    This is a must visit when you are in the city. My wife and I were looking for a good pub and found this bar. My father is from Newcastle so naturally, we gave it a shot and I’m glad we did. Great bartenders, great conversation! I recommend this bar to everyone. Cheers.

    Update 12/1/2023 - to be remembered every time I visit is just so awesome. I visit NY for work 2-3 times a year and this last visit was no different! Shout out to Fergal who is just an awesome human! Look forward to the next visit! Oh and the music this visit was top notch as always!I’ve been coming here since 2017 from Seattle. It’s 2023. Obviously there was a break during covid. Every time I come here it’s the same. Welcoming. Not pretentious. Good music. Great bartenders. Highly recommend stopping by and having a drink.

    Really friendly staff. Proper NUFC bar in the middle of NYC. Lots of TVs to watch the matches. Sound on. Happy hour 4pm till 8pm daily. Bring your own food in.

    Recently visited NYC with a friend to attend Billy Joel concert. We were looking for a small town atmosphere for some drinks the day b4 and day of the event. As luck would have it, we found Dillons. Visited both locations, and were fortunate enough to have Ashley behind the bar on both days. Although Dillons does not serve food, Ashley suggested locations nearby that served excellent food. Both locations made us feel more than welcome among many obvious regulars, and the home town, small town atmosphere was just what we were looking to find. We would revisit NYC just to have some drinks at Dillons and enjoy Ashleys strong Irish accent :). Include one, or BOTH, of these locations in your next visit. You will not be disappointed!

    Great bar, we are Newcastle United football fans and this bar was reccomended to us to watch the game.Good service and atmosphere and a really warm welcome from the Toon Army supporters there👍⚽️

    Very chill and relaxed atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. These folks do buybacks (a dying practice in New York City). Bartender was very nice and cordial. Love the wall decorations, very old school. We drank a lot and the tab came to about $80. Highly recommended.

    The perfect pub if you are in the desperate need of a quick pint. Its the definition of fast drink instead of fast food because sadly this place is lacking of food or at least snacks but I think its the concept of this place to only serve drinks and I have to say they are doing that on the best level.

    Did a solo trip in NYC this weekend. Stopped at the Empire State Building and just started walking in hopes of finding somewhere cool. Heard cheers and laughter coming from this place so I decided to come check it out: it was more than I was hoping for! The atmosphere was so fun, bartenders were BUSY but attentive to me, music playlist was fabulous & I loved scream singing with the crowd :) definitely check this spot out, I wish I lived in NYC cause that would be my spot without a doubt!!! :)

    Has a very rustic old world feel. Dark wood furnishings, 2 screens with soccer and one with golf. Lots of Guinness memorabilia and such. Bartender warms up to you on your second drink. And not crowded at all for noon on a Saturday. When I go back to NYC Im def hitting this place first. No idea what its like at night so maybe thats when Ill go next

    I like this place. Its less than a 10 minute walk from my sisters apartment. I mean, I can drink, almost to excess, people watch, watch sports.....its great. I still have to wrap my head around these NYC prices, but oh well, you only live once.This place was extra helpful for me last night. It allowed me to get away and take care of me. I needed it. Im just here for a few weeks from San Antonio, Texas to assist my sister who had major surgery. Most of the day, Im tending to her. At night, Im able to get away. And I really needed to get away last night. I know this paragraph isnt part of the review, but Im glad theyre close enough for me to get away.Ill be back...most likely tonight.

    Staff are efficient, very accommodating and are great at banter. An actual Irish pub atmosphere in NY, felt at home with all the staff. The biggest selling point are their Taytos ofc but they also have happy hour and beers of the month. They have all the typical Irish beers, whiskys but also some local beers along with basic largers.

    A go-to bar if you work in the area. Most importantly, the drinks are incredibly inexpensive, but aside from that its a nice sized place with a pool table, tvs and a good amount of seating. The staff is always friendly, and they have big couches in the back if you want to sit down, with a group of people, have some drinks and order in some food. The downside is that due to its awesomeness, the bar does get packed, especially during big games. Still, I strongly recommend a visit.

