Went for brunch on a weekday morning.First, the good: The food was amazing. Point blank. Maybe one of the best French toast Ive ever had. Croque forestier was rich and roasted to perfection. Now, the bad: Its a bit hard to enjoy the food because it is WAY too small and gets loud. I get NYC leasing is tough and the establishment probably wants to pack as many tables as they can, but you are literally elbowing one another and talking over the next table. I was hit several times as people awkwardly shuffled around me, and a nearby table even knocked over their glasses as they stood up to leave. Maybe because of the overcrowding, wait staff (who were very kind and polite) seemed a bit overwhelmed. I bet the cooks also felt it, as food took maybe 40 minutes to arrive (2 sandwiches and French toast for two people). We were so hungry and a bit annoyed by then. Conclusion: Lots of potential but def needs to address the overcrowding and long wait times for food before I can recommend it to others.

Chicken salad brioche sandwich was not what I was expecting but still great! Was skeptical when I saw the line was long and there was a crowd outside. They said only 15 minutes which I didn’t believe but got Seated in less than 10.Nice vibes with very friendly staff. Intimate atmosphere.Somewhat limited menu, but the those things they have are vetted.A a few tables around me got French toast, which looks delicious!Their baked goods also were good. Homemade chocolate chip cookies always are go to, and although it was a little too sweet, it was still worth getting.

My favorite brunch place whenever I am in lower manhattan. From the ambiance to the service to the people, everything is impeccable. Only thing to keep in mind is before you go, do put your name on the Yelp waitlist as it gets crowded on the weekend. We ordered avocado toast, almond croissant and a sandwich. Everything tasted really good. They do have a lot of pastry options so do check it out.

  • Review 4 (2024-11-08 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely delicious! We had breakfast here and were blown away by the food. Small place that legit feels like a Parisian cafe, however, I’m willing to say the French toast was better than any French toast I had in France. So there’s that! So so so good!

  • Review 5 (2024-11-08 - Rating: 4)

Cute little cafe, tables very cramped up if you are tall. Coffee could have been a bit stronger for our liking. Service was efficient but not overly friendly. Food was good not great (Blueberry French toast very tasty, Croque madame was just a toasted cheese sandwich) but very pricey even for NYC.

  • Review 6 (2024-12-17 - Rating: 5)

This place is definitely worth the hype. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. I got the French toast and OH MY GOD. The best French toast I’ve ever had, hands down. Thick slices of brioche with so much flavor. Only downside is that it is a bit cramped in there, though that’s most cafes in nyc. If you need a more accessible seating arrangement, I’d suggest visiting when the weather is nice so you can sit outside. Or try going at a slower time.

  • Review 7 (2024-11-20 - Rating: 4)

We got there late in the morning and had no trouble finding seats, even though the place is tiny and the tables are packed pretty close together. If you’re not into sitting super close to strangers, you might want to ask for a seat outside, just keep in mind they’re harder to snag.I’m usually all about veggies, even for breakfast, but I couldn’t pass up their classic French toast. It was absolutely delicious, totally worth it! My wife had a Croque Madame, which was also excellent. The service was okay. They seemed a bit understaffed, so it took a while to ask the waitress questions or place our order. That said, it didn’t really affect our overall experience negatively.

  • Review 8 (2025-01-04 - Rating: 5)

Stopped by this cozy spot for a quick brunch. Its a small place, but we didn’t have to wait at all for a table for two. We went with the classic avocado toast and lox on a bagel, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. While it’s a bit on the expensive side, given its location in the city, it’s definitely worth the visit. The service was great, and the staff were super friendly. I’d highly recommend it!

Authentic French Cuisine Experience. La Parisienne, breakfast restaurant with a delightful French flair.I started with Burrata & Roasted Tomato dish. The burrata was creamy and fresh, perfectly paired with sweet, roasted cherry tomatoes and drizzled with a light basil-infused olive oil. The balance of flavors was exquisite, and the accompanying toasted baguette slices were ideal for scooping up the decadent cheese and tomatoes. Also tried Croque Forestier. The sautéed wild mushrooms and melted Gruyère cheese sandwiched between slices of perfectly toasted bread, all topped with a creamy béchamel sauce was delicious. The earthy flavors of the mushrooms complemented the richness of the cheese and sauce, making for a hearty and satisfying dish. The macchiato was excellent—strong, bold, and perfectly layered with just the right amount of frothy milk. It was a great complement to the meal, especially if you prefer a rich espresso flavor.Service was delayed due to the rush hour crowd, but the food made it worth the wait. The seating, however, is a bit cramped, especially during busy times, which may not be ideal for larger groups or those looking for more space. The restaurant’s entrance, which faces southwest, is wheelchair accessible.I highly recommend this place I’ll definitely be returning.

  • Review 10 (2024-12-19 - Rating: 5)

A great little French spot in the heart of Financial District. The place is small but packed with regulars. The warm goat cheese salad (with egg) was wonderful.

