Spacious bar. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. I like their decor. The atmosphere is laid back. I didnt try the food but maybe next time

  • Review 2 (2024-06-24 - Rating: 4)

The place has nice pizza and pasta options aside from the bar menu. Went with friends and had fun spending time here. The drinks aren’t crazily priced and they have few cocktail variety. Their strawberry mojito is worth a try. Also, recommend their Margherita and Spinach pizzas

  • Review 3 (2024-11-27 - Rating: 5)

The drinks, food and atmosphere are wonderful and staff and owners first class. Definitely coming back here. Can’t recommend this place enough

  • Review 4 (2018-05-21 - Rating: 4)

Large size pizza is indeed big enough for an adult. Was a bit on the salty side for my taste and the dough was definitely made with something sweet inside. It was good, not great, as it was as mentioned too salty, too much overall, asking in a way for a drink to go with it. We waited quite long for our meals, although there was not much going on. As the place is inside the little Italy district, most of the customers were tourists like ourselves. Service was friendly and the music good, although loud. Pasta portion are one the large side and we were overall happy with the meal. There is a 18% addition if you are a group (we were 5) and the drinks (beer and soda) are not cheap (glass of beer is 7$ - good, but a bit pricey). We ended up paying 128$ for 5, drinks and main courses. I think that’s NY. It wouldn’t have been cheaper anywhere else close by. Would we go there again? No. Could it have been worse? Yep. It’s a safe and in my opinion a pricey choice. Bathrooms could have been cleaner and the music not so loud. Other than that, there is not much that I have to criticize.

Great bar in a neighborhood which can be lacking in watering-holes. This place feels authentic without trying too hard. Theres some genuine history in the cracked mosaic floor and battered bar. The food is decent and the beers are reasonably priced, but the staff make it extra welcoming. Definitely worth stopping by.

  • Review 6 (2024-01-15 - Rating: 5)

We flew out from England last year to visit this place and Manhattan and we will be back in April, so much history and nostalgia, food was great and the host made us feel very welcome 🤙🏻

  • Review 7 (2024-08-04 - Rating: 5)

Mulberry Street bar is one of the most accommodating and most wonderful bar.Vivianne and Larry is absolutely amazing. The drinks and the Nonna calzone is to die for. Couldn’t even take a picture cause I devoured everything. If you’re a tourist looking for some good Italian. This is your spot. I promise. For the people one starring this place. Your loss 🤷🏾‍♂️.

  • Review 8 (2024-12-27 - Rating: 5)

I came from Florida the best restaurant from nyc ! I had pepperoni pizza, the best in nyc ! I loved it. The staff was friendly. Vivian was a sweetheart

  • Review 9 (2021-08-19 - Rating: 5)

Amazing pizza!! If you like cheese this place is for you, cheesiest pizza I’ve ever had! The bartender/waiter was great and the ambiance of the inside is so classic and fun to experience. Love that there were only italian wines available too, so authentic. We will be back.

  • Review 10 (2022-08-10 - Rating: 5)

Not busy at all for lunch and we went for the good value lunch special. The food was excellent, the garlic knotts were particularly good. Very friendly service and a great place to dine for an authentic little Italy restaurant

  • Review 11 (2024-06-30 - Rating: 5)

The food, the service, and the atmosphere never disappoint. Our server Peggy is so warm and friendly. She remembered us, joked with us, and even remembered what menu items we like. We had a very enjoyable experience.

  • Review 12 (2019-04-16 - Rating: 4)

Very delicious food. Inside seating area can be a bit cramped but I think that adds to the charm a bit. Tried the pizza, meatballs, and fried ravioli and all of them were spectacular.

  • Review 13 (2021-02-22 - Rating: 5)

Amazing staff and amazing food. Went to the neighborhood with friends to food-hop and came back here twice because we loved the food, service and vibe so much. (Sauce in the pizza was delicious and for an Italian, that’s a big deal). I will come back here every time I am in lower manhattan, I love it.

  • Review 14 (2022-04-08 - Rating: 5)

Once again we had a wonderful meal. I really like the food, people, and atmosphere.

  • Review 15 (2024-04-26 - Rating: 4)

Edited. Ok- seems to have recovered. Keep you posted. Pizza is actually bomb.Avoid. Just wow. The attitude and demeanor from the bartender/server was just unreal. I get you may be having a not great day, but you’re in the service business, don’t project that out to your guests. Can’t tell you if the food was good since we haven’t gotten anything yet.Don’t get fooled into coming in here even if the day is nice and they have outdoor seating.

  • Review 16 (2023-07-14 - Rating: 4)

Unfortunately I can’t rate the food because we did not eat there. We were enjoying Little Italy and looking for a place to smoke a cigar, the gentlemen at the door maybe owner or manager was like sit down at the table and enjoy your cigar make yourself at home. We had coffee and a couple of beers, it was great. We were so taken by the service there, they never rushed us and it finished off the night in a great way. Thank you for your hospitality and your great service.

  • Review 17 (2018-01-09 - Rating: 5)

The pizza Frankie Cee was just as legendary as the man its named after. My chicken parmigiana hero was exactly what it should be: filling, hearty and just the right amount of sauce to cheese to meat proportions.

  • Review 18 (2023-07-29 - Rating: 5)

This is a great place to go in Little Italy that’s not a tourist trap. The food and drink are excellent and the service is outstanding. The owners and staff are very friendly. There’s a long, rich history of the place being used as a location for filming many famous movies, but it’s not a rip-off tourist spot. This place really feels like Little Italy.

  • Review 19 (2024-08-29 - Rating: 5)

Larry was an awesome bartender. Knowledgeable of the history of the bar and whatnot..if you know you know. Awesome stuff.

