    Dropped by here for dinner while walking through NYC. This is a Pub and still family friendly. The good we ate was amazing and soooooo delicious! The Burgers were cooked perfectly to medium/rare and the fish and chips were tender and juicy. My kids are picky eaters and they cleaned their plates. Not a single bite left!! The cook did a great job preparing the meals.The server working Monday night was awesome!! He worked the entire restaurant alone and didnt disappoint. He checked on us often and did an amazing job. It was very refreshing seeing a server who works so efficiently.We will definitely return and recommend to anyone!

    Small bar. Good service. But very narrow Ave uncomfortably tight. A few table in the rear. Pretty crowded for a 5pm weekday visit. Outdoor seating available. Noisy, as most good bars tend to be. Did not stay to eat.

    Best food and service in New York. Ordered Classic Burger and Fish & Chips. The best sauces and cooked to prefection. Portioning was great (more European than American). We went, just before Christmas, it was extra busy but we got a table, and our server Sonia could not have been better. So Friendly and Efficient.A must visit.

    Judge Roy Bean Public House is a decent spot for a beer. They have a pretty large menu for both taps and bottles / cans. The service is solid. There is decent seating for groups of 2 and 4, with a handful of larger spots (e.g., a table along a wall with 5 bar stools), as well as a very long bar. Prices are fine for NYC and it can be packed but most of the time isnt too bad.

    We just stopped by for a drink and restroom break. Hubby got a Brooklyn IPA and I had a blueberry lemonade. Delicious drinks and clean restrooms.

    This place is the real deal. Great craft beer pub/ restaurant right in the middle of midtown. They have three TVs which is perfect for watching the game. Their beer list is thoughtful, with a variety of beers from the best breweries across the spectrum. I will definitely be here often.

    A packed pub even on a weekday, only a few steps from where we are staying. Decent beer and food offerings. We had the buffalo cauli and stuffed jalapeños. Not bad and would come back.

    We found this place when Googling pub near us... Its a small, warm and excellent place. Id say more of an Irish pub just because many of the servers seem to be from Ireland. We ended up eating and drinking there three times during our trip... Great draft beer and whiskey selection. Food was typical pub food - burgers, fries, fish and chips, etc... The service was quick and friendly. We had a great time chatting it up with them.

    Super friendly bartender! I had the JRB burger and have to say it’s the BEST burger I have ever had. The man next to us said the same! Great relaxed pub atmosphere too. They make their owned jalepeno tequila and amazing spicy margaritas!

    Great bar, great bartender. I loved the quaintness of this place. Good character, especially in a neighborhood that is often touristy. My biggest problem is the $10 price tag for a Guinness and it wasn’t even in a proper pint glass. It was in one of those mini Guinness glasses.

    I’ve been coming here for years now during my lunch. They have, quite literally, the best chicken caesar wrap I’ve ever had. Seriously. I don’t know what they put in that homemade dressing, but it’s gold. Plus, everyone is so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend. One of my favorite spots in the city.

    I was not expecting to have such an awesome meal at what I thought was just your average pub looking from the outside in—this “pub” is far from average. Very cool, old school atmosphere, quick service, good selection of beers and cocktails, seriously delicious food. Got the Philly spring rolls (they come with ketchup but ask for the jalapeño garlic aioli), the JRB Burger with Cajun fries, and the truffle mac & cheese. Everything was perfect—cooked perfectly, not greasy, super fresh, flavorful, juicy, cheesy, truffle-y…please excuse me while I wipe the drool from my face.

    We stopped on St. Patricks Day and it was a great decision. The staff couldn’t be more friendly. The service was unbelievable even though they were packed. The Guinness was the absolute best and the patrons were all friendly. The NYFD had a large presence and they were truly great people. Stop there and you won’t regret it.

    Great bar! They show UFC PPVs! Paddy at the bar was a good lad to chat with. The Philly spring rolls are delicious - would be even better with a cheese sauce. I stayed down the street and came like 3 times over 10 days. Only complaint is the Jameson is pricey but thats NY!

    Pretty standard bar. It lacks the midtown tourist feel and is frequented more by working/business people catching a drink during happy hour.Only had the buffalo wings, but they were pretty good. Looking at the other food coming out to the bar, the nachos looks great!The beer least was fairly standard a small selection covering a wide range.Definitely a good option if youre looking to grab a drink after work or wanting to get around from the usual midtown crowds.

    We had the pleasure of eating lunch at Judge Roy after visiting Rockefeller plaza with my family who was visiting out of town. Everything was great! I called ahead and they were able to accommodate a party of 17 last minute (mix of adults and small children) in their back seating area. The food was delicious! Our group enjoyed the burgers, mac and cheese, salad, nachos and brussels sprouts. The drinks were great (particularly their Holiday Moscow Mule) & the best part was the service! Our hostess was extremely attentive to all our needs/asks; especially with small children. The pub is very cozy & very family friendly. 1000% would highly recommend this place if your visiting in the area especially since it was one of the most affordable options we found!

