The venue is spacious, plenty of seating options and one of the few comedy clubs in upper west sides. Friendly staff and excellent service. The line up were amazing which concluded with Erik Scott who was super talented and pro.Had a good laugh, will definitely come back to this spot.

  • Review 2 (2021-06-29 - Rating: 5)

We went to an open mic night and I have never been to a show where each comic was great. I dont know if this place previews their acts in advance but it was all worth it. They even had a guest appearance from a well know comedian. In addition, we brought a couple of 18-year-olds and they loved it too. Although you have to pay the cover charge in drinks ( that were not very good) still worth the $ spent.

  • Review 3 (2022-04-11 - Rating: 5)

A smaller, more intimate venue allows for a closer connection to the comedians presenting. Excellent comedians, helpful staff, and great drinks makes this one of the best experiences in my NYC trip!

  • Review 4 (2024-03-28 - Rating: 5)

New Stand Up location is off the charts! Great space and energy for new Times Square location. For a fun night out - see a Broadway show and catch a comedy show - you won’t be disappointed!

  • Review 5 (2024-11-17 - Rating: 5)

    Good vibes.

  • Review 6 (2024-07-21 - Rating: 5)

Overall experience at Bond 45 was outstanding from start to finish. Excellent service and food. Braised short ribs over polenta and limincello did not disappoint.

  • Review 7 (2023-04-09 - Rating: 5)

Had an AMAZING night on Friday. Got to see 8 stellar comedians in one show, with a celebrity appearance (Ronnie from Daily Show). While it would have been nice to get a drink a bit earlier while sitting and waiting, the servers were super nice and friendly and efficient considering only 2 of them and crowded venue. The night’s flow was good, comedy excellent, vibe/ambiance perfect. Laughed a ton, so that’s what counts.

  • Review 8 (2022-03-28 - Rating: 4)

I went here for my first ever comedy show, and I would definitely go again! The price ($25 ticket and a $18 drink minimum) was fair and we saw a number of professional comics. All of them made me laugh, but some were definitely more my speed than others. We didnt try any of the cocktails, but the staff was speedy and accommodating.

  • Review 9 (2023-03-03 - Rating: 5)

We saw Ben Palmer here (palmertrolls on TikTok) and he was so hilarious. The space itself is intimate and I don’t imagine any of the seating is bad given the size of the interior. The staff was super nice & courteous. You do need to spend a minimum of $18 on drinks which is pretty standard for a comedy club and they automatically put a tip on the tab when closing out. I’d def return for another comedian in the future

  • Review 10 (2023-01-29 - Rating: 4)

The place was packed like sardines, but the line up was decent. The place no longer serves any kind of food. Youre welcome to bring your own but obviously not to stink up the whole place. Drink minimum order is $18 per person.

  • Review 11 (2023-01-12 - Rating: 4)

It was packed when I went, but it was also well ventilated. The show was great, and the hosts did their best considering being short staffed. The bathrooms were clean. There are 4 bathrooms in the basement and a handicap accessible one on the main floor.

  • Review 12 (2022-11-23 - Rating: 5)

The comedians were all hilarious. I truly enjoyed myself.

  • Review 13 (2022-07-28 - Rating: 5)

Stand Up NY is a great comedy club. They always have good lineups and I am rarely disappointed in any of the comedians. If you want to sit up front, show up an hour before the show. If you dont want to sit up front, dont show up early.Occasionally they have secret special guests. They are always big names trying out new material before going on the road and are always worth checking out.

  • Review 14 (2024-07-11 - Rating: 5)

This week, stand-up New York hosted my book launch for my debut memoir, and it was the most spectacular event I’ve ever been to. My guest included friends, family, and lots of people in the publishing industry, and everyone agreed that it was a next level party. The bar service and offerings were excellent, the venue was spacious and elegant and did not have a cramped comedy club style feel, the staff were helpful And the ample seating was such that everyone had a good seat of the show. I will definitely be going back to catch comedy acts but I really want to plan another party there too!

  • Review 15 (2022-10-23 - Rating: 5)

NY comedy clubs are often populated by cynical rough staff, but Stand Up NY was incredibly welcoming and the staff was friendly. The show was great and went long, so we felt like we had some bonus time.

  • Review 16 (2022-07-14 - Rating: 5)

I had the chance to go to Stand Up NY as part of my companys team outing, and wow this place did not disappoint. Amazing location, amazing drink selection, amazing staff! I highly recommend Stand Up NY to anyone that loves comedy.