  • Review 20 (2024-01-28 - Rating: 4)

We visited this bar because the 🎥 movie Donnie Brasco was filmed here. The bar was empty when we visited and we had a couple drinks here.

  • Review 21 (2024-04-16 - Rating: 5)

Ducked in here after walking around whats left of Little Italy after the winds really picked up. Totally unexpected but charming place. Maybe it was the tasty lemoncello vodkas drinks or maybe it was the music selection they had on, but it made for a great time!

  • Review 22 (2023-04-03 - Rating: 4)

We were eating our way through Little Italy when we were invited into the Mulberry Street Bar for dinner. They have Great food, drinks, atmosphere, and an IMDb list almost as long as their pizza menu! The portions were generous and we had plenty to take home for another meal. I would rate this a 5 but they didnt have a desert menu.

  • Review 23 (2024-10-13 - Rating: 5)

Great place to share food and smoke your cigar.

  • Review 24 (2019-08-03 - Rating: 5)

Loved this place! Stephanie, the bartender, was amazing!! And what makes it better, scenes from the Sopranos and Donnie Brosco were filmed here!

  • Review 30 (2019-02-03 - Rating: 5)

Awesome bar! Alot of history in the place that some tourists dont realize. Karaoke night was freaking great!!! Bobby Love on the mic, all the other old fellas who sang all the old classics.... Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, were awesome!!!!!!! Our drinks were delicious!!

  • Review 31 (2023-10-10 - Rating: 5)

The penne alle vodka and the ceaser salad were so delicious. Very well priced. Service was outstanding, got our food in less then 20 minutes. Wonderful experience

  • Review 32 (2023-04-19 - Rating: 5)

Lol, when I stopped in this establishment it must have been 1983 or 84. Mulberry St. was a lot different then, this was before the Ravenite had its front bricked over. When I went into the bar a couple of guys were at the bar close to the window. I got the once over as they stopped talking. I finished my beer and left. Was happy to see the place was used in the movie Donnie Brasco. Absorb history in this place!

  • Review 33 (2023-12-01 - Rating: 5)

    Absolutely delicious

  • Review 34 (2016-05-05 - Rating: 5)

Great experience, had a pretty good calzone. Really nice waitress that talked to us about the bars history. Better priced than other dining places on Mulberry street. Definitely would go back again.

  • Review 35 (2018-06-12 - Rating: 5)

Stopped off here looking for something nice to eat that would not rip us off like the cafe up the street charging $9 for a small coffee and then being surly as hell and getting the order wrong. Here we felt like family - the service was great, the lady of the house was amazing and the food was as good as I have eaten in places charging twice as much - cant beat a woodfired oven for pizza. Couldnt manage it all but they wrapped the remainder up in a doggy bag for me along wish some extra sauce which was much appreciated by my brother later. Visit here for a really good Little Italy NY experience (but dont expect a pudding) x

  • Review 36 (2023-03-10 - Rating: 5)

I’ve been eating at Mulberry Street since 1975 and make sure to go whenever I’m in NYC. Great food, best baked clams, and their sauce is as good as any restaurant in Italy

  • Review 37 (2019-03-23 - Rating: 5)

Great little iconic bar placed in little Italy. Very cosy and a good selection of drinks to cater for all. The staff member serving was very friendly and chatty and gave us some history of the place including the films and tv it had been involved with. We were not eating but the food that was being served looked really good.

  • Review 38 (2021-09-12 - Rating: 5)

Chill spot for shots and beers. The complaints about the food are over the top, this is a bar, bars sell bar food. The service is solid. The night I went there was one bartender and a bar back, they did an awesome job keeping everyones glasses full.

Came for the lunch special. One of the best deals in town. A Classic nyc spot. 91/2 weeks was filmed here. Among other films. It was a hotspot in the 1980s. And it still is. mulberry street was great back then in the 80s. it has sort of a dive bar feel to it but with good food. The pizza was very good. A good glass of wine and a small pepperoni pizza is recommended. Great joint.

  • Review 106 (2021-05-29 - Rating: 5)

Loved this place. Randomly looked for dive bars on Yelp when we were in the area and found this. Bartender was a very cool and friendly guy. Place was full of different people. Serves pizza. Ordered fried calamari which was very good. Left the place plenty buzzed and happy.

  • Review 108 (2018-01-04 - Rating: 4)

We stopped in for some drinks and ended up spending a few hours watching football. The staff and bartender were very polite considering that we were there for so long without order a main meal. We enjoyed some fried cheese and garlic knots, nothing great, but about what you would expect for a bar. Overall this was the perfect place for what we were looking to do.

This classic and old bar has been around for 100 years! It has what you need including old black and white photos of the good old rat pack and a type of family photo of folks that have come and gone from there. I bet they cash in everyday with the tourists that hit up this joint! Lucky owner :)

  • Review 115 (2019-09-20 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 116 (2012-10-09 - Rating: 5)

Possibly the best pizza I had ever had! I asked who had the best pizza in Little Italy and was immediately directed to Mulberry Street Bar and clearly for good reason. It wasnt designed to be an upscale restaurant which is why I gave it a 2 for decor but it was a charming little restaurant/bar and the pizza was amazing.

  • Review 117 (2019-07-15 - Rating: 5)

Favorite spot in Little Italy. Killer deep fried ravioli, amazing atmosphere, karaoke, and awesome staff. Thank you for always exceeding our expectations. 😍

If youre in Little Italy and need a drink, stop in this place. Friendly staff, karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights - these guys are good, if youre lucky you might get to hear the old guy who does Sinatra. Get the spinach rolls if youre hungry.
