    Such a fun , relaxing experience. The vibe and scenery is beautiful. It’s so perfect for a date. And the customer service is great. Had a blast and I’d recommend it to anyone, also pretty sure they’ll be seeing me often

    I took my mom here for a girls night out, we had a BLAST, laughed so much we cried! The atmosphere was marvellous, the chairs were comfy and the drinks were great! A+ service i would come here daily if i could! I highly recommend it and will be coming back as often as i can!

    Came here for the first time with my boyfriend and we loved it. It was an easy check in process and perfect popcorn portion. We watched the fall guy and it was a good movie too. The rooftop is located in a perfect spot where the sun is not hitting it and there’s also a draft so we had a nice breeze. The headphones’s volume was a bit too low but other than that, a great experience.

    A lovely experience, definitely an interesting and new way to enjoy a film along with some popcorn. We had a great time, but be sure to bring along some nice coat if it’s cold.

    All four sides are blocked off with buildings and you cant see the sky! Its a very very cute venue but I had gone on supermoon day so that I could watch a movie under the moon 🥲

    I had a very pleasant experience! It was almost perfect. I wouldn’t starve myself to expect to fill up on the snacks here, but overall canNOT complain. Everything from signing up online to coming in was done with such ease. I loved the aesthetic. And the outdoor part, lovely! Had a blanket, nice set up & very friendly staff! Namely our bartender, Luis! A great time 🫶🏾Parking was attached to the hotel itself so that was convenient! Pace Parking deck.

    Its a fun spot and they show great movies, but could use a few improvements.The good: I was pleasantly surprised at how visible the screen was during the day. It works because there are buildings on all sides (which also helps keep the wind minimal), so no stellar city views, but ideal for actually watching the movie. The headphones are clutch - it makes getting up for snacks easier because you can keep the audio going. Its great that they have cocktails and beer.The bad: there is a single bathroom for the space and it isnt well maintained. The water pressure is weak, the soap dispenser was broken, and overall it kinda broke the vibe. Somehow they got backed up on food orders prior to the showing I went to and stopped taking food orders for a while, basically forcing viewers to come during the movie rather than getting orders in ahead of time. Unclear what happened or if thats a common thing but it was frustrating because I came hungry and early to get food and was seeing a movie Id never seen so didnt want to miss any of it. I also do not recommend the soft pretzel, it was mediocre at best.It does get chilly (at least in October) so Id recommend bringing a blanket. I feel like they could easily rent or provide blankets and that would also amp up the experience. I also plan to get the premium seats next time as they definitely have a better, central view of the screen

    This is such a unique and cute date night idea for native New Yorkers . Hidden away in plain sight in midtown Manhattan with Instagram-able signage this Rooftop Cinema is truly a gem and going to become one of my summer staples. It’s so quaint and cute and a great value . I highly recommend it !

    What an amazing cute and romantic experience. For a girls night out or a date night or just a night out yourself. Must go. And everything was just so great. Drinks. Popcorn. Snacks. The employees were all very polite. Everything is so organized and clean. And it’s very instragramable 👏👏😊 I will be back every possible day for sure.

    Overall a fun experience! The rooftop is really nice looking and kept clean. Theres a good breeze, which is great for a summer night. The screen is decent - its a large LED screen like what youd see in a stadium, as opposed to a projector. So while the picture quality isnt quite as crisp, the screen is still bright before sunset. The chairs arent anything special, but surprisingly comfortable for what they are. My only real complaint is the headphones - they are uncomfortable and the sound quality is rather poor, including some occasional static/crackling noises from poor connection. By the end of the movie my ears were pretty sore.

    I had a great time at the rooftop cinema. It was an easy process to check in and find a seat. The staff were polite and welcoming. The only con about my visit was one of the hotel staff in lobby. When he walked us to the elevator, he put his hand in front of us to stop us from getting into to the elevator, allowing others to go first. I felt embarrassed and awkward. Other than that, the visit was great.

    It is a very nice and different experience. If I was a New Yorker, I would do this once a month but even as a tourist, I feel like it was worth my time. Location is central and easy to find, screen is big enough, food and beverages are just fine and the seats are comfortable. Only improvement areas are sound quality (Bluetooth connection of the headphones became shaky form time to time) and lack of a place to put down your beverage.

