    Had a lovely night at Sefton this past Saturday. Service was great, drinks were priced extremely well. They had some of the best olives in dirty martinis that I’ve had in a while! I liked that you can be seated and served or order at the bar.

    Perfect ambiance, great drink selection and pricing! Worth checking out. The food is pretty good too but would love if they upped their game on the sauces and fixed some of the typos in their menu. That said, it hits the spot, gives a nice romantic vibe, and is a great solution to your happy hour cravings.

    This place rules!! Always a vibe! Get the harvest bowl if you’re eating and if you’re drinking the espresso martini is top notch! Also the bartenders are Irish so you can swoon with that accent

    Just left MSK and wanted to celebrate Lunch with my amazing Woman. We are not from here so found it and decided off the cuff to see what its about. Happy hour drinks are good, large pours and definitely HH pricing. We werent too hungry so we shared the flatbread that was great too. She never has more than a slice or 2 and she had 3. For those whose reviews say the staff was not friendly or personable I say Collin is the opposite. Remembered my difficult first name after a minute convo. If we are in the area again, we will be stopping here again!We had more time for additional drinks. Asked for a traditional drink and as good as the other drinks were this drink was amazing! Kudos!

    Fits the area being extremely expensive and absurdly loud / crowded on a Saturday night but they serve genuinely fantastic food and sweet cocktails

    Ok here goes...I am an Upper East Sider and I love this place. Dina is amazing. Not only is she an awesome bartender, but she is someone who time and time again has shown herself to be an ally, I love you mucho sis. Dara and Eugene are awesome as well and this UES bar, which I love, is made so much better because of all of you. Thank you!..seriously thank you!

    Great music, food and service and always a fun atmosphere. Good for singles, small groups and couples so there’s a variety of options but it’s a happening place and great local spot on the UES.

    Been here twice and I just love their happy hour. They make a really good cocktail. Service is nice and quick. Love the Prosciutto flatbread as well. Highly recommend!

    Wonderful drink and eat spot with strong cocktails and a knockout prosciutto that is in a class of its own. More of a college/grad school feeling to it being so close to Cornell. $8 a drink. 4.5/5 stars as a night bar.

    Such a cute bar and all the bartenders and the owner Joe could not have been nicer. We had a large group and were very well taken care of. Such a great vibe, and AMAZING spicy margaritas!!!

    I walked into the bar and was immediately greeted by the friendliest bartender, I ever meet I think she said her name was Dina. She was a breath of fresh air after having a long morning. Her service spectacular. I will definitely return with a few of my friends.

    Excellent food, drinks, and service. On two separate occasions, I had great experiences at the Sefton. They had particularly great drinks on a rather unique menu. The food was also delicious and everything was fast.

    The Sefton is an excellent addition to the Upper East Side. An upgrade from the Banshee pub that used to be here! Great neighborhood spot with an awesome vibe, music and drinks!

    Good music, cocktails, and food, the staff is very friendly. Both gin drinks I tasted were delicious, also the spinach dip. Its necessary to show the vaccine record and ID at the entrance.

    Lovely spot, very vibey.Bartender was prompt and friendly. He made me a classic paper plane which was decent. Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the amaro used.Only small critique is, the setup is classy and elegant but maybe having a napkin for your drinks would be a nice touch.

    Amazing staff and prime location. The service is nothing short of exceptional with bartenders and waitstaff who genuinely care about each and every customer’s experience. The Sefton team always delivers by going above and beyond anyone’s typical expectation for an nyc bar. Food and drink were A++. Music was on point too. Joe is truly one of a kind with a great sense of humor. I had the opportunity to meet him and he could not have been more gracious and welcoming. He is very patient and open to any feedback from his customers. A friend and I played a late April Fools joke on him amidst our intoxication and he could not have handled it in a more professional manner. As a regular at several city bars, I tip my hat to the owners of this incredible establishment. Can’t wait to return one day!

    Perfect as a late night dive bar, Irish as can be. Frankly, Im surprised I remember some of my visits here given I have yet to visit before 2am. Expert hand with the Guinness - I cant say Ive imbibed anything else here (even at its previous incarnation as the Banshee), and a fair price to boot. Usually a few seats near the bar. Its going to be loud regardless of where you hang out though. Attracts everyone from common drunks like me to a younger, far hipper crowd not wanting to end their nights just yet.

    Amazing staff and an amazing atmosphere. One of my favorite bars in the UES. It manages a calm atmosphere for conversational drinking with friends in the afternoons while ramping up the energy later in the evening for a classic vibrant bar scene.

    Good vibe and surprisingly really good bar food for a bar! Maybe the best spinach artichoke dip I’ve had, good burger, and really liked their take on a Caesar (it was like Caesar meets Cobb). They also had a really inventive cocktail menu (mezcal old fashioned? Cool!)

    I love this local bar and will be back! Friendly staff, clean, great atmosphere. My friend and I sat along the window and thoroughly enjoyed the people watching along 1st Ave. We brunched Bloody Marys, Eggs Benedict(perfectly poached eggs) and Roasted potatoes (hot and tasty).There is a $25 add on option for all you can drink with brunch, lol, not for me but go for it!The HH here is also nice, nice along the bar or at the high tables in the front. HH goes until 7pm so enjoy!
