This place is classically lovely. Great coffee and ambience, vaulted high ceilings and spacious seating areas. My only qualm is the presentation of the food. Coffee comes in cups but salad in plastic containers?!? -
Review 2 (2019-12-04 - Rating: 5)
The ambiance, decor, coffee, chocolate cake, and cheesecake were all absolutely amazing! -
Review 3 (2019-02-27 - Rating: 5)
Beautiful place for a cocktail or simply for a delicious cappuccino - cappuccino that you will pay close to $10 but I think that it is worth it. -
Review 4 (2017-12-15 - Rating: 5)
Great place in midtown for a fancy drink!! Very classy!! -
Review 5 (2019-11-24 - Rating: 4)
Very tony coffee shop and bar. Great ambiance and good place to take a date or close friends. Latte is $8 but smooth; dessert is tasty. Pricey but the ambiance, decor and seating make it worthwhile. -
Review 6 (2019-06-09 - Rating: 5)
Nice little coffee spot, spent hour here with girlfriend. -
Review 7 (2019-01-07 - Rating: 5)
This place is amazing! Absolutely worth paying the $8 for a coffee. I got a cappuccino and my wife got a latte and they were both incredible. Definitely high quality. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in New York! -
Review 8 (2019-11-02 - Rating: 5)
Beautiful decor. Delicious cocktails. Cozy ambience. Great dessert and snacks. Love coming here! -
Review 9 (2019-03-01 - Rating: 5)
The cocktails were expensive, but they consisted of a decent amount. I got drinks there before the restaurant, Indian Accent, opened at 5pm since it is right next door. -
Review 10 (2018-12-10 - Rating: 5)
I love this place. Ive only been to NYC twice but when I need a place to relax from the maddnes I head here. The manager Megan is a treasure. She is able to handle the whole place and still find time to help an overwhelmed Nova Scotian with detailed instructions and suggestions. Food is delicious and the tea is delicious. My go to spot in NYC... Ill be back. -
Review 11 (2018-03-10 - Rating: 5)

Awesome, great atmosphere. I always enjoy my time here for business or a friendly chat. -
Review 14 (2017-08-02 - Rating: 4)
Lovely change of pace from your average coffee shop, the food and beverages are fine but what youre really paying for is the unique setting and ambiance. -
Review 15 (2015-12-21 - Rating: 5)
Great service and a lovely place to sit and plan your day if you are staying at the hotel -
Review 16 (2019-01-03 - Rating: 4)
Lovely decor. A wonderful place to stop and enjoy the uniqueness of NYC. -
Review 17 (2019-05-30 - Rating: 5)
Beautiful for cocktails with good company. The vibe is sophisticated. -
Review 18 (2016-06-18 - Rating: 4)
Cuter, Quaint, expensive and a great place for a first date coffee or drink. -
Review 19 (2020-03-06 - Rating: 5)
Clean lovely place and great food and service! -
Review 20 (2019-06-20 - Rating: 4)
Really good desserts and coffee. Fancy posh atmosphere. Overpriced and the service doesn’t match. I thinks it’s a nice treat for someone not from NYC or for a special afternoon dessert with champagne (if you appreciate the aesthetics). -
Review 21 (2019-07-30 - Rating: 5)
An enchanting haven from the bustling streets of midtown where you can sip your tea or cocktail with tunes of jazz or light classical music. It is a favorite spot to relax after a long day or meet a friend for a meeting. The lights do dim in the early evening to give a perfect ambiance to the start of your evening. Hotel prices are to be expected but it is well worth the experience. -
Review 22 (2018-02-17 - Rating: 5)
Beautiful location to meet and grab a bite to eat. -
Review 23 (2018-04-24 - Rating: 4)
I love this place. Whenever I want to meet someone for a drink (also good if one wants alcohol and the other person wants a tea) in a more intimate and comfortable atmosphere where you can lean back and have a serious chat, this is where I go at night.Even for NYC, this place is overpriced & the service is hit or miss (sometimes downright rude), but the atmosphere is definitely worth checking out. -
Review 24 (2019-03-12 - Rating: 5)
This is the bar in my go to NYC hotel. The bar has a great old school vibe with plush beaches. They also make a mean margarita, from scratch no mixes! To me that is the epitome of good bar service. After a day of meetings this is where I end up to unwind and have some tequila. -
Review 25 (2015-06-18 - Rating: 5)
Amazingly fancy and a very unique place. -
Review 26 (2019-03-29 - Rating: 5)
A bit over the top, but when in Rome ... Makes for an ambient mid-morning coffee. -
Review 27 (2019-01-25 - Rating: 4)
Great atmosphere with a great drink selection. The price of the drinks are high, even for NYC prices, in my opinion. The free nuts are nice though. -
Review 28 (2020-01-22 - Rating: 4)
Fancy but feels like needs some refresh with furniture -
Review 29 (2019-09-06 - Rating: 4)
Great coffee, beautiful atmosphere, and friendly staff. However, the prices are kind of ridiculous (ie. $11 for a cappuccino with oat milk). It is in a very nice hotel, so I guess they are catering to their clientele. -
Review 30 (2019-07-09 - Rating: 4)
Insanely beautiful venue as you can see from the pictures. Drinks are very expensive here, 2 cocktails runs you about $40+. You are absolutely paying for the environment and the scenery, because the drinks are nothing special. -
Review 31 (2019-08-10 - Rating: 5)
Elegant ambiance. So-so service. Upscale. -
Review 32 (2018-01-27 - Rating: 4)
Service is slow drinks are expensive, olives are awesome! -
Review 33 (2016-12-26 - Rating: 4)
Not cheap. Two sandwiches. Cheese plate. Coffee and two hot teas = $77. Smoked salmon w cream cheese cucumber on bread was superb. -
Review 34 (2012-01-09 - Rating: 4)
A long ornate hallway with table service, friendly baristas, good cocktails. Nice place for business drinks. Cappuccino was not bad. -
Review 35 (2019-03-11 - Rating: 4)

Review 36 (2018-12-05 - Rating: 4)

Review 39 (2018-02-04 - Rating: 4)
Great ambiance. Mediocre service given that it was not busy and the hotel premium prices they charge. -

Review 62 (2018-03-30 - Rating: 5)
Although it has a calm atmosphere, it is a mysterious space that also serves as a passageway from the hotel to 57th Street. Ornate chairs, nice cushions, a ceiling as high as a hotel lobby, and jazz music playing quietly. There were families eating sandwiches, and stylish couples. I want to go again and again. -
Review 63 (2018-04-16 - Rating: 4)