  • Review 17 (2019-12-01 - Rating: 5)

Had a great time!! The comedians delivered their best dog jokes!! LOL

  • Review 18 (2013-12-31 - Rating: 4)

Great comedy club in NYC. Been there over 10 times in past 10 years and never been disappointed. Normally out of 5 performers 3 are guaranteed to be great, the rest are new guys trying out their material. Drink menu is poor as it has no hot drinks and prices of course are getting insane. Each drink is $14 (minimum 2 per person) with 18% mandatory tip. So expect $50 per person, plus admission fee. Look fro Groupon.

  • Review 19 (2014-03-06 - Rating: 4)

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :)Food: Good.Considering I ordered standard pub food: buffalo chicken wings and fries.Drinks: Great.Space: This is a very intimate comedy club (read: youll be on top of each other :)). The tables are all set up wrapping around the stage with a more lounge type setting on the elevated level towards the back. It is the perfect layout for mixing and mingling, date nights, and get-togethers. The stage is small and the comedians (new and seasoned) like getting audience participation. So regardless of where youre sitting you will be involved in the routine. :) The main entrance has a nice cozy bar where you can chat up seasoned comedians before they go up.Scene: Singles Scene. Date night. Comedy club.Crowd: 30-40s locals, tourists, and all around people that dont mine audience participation.Service: Bar staff and servers are courteous. It does get packed and service tends to slow down a little when performers are on.

  • Review 20 (2022-07-26 - Rating: 4)

Great, intimate space for comedy. No frills about it. Drinks were passable.$18 drink minimum with $20 tickets for the show we saw with a bunch of comedians.

  • Review 21 (2023-12-03 - Rating: 5)

Great acts. Good space. Efficient. 🙌🏻

  • Review 22 (2018-06-20 - Rating: 5)

I had such a good time here the comedians in the line up were all really funny and good at handling the hecklers (there is always that one table, unfortunately). The drinks here are AWFUL though, theres a drink minimum but everything is so, so watered down. But thats not the reason you go to a comedy club anyway, just wanted to provide a fair warning. Great staff!

  • Review 23 (2024-10-21 - Rating: 4)

My first time there for comedy night... we were not allowed to take pictures ... it was cool for the most part

  • Review 24 (2023-01-30 - Rating: 4)

Staff is great! Show was very good. The space was crowded, wish toilets could be more convenient (down narrow stairs) and been better stocked (paper).

  • Review 25 (2019-04-16 - Rating: 4)

Nice small comedy club with bar in front. Only four stars because apparently no staff pay attention to the acts because a group of people were asked to shut up by every comedian and nobody came to throw them out. There was a drink minimum and I just had a couple of beers. Others had cocktails and it didnt break the bank.

  • Review 26 (2019-03-25 - Rating: 5)

Saw the Sunday 8pm show and had a great time, laughing the entire time. It felt like we were getting an inside look at comedy in NY. Some of the comedians were better than others but that is part of what made it fun ... the comics are working hard, not putting on a rehearsed show.

  • Review 27 (2008-09-28 - Rating: 5)

I re-read some other reviews and checked it was the same place I visited last for the midnight show.We turned up early, but we were greeted warmly and staff vacated bar seats in and allowed us to sit down, we were served drinks at the bar (cheaper than the auditorium prices of course) and we chatted to the staff and manager, all very friendly. As we had turned up first, the staff member that greeted us ensured we were not in the line and we remained happily at the bar until show time. The auditorium was about half full but a good crowd all the same. As it was a late show there was plenty of language, fine by us.The compere (Luis Gomez) was very funny, the acts themselves wereRob Cantrell - fairly funnyMike Britt - HilariousJay Oakerson - Funny if you like Cringe humourNate Bargatze - quick taster set, not so funny.Overall this place is great, anyone who thinks there is a free show and not buy a couple of (not so bad for NY priced) drinks should wise up.

  • Review 28 (2019-11-14 - Rating: 5)

Great, cozy comedy spot. Make sure what youre buying counts towards your drink minimum: I think its common sense that food doesnt count but some folks there didnt.Great local comedians, lesser-known out-of-towners and (I hear) the occasional big name. This is where I go when I just want to see some random good comedians

  • Review 29 (2022-11-14 - Rating: 5)

It was wonderful! I had a great time. All of the comedians were really hilarious. If youre looking for great laughs go and enjoy. Youre welcome! 😊

  • Review 30 (2024-02-13 - Rating: 4)

Fun night of comedy with a variety of talent. Drinks were good, even if the space was very tight.

