    This pub was near our hotel so we popped in for an early lunch & to watch some soccer. It was cold out so the French Onion soup and Chicken Pot Pie really hit the spot! Their burger was good, too. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area (plus we liked the holiday decor).

    Restaurant is near our hotel. Initially we thought it looked a little commercial/touristy. Once inside its a neat place that has been open since 2022.Place doesnt have a kid specific menu. Ours ended up loving the penne alla vodka so much that we ordered a second dish for them.Would I recommend this place, yes. Its a great little place to stop and enjoy the food/drinks.

    Very dangerous onion soup… we live 5mins away and this soup always call me in late night. Cheese was so good and of the right level of savory. It’s divine It’s magical. Much better than quality bistro

    Best pint of stout I had on my trip to New York.The staff are extremely friendly, the atmosphere is fantastic.You could swear this bar was plucked out of Donegal and dropped in the heart of manhattan.Best of luck Paul and team.

    If you are looking for an Irish pub in New York that makes you feel like you are in Ireland, this is the spot! Such an incredible atmosphere. Made it to P McDaids twice on our stay in New York and both times had incredible service and refreshingly cold pints! A little slice of Ireland in the middle of New York. Definitely recommend!

    McDaid’s is absolutely AMAZING! My dad and I visited three times during our stay in New York because we just couldn’t get enough! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was vibrant and fun, and the food was out of this world! Every visit was an absolute delight, and we made such wonderful memories here. We highly, HIGHLY recommend McDaid’s to anyone visiting New York – it’s simply the best!”

    Visited over Christmas very friendly bar staff and the meet and greet as you walk in.Good atmosphere with screens located to watch your favourite sport.Well worth a visit with nice food. nice

    Visited NYC from England in May and stayed at The Park Central across the road from McDaids so made this our local. The food in here was great and reasonably priced. Nice Guinness and Heineken. All the staff were also freindly and helpful. Definately worth a visit if youre near 7th Ave.

    Here for the weekend and this place was right around the corner. Reviewed the menu outside prior to going in. It seemed a little high but aftereating I was happy. I had the beef stew on this cold and windy day, it hit the spot. It was a big bowl full of stew. The flavor was rustic and flavorful. The holiday mule was a good pairing. I recommended the dish to another couple as I was leaving. If I come back to New York City I will definately eat here again.

    Big fan of the bar! Seriously delicious french onion soup. Good saltiness, perfect amount of cheese and croutons are still crunchy. Chicken quesadilla was really good too.Mike the bar man is a gem. Very friendly and will put on whatever sport youre looking for. Will come back when Im in the area.

    Visited this pub on my visit to NYC. The bartenders were friendly and quick. Great drinks and great service. Would recommend to anyone visiting NYC. Will definitely be back when I’m back in town. GREAT Hot Toddys. I didnt get my bartenders name but he’s a red or strawberry blonde headed Irish fella. Friendly and amazing customer service

    Midtown has lost a number of great pubs and restaurants since the pandemic. P. McDaids now is truly the nicest Irish Pub in Midtown Manhattan. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the pub food is excellent, and most importantly, this establishment has, by far, the best bartenders in all of Midtown. A must visit place if youre looking for a great Irish Pub.

    First night in NYC and this place was a 3 minute walk from our hotel. Best decision ever! I’ve eaten Shepherds Pie in Dublin and theirs was just as good. Super reasonable prices and perfect atmosphere.

    Well I wouldnt go to the greatest Pub ever but for this area the service was good, prices reasonable and food pretty good. No complaints other than the chicken tenders were not of high quality. The place was playing music and I thought it was loud but that seems the status in NYC.

    We were seated immediately with a great crowd of people. The atmosphere was just right for an Irish pub. We were served our Guinness drafts in a tall glass with very cold dark beer. The apps and food were great. The Sheppards pie had the perfect balance of filling and mashed potatoes.The fish and chips had a nice portion of fish. Very satisfying. I would highly recommend this place on the weekends. Great customer service. The wait staff was always available to assist us with any questions or to order more food.

    Had an absolute blast here on a Saturday night. Everyone was friendly, the service was quick and the entertainment was fantastic. We came in expecting to have one drink and move on but ended up staying for hours. The singer Derek Dempsey was talented and very personable. Played everything from great Christmas classics to Jay-Z. Highly recommend this place!

    I came here with my husband as we didn’t want to eat at any of the chain restaurants nearby. We both ordered espresso martinis, which happened to be some of the best we’ve had. To eat, I ordered the chicken pot pie. I love the way they made the chicken pot pie, the pastry was removable/set on top of the pie contents and it worked out perfectly. The puff pastry was flaky and melted in my mouth, and the pie itself was perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered and loved the turkey burger, as it was moist and flavorful. We will definitely come back when we visit again!

    Came here for a quick lunch with my family. We enjoyed atmosphere as much as we enjoyed food. Service was excellent, not pushy, but always around - greets to Alvaro.I enjoyed my steak and was matched perfectly with Long Island IPA. Perfect lunch!

    This spot blew my expectations out the water. Very nice spot with the most pleasant customer service. Alex definitely did her thing. Definitely ask for her! I recommend you check this spot out. You won’t be disappointed.

    Capped off my trip to NYC with an Amazing Traditional Irish Dinner. Walking up Seventh ave and popped in with the Family. Greeted at the door immediately. The Pub was decorated beautifully for the Holidays. Server was super attentive even as busy as it was she anticipated every move. Definitely my new go to in NYC

    Honestly I loved the vibe of the place. I got the Reuben and the Liam McCarthy and it was amazing. To be honest, one of the best Reuben I have ever had. I definitely will be back 💜

    Happened upon this place on our walk from Central Park back to Times Square. It is excellent. Service is great, food is great. I wouldn’t change a thing. Worth it.

    My husband and I were walking back from Central Park and we happened to see this place. My husband said he always wanted to try a traditional Irish pub so we went in to try it we were greeted with a smile and the wait staff was very friendly and close by if we needed anything. The food ccame out very quick and tasted amazing if we come back to nyc we will definitely come back.

    I brought my family from ireland in to P.McDaids on Saturday after walking around Manhattan. The minute you walk in you feel like your in a village pub in Ireland. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful and brilliant. We where greeted at the door by a lovely lady ( I can’t remember her name ) and shown are table . We ordered 5 main Courses and they where all delicious 🤤. ( a taste of home ) I would highly recommend this bar to anyone that wants a good hearty meal and a pint or cocktail while walking around the sites of Manhattan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
