    Have been coming to Lorraine’s for a while before the current revamp and I feel like the revamp made it better! It is Black & family-owned.The bar is a casual setting, keep in mind that there isn’t a dress code! I’ve seen people come in after weddings!There are different themed nights and they bring in different DJs. The staff is either family, friends, or Harlem locals, and you can even bring your own food if you need some backup for those strong drinks. Drinks are fairly low, a Don Julio Margarita is $15, and if you have Laray or Tracey make them be prepared !! There are even nights where there are $100 bottles of Moet. The bar can get packed, so there is sometimes a bit of wait, but the bartenders never forget! There is a homey aspect and the bartenders even remember names and orders.The vibe? Local, chill, and all about dancing! The crowd can be mature but to be honest between the drinks and the DJ you will be moving! The music is mostly Hip Hob & R&B, with a sprinkle of reggae or AfroBeats. The music gets louder to make it a party vibe during the later hours on the weekend.Whether you’re pre-gaming, winding down, or just want a casual night out (weekends or when DJHoody pulls up), this is the spot!

    If you are looking for reasonably price drinks and great music then this is the place to be . There is a different Dj daily and happy hour .

    What more do want? Old school Harlem joint. Good food..Good peoples..good energy. Took me back and had me reminisce on things. Watched the yankee game and chopped it up with good people. Service is top notch and will be back. Lorraine is wonderful. PS The music is on point as well.

    Cool place, clean, professional, strong n extensive drinks, DJ FRANK Nitty, what ever night hes there prepare to sweat, playing the jams from your childhood to now. He s off the chain! goin next Friday night!

    Talk about your neighborhood hangout...this is the place. I didnt feel like staying home for game 6 Golden State vs. Cleveland but I didnt want the buppie crowd either. I heard about Just Lorraines Place and decided to give it a try. No fancy menus...No overpriced wine list...No linen tablecloths or dinner reservations. This is the place you go to when you want people to know your name and call you cousin. Ive been to countless Harlem watering holes but none cared about me like this place did. Thirty seconds in the door and I was greeted by Lorraine herself. She made it clear that she was happy to see me although I was a stranger. She offered me some of the burgers being grilled (Im a vegan so politely declined), suggested I join the Bid Whist game going down in the back, introduced me around like I was...FAMILY!DRINKS: Made like youd make then at home.FOOD: No kitchen but the grill gets fired up.ATMOSPHERE: Imagine aunties living room after the plastic was taken off the furniture.Overall if you want to pull off your suit and tie...step out your heels...throw on your jeans, sweats, etc and feel like youre at home watching the game with a few cousins around you...Go Here!

    I Stopped by Just Lorraines after an event at the Schomburg. Its a Cozy Old School Spot with a long Wooden Bar. Drinks were Good and Cheap. There were Men an Women getting there Drink On, without Music! The Server Offered up some free Chicken Wings! I had a Good Time... Check it Out!!

    The people the atmosphere omg 😱 i absolutely love it. Its like ur accepted n here ur not looked at different not treated differently n the drinks here are delicious. Fair warning dont drink too many slushes they are creepers lol ur bound to get wasted dont say i didnt warn u 😂. Other than that the people here so nice n they treats u like family well oriented well mannered respectful loving kind considerate n they keep coming asking if u are ok n if u need anything. Never have i seen anyone or anything quite like it. Its going to be my new favorite spot now. Ima go there n shake it 😂.