    It was great! Popcorn was tasty and they had a wide variety of drinks. The only thing I didnt like was that an hour into the show the sun comes through and it gets very hot sitting in your chair.

    Loved it! Only tiny issue was that the sound would occasionally fail for about 3 seconds every so often. My partners headphones also failed occasionally but changing them was quick and easy.Will 100% go back!

    Loved the vibe ! Seats were really comfy (opted for the premium seats) and experience was lovely. Will definitely come again. It started drizzling rain for about ten minutes or so, so check the weather before you book your dates. Headphones hurt my head a little after a while, but still enjoyed the film and time so much (:

    The elevator was broken and no one seeemed to know… so we stood downstairs for a while waiting for it to show up…not great…. but once we found the stairs..all was much better! Check in was super easy and the chairs were big and comfy! Sound was excellent through the headphones and would definitely attend again!

    Went with a friend to celebrate her birthday. It was a good movie, and as NY will have it, super diverse audience. The location is pretty central, happy to have had lite bite and drink options. Definitely a super cute date night situation. Would come back with a date lol.

    My girlfriend surprised me on a date here to see The Great Gatsby. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The headphones never got uncomfortable despite the movie runtime being nearly 2.5 hours. The popcorn was good, which to be honest I didn’t expect. Getting up through was a bit confusing, mostly because the designated elevator went out. Checking in/box office was super painless. I will say though, there was only 1 restroom (at least to our knowledge). That caused a bit of a backup so keep that in mind. There are 2 types of chairs. We didn’t pay for the more expensive ones and it was perfectly fine. It would’ve been nice to have 2 cushions, but I was never uncomfortable. I would recommend this experience to others! Even if you don’t love the movie being shown, the experience itself is super unique and fun.

    I would definitely come back and actually make this a summer event Despite the horrible stinks smell that was in front of the hotel smells the smell. In addition the mimosas should be larger the cup was so tiny and I hope that they approve it next year because I would love to take myself out on a date here next year.

    What an experience. Perfect for summer/fall date nights!- Premium chairs are worth the price (comfy & prime spot)- Food is meh but the drinks are good!- Check in opens an hour prior. come early for good seats as they are first come first serve.- Bring blankets as it gets chilly!

    I had such a amazing experience. It was a solo date and i had a great night. The ambiance they created was super cute, comfy, colorful, themed and fun. Venue was spacious, clean and cozy. Popcorn was fresh and the bar drink menu was refreshing. I noticed couples, groups of friends and solos all in attendance. Had both stairs and ramp access while on the roofDefinitely something to do for any and everyone. I loved that we all had headphones so we werent competing with the sounds of NYC or contributing to it.

    Pros: Wonderful experience. Didnt try the food except popcorn so cant say much, but the popcorn was good. The seats were comfy, found them fairly quickly. Movie quality was great. I also love that you can adjust to volume on the headphones using the button on it.Cons: I know this is already advised on the website to bring your own blanket/dress warm. I think the experience would be even better if they add heaters in the winter time in extreme cold, because I live far away and its not feasible to drag a heavy blanket on the train or have excessive layers just to watch a movie outdoors. Im sure this applies to people coming from far as well.

    The set up is really nice with comfortable chairs, a clear screen, and a comfortable space. It’s a nice summer activity with other people who like the movie. I came for the June 14 showing of Pride & Prejudice and the staff was so nice and the manager was a great host. It started raining at the last 30 minutes of the movie and the manager gave everyone ponchos. It was sweet and I would be happy to come back :)

    So we purchased the larger seats but it kind of seemed like anyone could just sit anywhere they choose. It would be better if they had someone that could place you in the area of your seating. I want to get what I paid for. The place was beautiful. The screen was clear and the night was picture perfect. The unlimited popcorn as advertised online was apparently incorrect so dont rely on that. The drinks were pretty good and not a bad price for being in the city. The sound quality of the headphones was amazing. Hopefully these suggestions help anyone looking to go.

