Absolutely delicious veal! The atmosphere drew me and and I didnt regret it. The service was as good as the food. The bread basket was rather unique because it had a variety of different styles in it. I would definitely come back here. -

Nittis Italian restaurant offers an authentic and genuinely Italian dining experience, with a menu that reflects traditional Italian cuisine. The ambiance is beautifully designed and artistic, creating a pleasant atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant provides outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a charming alfresco setting. However, based on our recent visit, there is some room for improvement. The crab cake could be better, as it didnt quite meet expectations, and the pizza could benefit from a bit more flavor. Despite these minor shortcomings, Nittis remains a nice place to enjoy a meal, thanks to its authenticity and inviting environment. Also, it is very conveniently located in Times Square, especially if staying in that area -

I cant say enough good things about our experience! The food, drinks and service was stellar! The lasagna was some of the best ever and the fagottini porcini was amazing! With so many choices for dining out in the city, we are so glad we gave this place a try! -

Looking for an Italian dinner in New York City on the Fourth of July; I made a last-minute reservation at Nittis and wow were the stars aligned! I can honestly say that I’ve never been able to find authentic Italian food in the US until I stumbled upon this amazing gem! Situated on the corner of W 39th St and 9th Ave in Hell’s Kitchen, I found a piece of Italian Heaven! A quaint setting that holds 68 for indoor/outdoor dining plus a full bar; the mood is both intimate and eclectic. From the intriguing art design on the walls, to the detail of the bicolored roses, I was sold on ambiance alone! But the best part was the FOOD! The menu is vast & caters to all palates and appetites. The servings are more than plentiful and for the price you can’t beat it, especially in NYC! I started with a side salad comprised of the freshest kale, green pears, apples, fresh Gorgonzola, and cherry tomatoes tossed in a unique sage orange dressing. For the main course, I settled on Ricotta Ravioli paired with an imported Montepulciano that was perfection. Homemade hot, fresh bread to complement the meal and of course the crème brûlée & Italian Cheesecake were to die for! The ingredients were so fresh, I swear it was farm to table! The pasta is cooked to absolute perfection, served piping hot & melting in your mouth with every savory bite. The owner, Will, and manager, Andre, were very attentive and kept a sharp eye on every aspect making this dining experience one of the absolute best! I will legit hop on a 90 minute train just to eat here again! Perfezione deliziosa! -

Great authentic food. I asked the waiter for a mocktail and he made one up despite it not being on the menu, very caring and checked in. I had the gnocchi which was delicious and I would highly recommend. The garlic break was nice but definitely tasted slightly on the frozen side. The bathroom is pretty cool (stalls are super low though) nice atmosphere overall. -

Even with all of the chaos going outside, Nittis brought my lovely girlfriend and I into the New Year with a full belly and a lot of moments filled with laughter and excitement! Thank you again to one of the best servers I’ve had in a while (the shorter gentleman with the glasses) but as well as the gentleman who greeted my girlfriend and I at the front and made us feel at home! Happy New Years! 🍾🎉 -

Review 8 (2024-03-31 - Rating: 5)
Went in for an impromptu dinner with my partner who reluctantly agreed to go out for his birthday. The service was the absolute best, with the kindest servers and a very attentive staff. They provided sparkler like thing with the tiramisu in celebration and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday. It was so wonderful! We ordered both the raviolis in the menu and they were both incredible. Garlic bread that came with the table had the perfect texture and was also delicious. Tiramisu was also a light and creamy perfection. Will definitely be coming back to this place. They have a very special team working here. -
Review 9 (2024-03-26 - Rating: 5)
Pasta was amazing! Extensive menu. Limited wine list (if you don’t like Italian wine…ask if they have any from California open behind she bar) The fried cheese sticks kid/tween approved, but skip the arincini app.Manager had great recs for us when my daughter had a specific dessert request that wasn’t on their menu. Pssst:go to Amorino for gelato après Nittis. Pro-Tip: pedi-cab for ride back to your hotel or around Times Square. -

This restaurant slaps. We come during NYCC, and every year we have come has been an unforgettable experience. We look forward to it every year! Highly recommend. The sauce on every dish is the kind that you lick off the plate, just saying -