  • Review 11 (2025-01-02 - Rating: 5)

The TLDR; arguably one of the best breakfast cafés in FiDi, with an authentic French charm and excellent service.Food: Our order included a matcha soy latte (which comes unsweetened, which I so appreciate), a café americano, the Croque Madame and the French Toast. Everything was high quality and spectacular. The French Toast was probably the best Ive ever had and the Croque Madames bechamel sauce was fantastic. The eggs were cooked perfectly on the Croque Madame, and the ham wasnt too salty or heavy, serving as the perfect complement to the dish.Wait: You have the option of joining the waitlist remotely via their Yelp app (you dont need Yelp to download this, just join the waitlist when pulling this place up on Google). The waitlist isnt as long as it states because I find that people tend to leave. The wait was even shorter for us in the winter when we were willing to sit outside on a nice day. You still get as good of service when you sit outside by the way, with the fresh air of not being crammed inside! If you want to sit inside though, you may have to wait a little longer if you want a dedicated table vs. the bar.Service: Very sweet, attentive service from all the staff, starting from the lady checking us in and giving us info about the availability of the tables to the kind woman tending our table!Amenities: There is a restroom in the restaurant, all genders which is nice. Lots of pastries you can also just buy to go, which looked scrumptious.5/5 I definitely recommend going if youre ever in FiDi! They are open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and I believe dinner (they have a Happy Hour)!

  • Review 12 (2024-11-09 - Rating: 5)

My husband and I came from Houston on our honeymoon and the first day we arrived at this place and we both loved it. Throughout our stay we had a great time here, the service was excellent and the food was spectacular. We recommend it and we hope to visit it when we return.

  • Review 13 (2024-10-22 - Rating: 4)

Chocolate lava cake was great with the Vanilla ice cream, unfortunately by the time I went, most of the pastries were sold out already 🤐

  • Review 14 (2024-07-05 - Rating: 5)

The French toast is absolutely amazing. However the coffee is not that good as the milk is a bit strange. If you want to dine in, make sure you arrive earlier. Otherwise you might need to wait for 20-30 minutes.

  • Review 15 (2024-05-25 - Rating: 5)

This quaint sidewalk cafe features delectable pastries, light, flavorful fare, and hard to find French groceries! Our Server, Francis, was very accommodating and pleasant. We had a quinoa bowl and avocado toast. It was delicious. The coffee was great. Can’t wait to go back.

  • Review 16 (2024-09-22 - Rating: 5)

I walked in here almost 2 years ago and it has been one of best decisions I’ve ever made. I remember the waiting list and to be honest as soon as I tried the food there, I understood why there was a waiting list to seat in this place. I can’t wait to visit again. The best breakfast/ brunch spot ever🤤 🤌🏻

  • Review 17 (2024-07-11 - Rating: 4)

Small space but great service. Visited for sit-down breakfast on a weekday morning - they open a 7:30am but can get packed very quickly. Ordered the salmon brioche, which was soft, flavorful, and delicious. Would like to return for lunch or happy hour one day!

  • Review 18 (2024-05-09 - Rating: 5)

Came to this spot for a nice quick brunch. A small restaurant but did not wait at all to get a table for 2. We got our basic avocado toast and lox on a bagel and I tell you it was amazing. A bit on the pricier side since it’s in the city but def worth a try. The service was good and the staff were very nice. Would recommend.

  • Review 19 (2024-12-17 - Rating: 5)

Omg I really love this place !!!! I ate avocado toast and French toast. My friends salmon brioche and it’s was really incredible!!!!! 👍🏻 100% recommend….

  • Review 20 (2024-11-30 - Rating: 5)

5 stars all the way. The French Toast in the picture was sooooo good. Seriously. You will get plenty with this breakfast dish.Update on 11-30-24:Such a pleasant location to have breakfast! I had the French Toast again. Just as good as before.

  • Review 21 (2024-12-26 - Rating: 5)

The workers were beyond sweet and gave my family and I prompt service. I loved the cozy atmosphere and the food. I ordered the Salmon Brioche (i think) and it was delicious! This shop is a must visit when you are visiting nyc :)

  • Review 22 (2024-08-08 - Rating: 5)

The food, the atmosphere, Idek where to begin. Warm welcome from all the employees and such a great vibe all around. Food is 10/10 no complaints. Really good French brunch spot

  • Review 23 (2024-12-06 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food! Very tight and small spots. I’m only 1m75 and I was struggling, can’t imagine if you are taller and bigger..

  • Review 24 (2024-07-02 - Rating: 4)

The food was good, but I got a very small breakfast croissant. Would have loved to see a bit more meat and cheese in the sandwich. The latte was excellent though =)

  • Review 25 (2024-12-28 - Rating: 5)

Stopped by this place for a quick brunch and was pleasantly surprised. Although its a small restaurant, we were seated immediately without any wait for a table for two. We ordered the classic avocado toast and a lox bagel, and both were fantastic. It is a bit more expensive due to its city location, but definitely worth trying. The service was efficient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!I really like this place. You can come once if you want.

