    Mr Purple NEVER disappoints!Ive come on a cold rainy December Sunday night and there was still a crowd, amazing dj and great service. Tge rooftop has one of the best NYC city views. Always cool. Always sexy. Always fun. The remodeled downstairs is an added bonus!

    Amazing time at Mr. Purple, the atmosphere is vibrant, with a great mix of music. The staff, especially the door bouncers, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which set the night off on a good foot. These guys were genuinely kind and professional, making sure everyone felt safe while keeping the vibe fun and friendly. Definitely recommend it for a fun night out (bonus points it has a pretty view)

    I didnt actually eat Here just came for a night out and had a great time, try and get here early cuz its always very packed and the line is long but moves relatively quickly, the rooftop itself is great has an outdoor pool a bar both inside and outside and plenty of areas outside where can just lounge and hangout with people, the DJ was also really good I enjoyed most of the music, its really just a dope vibe all around and I would put up in my top 10 Rooftops in NYC to check out, oh and lots of beautiful women here as well!

Their Hummus Platter 🥙 is great and their Chicken 🍗 Fingers with Fries 🍟 are delicious! 🤤 Arrive at sunset🌄 and bring your best camera 📷 for some Instagram-worthy🤳 shot 📸 of the City! 🌆 I wish I came here more often

    This place is awesome. I went there last night and someone poured their drink on me, however, staff heard my concerns and reviewed security footage and made the other party leave the club. They also made sure we were accommodated with a round of drinks which instantly made my night a lot better. This place also has very strong drinks. Definitely worth it!!

    I love this rooftop so much. It’s fun and people whoever hanging out here such a great community. Bartenders are professional, and the drinks that they make so tasty. Also, their cocktails are not like water, super strong and heavy. Prices are fair and understandable. It has a great view of the city from two different angles. We had great time with friends. Maybe they can improve musics! Other than that it’s a great rooftop. Also security guys are super professional and helpful to take pictures of you and your friends lol. Only thing there is wait time for a little bit especially if you go there on the weekend late time. We go there usually like 12am and wait like 10-15 minutes. But definitely best bar - rooftop in this area.

    Stayed at this wonderful and comfortable hotel for only a night but was a great first impression with a rooftop bar with pool. Great views of new york!Reception is warm and inviting with innovative design.Likely area ! The famous Katz delicatessen is right up the same street :)

    Ive been eager to che k out Mr.. Purple for 5 yrs. Finally made it a priority and glad I went with my family Sunday 12/14 at 2:30pm. Chocolate frozen drink with crushed peppermint will linger in my memories until I return again. Hummus with veggies and guacamole and chips way above average. Service impeccable. Plan to stay here in the spring.

Thats good because all cocktails are amazing.They extended the bar to 14th floor (that used to be lounge) and 14th floor seems to be awesome. See the video.Nothing more to add, please visit here, reserve a spot and let loose. You deserve it!Visit 1 - April 2022It is awesome place to be! The atmosphere, people, food and drinks are very enjoyable. The open terrace on both sides provide one of the finest views on NYC and bar area in the middle gets very busy as the day progresses. At times you get to wait 30 mins for placing a drink order. Some Drinks are unique in taste profile like under the volcano, lite my fire, peach blossom, LES Spritz and Lychee Martini are a must try.Get reservations and youll enjoy to the next level. You get two hours to reserve at once for you and your party, sit relax eat drink and dance. Its fabulous experience.

    This place is really nice its on a rooftop nice view not sure how it will be for the winter but during that summer fall season it is beautiful up there. The drinks are pricey but the music was pumping. However, the lines are long and I am not sure of the price. You got to dress to impress if you going in this place. Fellas shoes are must. This is not my kind of scene but if you want to have your party in a place to impress this is it for sure. I got same nice rooftop pictuers.

    A very fun New York rooftop bar. The food is not great but that’s not what you really come for. The drink are decent but pricey. The view is superb. You have an expansive view of the whole city with the novelty of a swimming pool.