Review 12 (2022-05-21 - Rating: 5)
This was a bit of a pleasant surprise. We were in town for a concert and show and just stumbled upon Nittis. It is pretty unassuming, but the food and service was excellent. The pasta is handmade daily (or more frequently) and the quality it noticable. I would definitely go back! -
Review 13 (2023-05-27 - Rating: 5)
This was one of the best restaurant experiences Ive ever had. Despite that being New York City, this was one of the best Italian restaurants weve ever been to. We got seated quickly (it was closer to the closing time). The server approached us quickly and was extremely polite and diligent. We even were approached by a person who seemed to be an owner or a general manager. He noticed that we didnt have silverware on the table and asked one server to fix the situation. After we got our food served, he approached us and said, Buon appetito! The place has an incredible menu, will surely satisfy every taste (Italian and not...). The atmosphere inside is nice and welcoming, dimmed lights made the place real cozy. We sat by the big window that goes up all the way and you can even go outside through it. I ordered a Burrata Prosciutto salad (dont remember the exact name) and a side of grilled chicken, and my wife went with the ragu pasta with burrata. I also ordered Negroni and the bartender said while he was making himself one, he received my order and personally brought it to me, explaining that they use a special gin from Italy for it. We were extremely satisfied with the visit and it actually became a highlight of our trip to NYC. We will definitely be back! Grazie mille! -

We stumbled upon this place after walking all day. Make sure you have a reservation as it gets pretty tough to get in at least for dinner. We sat at the bar and had a great time - watching them expertly make these craft cocktails was such a fun experience. The food we ordered was very good. Plan on spending some time here and just enjoying the food, drink and ambience! -
Review 16 (2023-01-14 - Rating: 5)
I would say if you want italian food, this is the place to go. First of I came here with my wife around lunch time and rapidly the server came to us. She poured our glasses of water and proceeded to take our order. For appetizer we went with something basic, like the mozzarella sticks. Then I ordered the lasagna and my wife ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. Let me tell you. FAST and really good food too. Definitely would come again on my next trip. -
Review 17 (2024-11-26 - Rating: 5)
We’re here on vacation from the UK and we had a fantastic meal here this evening. I will even go as far as saying it’s the best Italian I have ever eaten!! Staff were also very welcoming and friendly. I’d recommend anyone looking for Italian cuisine in NYC to come here as a must!! -
Review 18 (2023-09-19 - Rating: 5)
At the end of our visit to NYC last week, we wanted to sample a trendy Italian restaurant within minutes of our hotel and Nittis was the choice. They did not disappoint. I will say that all the windows to the patio area were open, and after a rainy few days, it was still very humid and warm. However, the manager (Bless him) came to my rescue and suggested a table in line with one of their circulating fans. The food and atmosphere were very good. We had Pasta Alfredo (specially made for my husband - its not on the regular menu), Veal Sorrentino and a nice house Malbec. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and a great conversation with the manager about Italy and its food. Good job and thanks you. -
Review 19 (2024-08-12 - Rating: 5)
The service was excellent and the food was superb. We were looking for an authentic Italian Restaurant on our weekend trip and Nittis has it all. The meatballs had the most fresh shaved Parmesan cheese and house meat sauce along with the homemade Caesar salad and chicken. I strongly suggest Nittis if you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine. -
Review 20 (2023-11-29 - Rating: 5)
Absolutely loved this restaurant! We didnt have reservations (six of us), but the servers were very quick to set up a spot for us. The service was great (and fast!) and the prices were reasonable. I had salmon, and it was amazing!! -
Review 21 (2023-03-10 - Rating: 5)
I got avocado toast and added a fried egg. I loved the avocado toast! The focaccia bread was an interesting, but delicious touch and I loved the salad. I also got a side of truffle fries, which were the BOMB!! There was so much truffle flavor! I would order these again and again. I also had a mimosa that hit the spot. My dad got the French toast and enjoyed it as well! -