    A cosy little Irish bar in Midtown Manhattan on 36th. Very relaxed atmosphere with a nice variety of Irish rock and pop playing in the background not too loud. An excellent variety of beer on tap from Guinness, Modelo to Carlsberg and many more. My cousin said the Guinness he had there was much better than anywhere else he went to. Bar tenders are friendly. A great place to go for a drink and chat. Its my go to spot in Midtown.

    Nice little pub. Small, but there was room to sit down and relax. Waitress was at our table within a min and quick with our drinks. Place was noisy but not in an annoying way, just people enjoying themselves, and the music wasnt bad. Thus place didnt excite me, but it was a good place to stop and sit down for a bit.

    Peter Dillion’s 36th, is an outstanding Irish pub with a great vibe. This is my very first visit and the bar staff are lovely, and make you feel right at home. Therere large screen TVs perfect for watching games with warm, friendly customers. The drinks are excellent, with a wide selection to choose from.     I like this place to chill out with friends. There is no food but you can bring yours or order in. Service could be a bit better, but having lived in Manhattan forever, you wont get top notch full attention service anywhere unless you pay for a bottle/table. The location is convenient near Grand Central, I would keep going to this place.

    Katie is a super nice bartender and when I asked her for drink recommendations she gave me some lovely information. Definitely would come here again. Great vibes all around. I really appreciate the atmosphere and would definitely come again and would recommend my own family to come here and enjoy their top shelf products. They even have Midori liquor, which is a lovely addition to any fruit based drink. Im so glad that they had it available. They have a very comfortable place to hang out with friends or even by your self. You always feel at home. It’s a great place if your wandering away from Times Square and need a nice drink on your way to the hotel. It’s completely Irish owned which is super cool. Everything that they offer binds together to give it’s patrons the best of the best. As someone that lives in the Bronx but works in Manhattan I can say that it’s a lovely place to stop at if you’re coming off work or if you’re visiting. Definitely check this place out. If you have questions about what to order or drink at local places they can point you in the right direction. Superb place that I can recommend family and friends as well.

    Dillons has been the preferred afterwork watering hole and stomping grounds for CUNY grad students for more than a decade, and has a special significance to any grad student or office worker in the neighborhood. The bartenders, especially Jackie, are amazingly friendly and warm people, and the drinks are priced and poured well. Its a great spot in the neighborhood to catch a football (soccer) match, or really any sport event. The bar is dark and moody and comforting when the crowd is thin. Owing to the location in midtown and the general lack of decent options in the area, Dillons can get uncomfortably crowded even on weekday evenings, so if you want a quiet drink, best to go earlier in the afternoon, unless Newcastle have a weekday match. Its the home base for Newcastle United FCs New York supporters club, so be mindful that there is the potential to find a barroom full of fans known for their rowdiness when supporting their club -youre on their turf here.That said, Dillons is a comfortable spot ideal for a draft beer or simple classic cocktail, and a perfect place to catch a game in a low-key setting or afterwork drinks. Dont expect anything but a classic midtown Irish bar, and order your drinks accordingly, and have a chat with the gems of the people that work the bar.

    Decent bar for midtown, equal distance to the train stations and good for greeting friends with a scattering of tables, wood appointments and wall covering give warm lighting on a winter day into night. Modest crowd and not trendy. Does the bar thing, I had a decent gimlet and not many bartender can pull it off, but here it is very respectful. We didnt try the food. Bottom line, drinks with friends and family.

    Never a dull moment here with the lads. A great spot to drop by after a long day or just getting the night off started. One of my favorite bars in the city to frequent even on a school night. Just make sure you’re not taking my seat up at the end of the bar!!

    Nice spot for a drink. Has a good variety of beers and drinks, very cool for hang out. The lighting is dark which gives the feeling of a cozy place. Oh! And they have happy hours from 4pm to 7pm. Enjoy.
