Only went for drinks but the people beside us had Buffalo Wings and they looked fantastic. The serving staff also double as Roosevelt Island information hosts.

Foods good. Service is usually on point as staff are friendly - making is extremely easy for me to spend my money here. Been coming to Bar & Grill for years now. If youre ever on Roosevelt Island I suggest stopping here for a bite at least once. Cheers!

Nice spot to eat and have some drinks in the island. The food is pretty good and the service is always impeccable. I have been living in Roosevelt island for many years now and Riverwalk is the place I usually go when I dont feel to leave the island.

Had my best Hamburger during my NYC and Washington DC visit at River Walk Bar & Grill. Later Ive been to 5 Napkin burgers with great expectations, but it wasnt quite as good as at River Walk. To bad I cant find the specific burger I had on the online menu. Otherwise I would definitely recommend that one if you like it a bit spicy.

I definitely would go back.The price for my cheeseburger and fries was very reasonable.When the food came to my table,it was a lot of food,and the cheeseburger was huge! It was definitely one of the best burgers Ive ever had.The patty tasted like it was good quality beef.I tipped my waitress twice the amount the meal cost.I gave her a twenty dollar tip.She was beautiful,and it made me feel good to make her happy!

Come here for coffee while working on the Island. The girls are very nice and dont bother you. Since there are no bathrooms where I work I just come here and like I mentioned they dont bother you about it which is very nice.

Sports bars are not my thing, but this roomy bar/restaurant has a nice local atmosphere to it, efficient service, great bartender, the burger i had the last time there was very yummy, definitely a spot to come by when on roosevelt island

Sports bar with uninspired American food that is decent enough and well enough priced, especially given the generous portion sizes. The burgers are ok and the fish tacos were surprisingly large and heavy on the fish. The seasoned waffle fries werent bad.Lots of TVs, great for the world cup.Only place on Roosevelt island for draft beer. Reasonable beer selection.

Riverwalk is a great spot to have a few beers and some pub food on Roosevelt Island (located just up the block from the tram). Lets face it theres not much to do on Roosevelt Island, but if the sun is out its not a bad way to spend a day. Take the tram over the East River from Manhattan, get some sun at Four Freedoms Park, and then grab a beer and some food at Riverwalk.

Wonderful place located conveniently off the F train stop and RIOC tram. The ambiance is relaxed and casual. The staff are friendly if a bit slow. They serve great food, the Texas Burger is fantastic, try their wings too. I could see why the competing diner north of this location closed down.

Food is completely generic American fare, but in the best way. Good for all hours: great breakfast options including homemade doughnuts, good burgers and entrees, pretty good drink menu. I have to say, though, in the many times Ive been there Ive found that they dont really season a lot of their dishes very well or at all - you can correct this yourself but it would be nice if it was right to begin with. Also, most food is originally frozen and not fresh, but thats the case with any place like this and its still exactly what you want. The River Walk Express offshoot is amazing, letting you get really great bagels and breakfast/deli food at all times. Prices in the main restaurant are honestly just okay considering the quality of food and drink, but the Express prices are so good - you can get a good breakfast for maybe $3.50.

I read the other reviews before going in and really wasnt sure what I was in for but I am happy with the decision. I got the shroom blue burger(sub salmon) and it was tasty when it came out the 2nd time. First time it wasnt cooked good. But the waitress brought me a new one and all is well with the world. :-) I will definitely come back when I visit the island again.

A nice little hidden oasis on Roosevelt Island, right off the subway or tram. My friends have been coming here for years on Sundays due to 50 cent wings during the football season. The servers are friendly, even when you do order close to a hundred chicken wings. The sauces are pretty good too and dont be afraid - even the Volcanic doesnt get too hot though it does have a nice peppery taste to it. If heat isnt your thing they offer bbq, teriyaki and a rotating third choice. The wings are a good size and they have a decent beer selection. If I was a football fan this place might be my favorite hideout, right now its in the top 5.

Ive lived in NYC for over a year, and must say that riverwalk is probably in my top 5 restaurants in the city. Being on RI, its often over looked, but is definitely worth the trip over. The texas burger is one of my favorite burgers in the city. Also, the philly chesesteak. Staff is very friendly, fun atmosphere. HIghly recommended

I loved having a beer with one of the best burgers I had in Manhattan, plus being on Roosevelt Island you are in a small oasis of peace in the middle of the jungle of NY, I recommend taking the cable car there... PS for the Spider-Man fans will be familiar with it!!
