    The bartender, despite being incredibly busy, acknowledged me promptly. The drink was fantastic, and the cherries were absolutely exceptional! Whenever I need a quick pick-me-up before diving back into the grind of everyday life, this spot will definitely be at the top of my list!

    Lots of locals and completely packed inside on a Sunday.Normal NYC prices at $7-8 a beer. Plenty of open outdoor seating but it was fairly cold in early March.I only had one drink and never got to settle in/sit down considering the amount of people.Def worth a visit to experience a neighborhood bar.

    A staple of NYC. Good beer selection. Its nice to sit outside when its a good day, or hunker down inside with a beer during a snow storm and watch out the window.The one downside is theres one bathroom and its kind of gross, but hey its a dive bar. If youre out bar hopping and going to head to spring use the facilities before you leave the current location and then the place after.

    I loved this shark themed bar. The service is good. The space is a good size. Sarah and Eric were very nice bartenders. The prices are very reasonable. There were quite a few people already there and it wasnt even 2pm yet. They open at 8am. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. I would definitely come back.

    This classic New York City dive bar is known for its excellent beer selection. Its perfect for sitting outside on a nice day or staying warm inside with a cold beer while watching a snowstorm through the window. The only downside is that it has just one rather grimy bathroom, but that’s all part of the dive bar experience. If you’re bar hopping and plan to stop by Spring Street, it’s wise to use the restroom at your current and next stop before getting here.

    This is a really great dive bar, good pours and good conversation. The staff and patrons are all very friendly people, we had a really good time. This is a super fun place to have a cool beverage and spend a little time. It reminds me a lot of the dive bars in New Orleans. The bar tender even bought me a drink!

    We dropped by this local corner bar for just some drinks after the dinner. The place was quite full, yet we got our drinks fast from the bartender. The music was a little bit too loud for easy talking but I guess it is the way of the bars. It was loaded with happy people discussing and enjoying their time around. I could drop by another time too.

    Had our post wedding drinks in there 2006. As we walked in barman said that David Bowie had just left !!!!!!!Its our favourite bar in NYC and we visit most years. Back there 30 th November, just over 3 weeks time. YAY !!!!!!!!!

    Excellent discussion and decent pours may be found at this dingy pub. We had a great experience, and both the employees and the customers are really pleasant. Spending some time here and enjoying a refreshing drink is a lot of pleasure. Its reminiscent of New Orleans dive bars. Even my drink was purchased by the bartender!

    A fantastic little bar right on the corner of Spring & Mulberry in Little Italy, it’s ideal for people watching as you enjoy a few drinks. It’s easy going and the crowd is generally friendly. You have excellent pizza and other food establishments just across the street. We actually had a pizza delivered to our table from across the street

    This is an excellent dive bar with great drinks and even better conversation. The staff and regulars are all welcoming and friendly, making for a really enjoyable experience. It’s a fun spot to kick back, have a cold drink, and unwind. It brings to mind the dive bars in New Orleans. The bartender even treated me to a drink!

    Loved the atmosphere at this place. Stayed here for a solid night of drinking. Would be good for this place to have a beer on the menu at 5$ or less, couldn’t find it. Staff is absolutely super friendly and very helpful.

    It’s impossible to have a bad time here. A dive bar on a corner street with big windows and simple drinks makes the soul happy with a fun staff to boot. Nothing hits me better than watching a sports game on a small 20 in tv drink a domestic beer in a crowded dive bar. That’s the energy served daily here and it is perfection

    Get a drink and sit outside. This is the best place to enjoy a drink and catch up with a friend and do people watching. It’s literally the corner of the world. Tourists, NewYorkers and everyone else.They don’t serve food, but you have pizza, cava, falafel etc literally touch the corner. Bring your own food, they don’t care.

    OMG Dave and Natalie each need their own show. I was stuck in the area getting my scooter repaired after doing my covid test for set. And I could not imagine being stuck anyplace else. Dave and his timing is #Comedic perfect with a little pinch of David Cross sarcasm. #Natalie reminds me of a white #JackieHarris no minced words and her facial expressions says it all. 1) Now the place does not serve food, but who needs food when you have professional entertainment behind the bar. The bar itself is not really sports bar due to the lack of TVs but check note 1). I hate waiting and had a 3 hour wait but this is one of the few bars Id go back to. I really hope Dave and Natalie have their dreams come true because you cant teach personality and they are #Stars ⭐ . Not gonna lie I feel like you have to be union to enter, because everyone was funny and it a competition to be the funniest. Just like on #Set . Most fun I had all year 💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️♨️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

    Classic dive bar with loads of drinks and both indoor & outdoor seating.We had one of the outdoor tables under cover and sat drinking as the rain fell above. The outdoor tables look back at the bar and all the various neons and shark artwork.Great spot, check it out.