    One of the best rooftop bars in the city. Views from the freedom tower to the Empire State Building. The drinks are very expensive, but its worth it for a little bit. There is a lower level that is quiet and bright and very nice with art and couches. I like being able to get retreat from all the noise for a few minutes so it was nice to be able to go downstairs and relax. They also have a small rooftop on the other side of the building where the views are not as good but its quiet and romantic.

    One word: stunning! Mr. Purple is a beautiful rootftop bar with a friendly staff. They propose good classic drinks. Prices are expensive but the cocktails were strong.Now lets talk about what makes this place amazing: the sightseeing! You will have a wonderful point of view over Manhattan. There are two terraces. The main one is really beautiful but a little bit busier than the second. If you are visiting New York and can afford it, I really recommend this bar!It looks very good too for a before party; the music was energizing and the crowd was happy!

    Went for happy hour a Wednesday afternoon. People were in the pool when we arrived but after that no one else went in. I loved the fries and the drinks were delicious. I had the penicillin and the smoke and mirrors. Loved the second one more. My friend had spring in the city which was also good just a bit fruitier and the hummus. The views are so pretty and it was a gorgeous day. Staff was friendly and I don’t remember her name but our waitress was super sweet and helpful.

    Trendy hotel rooftop bar with a magnificent view of Manhattan. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and the music was perhaps a little too pounding but the vibe was fun. There is a rooftop pool as well. Cocktails are NY-priced, around 17 dollars per cocktails. The service was surprisingly nice for this kind of bar, where it can often be snooty.

    Stayed at hotel indigo to visit family over thanksgiving and Brittany at Mr. Purple was the star. She took care of my son and I on thanksgiving and became a friend. We bonded over her trip to Italy as I’m Italian and gave me recommendations for places for my trip. I will be returning every night during my stay because of her. Thank you Brittany!!

    Had a wonderful time at this bar. We went there on a Sunday night (reserved a table ahead of time) and it was the perfect balance between a lively atmosphere and being able to have your own space. The staff is also great and helpful (although a little understaffed but that’s probably bc of covid). I especially appreciated the guard downstairs who was very kind. The snacks were also yummy.The only thing I was a little disappointed with were the drinks, we tried a couple of the specialty cocktails and they simply weren’t that great.Overall, wonderful experience and I definitely recommend this place (book a table ahead of time).

    DJ on Thursday was bouncy and perfect for post-dinner millennials. Most people coming from work around 9:30 not too crowded. So cool inside and not too loud that you can’t hear people speak.     I visited on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation but was able to walk right in without any wait. The indoor and outdoor spaces were separate, allowing you to freely sit and enjoy your drinks, though the outdoor area was quite crowded.Unlike many rooftop bars where the drinks tend to be subpar, the beverages here were actually quite tasty. Id love to come back and check it out in the evening next time.

Industrial design, modern furniture and indoor/outdoor setup make it the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a date night. The outdoor area is the showstopper – the views of Manhattan are gorgeous at sunset. There’s even a pool – more of a design feature than a functional one.

    Had a great time at Mr. purple. We flew in from the bay and Dede took care of us and went above and beyond her job to assure that we were situated with bottle service which came out in a timely manner. Also want to say thank you to Will (security) for checking up on us Bay Area boys to assure we were good and enjoying our time in NYC.

    Nice view and great atmosphere.The drinks were good as well as the appetizers. Came here for Brunch on a Sunday with a couple friends.They do serve very small portions, so if you’re very hungry, I recommend you grab something to eat before you go there.A little disappointed that there were a group of ladies drunk, even broke a glass and they were still not kicked out of the place.Definitely expected a better solution for their performance.

    Abraham the bathroom specialist was incredibly kind and helpful. I drank too much but he made sure I was composed and had an amazing time. He deserves a raise and a shout out. Everyone but Abraham was rude. I only gave a 5 star because of him.

