Just opened in 2021, the food hall is part of the Moynihan Train Hall located in the James A. Farley Building across the street Penn Station. The building was the historic US Post office. Clean, beautiful and very spacious it’s a vibrant space with plenty of good food choices. -

This is a nice spot to grab a quick bite before a train. There is a good variety of spots, and rather than review each one, I’d recommend walking around and see what appeals to you at the time. There is something here for everyone, and the setting is nice for an inner city train station (much better than the offerings at Grand Central). -

The food court on the brand new awesome Moynihan train station is amazing. Came here for a Knicks sponsored event but really enjoyed the vibe. Clean, comfortable, modern and the good was delicious. Mini burgers and pizza for the most part. Much more than a train depot -

Ordered vodka pizza (mantecato sauce, sliced mozzarella, parmesan, and homemade breadcrumbs) from the sauce here. It was good very thin but it didnt break when I picked it up. I had a hard time finding a seat to eat since all the seats were taken up by people not eating which is mainly because the main waiting hall has no seats. But overall it was good -

So surprised at how great the hall is! It’s connected to the main tracks by two hallways on either side and has about ~10+ food options and even more cafes, as well as a seating area in the center. You can grab a pre-train meal with pretty minimal wait time (10-15 min or less) and the variety here is actually great (def saw several vegetarian options) -

Great selection of restaurants and nice layout. Lots of seats and very clean. Highly recommend if waiting for a train or not! -

Wonderful new food hall in the Moynihan Train Hall. Whether you’re needing something to eat on the train to grab and go or have time to sit have a meal or a drink or you’re just passing through, it’s a great spot -

Short and sweet. Needed a quick bite before hoping on the train. Spacious and clean. -
Review 11 (2022-12-16 - Rating: 5)
Great choices, reasonable prices and plenty of security!!As you’re transitioning from station to train, you need a place to safely do so. The Moynihan Station is breathtaking, but functional. Restaurants, fast food and snacks are all within a two minute walk with plenty of space to sit (while being a patron).I love this place, you will too. -
Review 12 (2024-11-22 - Rating: 5)
For being a train hall, I didn’t expect the quality or the variety that there was. I wish the seating area was bigger but there was enough seating for everyone who was eating around lunch time. The area was very clean and comfortable. -
Review 13 (2023-01-16 - Rating: 4)
For a food hall built within an Amtrak station I was impressed by the quality of the food and the neat vibe. The place definitely has an atmosphere of getting around quickly, but the food options are a step up from regular fast food including several local restaurants. -

The Moynihan Food Hall has a good variety of food choices. There is plenty of seating and is good place to hangout while waiting for your train. -
Review 15 (2023-03-01 - Rating: 5)
I had the Beyond Cheeseburger from the Burger Joint, with ALL the fixings. Fresh, hot, budget friendly, and well packaged. Staff creates a VERY fun-loving atmosphere. It was so damn good that I absolutely had to go back two days in a row!!!!!Special shout out to Marj, Aysha, and AZ for your customer-centered service. -

If there ever was a refreshing pastrami sandwich, I had one at Pastrami Queen. Seating might be limited, but get your meal or snack to go, and find a nearby public space! -

Phone service is very weak if you plan to meet up with someone here -
Review 21 (2024-07-05 - Rating: 5)
There were PLENTY of places to dine. Of course, it’s more expensive. But when you are waiting, you tend to pay a little more when you can’t leave waiting to board. -
Review 22 (2023-08-20 - Rating: 5)
It’s easy to get lost and quite a bit of walking, but just ask the customer service. They will point you in the right direction. I had pizza and it was great! -
Review 23 (2023-02-06 - Rating: 5)
This is such a welcome addition to both the Moynihan station and Penn Station. The restaurants are good and the seating is nice. It’s a great place to visit when traveling by train. -

Keepin it real out here at the train hallBought these with promo codes cause ive never and probably wont be able to afford these outright, but want to be able to one day. Anyway, for a heavily discounted price, I had a great experience eating healthy. Freshly pressed juice along with an Acai bowl is how I want to start my day ideally. Would I go back? Yes, if i have another promo. Thanks -

Review 38 (2023-03-29 - Rating: 5)
Lots of options and everything will find something. After a long morning of traveling, it was nice to have so many options for all my friends instead of having to compromise on a restaurant. -
Review 39 (2022-06-13 - Rating: 4)
Met a friend who was waiting for a train. The main atrium is breathtaking imparts a feeling of expanse. The train entrance gates are easily distinguishable and the working staff very cordial. We passed the wait time at a table in the food court where after we got our coffees and noshes we did not feel rushed. The terminal is clean and airy the food court is maintained very cleanly. The bathroom was marked clearly and also clean. This place is a total upgrade in all aspects from the old Penn Station. -

The perfect spot in Midtown before an event at MSG. It is close to everything. The Bar has a vibrant atmosphere and a ton of restaurant options to grab a quick bite. -
Review 43 (2022-06-09 - Rating: 4)
There are plenty of places to grab something to eat but the bar isnt one of them. The bartenders are fantastic but there should be some kind of service for food there. The whole place is kept immaculate by an army of cleaning staff who are friendly and accommodating. -

Moynihan Food Hall has everything from salads, pizza, 2 major coffee chains, a bagel shop, Magnolia Bakery, a burger establishment, and a generously sized bar. There is plenty of seating. There’s signage indicating a ramen place will be opening there as well. -

Having gone to ny penn for decades, Moynihan is pretty nice. I got a salad at the middle eastern salad place that was good. Got a draught beer to wash it down w. All good, charged my phone and did some work ... all good. -
