    After walking along the Hudson River, found our way to the Liberty Bistro. We sat outside which we loved the weather and the views, the wicker, high top stools aren’t entirely comfortable.Having said that, didn’t stop us from spending a couple of hours here. Their house sparkling is delicious + the mojito was well done. We shared the shrimp cocktail and the hummus + goat cheese dips. The kitchen accommodated one of being gluten free, so in addition to the pita, they brought out some taro chips. Always appreciated.If you’re looking for great service, excellent atmosphere and delicious food and drinks, this is a perfect stop while in the area.

    The visual aesthetics of this restaurant is nothing short of breath taking with views.When entering my large party (30) where seated, shorty after they started our drink orders. We where told in advance the bar was backed up an with such a large party I expected it to be a wait. When my drink arrived it’s was so beautiful and taste amazing until I noticed the hair (clearly not mines) on the inside of my glass. My server apologized an ordered me another one. While waiting I ventured to the commode where they’re where two single stalls with a 6 min wait line at them.My new drink later arrived, now the food I will say even with a large party the wait was over an hour for our apps to arrive.I started with the TUNA TARTARE 5 starts!!! Best I’ve had on the east coast! With just the right amount of flavor It surly left me wanting more. My main dish LOBSTER ROLL onToasted Bun w/Petite Salad. The Lobster roll was a very nice size an full of delicious lobster, salad dressing on side salad had an amazing flavor component. I ended with the LEMON TART, pretty large an overly sweet, I’m not a sweets fan so if you have a sweet tooth this tart is surly for you.I also had a bite of my friends pasta, very underwhelming after tasting everything else, it truly lacked flavor and was not very hot, sadly to say I was so happy I did not order it.Overall (minus hair in my cocktail and wait time for meal and commode line) this was such a great dinner! With stunning views. If you are looking for a dining experience this is definitely the place to go.

    Like other venues at Brookfield, this place has an amazing view of the Hudson and the yachts. We had the watermelon salad and the lyonnaise salad. They were pretty decent. The service was ok. Try their outdoor seating. Well worth it.

    Liberty Bistro was a recommendation from our daughter’s boss, and he did not steer us wrong. The outside seating is absolutely gorgeous! We had a spectacular view of the sunset and enjoyed live music while we dined. The baked camembert for two and the flash fried cauliflower were almost a meal by themselves. Our daughter is vegan, and they had no trouble accommodating selections for her. Our main courses were excellent, the desserts were divine, and the service was outstanding! We will definitely be back when we visit her in NY again.

    Wonderful ambiance with a relaxed and chic vibe. Loved the beautiful views and a gorgeous sunset while enjoying fresh seafood and rosé. A lot more energy than many other spots in the area. Food took too long to come out but overall service was good and staff was friendly. Would go back.

    Great bistro/bar experience. Gorgeous outdoor setting and is waterfront ! They have 2 spacious dining areas - one with livelier (not noisy, you can have conversations) music and other more suited for families. Winter Orchard cocktail was delicious. Ordered atlantic salmon fillet and whole branzzino. Portions were plenty for 1 person. Food was tasty. Branzinno was perfectly made. Salmon has butternut squash, brussel sprouts and a mildly sweet base - a unique take on the dish. Creme brulee was appropriately sweet and good. It is especially suited for summer season. Mimi - our server was delightful. All dishes are in mid-high price range - appropriate for portions, ambience and the view. The place is a little difficult to locate, so keep taking direction from the staff of the mall. Overall, a great place!

    Nice outdoor seating and friendly service. Good french onion soup though on the sweeter side. Great fries. Rib eye steak was burnt bitter. Steak tartare was a bit sweet though meat was good. Paella was quality but again a bit sweet. Tuna tartare flavoring was strange. Short rib dish was good. All dishes quality ingredients but flavors were off which didnt impress the palate. UPDATE, Tried again and everything was good!! 3 star to 4 star

    Service: wasn’t the best which was surprising to me because this place is amazing. It was a bit careless.I have been watching this place for a while now and always had the desire to have lunch there and I finally did it with my aunt. High quality restaurant food, branzino was perfectly made, along with potatoes and vegetables served on top of it, sautéed spinach uh-mazing! Unbelievably delicious!The view of North Cove Marina, Hudson River and Jersey is absolutely stunning and the best sunset in the world. Allow yourself to be wooed by New York City 🌆 ☀️ 🌊 🌸 🌳 🛳️ ♥️🗽

    This restaurant has a great atmosphere, with it being right by the Hudson River. We have been here few times for either brunch or lunch on the weekends and love sitting outside. Food and service are good too. I recommend the french onion soup, steak tartare, eggs Benedict, steak frites and the omelettes. Great place to dine downtown!

    Great atmosphere with a nice view, ideal for a happy hour. The cheese board was great. The only negative part was that we ordered drinks from the happy hour manu and were only informed after the check that happy hour prices did not apply to outdoors seating, it should be informed when ordering it from the menu

    Is a bit pricey but is definitely worth the price. My lord I love this place! Very warm and lovely outdoor, food was great, I definitely recommend the croques. Or you can just go for a glass of champagne and enjoy the view. I really really love it!

    Go for the food, and location....come back for the view and the vibe. Make your own charcuterie board, Foie gras, tuna tartare with taro chips, seafood salad, lobster roll, steamed cod and cheeseburger were all yummy, good portions. Delicious cocktails and decent wine lists as well, but the location cant be beat. Take in the boats in the marina as the sun sets behind them.