Came here in a large group and was well taken care of. There was a slight mishap with a member of our party getting the wrong item but they quickly took care of us and have her an extra drink on the house. Bravo! -
Review 24 (2024-11-05 - Rating: 5)
My cousin from Mexico was in town for the marathon and although time was short, we had one night to reconnect and share a meal. Obviously Italian is the way to go. We found Nittis on Google Maps and it seemed reasonable. Clean, standard size, the menus have a cool leather cover, there is an art piece front and center. As for the food, there was standard faire, we went with the spagetti and meatballs, salmon, grilled chicken and pasta cacio and pepe. We also had the brushetta and calamari, which was excellent (crunchy). My wife had a Negroni... which was awesome. We stayed for a while 2+ hours until they closed, they were very amicable. I would highly recommend you check out this place if you are in that area. -
Review 25 (2024-12-07 - Rating: 5)
To be honest the chicken parmigiana here is something special crispy, cheesy and that sauce is perfect. I paired it with a side of Truffle Oil & Pecorino Frites. You gotta try it, trust me. -

Review 31 (2024-09-14 - Rating: 4)
Pretty good restaurant. The starter bread was excellent, along with their tea. I had the chicken Parmesan and it was a good dish.I do think the noodles could have been cooked a few minutes longer. And the price was a tad high for what you pay for. Overall great place. -
Review 32 (2022-12-27 - Rating: 5)
This restaurant is welcoming and is the Perfect place for a dinner date or a family meal. It has a truly authentic Italian vibe with a twist of modern luxury yet affordability for every wallet. The food is tasteful, clean, and simple with a flavor profile that suits the pallet and the tummy. I started off my visit with a glass of Melbec or two. I had the tomato bruschetta and the appetizer of roasted brussels sprouts which I highly recommend. The brussels sprouts were fresh and had a beautiful sauce that enhance the flavor of the brussels sprouts. There were cranberries and a balsamic reduction that created a wonderful sweet yet savory complement to the veggie. It was so delicious I ate the full appetizer myself. I just had to keep coming back for just one more bite and before I knew it, it was gone! The bruschetta was simple and delicious as well. The tomatoes were all diced perfectly the same, it was enhanced by the flavor of garlic that they clearly rubbed onto the Italian bread below, just as my family would prefer when making dinner together. Then fresh basil was placed on top of the tomatoes under a light bed of arugula. What a flavorful dish! I finished my meal with a light and fluffy tiramisu. This dessert is definitely shareable and paired with well with a fresh espresso and a side of amaretto. I highly recommend mixing the amaretto with the espresso it makes for a delicious after dinner drink. Now let’s talk ambience! This cool downtown vibe with a back lite long bar that stretches across the right side of the space was tasteful and inviting. That is where I sat. However, the restaurant could comfortably seat a nice amount of people without feeling crowded. The attention each server was putting into ever guest showed. The vibe was lighthearted and fun and welcoming for every style of person, individually or as a family or group of friends. I got the pleasure to speak with the bartender for just a bit. Enough to know that the man behind the bar was full of passion for what he had created. The love of his menu showed, the love of his atmosphere showed, and his love for giving showed as his face lit up with excitement and passion as he spoke about the restaurant. In short, I highly recommend visiting here and experiencing the wonderful food, warming service, and incredible atmosphere for yourself. I am sure you will love it as much as I did and want come back again and again! -
Review 33 (2023-03-06 - Rating: 5)

We had a quick trip to the city and ended up eating dinner here twice, because it was that amazing. The pasta is definitely homemade and fresh. I had the house special, panzerotti with speck, both nights. My husband had the quid ink pasta one night and the fagottini the other. The atmosphere was lovely. The exterior wall was open both nights we were there, and the evening was gorgeous.Service was friendly and they were extremely welcoming and patient with our young children (2, 6, 9) . We were able to meet the chef/owner the 2nd night and was absolutely the kind of person you want to support. We would absolutely recommend. -

Great place where the food was excellent and the service matches. We were waited on by 4 people including the gm. If it were for the dragsters and them not selling me some t shirts on display we may have doubled up we will come back to Nittis for the excellent food and service. Fairly priced too. Loved it -
Review 44 (2024-06-29 - Rating: 5)
This is a lovely Italian spot kitty-corner and right in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. We were seated as soon as we arrived (you can also choose to sit outside, which looked lovely), and I felt like I was in a cozy neighborhood restaurant - which it is, by the way. The waiters took care of us extremely well, and checked back frequently to make sure we were happy. We got a couple appetizers (arancini and the truffle fries, the latter because I knew I was going to get pasta that didn’t include fries), which were great. The garlic bread and oil dip that came before everything arrived was insanely delicious, and I’m pretty sure I could live off just that. My spouse got spaghetti with braised meatballs and I got bucatini pomodoro. Mine was excellent, not overwhelming and I didn’t feel heavy when I stood up. My spouse’s looked and tasted amazing as well, and I could tell those mouth-watering meatballs were ground in-house (you can just tell, you know?). Overall, it was a truly wonderful dinner on a summery, sunny Saturday evening, and a place that combines great food with great atmosphere and great service. It was also super close to our hotel, and if we were in town longer I’d definitely come back to try different things. -