  • Review 31 (2016-12-06 - Rating: 4)

I liked it quite a lot and even though it was a small crowd (max 20 people) the comedians managed very well, only one bad performance which was totally understandable - comedy is a really hard and probably painful carrier choice for the most. Its not a cheap (which high frequent place in NYC is) but very friendly and inviting location.

  • Review 32 (2012-03-11 - Rating: 4)

Been there three times and had a great time each time. The people that complain about the salespeople in Times Square have no one to blame but themselves. The food is brought in, and takes a while because of that fact, but it has always been tasty and is reasonably priced. The drinks on the other hand are not reasonably priced, but as other reviewers have pointed out, this is NYC, and they certainly are not outrageously priced. Think about it folks - you arent going to pay the talent based on admission! If you go to a comedy club in NYC, expect to pay for drinks! Otherwise, watch HBO, and stop whining!I recommend Stand Up NY as a really fun night out!

  • Review 33 (2012-07-23 - Rating: 5)

I went on Friday July 21,2012 for my girlfriends birthday, we got our tickets online wasnt two fond of the 2 drink minimum or 15 minimum per person but all the comedy clubs have that it seems. The host was funny although she started by making jokes about the audience but they were good sports for the most part. I loved how they handled a heckler though, although she wasnt insulting the comedians she was really lloud and annoying trying to be part of the show. It was little cramped for my liking but this is my first comedy club and id probably go back but i wouldnt go out to dinner first especially with the two drink minimum.

  • Review 34 (2012-06-10 - Rating: 4)

Comedy pretty average and each comedian had a similar set which was disappointing. It was unfortunate a guest had a seizure just before they seated everyone and the host seemed to think it was funny to make jokes out of this. Im from the UK and got hooked by the vendor in Times Square who made no mention of the $15 drink min policy - not impressed, tho obv my own fault for not reading the small print. Wouldnt go back despite loving stand up as they used cheap tactics to get me there - if youre that good you shouldnt need that!!

  • Review 35 (2024-07-16 - Rating: 5)

Wow 😂 😂 is all I can say about Stand Up NY @ Bond 45!!!! We’ve been there many times as well as the old UWS location and we love it!!!! Always The best comedians and now in an amazing new venue……Stand up NY is a must and not to be missed!!!! Thank you to Dani, Gabe and the entire team for always ensuring a great experience!!!!

  • Review 36 (2016-10-12 - Rating: 4)

Good comedy, bad drink prices. Typical nyc stand up prices. 20 minimum for drinks. The show lasted two hours which I think made it good value. Would probably return, but not frequent often.

  • Review 37 (2013-06-16 - Rating: 5)

Stand Up NY has always been one of my favorite comedy clubs in NYC. Great professional shows, friendly staff and management, amazing atmosphere every night. The new renovations are a nice addition to the club, especially the comics photos on the walls in the bar area. I cant say enough about this place! Catch a comedy show any night of the week and see for yourself!

  • Review 38 (2013-02-02 - Rating: 4)

Ive seen a friend perform here twice and this small little club has grown on me. Theyve got an AYCD soda option to meet the drink minimum if you dont want alcohol. Sometimes you can score free show tickets in Times Square so it makes for an inexpensive, yet fun night out.

  • Review 39 (2015-06-29 - Rating: 5)

I have been going to Stand Up NY, since 1998. The comedians the put together are great. Just like every comedy club in the world, they have their bad crowds or even their bad comedians. Other than that. Its as expensive as any other comedy club and its just as fun. Enjoy.

  • Review 40 (2022-04-18 - Rating: 4)

I go this club once or twice a year the person that books my tickets is always super nice the only con is I dont drink alcohol so I pay for unlimited soda which ends up being no more the three and the wait staff takes they sweet time coming to our table performers alway good Ive had the opportunity to interact with a few after the show I wouldnt lie been to other clubs a bit nicer but I keep coming back to this one never return to the others

  • Review 41 (2018-05-17 - Rating: 5)

Bought tickets for a client last week and it couldnt have gone better. The staff was incredible and the show was great. To top it all off, Amy Schumer showed up! Really great experience.