  • Review 26 (2024-11-21 - Rating: 5)

Ordered the Avocado Toast with soft boiled egg, the fruit bowl, and Cafe au lait. Very tasty and fresh. Charmingly run by French couple; she’s from Paris

  • Review 27 (2024-12-17 - Rating: 5)

The four of us had a wonderful experience. Short wait, our server was very friendly and served us quickly. My family and I all enjoyed our dishes. And to top it off, it was the best french toast Ive ever had.

  • Review 28 (2024-11-08 - Rating: 5)

Came here at open on a Sunday morning. Sat at the bar stool next to the kitchen. Great service and food. As a former restaurant employee was awesome to watch the lone cook crank out all the food for a full house of brunch enthusiasts. They managed to misplace my order and offered me complimentary French toast and a mimosa. Great service recovery.Lovely french atmosphere but upbeat and not stuffy. No more scaffolding on the outside as of Nov 3, 2024 ( there is on the google maps pic). So sitting outside would be nice on a warm day as well.Food was delicious and service attentive but not overbearing. Dont hesitate to go, but get there early on the weekend!

  • Review 29 (2023-09-21 - Rating: 4)

La Parisienne was a quaint, relaxing brunch spot on a sunny Friday morning. There was a short wait for us to be seated which was perfectly fair and seats were being turned over quickly. The menu was fairly varied, filled with typical French options. The pastries and breakfast sandwich I had were well above average, however I mostly preferred the mimosa and fruit available. Nice brunch experience with great service overall.

  • Review 30 (2024-10-06 - Rating: 5)

The first and best French toast I’ve ever had. And I doubt I’m going to have a better one anytime soon. The service was great too.

  • Review 31 (2023-10-21 - Rating: 5)

The host (and owner I think) is soooo nice. She greeted us and let us know about our table. She gave us coffee and water while we waited. The rest of the staff is super polite and walked us through the menu. The french toast is delicious! The coffee too. Everything was tasty and hit the spot. Will come back for sure!

  • Review 32 (2024-08-07 - Rating: 4)

Delightful hole in the wall place — though this means it can get cramped! Didn’t have to wait long though and the server found me a spot outside. Service was impeccable and helpful. After much deliberation, I ordered the French Ravioles — with comté & parmesan cheese and chives. I asked for a small lightly dressed salad on the side and finished with a pure green pressed juice. All in all, hit the spot and will return just for the Ravioles.

  • Review 33 (2024-11-06 - Rating: 5)

I hosted a group of 8 people for work in the private event space and the atmosphere and experience was incredible! The food was very good, but what I liked most was the space. It catered to an intimate setting where voices could be heard and everyone could see each other. The dialogue the space created worked very well for this business breakfast. Thank you so much!

  • Review 34 (2024-01-24 - Rating: 4)

I had dined here multiple times prior to the pandemic and loved their French toast. Prices seem to be way over now perhaps due to rent and costs rising. As such, I find it not as good value for money anymore for the French toast or the avocado one. Finally came back last Saturday. It’s still as quaint and cozy. Croissants were good. Staff was nice and attentive.

  • Review 35 (2024-06-21 - Rating: 5)

This is a super cute cafe nestled in the lanes of New York Stock Exchange on financial district. We went around sundowner and they have happy hour on wines. We had their very popular iced latte and Cappuccino with vanilla syrup to go with their in house bread pudding. Omg, everting tasted so good and was a perfect fuel for our bodies to take in the rest of the day. And the owner herself was doing the service which I loved

  • Review 36 (2024-03-09 - Rating: 5)

Quaint little cafe with excellent pastries and bread.Ordered a Croque Madame (with egg) and French Toast to share and both were lovely. I could tell the brioche and croissants would be lovely too.It is a small cafe and they only serve walk-ins. Hence it is not advisable to come in a group more than 4.

  • Review 37 (2024-08-18 - Rating: 5)

A great find close to our hotel. So good we ate breakfast twice during our stay in NYC.

  • Review 38 (2023-10-24 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food, it came really fast :) Staff was very nice and kind and even there were plenty of people waiting in front of entrance, we fitted in quite fast :) We really enjoyed it here and definitely come back :) So far the best brunch in NY!

  • Review 39 (2023-06-08 - Rating: 5)

If this is not the greatest little gem in the area, I dont know what is!!! We read the reviews and chose to have a post-cruise breakfast here. I love how easy it is to enter your name on the wait-list tablet and then be called in. Despite signs asking people to not linger, we were not rushed at all. We loved the fresh OJ, croissants, ham and egg sandwiches so much, we returned the next day and tried all new items. Even the decaf coffee was really good!!Great staff, they ALL clean the tables constantly so you never have to look at dirty dishes. This helps keep that cafe feel going. Everyone was wonderful and didnt make me feel stupid practicing my french.