WOW! What can I say? Not only was the food delicious and reasonably priced, but the service was impeccible. The interior decor was luxurious and romantic. Perfect date spot in Hells kitchen! I went with my husband for a date and we had a very romantic evening. There are some lovely florals and a candle on the table which really complemented the ambiance. The owner, Will, regularly made rounds, checked in on patrons, held doors open, and sometimes acted as host to keep things running amoothly. The crown jewel of our experience, however, was our waitress Linda. She was so sweet, always smiling, and excited about the menu. She recommended the most amazing drink to me, her personal favorite, that wasnt even on the menu. Its clear that every person involved in the operation has passion and pride for this restaurant! As for the food, we had the meatballs as an appetizer, received free garlic bread, and had the pappardale with burrata and fagottini al porcini as mains. The fagottini was absolutely stunning. The rosemary and truffle oil went really well with the pasta. Highly recommend!Overall, this is a lovely and romantic Italian restaurant recommended for couples and date nights! -

We spoke with the owner while we were there and he and his staff made our dinner an unforgettable experience. I cannot speak highly enough about the food, drinks and service. Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Hells Kitchen. Moderately priced with good sized servings. I recommend the eggplant rollatini as a starter. My two favourites were the gnocchi and shrimp and the spaghetti with braised meatballs. The bread was seasoned and toasted and perfect for mopping up the pasta sauces.Drop me a comment or a like if you found this helpful. -

This restaurant was exceptional in all the ways that make you want to come back soon and often. The environment was cozy, warm and welcoming. The service was top notch and the food was fresh and delicious. We asked the kitchen for a modification on the traditional calamari on the menu and they were not only happy to accommodate us, the chef came out to discuss it with us before he fired the meal. We highly recommend coming here when you are in the city. -

I love this place. The food is fantastic!!!! Huge selection selection of options. We love our waiter Vilson?? He is super friendly, but so is everyone else. They turn around your order quickly if needed prior to hitting a nearby show, or you can simply relax and take you time. We love sitting outside and enjoying the quiet 39th street side. Close to just about every thing. A true gem, and we make certain to visit a couple of time every time we’re in town! Enjoy! -

Friendly staff and lovely Italian food in a not so busy area. The tiramisu was especially nice and to think we nearly didn’t stay for desert!Only comment was maybe the staff were a bit too quick (which is at least better than too slow!) We felt a little over priced, but maybe that is just NY. -

Amazing! This place has great food, ambiance and especially SERVICE! I ordered the lamb chop special HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Also, the coffee comes with a mini milk bottle of warmed milk and a crystallized sugar stick!!! The music was on point and the red velvet seats very comfy. This place is great for a date or a larger party like we had. They are happy to split check for you. Only down side I would say is if you don’t want to order appetizers the portion size of entrees can be small. I ordered the nanas salad and meatball and shared them both so to me the portion of the entree was PERFECT! Not too cheap but WORTH IT! Visit this place ASAP!!!!! -

We came here for late night dinner as it was right next to our Airbnb and I’m so grateful to have found it! We were greeted by several waiters with Italian accents and promptly seated. We had excellent service as we ate a pizza and side of brussel sprouts as well as a glass of rose. All of the food was exceptional so we decided to end the night with a slice of cheesecake which did not disappoint. We’ll be back! -

Went for early dinner after show at javits center. Started with arancini which were just OK. They did not have beef or peas inside like most others but they were tasty and served with good homemade sauce. I had chicken mama Mia which was very good. Also had flour flourless chocolate cake which was a little too hard. Like they served it straight out of the fridge. I would not order that again. Though they did bring it out with a sparkler for birthday. DB6 drink was very good too. All in all I would def go back here again. -

