Our food was served in no time.Our Salmon with avocado salad was delicious. The lobster ravioli was also good. The bruschetta was a bit pricey.     Had lunch there during a very cold and rainy week day. The restaurant was almost empty, but quite refined and classy, especially the bar. Service was a touch long but the hot pizza was very welcome. One typical New York restaurant. I liked it.

    From the Fridays brunch menu. Everything was very good, the eggs perfect and the burger seasoned and cooked exactly rare as requested. One small issue was that I asked for extra gorgonzola but got none. Still an excellent burger. Nice place and will return

    Good food, Good atmosphere. Good bartender. The bussing was a bit strange and annoying. Two times some guy came out of nowhere and took away our plates when they still had food on them. No asking if we were done or anything. Just, boom, gone!...Before we could say anything. The waiter made up for it by bringing us more of what was taken.We waited a long time for our table with a reservation.

    The best Italian restaurant in town. The chicken milanese and its salad sauce was very delicious. We had margaritha pizza and spaghetti. The food was fresh and the ambiance was good. My daughter liked the renovated restroom too. Good for a drink or with children.

    Ricardo was our waiter and he was phenomenal! Appreciate his top-notch service, attentiveness, energy and overall professionalism as it made our evening!It was my 1st time at Serafina - we went as a group of 8 people on a Saturday evening - and I really enjoyed it. We split meals family style, including a couple of pizzas (the Margherita and a spicy habanero option that was featured on the menu), pastas, salads, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was fun / lively and music was playing at a nice level (not too loud or quiet). Only callout was the bathroom was a bit tricky to find as had to go indoors then downstairs to connecting lounge / hotel bathroom, but the interior design and overall atmosphere even on that walk was pleasant so no real complaints here. Thanks Ricardo and Serafina for a great evening.

    This serafina is a beautiful and much more spacious location than the other ones. We went on a cold winter day and although we didnt get a table inside, the outdoor patio was nicely closed off and properly heated so we were very comfortable. The pizza was delicious and so was the pasta. Over all a good experience!..

    Last week, I had an amazing experience at Serafina on 38th—the food was outstanding, the ambiance was perfect, and the service was top-notch. The entire staff made sure everything was just right, and the evening was truly enjoyable.     We hosted a kids birthday here and the team are amazing. No detail was overlooked and they expertly took care of both the kids and parents. Serving delicious food, keeping us on track time wise (by request so we could make the activity), which they did. Every detail from the menu; food; service; cake plating; timing and more was superb.     All the food was delicious!! And the dishes were huge! Consider that before ordering. Some details that I didnt like:- The restroom smelled pee, and it was dirty. I probably had bad luck, but still, I think the restaurant can improve this point, considering the price and having only one restroom!- Be careful with the tips, in the menu they say that they recommend the 20% tip for parties of 6 or more. We were 3, and at the end, they charged us a 20% tip, and then, over that price, they asked us to put a tip of 3%, 5%, or 7%. You can think,… Oh, its not much, but its over the first 20%, so if you select one of those options, you will pay close to 38% of the tip.I would give the place a second opportunity. I really liked the food! The service was great, super kind, great atmosphere.

    We had a date night and wanted to sit outside (within the green house if you will). It could be noisy and cold but they have a sliding door that you can open and close. Since the buses were rather loud, we closed the door. It’s so nice and quiet. We’re sitting at the far north end having the area to ourselves. Our waiter Ricardo was very friendly and attentive. The water filler and the one who brought our food were also friendly. Service was quick and professional. We ordered bruschetta and calamari for starter. It’s an Italian American resto, so adjust your expectations. The portion for the bruschetta was a bit small for the price, the that of the calamari was very generous. So we’re good there. For the main course we had one of the pasta with asterisk and chicken parmigiana (came with penne), with a side of spinach. All were good, especially the spinach. The garlic was so yum. The portion was good and we were full. So no room for dessert. Would definitely recommend this place.

    The ravioli is exquisite. The deserts … you can’t choose one, but if you do.. the tiramisu is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Last but not least, the service and attention to detail is incomparable. This is my new go to place when I’m in town. Absolutely the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time.

    Lovely meal. Simple food. Portions felt respective to the pricing. Only thing of bother really was the service. I think I got checked on every maybe 5 minutes I was there. Several different people. I just wanted to sit and enjoy a lunch to myself. Do I need water. Do I need this, do I need that. And then language barriers came into play as well and it really was rather bothersome towards the end I think they got the message. But wasnt the best vibes.

    I absolutely adored this place. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and charming. Pedro, in particular, was exceptional, turning what was meant to be a quick stop into a truly memorable experience. His attentiveness and expertise made all the difference.I cant recommend their Sauvignon Blanc highly enough; its a must-try for any wine enthusiast. The flavors were exquisite, leaving a lasting impression. I will undoubtedly return to indulge in it again.Moreover, the coffee was phenomenal! Rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed, it was the ideal complement to the overall delightful experience. This place has certainly earned a special spot in my heart, and I look forward to many more visits.

