Me and friends met up to do some planning work. They had wifi and a shared password. We went during happy hour. I ordered the buffalo nachos and would recommend them. I also ordered shots at the end and they made us a sweet shot. Service was frequent and accommodating. I would recommend it. Its small but has a nice great friendly atmosphere.

Classic, classy, and VERY fun. This bar is so chill, so well managed, and so incredibly Irish. I’ve had a wonderful time watching ALL the Guinness get poured and I’m really excited to come back! Our son had us meet him, and his friends at this restaurant/pub. It didnt look so great on the outside so we were a bit hesitant. Stepping inside though, it was lovely. Nice, quaint, clean. Non bar atmosphere (even though there was one). It was exactly the sort of place we wanted to go to visit with these people.The food was fantastic! We loved the Guinness pie, and Fish and chips. Great service all around. So glad we took this chance. Wed go back again.

Eric the bartender is great company to have while drinking some of the best and unique whiskeys on they have on hand. This place is a must visit while in the city!

Phenomenal staff - had the absolute pleasure of working w this bar for a fundraising happy hour and Tony, Dan, Eric, Cesar and the whole team went above and beyond. In addition to being extreme generous, the bar itself is great - drinks, bites and atmosphere. Definitely a midtown east gem :)

One of the best bars in a neighbourhood heavily saturated in bars of the Irish kind. Great food, live music is always a help and the bartenders really enhanced my evening with funny stories of the wide variety of patrons he encounters in an area with plenty of characters. Will be back more often.

Stumbled upon Jamesons. Loved the name. Friendly bartender Danny knows how to pour a proper pint of Guinness. The grass fed beef hamburger lunch special was delicious. Did I mention it was only $10 and I could barely eat it all?! The cracked pepper mayo with the fries is divine. A mellow, clean, friendly and tasty spot to stop in for food or just a drink and some conversation.

Great bar with a lot of people and a great atmosphere! This bar was full of firefighters when I was there. Im guessing it was because of the St. Paddys day parade. I would visit again if I was in the Upper East side and needed a reliable Irish pub to go to!

The bartender, whose name may be Daniel or it may be Peter - hell, it might be Daniel-Peter, is extremely hospitable. I love the fact that they have a Touchtunes jukebox, so I can play whatever I want. In general, the bar doesn’t really have a lived-in feel yet, so it’s fresh and clean! The happy hour is 11-7 Monday through Friday, just in case you’re in need of that mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

Love this place for the cozy atmosphere and good burgers. Live music is a plus except when the entertainment gets too loud and goes all Lady Gaga with the banjo. Go when Danny, the Irish bartender with the bow tie is there. Hes charming and engaging. Other staff seems to be...alive and able to balance a drink on a tray.

Although I have not ordered food from here, they have many different kinds of drinks available (beer, spirits, etc). Classic old-school Irish pub. Free live music on Fridays from 9pm to 12am (yes, no cover but tips are appreciated). Great neighborhood pub, though its not very easy to notice.And yes, they have Magners. However, pints are $7/$8 outside of Happy Hour.Also its not as loud as many of the other bars in the area. Many tables, especially in the back.
