    LIC bar is a very chill, relaxing, fun place. Cheap beer, live music, and outdoor seating. Great place to go in the summer and winter. The backyard area is fantastic and a great spot to just unwind. It is spacious and they have one of my favorite beers, but the selection is not that big.

    Had a great time here with a group for a private party; we rented the back room which was perfect. Service was good, lovely ambiance, very nice outdoor space separates the main bar area from the back room. I don’t know if they have food, so I did 3 stars.

    I walked in right before 6 PM on a Wednesday and the crowd at the bar was as lively as they come! Super friendly locals and the Guinness pour was 👍👌.Two TVs: One was playing the Knicks game while the other a scene from Flashdance.On the radio: Foolish Games by JewelPro-tip: Its dog friendly!     LIC bar is a Gem in the area! Its open late, has a great indoor vibe and back patio with string Lights. There is also a backroom that is sometimes open with a fireplace. Theyll often have live music as well, and its a great stop on a bar crawl or just for a night cap after work. Cant recommend enough!

    Spacious... with outdoor setting AND an another indie space in the garden for performances and book readings. Great for large group gatherings just to chill and relax. No food and recommend only get drinks in bottle or tap. The margaritas are premade with little alcohol. Easy to find spot with laid back vibe and space isnt very crowded on a weeknight, not sure about the weekends. The owner hosts many events so its definitely worth checking out.

    The live music is great here! The crowd is really mellow and everyone just wants to enjoy some quality time with their friends. The back patio is awesome and is totally dog friendly too (so many fluffy cutes!). If you want to host a party here, they have a whole back room separate from the bar-- across the patio-- where you can hang out and eat your cake.

    We had our wedding at LIC Bar in late April. It was wonderful! Brian (the owner) was an absolute pleasure to work with --- diligent, organized, and accommodating. His wedding coordinator, Ali, did a great job of keeping us relaxed on the day of, and allowed us to just enjoy the party.We had the ceremony (with 150 people) on the outside patio, and then a really fun party after.We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful place to have a fun New York wedding, without paying exorbitant costs.

    Shaun was on point, he has a system that works for remembering patrons and their drinks. I just came down here for 4th of july and the fireworks but now Ill be coming down here just for the atmosphere and amazing service. They have live music which is great and they care about the patrons that stop by. This is rare nowadays and I wont hesitate to tell anyone to come here for amazing service! Thank you Shaun and staff!

    A best bet for bars in the area. Down to earth, but not downscale. Lots of people at lots of peoples times. A variety of beers, including some cheap options like $3 miller lights. Live music, a friendly young but mixed vibe. In nice weather, an outdoor space to enjoy. Not pretentious, not snooty. A pleasant place to go with people.

    Had an impromptu rainy Saturday afternoon here WITH MY DOG, so it was awesome. Im not sure if theyd like that known, they dont have water bowls out or anything but the bartender this day was more than happy to let us come in and found us a container. No kitchen but we ordered delivery from two doors up . A certain dog friendly brewery in the area was rammed and chaotic but LIC bar was a very chill place. Good beer selection too

    Great place, great beer, nice service. The staff seem eager to get you your order as quickly as possible to allow you to get back to the table, the music, or the conversation. The management seem to have hit on a good formula here. I love the outdoor space. My only negative feeling was about the patrons who feel cool with bringing their kids TO A BAR, and letting them run around. It may be a neighborhood pub, but seriously grown people are playing here. It reminds me of the movie Sister Act...If this place turns into a nuns bar, Im outa here man!

    Went to nice low key wedding over here. This backyard is swanky. The area is lucky to have such a nice spot. When the wedding was over and the locals rolled up, started bumping some freestyle classics. Sweet bartender, too.

    I love the place and Ive been going there for years. Its great to hang out with friends and best of all you can bring outside food inside, which is great given the amazing spread around Vernon Blvd. The live music is great, always a good vibe. Also the place is dog friendly both inside and in the courtyard.However, the service isnt as good as it used to be. Im not asking for table service, after all this is pretty much an Irish Bar feel but with an awesome backyard, but the last couple times the bartender wasnt too nice.