    I really enjoyed Spring Lounge. Seemed like a fun spot as I was walking up to it. Everybody was outside as it is the covid craze but everybody was laughing and having fun. I had been walking for miles and asked if I bought a beer if I could use the bathroom. I was told a beer not required, just use it!!!! I think its the only place in Manhattan!! I wanted a beer anyway, but was told again I wasnt obligated. Love this place!!Had an Alewife Altered State DIPA and a Sabrettes hot dog for $10 with tip. Lots to look at and refreshing cold beer!!

    Sweet bar with a neighborhood vibe. Been coming here since 2002. Solid selection of craft and mainstream beer and spirits. They keep it interesting with kegs and eggs and other low key events. Definitely worth sitting here over drinks and people watching.

    One of my favorite bars to drink in during the day in the city. Has a chill vibe with a good beer selection and good host of random regulars/people walking around the neighborhood. At night on weekends though, it is packed with bros and the vibe is completely different. Get a tecate fully dressed.

    My preferred spot when its 3am and the crowd is itching for one last pint. Its normally very busy during prime drinking hours but at that time youll have a bit of space to you. Ive also been known to start an evening there to get a table before it gets rammed. Normally a good balance between fun and edgy people, not many idiots. Maybe the dive bar appearance keeps people away.Beware that the toilet has no lock (at least the mens) so Ive had a couple nervous c**** on the toilets...

    Dark but cozy was my first impression of the Spring Lounge. Coming in from a cold night outside, it was already packed with people but we still managed to find a spot among the Moose heads and stuffed sharks that lined the place. The bar has a lot of character and the bartenders (and patrons) fit right in with entertaining stories and a lively atmosphere. I thought the beer selection was great with everything from PBR to Hefeweizens to Empire Cream Ale which I hadnt had for a while, and the prices were very reasonable. With a good crowd and good beer at a good price you really cant go wrong here!

    Spring Lounge is one of my favorite bro bars in the city. Unlike Brother Jimmys or other chains, this independently owned lounge is a great watering hole for bankers, consultants, and everyone in between. I work in real estate and have seen quiet a few coworkers there, but have also seen a lot of students there as well. Drinks are cheap and refreshing. Try to get a seat in the back if youre there in the summer. That is where the air conditioning is coldest!

    One of my all time favorite dive bars in the city. Cheap beers and set in a good location close to lots of other shops, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend if youre looking for a laid back bar.

    Love me a good dive like bar - this is still pretty new york. I wouldn’t say they have good music but they do have decent prices, the bartenders are usually very nice, and a great space. You can have a chiller vibe in the day before 6 or after 7/8 get a nice crowd of mixed ages. I wouldnt say its a date spot but it is a casual spot. A great place to start or end a night.We had two beers and a couple of shots. Very reasonable.

    There is no food here to my knowledge. It is a classic almost dive type bar where you really just order beer and maybe you could try the wine but wouldn’t recommend it. It’s always busy in the crowd is always fun always somebody to talk to you and meet.depending on the night it might be really packed. Otherwise it always has a good crowd though so even if it’s quiet, it’s a good crowd somewhere you should check out in the area.

    This place a a cute hole in the wall. They have good music. I came on the night of my birthday and got a shot on the house of Smokey tequila. We ended up getting a few rounds and staying a bit. I will be back the next time I’m in New York. Kudos to the bartender for kicking off my nights

    I recently visited Spring Lounge with a group of colleagues , and I have to say, the vibes were absolutely amazing. The bartenders were awesome, and the atmosphere was perfect for just chilling out and having a drink. We loved everything about the place, from the cozy seating to the fantastic drink selection. The fact that the place accommodated all 17 of us was an added bonus, and made for an even more enjoyable experience. I can definitely say that Ill be visiting Spring Lounge again in the future.     A nice dive bar in a way too trendy area. It lifts up the block where every other joint is a concept store. Cool bartenders, fake sharks, a great mixture of people. Personally, I never found the lounge.

    I love the vibe here. Very friendly neighborhood bar!But, something just happened here which was surprising for me.I asked zero proof beer and the bartender said they don’t carry anything zeroI asked why;The bartender tapped my arm, looked down me and said “because they are for babies, that’s why!!!”Awful!! Esp. for sober community.But still I like this place. I hope they carry some NA beers soon.