    A very atmospheric place. Hidden deep in Hudson Yards Park, its an ideal spot for dinner with a view of the sunset. A good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, and an amazing frozen cocktail, Frosé (vodka St-Germain). Reasonable prices, slightly below the Manhattan average. Perfect for a dinner with friends.We ordered the hummus as a starter, highly recommend it. I especially recommend the goat cheese with honey - an incredible combination of creamy and sweet that will whet your appetite and prepare you for the main course. In my case, it was branzino - a light and exquisitely prepared dish with a delicate tomato sauce.     First of all, I will say that this is the third time I have been here. The first time was spectacular, the second time was very disappointing, since we waited for 20 minutes before anyone even offered us menus or drinks and we ended up waiting an hour and a half without any food. :( I chalked that experience up to the restaurant having a bad day. But the first visit was so good that I brought visiting family here for brunch and was so happy that I did.Between 6 of us, we had omelets, eggs, Benedict, burgers, bloody Mary, and more. Everything was fantastic, as was the service, and while it was too cold for outdoor seating this time, the Bistro is still very charming in decor and ambiance. We will be back.

    Impeccable service, our waiter was super attentive despite our 2 kids which disrupted our brunch experience. The steak tartar was really good, way above my expectations. My friends had a tuna burger and regular burger. I tried both and they were great, as well as french fries.This place is perfect for the outdoor brunch with some glam if you want and wonderful marina views. But inside is also great with a lot of tables.

    We went there for the Rugby World Cup watch party on opening game. Although we had reservations, it was very poorly organized. A couple of TV screens scrambled at the ye last minute.     I did my wedding reception on Saturday and we couldnt be happier with this decision.     Cute spot, especially in the summer. The oysters are always fresh. Drinks are really cute and refreshing. My favorite item they serve is the French onion soup. It’s so hard to find a good one and they have it mastered! I come here for lunch just to have it! Summer time it’s really nice to sit outside and look at the boats and they have people playing instruments like the violin as well on the weekends!

    Gorgeous place to have diner at! We celebrated our wedding dinner there and the staff were super nice, helpful, and attentive! They were always responsible and flexible fo any change we had to make. It is a big place full of amazing details ! All the flowers around us made us feel like we were having a lovely meal in nature! They kept our wedding cake and took lots of picture for us. The food was really good which made all my guests thankful and happy. Successful ending of my wonderful wedding day!     Very nice restaurant with the view of river and jersey city!! If the weather is good you can sit outside and enjoy the view. They have good selection of wines and spirits.     Walked in with out needing reservation, was seated right away. The place was well kept, the ambience and view was great for a warm Saturday afternoon.     Nice French bistro in financial district area with the beautiful view. Place has busy energy, but you still can have good conversation with your companions.     Surprisingly good. Has great presence and the outside seating in the summer is the best. Like a European vacation town feel. Food was actually pretty decent. We got early brunch on fathers day and it was not busy at 930am. Also a little expensive. But if you just sit there and enjoy the setting, its well worth it.

    I never write reviews and skeptical from going based upon other comments but I can say that I was very pleased from the moment was addressed by the host and getting served by Dee who was personal and attentive. The food and location was great as well. I expect youll have the same experience.

    I have been to that place a year ago I can say I had a good experience and I returned 2 weeks ago with some friends we all enjoyed the food the service the view on water.The staff was amazing and françois was so nice and professional.

    Ive been frequenting this spot over the years. Something has changed a bit. The food has been better in the past.Raw bar remains great, some menu items are less delicious than I would have come to expect here.The setting out on the patio is fantastic. It is alongside a small marina area on the Hudson.I will continue to go back. Just hoping for some higher quality on the food.Drinks remain great.No better spot for a Frosé on a hot afternoon afterwork.

    I recommend you visit in the evening around sunset between 5 to 8pm, during that time you get an amazing view of the Hudson River and the sunset, in addition to the beautiful hanging lights on liberty street. It is absolutely stunning 😍.For appetizers, I had the duck and fig pate, pork rilettes, jambon de Bayonne and the normand pate. For the main course, I had steak frites and grilled salmon, and dessert strawberry tart. I highly recommend the main courses, especially the steak, the appetizers and were also ok but the steak was exceptional.My waiter was very welcoming and patiently answered my questions and made some good recommendations.This place is great for dates and small families.Pro tip, ask to be seated outside underneath the indoor garden, you get the best views from there.

    DINE WITH A VIEW OF THE HUDSON RIVERThis bistro – tucked away inside Le District – is a quiet oasis of calm inside what is the massive Brookfield Place complex in Battery Park City. With the plethora of dining choices this vast city holds, it’s nice to find a place where you can hear yourself think and your companion talk, while fine food is in the offing.Being a French restaurant and lunch time, I chose the Croque Monsieur and the Crème Brûlée, the latter my litmus test for quality. Both were delicious. We sat in The Dining Room but, if you can, choose a seat to watch the water traffic on the Hudson River while dining. Next time, I’ll have Sunday brunch on The Patio and really take advantage of the views.

    The atmosphere is perhaps the reason to eat here since it’s one of the few places I’ve seen where their outdoor seating is more popular than their indoor dining. The food is pretty good too, especially their French offerings. I recommend being picky on the sides though because my meal came with a side salad that was wanting at best and not worthy of the restaurant.Also, you should be wary of their reservation system as they create artificial demand with it. They told me they had absolutely nothing before 8:45PM, then when I got there they were immediately seating walk-ups, so making a reservation felt kind of pointless.