  • Review 40 (2023-03-12 - Rating: 5)

Great cozy spot for breakfast or brunch. Went with my girlfriend at 11 am on a Sunday and only waited 10 minutes for a seat. It got really busy quickly after that. The French toast and chocolate croissant were our favorite.

  • Review 41 (2023-05-23 - Rating: 5)

Brunch on Wall Street! Not spacious and only few seats, so need to wait to get seated. We took the bar seats so it didnt take us long to get in.The salmon sandwich was fine, and we added an egg. I always enjoy dipping the bread with egg yolk.Brioche gave this french toast a softer texture. Bathing in honey made it a bit too sweet for me, it would be great if I could pour it myself. But the overall taste was good! Its always a good plan to order both savory and sweet plates to get a balance of flavor and share with your friend ✨Their Cappuccino was less strong but creamy, which just suited my mood at that moment so I like it:)Anddd it was the first time seeing a little brunch place like this to help celebrate birthdays 😳. They put a candle on the french toast plate and played a birthday song on the speaker. Not sure how it came but looked cute.

  • Review 42 (2022-10-19 - Rating: 4)

This is a really tiny place, not ideal for someone with stroller or a lot of bags and not for large groups. The tables are closed together. There is two tables for outdoor seating that come with space heaters which are much needed. Some tables inside as well. I came on a weekday and had a 10 minute wait. One restroom all the way in the back.I got the ham and cheese croissant. Yummy for sure. The croissant was buttery and flakey. I think $10.50 is a bit expensive seeing how other delicious bakery sell this kind of croissant for less than $7.

  • Review 43 (2024-10-02 - Rating: 4)

Cute small cafe. Okay coffee and pastries. But amazing service!

  • Review 44 (2023-12-10 - Rating: 5)

Adorable Petite Cafe/Brunch Spot right in the middle of WTC. Dont let the location fool you, one of the BEST French Toast Ive ever had. They boldly serve you the plate with no side of syrup or butter. Delicious.

  • Review 45 (2024-07-02 - Rating: 5)

Best cafe in downtown Manhatten. The ham and cheese croissant with egg is a highlight. The chai latte is also excellent.Good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Within walking distance of Fulton st station. Walk-ins only.

  • Review 46 (2024-02-19 - Rating: 5)

Nice French music, the oat milk latte was great, the apple tart quite nice, but the almond croissant was disappointing (dry, poor feuilletage, not much almond cream inside…).The toasts were amazingly good though

  • Review 47 (2023-07-09 - Rating: 5)

Highly recommend!Food 10/10:Started with the Pain Au Chocolat. Very fresh with the right amount of chocolate, not too over powering. Entree was the Croque Madame. SUPER DELICIOUS! Didnt realize how big it was going to be. The bread was toasted perfectly while being buttery. The ham wasnt overly salty so everything was just balanced. Dessert was their warm apple tart with ice cream. Just yummy! It was thin, apples were tart to balance the sweetness and was drizzled in honey or caramel (wasnt sure)Drinks 7/10: Bellini was not as sweet which was good. But still not my favorite. Matcha latte with oatmilk was better. Not out of this world but delicious. My friends said the coffee there was one of the best though.Service 10/10: Super nice staff, attentive and welcoming. They didnt rush us (group of 5) when they had a wait list going.Note: its a small spot, first come first serve kinda thing. Not great for large groups and might be uncomfortable on a super hot day. But worth it because the food and service was amazing!

  • Review 48 (2023-12-23 - Rating: 5)

The french toast was phenomenal. We went there at the opening time on a Saturday morning and within 30min it was packed! But the wait time is not that bad and I would definitely recommend you to try the french toast. Coffee was pretty tasty as well.

  • Review 49 (2022-10-03 - Rating: 5)

I’m not a fan of French toast in general but theirs is absolutely incredible. Best French toast I’ve ever had. The croissant sandwich is great too and the iced mocha was perfect. It wasn’t too sweet and it just hit the spot. This place is easy to miss because of the scaffolding but there are always people here because it’s that good.

  • Review 50 (2023-05-14 - Rating: 5)

Best breakfast place in this area. We got there right when they opened and were able to get a table right away. It gets very busy quickly because it is so good. The coffee was amazing and we tried a few different dishes. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and brunch.

  • Review 51 (2023-02-20 - Rating: 5)

Probably some of the best food we had while visiting NYC. The Ham and Cheese Croissant (with the obligatory poached egg added) is an absolute must. The only drawback is that we didn’t have the time to visit again before our holiday ended. 😅

  • Review 52 (2024-09-06 - Rating: 4)

Found it via trip advisor and happy to come back again. Good does not only look good but also tastes good. Cosy experience which makes it nice and casual. Definitely recommend. Only reason I rated the food 4 stars was because of the avocado that was slightly to hard and not ripe enough. For the rest the French toast was great

  • Review 53 (2022-05-22 - Rating: 4)

Finally tried this one! Very nice place for breakfast or lunch.Good for drinks - a very nice freshly squeezed orange juice for $5. The pastries are good but they all came cold and not fresh. A little disappointed from a French place. The chocolate lava cake was fresh but it didn’t come out melty in the inside.