  • Review 42 (2019-03-05 - Rating: 4)

Totally chill comedy club with an intimate feel and friendly staff. No surliness from behind the bar even when theres a rush for drinks all of a sudden between sets or an intermission. Perfect fit for the UWS.

  • Review 43 (2017-07-28 - Rating: 5)

I love this club, its one of the oldest in NYC but keeps a fresh look, was recently renovated and it looks great! From entrance to exit the whole experience was a true NY comedy experience. Great people, great comedians.

  • Review 44 (2013-03-18 - Rating: 5)

Best comedy club in NY! cant stop laughing! their food is not that good but I go there only for the laugh. great location too, tips : go dinner around the neigborhood then come here for the laugh. the place a bit small, so come early and make reservation first.

  • Review 45 (2011-07-08 - Rating: 4)

Had a pleasant night at Stand Up NY. The place is small and tight so you have to come early to get a decent seat. There are a number of different acts (of various comedic abilities) and they do short sets so in case theyre bad, you dont need ot listern for too long. It took a while for us to warm up but by the second to last act we were in stitches on every joke. One of my favorite acts was actually the host who did mini sets in between each act. The headliner was hysterical. There is a $15 drink menu (food not included). so factor that into your budget before going.

  • Review 46 (2017-09-29 - Rating: 5)

This place is the best! It has a really fun, yet cozy vibe and they always have the funniest comedians and the service is great! You can tell that the staff really loves what theyre doing. I love coming here!

  • Review 47 (2023-11-17 - Rating: 5)

Love the atmosphere! Make sure you book online in advance, and the earlier you arrive the better chance you get agood spot

  • Review 48 (2022-09-12 - Rating: 5)

Intimate place! Staff was nice! Wish there were more bathrooms though. Overall would see a comedy act here again

  • Review 49 (2017-03-21 - Rating: 5)

The comedians were really great, especially the host. Had a Groupon deal which required two drinks at minimum. Well worth it though because it was a good time.

  • Review 50 (2022-04-25 - Rating: 4)

Arrive early. Seating can fill pretty quickly. Often times there may be a drink minimum or admission cost but worth the comedy you will see. Two shows are often available as well- One that starts at 8pm and one at around 11I believe. An enjoyable night out.

  • Review 51 (2018-10-29 - Rating: 5)

    Great club with wonderful comics.

  • Review 52 (2022-12-14 - Rating: 4)

Here for a company holiday party. The host was very funny, the line up was hot or miss. I think they may have been unsure of what jokes to tell with he company owners there.

  • Review 53 (2022-07-14 - Rating: 5)

Great experience - the venue is well hosted and the comedians bring the heat. If you want to find rising comedy stars, this is the place.

  • Review 54 (2016-09-27 - Rating: 4)

I thought the comedians were pretty good. The place is a little crammed inside, but it adds to the vibe I guess. We knew about the $18 minimum before going. Overall, worth it for the night.

  • Review 55 (2023-02-24 - Rating: 5)

Just amazingly funny. The comics are all unique in their own ways. The bar service great too.

  • Review 56 (2019-01-23 - Rating: 5)

Nice club. Talent was very good. Nice atmosphere. They have a free shot if you mention social media but dont expect you cellar to work!

  • Review 57 (2024-05-14 - Rating: 5)

I highly recommend this show!!!! The comedians were really funny and it was a great mix. This place attracts amazing talent. Some of the bits were hilarious - and it was just full on gut splitting laughter. They also serve delicious cocktails, which we enjoyed.

  • Review 68 (2014-05-11 - Rating: 4)

Really funny stand up! And efter the show we went upstairs and they were trying out some new stuff on a smaller crowd. Which was also funny. The food wasnt great but we werent there for the food just the show.

Came to NY 🗽 to perform for my graduation from AMERICAN COMEDY INSTITUTE. To see how many Greats have crossed the stage before me at this Comedy Club gives me chill bumps! It was a really good experience from beginning to end, the club hostess was very nice. The bartender knows how to pour and the club itself was nice and clean. (COVID regulations and proof of Vaccination will be needed to enjoy this Club)Hope to Grace this stage again in the near future, but as an Act. 🎙️🤣

  • Review 81 (2019-02-22 - Rating: 5)

Excellent comedians. Very funny and a great place to laugh and have a good time. The drinks are expensive though

  • Review 82 (2021-07-18 - Rating: 4)

Went to my first show here (I love comedy clubs) and really liked it. Venue is cozy which gives it an intimate feel without being a sticky dive either. Waiter service was on point for drinks and most importantly the comedians were all very talented! The check in and seating process is pure stressful and awkward chaos tho and should be entirely reworked.

