’s tap or sparkling. I understand this is an upscale place, but this felt excessive and totally caught us off guard (we’re from NC), and we wish this would have been shared with us prior to them pouring it in our glasses. Otherwise, we had an awesome experience and will be back!

    We booked this wonderful restaurant which we have been to before, for my 40th birthday. Starting with George at the door, he was the nicest and most accommodating man who treated us like queens. And then there was Leo who was phenomenal and Z! The food, the service, the ambiance and how well we were treated was TEN stars. One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had!!!

    What an experience! The moment you sit down they greet you with a bread tray and this large Parmesan where the waiter slices and serves. They then come out with this sautéed zucchini which was sooo good and little pieces of bruschetta. All of this is served before you even get a menu. They pre split appetizers which is nice but I do prefer taking my own portions, still thoughtful. The portions are huge, and highly recommend if you order the chicken, share it cause it’s a lot and very good. Pasta was delicious and broccoli very flavourful.The waiters are very nice and enthusiastic. Highly recommend going here, it’s a great experience.

    I am writing this review because I want to give the server Leonel a big credit for his warm hospitality, humorous personality and very attentive service to customers. The restaurant is good, food is good but not like super outstanding, however, Leonel’s service makes my experience memorable! I noticed on the check that there is a line for “captain’s tips” so I asked him if he is our captain, but he is not a captain unfortunately. I found out our captain was just some random guy who came to our table 1 time to tell us what’s the special of the day. What a shame that I didn’t even notice about his service at all. However, Leonel was checking on us constantly to make sure we had everything we needed.Thank you! And I hope the restaurant will acknowledge that they have a gem (Leonel) in their team!

    My attorney friends and I went to II Mulino this Sunday. We preferred the Sunday deal (Four food courses). The food was excellent and delicious. My friends ordered Salmone Alla Griglia, Rigatoni alla bolognese. I ordered Scallopine Al Marsala. Ricotta Cheesecake was so good. The guys who served us, Busboy Adrian and Waiter, were friendly and nice. They treated us so nicely. The staff works so hard. I hope the owner keeps them. I will return to II Mulino and recommend it to my friends. We loved the place.

    Great for vegetarians. We ate here both lunch and dinner 4 times last week so when I say its good believe me. I cant vouch personally for any of the meat options, however the range of vegetarians options is fine and they all taste great. The service is also pretty good.

    Nice food, good decor, friendly staff. Expect an elevated version of a traditional Italian meal. While on the more expensive side, all of the food is great and you will be taken care off. All of the Il Mulino locations have their own flavor depending on neighborhood, but you can always expect a nice meal.

    Amazing food, the best service I ever had. My wife and friends loved the place. High quality food, comfortable great music, the waiters provided an excellent service. The lobster ravioli, veal and mushroom is amazing. If you love veal you must try it. The wine selection is great and the desert was really good. It was a nice time. The money spent was well worth it.

    Complimentary starters are always fabulous. Beet salad and artichoke/avocado salad were very good. The lobster Ravioli is always perfect. But the dover sole is consistently EXCEPTIONAL. Its prepared on a heated plate. It always arrives hot. This Mulinos hits a fastball!

    Went to Il Mulino for dinner with a group and it was a fantastic culinary experience. The food was delicious. I had the opportunity to try 6 different entree dishes and everything was simply amazing. The wait staff is extremely attentive. The atmosphere of this restaurant is great too. It can get noisy when the place is packed, but it felt very intimate nonetheless.

    First class all the way . From the Exceptional group of people working there to the comfy seats at the bar everything was spectacular . Started with flavorful bruschetta followed by a Light and airy radicchio salad , melt in your mouth ravioli that was warm coming straight from the pan and luscious tiramisu for dessert ! My only regret is that I hadn’t discovered this place sooner . You can expect to see me again soon Il Mulino Friends .

    Called in for a quick drink and ended up staying for 2 hours. We were treated so well by Wayne the bartender and Wayne the manager it was lovely. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Food was excellent.

    Modern Italian fine dining. Friendly waiters, we liked our waiter so much. One of the best Italian meals Ive had in New Your City. Mulino has a very nice atmosphere and is nicely decorated. They served generous proportions. I tried the Scampi and mushroom rissotto and they were clean, big and so tasty. They also make very good cocktails. II Mulino is located at 37 E. 60th St. New York City

    Went for dinner. Sunday night. At the beginning they served everyone with delicious parmesan cheese and various Italian breads. Then brisceta with tomatoes, a sliced sausage, and grilled sliced zucchini. Everything was delicious but zucchini was too oily but still good. Soft shell crab, was good but a bit salty. Chicken with mushrooms good. Risotto good, gnocchi good. Service excellent. White cloth linens and napkins. Some water glasses a bit stained/ dirty with prints of lips. Atmosphere pleasant. Menu hard to read in the dark. Many specials verbal only. Overall, 4.5 stars. Thank you!

    Table of 4 for lunch. Impeccable service and food. The staff was attentive and outstanding. The Burrata appetizer with watermelon was perfection. We ordered 2 and they kindly divided it into 4 for everyone in our party. I asked about the prawns as either an appetizer or main course, and he gave me an extra prawn with a smile for my entree. The Seafood Risotto was perfect, as well as the other 2 entrees. Atmosphere is what you expect from a high quality NYC restaurant and they delivered. Ill be back. When you find a place that knows how to please customers, go back again and again.

