    Best local dive bar on the east side! Always great bartenders, crowd, music and drinks. One of the few authentic NYC spots still around. Can’t say enough good things about this place and the people that work here. Would give it 10 stars if I could ❤️

    A genuine, no-frills neighborhood dive of the best kind! Had so much fun one afternoon with friends visiting from California who really loved the low-key vibe of this bar.One of the friends had lived and worked as a photographer in NYC 30+ years ago, and mentioned that he misses being able to walk around and just pop into authentic local bars like this one.

    Another definitive dive bar. I had to stop here just because it looks old and scary from the outside with various beer neons blazing away. So I took a deep breath and tried to open the door and nothing….the door was locked right. As I stood there with a puzzled look on my face, the door buzzed open from somewhere remote. I walked in and looked around the dimly lit bar while wondering how I got in without knowing the secret password….lolz.Actually there is no password but the door is locked and the bartender has to buzz you in. I suppose that’s a safety feature since that part of the city could be considered “rough”. With that said, I found it was nothing but nice friendly people inside. Mostly if not all were locals. The bar has good prices and a really neat back open porch area that is covered in really cool graffiti art. The bathroom is equally festooned with similar local scribbling.I say take your chances and go here. You don’t see too many places that are original and irreverent like the International Bar.

    Really cool decorations here if you look closely. Theres a lot to pay attention to - nice place to drink alone. Easy to talk to people around you as well though.

    GREAT time at international bar. It reminds you of your favorite small town pub. Lots of places to sit, a cool little graffiti room in the back that makes for the perfect photo opportunity. Very reasonably priced drinks for the city and a super nice staff. Highly recommend checking it out.

    I loved this place. Super friendly, down to earth atmosphere. Molly, the owner, made me feel like her best friend after one drink. Be sure to check it out if youre in the neighborhood

    I love this place, I believe the owner also owns the Coal Yard. Its a great chill place to just hang and be a bar fly. Talk to your neighbors. Ive learned a lot about the lower east side just sitting and chatting with whos around me at this place.

    Definitely the definition of hole-in-the-wall. However, the well drinks are incredibly strong and way cheaper than anything youll find in the East Village. This is a great place to pre-game a night out or get really, really drunk. It can get pretty rowdy late at night on the weekends due to the cheap free-flowing alcohol.

    Neiboorhood bar if you havnt had enough to drink opens at 8 am exseept Sundays at 10am staff os great Molly owner bartends am till 1pm Clare is a gem wed threw fri 1pm to 8 and of Rob likes sports.jen and soya late nite bartenders love to party and Neil make sure to tip also back yard nice place to chill this bar is known as the vortex if you ate not a drinker dont go there drinks specials always.

    Sometimes in New York you walk through a little door and find yourself in a very large place. The character of this bar is enormous, beyond the expanse of it’s walls. The staff and the patrons are more entertaining and welcoming than any Broadway show. Go or don’t, I’m just happy it’s there.

    I love the atmosphere of this place BUT I will say the bouncer is very rude and insolent. I went back to the bar the day after I lost my wallet and he curtly told me there were none found. However when I called the bar a little while later, they said they had located it. I got it back (shoutout to the bartender! Thank you so much!) and were told there was a thick stack of other lost wallets, so why lie?

    Chill low-key bar thats pretty dim with inoffensive music and drinks at really good prices - especially non-well liquor drinks! Bartenders are friendly and the atmosphere is unique. Everyone is welcome! There are lots of seating options. Bathroom was nice and clean :) good place to spend your night!They have a $3 Budweiser can deal and an $8 Bud can and well shot deal as well. Liquor drinks are only $7 and my titos and soda water was only $9. The minimum is $10 which is pretty nice. Half price happy hour until 8pm.I visited on a saturday night and there were certainly people there but it wasnt crazy packed.Check this spot out :) its not the best spot in history but I liked it a lot!