    This quaint little bar/ restaurant was recommended to me and I glad I took the recommendation. We went on a friday evening and took a few minutes to get a seat at the bar but the bartender was awesome and got us a table in a few minutes. Our food was great I had wings and one of their signature salads. My wife had one of their burgers. Again great food really nice bar and prices were very fair.

    Stopped by for a quick bite after walking and shopping all day. Was very impressed by the cozy environment. Food is good quality pub fare. They offered a 10 burger special with a beer which I think is quite the deal in NYC. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick, hearty meal.

    Let me start by saying that Derrick, the owner, is on the ground and is an amazing host! We returned from UK in the last 3 weeks and when we looked inside we found a very authentic pub. It only gets better. The Food was out of this world. I had both of their signature beers, the IPA was the best but the Lager was very good and light. There is not one bad thing to say about this accept that it is 1144 miles from our home!! We will be back and you should not miss this!!!

    Above average bar food. Highly recommend the mac and cheese bites, but the chicken fingers and nachos were just average. The vibe inside is chill and nicely lit, with a long bar and tables in the front and back. Service was pretty quick even though it was crowded that night.

    Outstanding selection of draft beers on tap, super friendly staff and delicious food items to boot. The decor is cozy, clean, and well kept. Prices for both food and alcohol items are just about right, and the crowd is also friendly and not too rowdy. Overall great spot for a quick pint of beer after work.

    Five stars is for PATRICK!!! the best bartender I ever encountered!!! so caring and so attentive when it comes to serving his customers. but ZERO STARS go for CONNOR! the WORST bartender ever!!!!!!!! he can’t tell when someone is having a good time or beyond wasted. he kicked my friends and i out for having fun apparently. won’t go back if he’s there honestly. need a better bartender thats actually experienced than Connor.

    This is the rite place to get a drink. Good selection of different beers - pilsner, Guinness and their own IPA is really great. Interesting crowd. Unfortunately, I didn’t try any food, but the kitchen looks very authentic!

    Excellent craft beer and cocktail bar in midtown. Went there before dinner at a nearby restaurant, and then went back there after dinner to have another drink. The vibe is very laid back, bartenders are great, and the selection is pretty extensive. Its not a beer bar in the traditional sense but they have a very good selection of craft beers.

    I love this bar, really wish I had a reason to be in the area but I used to go regularly when I worked nearby. Good bar food, beer and wine selection, and bartenders are super friendly. Their happy hour is not much to write home about but I always enjoy coming here, everyone always seems to be having a great time. It’s not a specialty or anything but I love their Sauvignon blanc.

    The floor plan is very narrow. The deeper part is rather cramped. Decorum is positioned as not yet another Midtown Irish bar is overall rather modest Walls are mostly exposed brick. Menu is okay but the cocktails are great.

    Ended our night from Australia at this amazing place. I never write reviews but this was such an amazing bunch of people at one time in New York!!! The banter was, if you can dish it out then you better be able to take it but in a NYC way.We met our first REAL NY’er in there and man was Jennifer a character!!Please open one like this back by me!!!

    Seems like I’m always stumbling across decent spots due to my first choice being unavailable — I can live with that. I was out of town for a conference last week when I really wanted Indian food… the restaurant of choice was on full so I walked down the block and read the menu here and thought I’d try it. I eat fish, but no red meat or poultry, so was crossing my fingers that their salmon burger would be ok, since most places get it wrong. I was pleasantly surprised. The patty was yummy and the fries were probably the highlight. Fyi - if you order a “side” of fries, it’s good for at at least 3 ppl to share.Also service was friendly and we were seated quickly, which can often be hard at peak dinner hours in Manhattan. Enjoy!

    Delicious burgers Real fries!The buffalo chicken burger was tasty and filling. It comes with blue cheese and lettuce and buffalo sauce of course. The fries are the nice meaty fries with the skins still on them. Definitely a bar that serves food. Not a restaurant that serves liquor.

    We were welcomed right in and offered a table. Prompt and friendly service. Beer and Drinks within a couple minutes, dinner was fresh and hot, picked right out of the kitchen window and straight to our table. I’d highly recommend you come sit, eat and drink to your content! Prices were totally reasonable and I’ll definitely return.

    The bartender is a super friendly guy who made the whole place run. He was taking orders, making drinks, giving recommendations, serving food, shooting the breeze. It was a one-man show. Never seen anything like it or since anywhere. In San Francisco, where Im from, it takes 4 people to give you 20% the service we saw here. We stopped for drinks after a walk in Central Park, and we just had to have the food, which was pretty good.

    Very good burger place in Manhattan, with a rather short list of burgers, but all high quality.Prices are Manhattan-levels, unfortunately: the best burgers cost well over 20 USD, even over 30 for the top one (plus vat + tip, as usual in the US).Id still recommend it, but be prepared to pay a hefty bill to eat your juicy burger.PS The beer list is also good.
