    What an awesome down-to-earth establishment. The food is amazing, wide variety of beer and drinks, the bartenders are personable and super friendly, might be the best fish tacos on the east coast, amazing burgers, sandwiches, fries, all fantastic, and excellent happy hour prices. Murphys Bar is a must-see.

    Good sports bar. Havent had the chance to try the food since the kitchen was closed by the time I was ready to order, which was about 10:30pm. It does get packed in here for Thursday night football so I recommend coming earlier to get a seat. Bartenders were super fast and they are staffed appropriately, unlike some of the other bars in the area. This bar is a whole vibe. They have darts as well which is cool. They have different events on different weekdays. Happy hour is from 12pm to 6pm.

    A great new bar finally in the neighborhood! Murphys is a large bar, with beer, cocktails, food and entertainment! The bartenders are super friendly and nice. Really happy this side of 23rd ave has this bar!

    I flew into LGA and had 4 hours to spare on a football sunday. Found this gem. If I ever make it back this way Im definitely visiting. The corned beef samich was da best.This is a Bills and Mets fans home and soccer.

    Had a blast watching the soccer game - World Cup - Sunday before heading out to Nashville via LaGuardia. The corned beef sandwich (!!!!), beers and cocktails were 💯 %!!! The bartenders were fantastic. Great last stop to our weekend in NY! 🩷 Thank you.

    This is definitely the place for all your sports pub needs!Murphys offers an extensive menu, vast beer selection, and event specials!! The bartender was also very friendly and attentive.If this place looks familiar, its because it used to be Joes Garage Pub.Looking forward to going back!

    Update: Great spot for sports. Murphys has really done what it set out to do: provide a fun and inviting atmosphere with all the bar games, lots of tv for all the sports and an excellent menu. Everything is delicious, but do yourself a favor and order the infamous or the curry honey wings. If you havent stopped by yet, you definitely need to.Original: Cannot wait to visit this place! Ive known the owner, for many years and I know how much time and effort hes been putting in to make this a sports destination! Baseball, European and American football, tennis, you name it! Astoria needs a home for sports, and Im so excited for him and this bar!!

    Place is very cool spot, Staff are very cool, Everytime we go it’s full house food is great,Best spot to watch all the UFC events etc, if youre looking for a cozy sports bar in Astoria, Murphys is the place to be. Highly recommended!

    I know that Rory is a veteran bar owner in Astoria and I have seen the new spot and the plans, excited is an understatement. Astoria is seriously lacking in a quality sports bar and I cannot wait to watch the games here this year - and its so close to Mets stadium too~

    Murphys Sports Bar on 23rd Ave in Astoria, New York has quickly become my go-to spot in the neighborhood. As a newcomer, Ive frequented this bar often, and heres why I give it a solid five stars:Wings and Sunday Football: Their wings are absolutely fantastic, especially when youre settled in for a day of Sunday football. Theyve got the game-day atmosphere down pat.Great Company and Darts: The bar always seems to draw in a friendly crowd, and the availability of darts adds to the entertainment. Its a great place to unwind with friends.Welcoming Owner and Staff: The owner is incredibly welcoming and genuinely cares about the patrons experience. The staff is top-notch, always attentive and friendly.Neighborhood Gem: Murphys is a real gem to have in the neighborhood. Whether youre a Bills fan or not, the welcoming atmosphere, great food, and excellent company make it a must-visit spot.In short, if youre looking for a cozy sports bar in Astoria, Murphys is the place to be.     What Rory has done with an awesome space that was previously underutilized is incredible. He already runs one of the best bars in Astoria and Murphys is gonna be even better. Very excited for it to open in a few weeks

    Nice sports bar locate in Astoria, this is a great place to watch any sports, like Football, Soccer and baseball. I Came here to watch the Amazing New York Mets and the bar was pack, my recommendation is come before the game that you are looking to watch, if you want to watch any sports and have a table or seat on the bar. Beer selection that are in draft are a great variety, and food options is great. I had wings with French fries and portion was just enough, the taste was great. the service are on point, very nice, fast and friendly.