    Had dinner here, good cocktails, good food and plenty of options. The staff was friendly and efficient even when it got a little busy. We liked the steak and bbq pork waffles, they were both pretty good!

    Hosted my boyfriend’s 30th birthday at LIC Bar. Working with the team was amazing and such a breeze. We had my boyfriend’s band set up to play and the owner, sound guy, and bartenders were extremely receptive and flexible with our group of 65+! Everyone loved the atmosphere, inside and outside of the bar and awesome entertaining spaces. Would highly recommend LIC BAR for a Saturday hang out, but also to host an event. Thanks LIC bar!

    We’d been to LIC Bar several times for drinks and envisioned getting married there once we got engaged. It turns out reaching out to Brian the owner to look into having our wedding there was the best wedding decision we made. Brian made planning super easy for us for many reasons, one being that our quote from LIC Bar included food, drinks, desserts, dinnerware, table cloths etc and basic logistics. We had the convenience of a “typical” wedding venue but in a unique setting that felt perfect for us. We had a lot of flexibility to take the space and adapt it to our vision. Brian introduced us to a number of incredible vendors that we ended up using, removing a lot of stress from our plates. Communicating with Brian over the planning process was seamless. He met with us several times to go over food, logistics, and any concerns we had leading up to our day. The only thing that was difficult for us was choosing which dishes we wanted from the incredible catering menu. The food we chose was a hit and garnered many compliments and praise from our guests. Having our wedding at LIC Bar was as perfect as we imagined, and we couldn’t recommend it enough.

    Very laid back. There is a front room, an outdoor courtyard, and a back room. The only bar is in the front room. The front room is your standard wood dive bar. Theres a small stage and I have seem some very good performances there (no cover). The courtyard is very cool, with brick walls and no roof. The back room is awesome, it has a fireplace and looks like a very old structure. There is no food here, but you can order freely. The beer selection is not good and the drink prices are just okay.

    The outside seating area is great in good weather and if you’d like to take your dog out. They used to have some live bands playing pre-pandemic, which was always interesting and entertaining. They only accept credit card if bill is $20+ so you’ll need some cash if you’re just grabbing a beer—annoying.

    A perfect watering hole for watching football or having a low key drinks. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. There is a solid selection of beers on draught and by the bottle, the wine options are limited. They dont serve food but are happy to have their sister bar a few doors down deliver burgers or nachos, or you can order your own food and have it delivered to the bar. Dog friendly to boot!

    There was a two person band (vocalist and guitar player) playing live music, the barkeep was nice, good neighborhood local bar with lots of space so if youre a big group you wont feel cramped

    Great neighbourhood bar. Decent prices and the bartender is very attentive! Can get a little steamy inside due to the small square footage... so don’t dress warmly!

    Pretty cool spot in LIC. It has an outdoor area for smoking and a separate section for private events. The drinks are good and the staff very friendly. No kitchen so order in or bring your own grub. They have TVs so you can watch games but its not a sports bar 👍 Enjoy a beer or Moscow mule - cheers!

    Wonderful! Food is really good too-not something thrown together just to feed a crowd. Theyre kind enough to tent the backyard, and have heaters. Its a great location to have a company party. Theres even a small space for the band. In front, our company hired an electronic photo booth. Since I dont drink, I did enjoy my fizzy coke. Some specialty places forget about us non-drinkers, and give us nearly flat sodas- focusing on their draw which is their craft beers, but they did not. That is much appreciated. Their serving cups were of good proportions, so no complaints there, either. My friend had his favorite Blue Moon beer, without any sqwaks What? Blue who? They are conveniently located a few blocks from the 7 train, and you will enjoy the sites on your walk to and from. Appreciate the establishment. Im sure you will too. Give them a shot for your next event. For our company party, there were even children there. So its child-friendly for, at least, events. Peace☮️

    One of my favorite bars in the area. In the sweet spot between divey and classy, makes this a great casual hangout spot. Not too loud or too quiet. And the backyard is spacious and great in warm weather.

    Hands down one of my favorite bars. The decor is great, the prices are more than reasonable, especially for happy hour. A major draw, especially on a nice summer day is taking advantage of their outdoor seating area which is opened year round and listening to the live bands.
