    This bar is the best! I come here frequently, Ivan the bartender is one of the most hospitable and sweetest bartenders I know, the prices are great and also the newly felted pool tables ( 2 of them ) are great to play on. If you want a genuine NYC bar experience, come to Lucy’s :)

    Been going to Lucys since 1996 best days of my 20s. I Love the family. Its still a time warp beautiful dive bar. Played pool with Tim Roth and yes I beat him ha ha. Peace and Love Brett see you soon Lucy.

    Good neighborhood dive bar. Has pool tables and a Big Buck Hunter machine. Cheap beer served by the always friendly Lucy. Nice and quiet on weekdays. Runs out of sitting space on weekends as NYU students take over.

    Being Aussie in a big city is pretty tough… we’re used to barren fields, warm beer, scorching days and hairy farmers… that’s about it. Coming to New York was intense, we were looking for a place to call home and to be welcomed for the rejects that we are. We found Lucy’s, what a whole in the wall, a little gem in the east village. Cool tunes, fabulous drink deals and cosy vibe. Pay a visit, the legendary bar tenders Ivan and Hannah are cherubs who are warm, edgy and pretty damn cool… what a solid bunch 10/10.

    Lucy’s is the best true dive bar in NYC. I stumbled upon it with a friend a few months ago and it’s now my favorite place to go. One of the bartenders, Ivan, is friendly and makes great drinks. The pool tables are never too crowded and it’s a great place to spend a night.

    Glad Lucys is still here and still cheap! The usual tender, Ms Mickevicius (who apparently has worked here for about 40 years or so) was not in. Instead there were two women who did an admirable job of handling that evenings large crew. Cash only. There are pool tables. Also Id would only drink beers or easy to make drinks here.

    This place was so much fun! The bartenders Ivan and tashi were so nice! and Ivan helped my friend out when he was approached by someone who was was giving him trouble on the street. Great place to go!

    This bar is single handedly the best bar in all of the east village. The bartender ( I think his name is Ivan) is one of the kindest humans I’ve ever met in my life, he treats people like people and not like customers. Bless this place

    Great dive bar if you wanna get into any type of grungy scene. the pool tables are absolute trash but that is half the fun. also the bartenders were fighting about some dumb young love shtuff that was entertaining even though it was a bit awkward. strong and cheap drinks. cash only.

    Been going here for years. My friend and I would start every weekend off at Lucys with Lucy, a little old Polish woman, and her family who run the place. Always an interesting crowd and theres a pool table, pinball machine and jukebox if you want to do more than conversing. The place is almost always open except for a few weeks out of August where Lucy goes back to Poland to visit her homeland. Theres no kitchen but Lucy is cool with you bringing food in from any of the local eateries (and there are quite a few good ones in that area)