  • Review 54 (2022-09-21 - Rating: 5)

We arrived in New York after our red eye flight got delayed by 5 hours. La Parisienne was the perfect oasis for lunch and dessert. We got the ham and cheese croissant with an added egg (get the egg). It was absolutely delicious!!! The chives on top were a nice pop of color and a lovely bright flavor with the buttery croissant, ham, and cheese. We also got the warm apple tart with ice cream and the Paris-Brest. The apple tart did not have a lot of sugar and paired well with ice cream. The Paris-Brest was the perfect level of sweetness. If you dont like a lot of sugar in your desserts, definitely get one here! The atmosphere is fun with music playing and a beautiful gallery wall. Thank you for the amazing experience and the delicious food! 💖

  • Review 55 (2024-04-18 - Rating: 4)

I’d say it is a decent choice to have a brunch in FIDI. It’s a French restaurant/cafe. I personally enjoyed my eggplant sandwich. However, the waitress was literally pushing us to leave while I wanted to enjoy my coffee. This, I’m giving four stars.

  • Review 56 (2022-11-05 - Rating: 5)

Everything I’ve ever had at this gem has tasted incredible. Friendly, warm staff and an atmosphere truly feeling like a fresh stop in Paris. Love hearing French spoken around the place! Must try the bread pudding, salmon breakfast sandwich, and French toast!

  • Review 57 (2024-10-23 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic and cozy restaurant for breakfast!!! France in New York. In the middle of this big city is nice eat in a corner of France

  • Review 58 (2024-05-20 - Rating: 5)

If you are in the Financial District or visiting the WTC, there is a hidden gem nearby you need to check out.The staff is great! Very attentive. The food is delicious for a light bill of fare.I highly recommend this bistro for tourists and locals alike!

  • Review 59 (2022-11-26 - Rating: 4)

Really cute establishment by the Financial District. Staff is very friendly and welcoming too. The almond croissant is very tasty. A little too nutty on the almond in my opinion but certainly still very good. I ordered the Salmon Brioche. I probably won’t get this next time I visit. In my opinion, smoked salmon and Brioche just don’t complement well. The fried egg certainly helps but I’d recommend getting another dish. Coffee here is nice quality.

  • Review 60 (2024-10-02 - Rating: 4)

Super cozy!! Really enjoyed my time here, though I can’t say their pastries were anything super special

  • Review 61 (2024-12-09 - Rating: 5)

The french toast was exceptional. Great service. One of the waiters ran down the street to give coffee to a homeless man who wandered off while she was getting it for him. Worth a wait.

Its a very sweet place. I can say that it is the place with the fastest service in NYC. Aldı prices are reasonable.French toast is big and quite tasty. If you like french breakfast, I definitely recommend this place.

  • Review 63 (2024-08-13 - Rating: 5)

Felt honestly just like a cafe anywhere in Paris! Coffee was fantastic, food was delicious, and the service is friendly. Atmosphere is perfect for the vibe. Even when you have to wait in line, it’s quick and they offer you a drink while you wait. Would absolutely return.

Authentic french brunch place cute little spot hiding inside fidi. I love the french toast here its so soft and fluffy kinda feels like Japanese souffle pancakes! The sandwich was less impressive I wouldnt get it again. The mocha is surprisingly really thick and flavorful!

  • Review 65 (2024-09-16 - Rating: 5)

I went here because it was highly reviewed and I was not disappointed! I got a croissant with raspberry jam that was to die for! I also got an apricot shortbread cookie that was divine! I wish there was more space to sit but other than that it was perfect!

  • Review 66 (2022-06-17 - Rating: 5)

Chic French cafe for your coffee and croissant needs. Add avocado toast to that list while you’re at it. Be ready to wait in line to get in during peak hours and sit very close to another table - but it’ll be all worth it in the end.Recommend!

  • Review 67 (2024-09-24 - Rating: 5)

There is a wait list but it moves fast. Small place yet pleasant with good vibes. We sat outside. We had the French raviolis and they were honestly amazing.

  • Review 68 (2023-02-03 - Rating: 5)

This place is great for breakfast or brunch. When we went there we had a chicken salad sandwich and a croque forrestier. They were both really tasty and reasonable large. Just keep in mind that the place is not cheap.

  • Review 69 (2024-03-04 - Rating: 4)

Great finding. The staff was just amazing. The French toasts and the latte were so good. Definitely recommend others to go.They dont take reservations so you might have to wait but it is worth it.

  • Review 70 (2022-11-30 - Rating: 5)

Nice place for a morning coffee and croissant. Got almond croissant and pain au Chocolat, both were fresh and nice. Also got a Matcha latte and asked to add simple syrup to it (ask them to add less syrup if you dont like it too sweet)Went on a Saturday morning, the wait was around 15 minutes. It is a bit tight space, not good for large groups.