Literally the best experience weve had since being in NYC! We were skeptical bringing 2 young children and a baby into here (our baby was tired and covered in chocolate 😂) and they couldnt have made us feel more welcome!!!! Very beautiful place, Excellent food!!! The girl upfront (I believe Linda) was amazing and brought us cake on the house, held our baby and chatted casually through out the night. The owner I believe came over a couple times to check in and even made our boys some special chocolate desserts that were amazing they loved it! Needless to say we left STUFFED! By far the best experience weve had here! If youre looking for a break away from the chaos and rude people, here you can find genuine hospitality and people you can actually converse with and relax!! Along with the amazing staff the food was perfect! Definatly Recommend all to visit!!! -

Review 114 (2023-07-16 - Rating: 4)
Our friends made a reservation for Nitti’s on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was not as busy and had their patios wide open (after a rainy day it was quite humid and muggy). We were seated promptly tucked away before the entrance. Our server was quick to get our drink orders—although they were on the pricier side ($19), and super slow to arrive as the bartender was by himself. We ordered the Brussels sprouts ($15) app for the table and it arrived piping hot, and quite delicious with the honey drizzle and cranberries. As for the entrees, it took a while, and we had to ask for the standard accompaniments (chili flakes, pepper, fresh cheese). All the dishes were tasty, with lots of flavourful and to temperature. My dish—Pappardale Ragu with Burrata ($28)—however, was soggy and overly drenched in sauce. Would recommend to steer clear.Overall, food was good, ambiance could be better as it was a mixed crowd of transient tourists, to really young adults, to older couples. The bill with tax and tip for 4 came to $300. -

Strolled in about 3pm on aFriday afternoon to an empty restaurant. Read a few reviews after sitting down and was expecting tourist fare and overcooked pasta. However all 6 of us each ordered various dishes and everyone was cooked well and bang full of flavour . The pasta was cooked just right, and tomato sauces tasted home made and fresh, the pesto was delicious. Overall the entire meal was so great, that we all decided to order it again for dinner via Uber, the same night! And despite having to be delivered about 15 blocks away, and pasta over cooking in a close takeaway box, the food was consistently good and delicious.Definitely 👍🏽👍🏽. -

Very nice Italian restaurant in the (comparatively) quieter 9th Ave stretch of Hells Kitchen. Very good attentive yet not-pushy service. Good food. Not too noisy but we started at 5:30 pm (on a Saturday). -
Review 117 (2021-07-15 - Rating: 5)
I didnt have much while I was here but the calamari and some margaritas so I cant really rate the food too well. The calamari was exceptionally great, served with a huge lemon and marinara sauce. I was able to use the left over lemon juice in my margarita which was also amazingly delicious. The music was techno but nice, the place was very beautiful with really dope art drawn onto the walls. Theres inside, outside and bar seating. They have regular tables and family booths, and the staff is super sweet and all beautiful (guys and girls alike). The bathroom is amazing! It has party lights and its clean. I had a really relaxed enjoying time here and I would definitely come back. In all I definitely recommend this restaurant for a great evening out in NYC. -

Tried this place for the first time last night because it was close to the theatre and we were in the city for a show. We ended up getting there later than we expected so we had less than 30 mins to eat and leave. We expressed that to the workers and boy did they exceed my expectations. Everyone was so attentive and the service was excellent. The food was good too. The pasta was cooked to perfection. Not to mention the atmosphere is nice. We had drinks, appetizers, and a main course in under 30 mins and made it to our show just in time. I will definitely be coming back here. :) -

It was our first time going to this great spot in Hells Kitchen and I can see what all of the fuss was about. Will, the proprietor, has created an atmosphere for Italian food that will leave you full and also a part of the family. The Meatballs were amazing along with the calamari. The lasagna was delicious and the shrimp pesto dish was wonderful as well. Dont forget the sangria which was top notch. To top it off, we had the chocolate canolis with fresh fruit which was the icing on the proverbial cake. Needless to say we will definitely be back to this establishment so head to 39th and 9th & experience Nittis. -

Nice italian food. Papardelle with ragu and mozarella was sooo good! A small thing to improve is that they bring us the bread without the oil and vinegar, so we est all the bread and then, afrer 10 minutes or so they fill our plates with the oil and vinegar so we could not taste that. -
