It was extremely enjoyable to sit outside in the summer. The ambiance and location of the place are very nice. I had avocado toast, my boyfriend had a hamburger. I did not like the aperol . My avocado toast was 7/10, my boyfriends had a hamburger 8/10.

Passing by, the cute patio and interior caught my eye, so I popped in. While their food menu looked delicious, I was craving something sweet, so I went with the tiramisu and an espresso martini.The tiramisu was made in-house with espresso, custard cream, and cocoa powder on top - such a nice touch and the flavors blended perfectly. The espresso martini, however, seemed a bit under-mixed and separated.Still, the cozy cafe-bar vibe and friendly server made for an enjoyable experience. Next time, Ill have to try their food offerings too!

One of the most affordable and friendly places to have your delicious brunch or lunch. We were in the neighbourhood and saw this cute place and decided to come in. We were seated at one of the bigger tables. Service was friendly, professional, and quick! We couldn’t believe the affordable price when reading the menu. Thought there was a catch. But no, our meals (chicken and Greek salad) were delicious and we finished everything and cleaned up our plates. Would definitely recommend this to others.

Great experience, great food. We took our chances coming here with a pulsd deal, definetely worth it. Had no issues finding parking, definitely a plus in NYC. Restaurant was full and was unable to make a reservation but was told we can walk in. We were able to walk in and were seated right away. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and everything was on point. Definitely recommended.

The restaurant was so beautiful, the music was amazing, decor was adorable. Overall vibes were so high. Food was absolutely AMAZING and such a great price. My friend and i had a negative encounter with another customer and the staff was a dream. They offered us dessert, water and let us stay in the back to calm down. The owner was so sweet as well. Will 100% BE RETURNING! Forget grateful for the AMAZING STAFF!!!

I came here and ordered a latte. It was fancy. I was given warm milk, and I poured the coffee in with it. It was super delicious. The bartender was very friendly. This is a cafe where you can order food or drinks, including alcoholic beverages. I watched the server make many of the drinks. They looked fancy and delicious.

I lived in NYC for three months, and during this period I’ve been to the Old Fashion cafe several times. Its a fantastic place for those seeking high-quality cocktails and good food at a fair price. The Italian guys behind the counter are always ready to party, and everything is complemented by an atmosphere and a welcoming vibe that will make you feel at home, even on your first visit! Its a place I will definitely return to as soon as Im back in the city!

If Espresso Martinis are your thing this spot has one of the best. The owners (who also do the bartending/waiting/ensuring you’re enjoying the experience) are Italian and Italians make great espresso.The vibe is warm and chill. The size makes it feel neighborhoody. The vibe allows you to feel like you’re out while also being able to chat with whomever you came with. Wether you sit at the bar or a table you feel like you’re part of the atmosphere.

Im a bit upset that this place doesnt have 5.0 stars! Upon walking down the stairs, your quickly transported out of NYC in a quaint cafe in some other far away country.The decor is perfect for a first date or to catch up with friends. Its the desert that I would make sure you dont leave without tasting.. the best way to put it is a deconstructed tiramisu, that has a warm cafe favor cake and the smoothest cream melted all around it.

I got there around 1pm, the place was empty but an hour later it got really full. The coffee and food were good, but we got burrata and the tartare as starters, the burrata was cut in little pieces and just the presentation wasn’t so great, it didn’t come with ant kind of bread or anything. But the lentil soup and pasta were really good, I just wish the soup or starters would come with a piece of bread at least. Also, the service was ok, they forget sometimes to check on the tables, we kept a pile of empty plates waiting for someone to take them.

Last night, after leaving an event, we decided to stop here for something to eat and a glass of wine. It was our first time visiting, but it definitely wont be the last. The place stands out for its excellent atmosphere and service; the staff last night were extremely attentive, creating an ambiance where everyone seemed to be having a great time. The music is simply excellent, perfectly complementing the quality of the food and drinks. Its clear that the owners pay close attention to every detail of the service and the concept of the place, ensuring an experience of very good taste.

I planned a surprise birthday party at Old Fashion Café and I couldn’t recommend enough this place. After contacting 20+ places in NYC, Antonello and his team were the nicest and most professional people to work with by far. The location was ideal, the space was a perfect fit to accommodate our private party (20+ people) at a reasonable price. We got to decorate the place to our own taste and played our own music. The drinks were exquisite and the food was absolutely amazing.Our group had a blast, thanks to the Old Fashion Café team. Go check them out for any private event, they’ll make it happen!!

Italian air in New YorkWe went here for lunch. Fed up with burgers and seasoned meats we opted for a Cesar salad... delicious, the chicken was cooked divinely, the Cesar sauce very delicate.To conclude the lunch we ordered a tiramisu, really delicious, coffee still hot because it was freshly made.The owner very friendly and helpful.If I were to end up in those areas again I would happily return.

Wow! Just wanted to take a short coffee break with a seat. But then we ate a little something. Not exactly cheap, but definitely worth the price. Super fresh ingredients, the salmon was only fried very briefly, the pasta was freshly prepared and the bowl was also very tasty. Great atmosphere with a great music selection & a nice & chatty waiter who mentioned his hometown of Puglia several times. Wed love to come back