I fell in love with this tiny little French cafe. This truly is a hidden gem and has a feel good ambiance. My wife and I had just gotten off a red eye flight and we were extremely tired but this place seemed to be just what we needed. The food and service were exceptional. We are already planning on going back while still in New York and this will be a regular place whenever we are back. It’s a family owned and operated business which is highly respectable.

  • Review 72 (2024-11-26 - Rating: 5)

I’ll probly never recommended a brunch place as much as I’d recommend this. The French toast is unparalleled! Don’t miss that. Croque forestier is a delight for mushroom lovers! Coffee was alright, but the food is what you’re going for there.

  • Review 73 (2022-10-27 - Rating: 5)

Tucked away in small street with a nice surprise is what I call this place. Transport to Paris for a brief moment with their brunch. Delicious brioche buns and good price imo. Check it out if you are near the area.

  • Review 74 (2023-10-02 - Rating: 5)

I’m always so impressed by how such a “small” place, space wise, can bring on such a big crowd. But when you try their dishes, like their Croque Madame, or their French Toast, paired with a Latte or Minosa, it all makes perfect sense. La Parisienne has managed to utilize every nook and cranny of their space to curate a welcoming atmosphere through the workflow of the staff and their delicious dishes.A true NYC gem worth visiting both by New York first timers or locals from every borough.

  • Review 75 (2024-08-26 - Rating: 5)

Le Parisienne is a quaint & rustic cafe in FiDi that has a wonderful brunch. Although many people were enjoying their signature waffles, we had their salmon brioche sandwich, which was excellent and good value, with a generous serving of salmon. We also had the avocado salad which was great. The americano coffee is also worth ordering. The cafe gets busy sh be sure to reserve ahead & monitor the wait time. Highly recommended.

Bonjour tout le monde ! This is a must visit cafe in New York if you happen to be here. La parisienne is a authentic French cafe and the patron Adrien is extremely hospitable and friendly. The food is delicious with a French touch and also to cater to the taste bud of the Americans.A must try is their French toast so uniquely curated by the patron Adrien. Gonna post some of the awesome photos here. Oh they do have a Happy Hours too !qu’attendait vous !

  • Review 77 (2024-10-10 - Rating: 4)

Inexpensive place. They probably can give a little more on the food. Charge a little more , but more interchange.

I just found this place a few months ago and finally went to this place in this morning!I heard the line is really long but could be here without no line at that time!Ordered today of the soup, Cauliflower soup which is very creamy and pure! The yogurt granola was great!!Especially the french toast was awesome..The toast was so puffy and not too sweet as well.Everything was great! Gotta be here very sooner!

This place is such a cute little bistro with amazing food!

  • Review 82 (2023-12-23 - Rating: 4)

Cute little spot. Emphasis on little. Delicious and good service. Limited seating inside and out, we timed our arrival just right but definitely worth the wait if you have to.

  • Review 83 (2023-07-07 - Rating: 5)

Lovely little cafe near Wall Street. Food is excellent - we really enjoyed the avo toast, chicken salad brioche and the French toast. The latter was one of the best we’ve tried: brioche, bananas, berries and maple syrup. Very friendly staff as well. The Yelp-based virtual queue system was also very helpful.

  • Review 84 (2021-08-24 - Rating: 5)

This quint Parisian restaurant is wonderful! The atmosphere reminds me of the cafes in Paris. They even play French music. Pretty good music. The staff are friendly and fast.My husband and I are foodies, so we have expectations 😂. We loved this place that we returned a second time before we fly back home. The food was delicious. 1st time visiting had the forestier and the 2nd visit I had the chicken brioche. My husband had croque monsieur then the 2nd visit had the Forestier. 1st time had cappuccino with oat milk and it gives the cappuccino some sweetness so no need to add sugar. I’m going to start making my Capp with oat milk when I get home. This place is a must try if visiting New York.

This places strong suit is its cute atmosphere. The area you eat in can make a worlds difference. The coffee is good and the location is even betterStaff was also very friendly

  • Review 87 (2024-10-01 - Rating: 5)

The plain croissant was delicious. Lightly sweet and flaky, buttery texture. Cappuccino wasnt great but the service was friendly. Thank you!

  • Review 88 (2023-07-27 - Rating: 5)

Quaint, charming atmosphere tucked away in the Financial District. Very friendly and welcoming, make for a warm welcome. Although the selection is small I terms of pastry options, none fail to please! The soft, yet flaky Apple Choussan is a must. A solid croissant which speaks to the high quality of the pastries. The pain au chocolat holds it own, a little lean on the chocolate experience when compared to a Montréal version, yet it will not disappoint. Indoor and outdoor seating is a plus.