    I had such a great time and it’s awesome for a date night. The staff was super friendly and informative . The check-in process was super easy being that tickets are bought online. I purchased the lounge chair and popcorn which was awesome and I got there early to pick my seat as seat placement is on first come, first service basis. It was a beautiful night outside and so it made it so much more fun to enjoy the overall experience!

    It was a new and fun experience. I really enjoyed it. I definitely glad I splurged on the premium seats because they looked and were very comfortable... the staff was super nice and helpful.     Such a great setup. We found this on Google maps and booked in on a whim. We saw Pretty Woman.Audio is through headsets, so no distractions. Seating is very comfy (we went premium) and well placed.The drinks and food are a little chaotic, but really good overall.

    I knew this experience was going to be one not to be forgotten and it was. My boyfriend was so surprised! I earned major points for this one. Everything was so good. Nice staff, easy to find everything. Leaving is a bit of a hassle with only one elevator, but overall, everything is as great and I’d definitely go back.

    I’ve been wanting to go here for so long and I finally got to experience it. It was really nice and I will definitely be going back for sure! It’s a really nice get away feeling and having headphones to watch a movie just feels more like you are so focused because that’s the only thing you hear. I recommend this place for sure for a cute movie date night😊 And it’s on the 3rd floor of this hotel not the one next door because it was confusing getting there 😅 Hope this is helpful!

    Friendly staff, ticket includes glass of wine. Good concessions available including cocktails. Comfy seating and personal headphones so no dialogue is missed. Its on the 3rd floor. Id recommend using the stairs across from the elevators as elevator access going up requires a room key.

    I never even knew this existed until my BFF came to visit from out of town. Its such a cute and lovely idea. The staff was so nice and the bartender was amazing!!!Came to see the Nightmare before Christmas. The lounge chairs were comfy, and they gave you a good amount of popcorn. You could buy other candy and snacks or get a nice and tasty alcoholic beverage or regular soda of choice. It was great for a date or a friend night and would work to come w older kids.I see a variety of movies on the list, from classics to even Deadpool & Wolverine. Since the nights are getting cool, bring a blanket or wear a nice warm jacket. Do not be like me and come with a sweater that was breezy as heck. They do also sell blankets if you need. Well worth it! Love that it wasnt crowded either. Seats were spaced to give enough room and not overwhelm.

    Such a great concept. Fig and goat cheese flat bread was delicious and the cocktails were well made. The chairs are very comfy. Most of all the servers are awesome! Bar tender shook our hand upon arrival and Destiny our server could not have been sweeter or more attentive. Highly recommend this experience.

    Went to the Rooftop cinema on West 37th Street August 19th and I really enjoyed the movie and the whole experience. if you dont mind sitting outside in the heat, otherwise book a nighttime movie youll be alot cooler. I highly recommend it.

    My girlfriend and I went to see a classic movie, Dirty Dancing, and it was awesome. I was worried that the HOT sun would be an issue on the Rooftop, but the buildings surrounding protected us.Go to the Rooftop Cinema Club Midtown website and look for a movie that you would like to see (again) in a unique setting and go for it! Everything was professionally done and it was a good experience all around.

    I really enjoyed myself! Staff was friendly and the movie was cool 😎. If any complaints I would say I wish the drinks weren’t watered down so much. But other then that go to relax and catch a movie with some friends or a great date night. Don’t forget to bring a light jacket or blanket because it does get chilly.

    The seats were comfy, and there was a good view of the screen.The popcorn was as salty as the sea though.The headphones are rather uncomfortable. Mine also had an occasionally crackly audio feed... akin to a dripping tap, not enough to make me change them, but every 15 minutes or so would get some dodgy feedback. It could be because it was pretty rainy, and I was rather wet. I couldnt use my umbrella because of those behind me... but the weather isnt the fault of the cinema.A good pouring of wine for $12 a glass too.

    The only thing I didn´t like is that you cannot make a reservation on a single seat (seat number), you are instructed to come 1 hour early to take your preferred seat, too long to wait. Otherwise, it was a splendid experience, great summer movie selection, very nice place and staff, nicely planned start of the afternoon movie, right after the sun hides beside one of the buildings.