    The views from this rooftop bar are worth the trip alone. The drinks are decent but the service can be slow at times, even during off-hours. If you are looking for an incredible view, this is the place, but if you are looking for first rate cocktails, there are other spots in the East Village that have better cocktail programs and charge less per drink.

    Great bar! We went in October, and it was a bit chilly so I’d say dress well. And I would recommend the bar to invest in getting fleece blankets for people to use when sitting outside.

    What a beautiful rooftop bar! The atmosphere is nice, the views on the deck are beautiful, the service is great and the drinks are great. I had the Casamigos Margarita ($18) and it was amazing! I will definitely be back.

    Incredible views, free entry. Very friendly staff, thoroughly enjoyed my visits.Drinks arent too badly priced, although $4 for a small glass of cola was a little pricey.The open rooftop views are incredible. Along with a heated pool that while I didnt get to try out, in warmer days must be wonderful.Overall 5 stars. Definitely recommend.

    Man one of the best places I ever been to. The manager I saw not only was understanding and just informative on the club but because of him i actually stayed an extra hours me had the best time of my life. It’s 7:01 and I will definitely have my birthday party here

    A really sweet rooftop that offers tremendous views atop the Indigo Hotel in LES. The biggest draw of Mr. Purple, without question, is the break-taking views of both downtown and uptown NYC. Few NYC rooftops offer the vantage points of Mr. Purple. As for refreshments, the cocktails are a step above the norm in terms of rooftop quality, the Mr. Purple is a fan favorite. The food (and service) is average at best but let’s be real, that’s not why you chose Mr. Purple. Another perk that I rather enjoy is having the option of both an indoor and outdoor experience. Furthermore, if you decide to stay as a guest in the hotel, you’ll receive exclusive pool access which offers the best seat in the house. Mr. Purple is a great option for after work drinks, first dates, and an excellent option for classic NYC views.

    Love love love the Manhattan skyline views from here. Mr. Purple is the restaurant/bar on top of Hotel Indigo on the Lower East Side. They do lunch, brunch, and dinner, and there are two terraces where you can sit outside. There’s also a little pool. You probably aren’t going to swim in it, but it’s nice to know that you could. This place isn’t as cheesy as a lot of the rooftop bars you see out there, but it does get crowded. So, unless you come early, you might have some trouble at the door.

    Nice bar, nice atmosphere, cool and relaxed, nice view BUT wasnt very happy with the oh we dont have almost anything left from their cocktail menu. Not that it sounded amazing, looks good though, but not the best way to tell me you are missing a couple of ingredients (which included even ginger beer and pineapple juice... what the heck??).A bit pricey but its a roof top bar right? From May onwards the Hot tube is open which looks nice and cool but seems to be guests only or if you buy a day pass but only until 7pm weve been told.Anyway, worths a visit

    Nice rooftop bar with lovely views of LES. It’s a chill spot to hang out but definitely pre game if you don’t want to spend a lot on the drinks — they are expensive. Crowd was a mix, slightly more upscale but there didn’t seem to be a dress code.

    The place is really nice, but the service is not that good. The bartender charged me $5 more for a drink because he was afraid I wouldnt tip, and the drink was horrible. Dont order a margarita, or a frozen one, much less a regular one, my sister took Aperol which wasnt good either, but the view is perfect.

    Great bar, awesome music, really good cocktails, very nice rooftop views. Only problem is bartenders can be a bit stuck up and primarily cater to female clientele before considering others. Nonetheless one of the best bars in LES.

    Me. Purple has one of the best views of the city for a bar! The drinks are pricey but tasty. I recommend The Mr. Purple! While this bar is one of my favorites, you definitely need to get there towards the beginning of the night. On the weekends during the summer, I’d say around 10pm the wait starts getting way too long to be worth the stay! There have been times we’ve waited 45+ minutes and still not got in so just get there early and you’ll be fine!

    Good crowd, good drinks, and great view. Not as great views as the rooftops in midtown, but during my several visits there, there was never a long line, which is a huge plus. Great place to start off LES bar hopping classy!