  • Review 89 (2023-03-25 - Rating: 5)

Embarrassed these are the only pix that I got b/c spent a lot (A LOT) of time here, and cannot recommend highly enough. This place is packed 7:30 a - 7:30 p for a reason. The food is delicious - crab brioche, croque madame, croissants, French toast (brioche) with fresh fruit, blanc de blanc, fresh OJ, lattes.

  • Review 90 (2024-09-24 - Rating: 5)

One of my favorite NYC brunch spots . $21 gets you and entree and coffee . Eggs bennies to die for, come with a salad and some of the best damn fries Ive ever had.. $8 sangria is a nice touch!

  • Review 91 (2024-07-06 - Rating: 5)

Had the Avo toast, croissants and latte. Liked everything except the latte. Didnt like the espresso flavor.

  • Review 92 (2023-06-20 - Rating: 5)

We had croque madam and french toast. I like the croque madame better since french toast is littlw bit too sweet, but my loved the french toast. All in all it was a great experience and great food.

  • Review 93 (2023-11-14 - Rating: 5)

I came here bright and early for some brunch and it was SO good, there’s a bit of a wait but nothing too crazy. The croque monsieur was amazing but a bit heavy for me personally for breakfast. My favourite was the French toast!!

  • Review 94 (2024-10-07 - Rating: 5)

This is a lovely little breakfast joint, with a nice atmosphere. Its always packed, which is a testament to the great food. Definitely a breakfast not to be missed.

  • Review 95 (2023-08-06 - Rating: 5)

The food is good, and they offer gluten free and dairy free options. The coffee is solid as well. It takes a while to get a table (around 30 minutes for us), and it’s very crowded (our table was 30cm from another table), but I’d say that it’s worth it.

  • Review 96 (2024-05-29 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 97 (2022-04-26 - Rating: 5)

La Parisienne is an intimate French cafe. It is walk-in only. There is always a line outside. This small cafe has a soothing contemporary blue, green and white decor. Its casual yet cozy. Their servers are always friendly and fast. Their food and drinks are good. Their sandwiches are done well. There is a shelf if you are interested in picking up a few grocery items on your way out.

  • Review 98 (2023-07-31 - Rating: 5)

Had the Croque Madame, and it tasted delicious! The truffle bechamel made it even tastier. But I must say, eating is also feeling and experiencing and that is where Le Parisienne excelled! Great friendly staff that makes you feel at home. Great atmosphere, too!Looking forward to being back next time in NYC

  • Review 99 (2019-11-06 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely fantastic place! Wed stayed overnight on Wall St. and were looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat for brunch. Such a quaint little eatery. The place seemed extremely popular, but despite the crowd the host, hostess, wait staff were all very afferable and able to take our order in a timely fashion. The food was absolutely brilliant with a very traditional French flavour. Croque Madame et Monsieur. Some amazing pastries. Absolutely brilliant way to start the day!

There is a reason why this place has a long waiting line. Excellent quality! Will be coming back to explore more. Portions are a bit smaller than you’d think, keep that in mind. Spirulina latte surprised me, glad I tried something new.

  • Review 102 (2023-02-25 - Rating: 5)

The food was phenomenal - I had the avocado toast and added a soft boiled egg, and I could not have been more pleased with my breakfast. Coffee is also the best Ive had in New York thus far. Top this off with a staff that were all incredibly attentive, lovely atmosphere and decor, and there just arent enough stars.

  • Review 103 (2023-11-13 - Rating: 5)

OMG. This was literally the best place I have been in NYC. The place is small and cozy. Atmosphere is authentic. The service was exceptional. The food though - no words. Mouthwatering, tasteful, perfectly prepared. Hands down best French Toast ever. I am shocked this place was busier but it was a Tuesday at 930 am so that may have been why. I would go back again…and again..and again. Planning my next NYC trip. This will be on the list. Definitely recommend and would give more starts if I could!

  • Review 109 (2022-08-05 - Rating: 5)

Excellent little French cafe I stumbled upon with a welcoming atmosphere and ambience. The staff was friendly and the food quite tasty. I stopped for lunch and had the croque monsieur (pictured) and my wife had the croque forestier. They were scrumptious and pretty filling. If youre there during warm weather, then go for a glass of rose as well - the one they serve is quite nice and refreshing.

  • Review 110 (2022-03-02 - Rating: 5)

I highly recommend the French toast, but it’s not the most filling meal. I came in really hungry and ordered the large size, but was still hungry after. I ended up getting the ham and cheese croissant as well. Both dishes were out of this world. If you get the croissant, I’d also recommend adding the avocado and egg.The only drawback to this place is that it’s very tiny and has pretty limited seating. I’m definitely looking forward to being back though.

Small and cute little cafein fidi serving up quick tasty french bites. Came for breakfast and had the matin Sanny and it was delicious.Looks like they use simple but good ingredients - quality butter, nice brioche, eggs cooked well. Id gladly come back and try the croque madame to see how the bechamel sauce is :)~$29 with tip for a breakfast sandwich and coffee.