    My favorite place to visit every time I come to New York and truthfully, I’m Not even a big pasta lover. They always have specials, which are amazing, but I opted for my all time favorite Lobster ravioli with vodka sauce. I really wish they sold this sauce because it’s that good! The wait staff is always professional and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about the experience here.

    Went there with a large group of friends. Was pleasantly surprised at the vegetarian options. Had the beets salad, tricolor pasta and Tiramisu. The tricolor pasta(Red, white and Green of Italian flag) was super fresh and amazing. This was a mezzanine course but the restaurant was flexible enough to increase the quantity to a main course. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine there.

    The only warning i have about this restaurant is that service is very slow because it’s more of an experience. we got to the restaurant at around 4:40 and we didn’t leave until 6:30, if you don’t mind a long dinner than this is the place to be. il mulino has locations all around the states and i’ve only ever been to the trattoria at the swan hotel is disney world. both were amazing! they started us out with a hunk of parmigiana reggiano aged 24 months ,which if you ask they will give you more of. that was free which automatically makes it good but it was very wonderful. afterwards we received bread which consisted of a crostini and focaccia, both were amazing but be warned the crostini is filled with olive oil. afterwards we were offered fried zucchini and traditional bruschetta. the tomatoes used were so fresh and i absolutely loved the zucchini. i will say for reference we didn’t get our menus until 5:10 but we knew what we wanted so we ordered quickly. for appetizers we ordered the baked clams and the eggplant melanzane. i wasn’t a big fan of either, the eggplant was a little bland and the baked clams were a pretty basic flavor. the entrees are what stood out. we ordered the chicken parmigiana (which is what they’re known for), the chilean sea bass (a special) and i side order of the il mulino pasta (vodka cream, black truffle, pancetta, mushrooms and peas). we had the parm in florida too and both agreed that one was better because it had more sauce and cheese but this one was also amazing! the bass was the winner of the entrees, it was so buttery and came with broccoli rabe and a lemon sauce which was amazing! the pasta was our least favorite of the three but still good. there were not many mushrooms and neither one of us got pancetta but there were loads of peas if that’s what you like. the sauce was good but didn’t particularly taste like vodka sauce or truffle. at this point we were completely stuffed but the kitchen was so kind and sent us a dessert platter of ricotta cheesecake, tiramisu and flourless chocolate cake paired with homemade whipped cream and zabaione. the chocolate cake was the winner and the whipped cream was also fresh and slightly sweet. the tiramisu didn’t feel so fresh and was the least favorite of the three. the cheesecake was extremely light and had an underlying flavor of lemon. overall the experience was amazing, we had many waiters because we were the only party in the restaurant for the majority of our meal. the manager was also very attentive and nice. the atmosphere is quaint and wonderful with photos on the walls. i highly recommend this restaurant but just know that it will not be a quick bite.

    This place you simply have to visit. One of the best restaurants I have eaten in. The place is elegantly decorated with pictures of celebrities in a cozy yet romantic environment. The staff are friendly, attentive and very polite. As soon as yo sit, you are served a slice of cheese which is lovely. The food is superb, their ravioli is out of this world. Their salads are fresh and not pre-made and kept in the fridge like some places.     My favorite and my wifes favorite for more than a decade. Ive been to multiple locations and this one represents the art as well as any other.     Il Mulino is a higher-end Italian restaurant with multiple locations across the US and Puerto Rico. We visited the New York uptown location. The food was delicious, the drinks were well made, and the service outstanding. Highly recommended.

    Great place. Staff was so attentive and kind. The raviolis were insanely good and I appreciated the Limoncello before dessert. Romantic aura, could be awesome location for a date, can get quite busy so be sure of making a reservation.

    Went for a Restaurant Week lunch. I had the distinct impression that they dont really want RW customers. For example we had to ask for the RW menu and then they only gave us one copy. It took 2 requests to get butter and 2 to get more bread. And instead of being offered choices of bread as we were when seated a small plate of only a couple of varieties were provided.Food was very good and Id go back but service needs improvement.

    We dined here Monday night and the food and service were excellent as usual. They were packed by 6 put our waiter and the servers padding bread and cheese were professionalI had my favorite - the pasta frutti de mare and the fish was tender and juicy. Others in the party had scampi’s and lobster bisque. Everything was excellent.We will return

    Excellent food and even better service. Zdenko was the best! Loved the lobster arrabiata, Dover sole, and mushroom risotto.Others complained about the wine prices, but we found prices to be reasonable for a nice restaurant in NYC.Highly recommended.

    We went for our first time and wanted to like it. Tables are too close and waiters have a hard time delivering food....which is excellent and way too much so, going forward, no need for appetizer and also entree. Waiters are real pros working and happy and nice. Very expensive ($18 for a vodka on the rocks) but will wait for second try to comment really after we order smarter. Noise is a problem and that, obviously, comes with success

    What cant you say about Il Mulino? Its amazing. Food is spectacularly presented and each bite is a culinary experience. That being said, youre paying. This isnt your mom and pop share a plate Italian restaurant. The experience starts with a couple of salads and some chunks of parmesan. So good. Then they serve you whatever youd like. I had the osso buco and it was succulent. Dont hesitate.