    I really enjoyed this particular Serafina Restaurant. Not all Serafinas are the same! This place had an electric atmosphere, with friendly and accommodating service. The food is top notch. I had the Chicken Milanese which was enormous, moist, and delicious. The fresh arugula and tomatoes gave the meal a nice, overall zest. Prices were reasonable for Manhattan. Highly recommend.

    Had an amazing post birthday dinner with a friend that came in from out of town. First time at this location definitely will not be the last. We started with the tuna tartare and the carpaccio and completely blown away. Absolutely delicious. The Farfalle al limoncello caught both of our attention and just had to have it. It was very good but I will say the appetizers were the Rockstars of the meal. We then ended our meal with dessert I went for the Torta Santa Rosalia and my Bestie went for the Creme Brûlée both were delicious. Thank you for a amazing meal!

    Serafina is conveniently located on Madison corner 38th Ave and is connected to NH Collections.Featured antipasti are the prosciutto & burrata and tagliere di salumi. Pastas are the farfalle al limoncello and spaghetti al limone. Both are tasty and portions were generous.However, service was slow as the place was packed. It took 30 mins to process our table’s bill.

    We visited New York and came here for a meal , we shared a meatballs starter, which was delightful , for my main I had the carbonara, which was delicious , my partner had the truffle pasta which she thoroughly enjoyed.The service was excellent and friendly.As we were a walk-in, we sat in the outside area, we were in a particularly noisey spot, which would be my only complaint.

    I have eaten at Serafina on Madison maybe 10 times. There are lots of great items to chose from. The pizzas are great, the pasta is pretty good, but was a little cold a few times. The service is good but a little hit or miss. Here is a good example.My wife and I went in on a Friday night. It was not busy. We wanted to enjoy a glass of wine (or two). We ordered a salad to share and then a pizza. The wine came out pretty quickly and then the salad after that. But then the pizza came out almost too fast. We felt rushed. The restaurant was not too busy. The server did not come back to see if we wanted a second glass of wine. So we finished up ant left. A lost opportunity to upsell me and I wanted to be upsold on a second glass of wine.Part of the problem is that the delivery of food is a team effort but the team does not do anything more than drop the food off.

    We arrived on time for our reservation and were quickly seated. The waiter was very polite, checked in on us, and replaced our utensils after every course. The food was very good and so was the dessert. They dimmed the lights around halfway through our dinner which created a nice atmosphere and the restaurant wasn’t overly loud. Would definitely come back again. The only complaint is that our food was taken before we were done. I’d gone to the restroom and when I got back, my plate was gone.

    Stopped in here with my mother on a whim after doing some shopping. I had always seen various Serafina locations but have never eaten there before.     I was staying at the NH Hotel on a recent business trip to NYC. Serafina is in the same building as the hotel and connected through the lobby. Went her for dinner with colleagues one night mostly because of its proximity. We were all surprised how good it was. Id go back for sure.

    I had the best dining experience at Serafina - Madison Avenue. The ambience was very beautiful, the food and Malbec was delicious and the staff was exceptional - Jamie the General Manager, Eva, Ertis and Emily. They were very warm and friendly and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    My dear friend, Kerry and I have always liked Serafina on the UES. Its a great stop after a day in Central Park but we have never been fans of their other locations until now...Our planned dinner with husbands and another girlfriend at this location became a celebration!!It was a fantastic dinner! The pizza, meatballs, fish, spaghetti squash pasta, goat cheese salad with shrimp, tiramisu, fruit tart and creme brulee were all devoured by those who ordered them.The delectable food and attentive service made us the happiest and loudest table of all. A most entertaining but professionally superb GM gave us a walk thru of their basement party space which looks promising.We had watched patiently for this location to be converted from a fuddy-duddy deli to a fine restaurant for over a year and it was worth the wait!

    My boyfriend and I stayed at the NH hotel Madison Avenue and we had the pleasure of having breakfast every morning at the Serafina facility which has an agreement with the hotel. The hotel breakfast staff were impeccable! Every morning we were greeted with kindness and professionalism, and the service was always prompt and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide choice for all tastes, from savory to sweet, all of high quality, not to mention the à la carte menu!Special thanks go to the restaurant manager, Alfredo, a very nice and approachable Italian with whom we had the pleasure of making friends. His hospitality and warmth made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely return in the future, thanks to him and his exceptional team. A truly unforgettable experience!

    Excellent Italian restaurant in New York, ambience a little noisy but it is a fairly common problem in Manhattan restaurants. Risotto with porcini mushrooms and profiteroles like in Italy.