This is a really cute little French cafe. Small space but the menu and service is great and it feels like a nice little escape from NYC Fidi by just walking in the door.We had the brioche French toast which comes in two portion sizes, and is loaded with banana and blueberries. Sandwiches, cookies and coffee also good quality too

  • Review 113 (2022-07-08 - Rating: 5)

As a French person, finding an authentic Parisian spot in FiDi was a delight. La Parisienne NYC exceeded my expectations with salmon brioche sandwich. The staff were super nice, making the experience even better. Thank you, Adrian, for bringing a taste of 🇫🇷 to NYC!

  • Review 115 (2023-07-05 - Rating: 4)

I was disappointed with the coffee I got. Both cappuccino and cold brew were watery.. and the milk foam part of the cappuccino was even not creamy.Almond croissant was ok. It was huge so worth the price.I would like to visit and dine in for their dishes next time.. might not with coffee.

Be prepared for Heavenly French food. Arrive early if you have a large party or really willing to wait a bit. Once you are seated, the service is quick and friendly. I recommend their signature sandwich croque monsieur which is Paris ham, gruyere, bechamel. Its like a high-end grilled ham and cheese sandwich with a deliciously runny egg on top. The Almond croissant was also very good!

A delightful little spot for brunch at the weekend. It took around 30-40 mins to get a table (next time I would join the waitlist online in advance!) but I was able to order a coffee while I waited in the queue. Once sat down, the service was fast and the food delicious. I had the salmon brioche and would definitely recommend.

He made sure I got quick service. Food came out quickly and the coffee was tasty as well. Their menu looks amazing so I’ll definitely be back!

  • Review 132 (2019-12-17 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful small French coffee shop in the Financial District. Cozy both in terms of space and service - staff was nice, didn’t overwhelm you but at the same time kind and helpful. I ordered a combo with soup and half croque - they were fresh and love the strong cheese flavor in the soup! Coffee also didn’t disappoint. I sat there and used my laptop to send a few emails - although it was always full, they were kind enough to not kick me out ;)There was one customer being extremely impolite and unreasonable - she threatened to “close down their business” just because the staff asked her to wait in line! Totally ridiculous. Don’t understand New York customers these days! Frankly that’s the reason why I am writing this review (I don’t usually write reviews), I think that lady was just being too disrepectful for the business.Would be back again!

I had the most lovely breakfast at La Parisienne! It was just me, so I sat at the bar. I made besties with my fellow bar-sitters. I drank coffee, had the avo toast (amazing), and read. I had to flag down staff whenever I needed something, as no one checked in on me, but everyone was friendly. The food was amazing and I was able to practice some of my French with the owner and staff. I will definitely go back and try more things on the menu.

  • Review 152 (2019-08-20 - Rating: 5)

Way better than we expected! We were looking for a place that had more than just bagels/quick bites and found this place. Seated within 2min at 10am on a Tuesday, ordered and waited no longer than 5min for both our deluxe coffee drinks and about 8min for the food. We were surprised because we were watching them make food within 1 min of sitting down and found out that it was actually OUR food, which was surprising given how busy they were. Which leads me to the food...the food was AMAZING. The Martin breakfast sandwich was delicious and the French toast was my favorite I’ve had, and I’m a French roast lover. Everything was so perfectly balanced from the crisp almonds, slightly tart blueberries, and smooth syrup and banana, all on a crusted brioche bread. We finished it off by taking a freshly made chocolate chip cookie that was so good. Not a great picture admittedly, but it was soft and gooey without being doughy on the inside. We thoroughly enjoyed this meal and it was made better by the sweet owner, good barista (who didn’t mind me chatting him up asking questions on how he made the drinks), and wonderful French music. The owner knows her business and obviously understands how busy people are in the financial district, but doesn’t rush you either. Favorite place we ate during our 4day trip!

  • Review 162 (2019-08-16 - Rating: 4)

Great place for an early morning meeting, they serve tasty French breakfast food and sandwiches. The place is a bit small and cramped, so not recommended if you have big bags or luggage. Additionally, the service can be quite slow due to short staff.

  • Review 163 (2024-02-26 - Rating: 5)

This is an authentic French cafe, and the coffee and breakfast foods are delights. It is small, it is crowded, and despite that I love it! I drink decaff now, and my decaff Americano was better than regular coffee at 95% of the coffee shops Ive been to in the US and even in NY. We tried some other highly rated French breakfast/coffee spots around Manhattan, and none of them stood up to La Parisienne. Cant wait to come back on our next trip!

Cozy space, featuring an excellent restaurant with a very friendly staff. They have a selection of French inspired dishes.I recently went for brunch and sat at the bar. The waitress had coffee and water ready to go. Cream is upon request. Food is quickly made and excellent.I opted for the smoked salmon on brioche. The dish was excellent and very fresh. Will be back soon.

Great service, prices and food. Little cafe, clean. Quaint hidden gem. Will be going back for happy hour as I love French wine 🍷. The smoked salmon was a little salty