  • Review 83 (2023-01-14 - Rating: 5)

Love coming here for great laughs. They have a great mix of comics from professional to amateur. Just saw Michael Rapaport tonight and he killed it. Paul Mercurio is a recurring favorite. They offer a Laugh Pass which gives free admission to all the shows you can go to. The staff is very friendly and I encourage anyone who goes to sit by the stage for the full experience. Theres always a fun energy when the talent interacts with the crowd.

Acts were very good. Staff were friendly. However due to admin I got messed around a bit.

I got a special comp-ticket for a Friday 8pm show at S.U.NY. It was worth it for a nice evening of comedy. The drinks werent as pricey as some other venues. The comedian line-up was small but good overall because they had to make room for the headliner Mr. Rick Vos. The space is relatively small compared to other comedy venues still it had a good enough space for the crowd. And the basement lavatories decent & clean (though it may need better labeling for them) Ive been going to Stand Up NY for about 2 years & have always had a good experience. Thanks.

Nice NYC style comedy club, small room, low ceilings, pretty nice bathrooms too.

  • Review 119 (2016-11-25 - Rating: 4)

Comics were almost all fun, and two or three were really hilarious.

  • Review 120 (2023-03-12 - Rating: 5)

Awesome standup club, provides a very intimate setting and great comics. Be aware of the 18$ drink minimum though. If you bought the tickets via the fever app be aware you NEED to validate them before arriving

  • Review 127 (2021-10-31 - Rating: 5)

My husband and I came here on our anniversary trip, we had the best time! The line up was great all the comics were hilarious. We went to the late show dark and dirty understand it will be inappropriate if you come to the late show, if you dont like dark comedy come to an earlier show, drinks at the bar beforehand do not count towards that. There is a two drink minimum in the show, everyone will make sure youre aware before you go in so theres no confusion. Highly recommend you come here, well definitely be back next time were in the city

  • Review 128 (2022-08-07 - Rating: 5)

We had a large group reserved for a Friday night show, and Stand Up NY took exceptional care of us. The comics were excellent, the service was prompt, and the whole vibe was a great time. Its a wonderful place to see comedy in this city.

  • Review 129 (2018-04-11 - Rating: 5)

So much fun! Great line up. Attentive servers.

  • Review 130 (2022-05-31 - Rating: 4)

Great! A fun place to wind down and relax. The venue is smaller, allowing for more intimate interaction. The staff is helpful and professional, comics are good, and drinks are what youd expect. Shows can last more than 2 hours.

  • Review 131 (2022-05-19 - Rating: 5)

Great stand up experience! Never been to a stand up show before, but New York seemed the perfect place to try it out! I was hesitant, afraid it might not be my kind of humour, but it was hilarious! Laughed all night, very great comedians. It was all arranged great, got good seats, drinks at the table and paying the bill was easy. A must see in New York!

  • Review 132 (2021-11-29 - Rating: 5)

Been to this comedy club at least a dozen times and love all the comedians. I’ve seen Jerry Seinfeld and many other famous comics at Stand Up NY. This place has not only an energetic vibe, but more importantly, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You simply want to come back after you leave.

  • Review 133 (2016-01-10 - Rating: 5)

Saw Charlie Murphy and Jay phoar laughed so hard, great night

  • Review 134 (2018-03-11 - Rating: 4)

A little expensive but a nice spot, quaint showroom great stage

  • Review 135 (2021-04-12 - Rating: 5)

We went their opening night and it was a great experience. Its so good to have live standup comedy be back in person, and the line up lived up to expectations. We unfortunately had the table right in front of the comics and got picked on!! Its a cozy vibe with not too many people in the show and makes it feel even more personalized.

  • Review 136 (2022-01-03 - Rating: 4)

One of the 1st comedy clubs that I regularly frequent. I believe before they used to serve food but I believe they got rid of that during the pandemic. Youll always catch a great show and theyll sometimes have a big name comic randomly drop by. You never know

  • Review 137 (2019-11-02 - Rating: 4)

Tight spot but great show on the night I went. Sorry if this isnt helpful. Great drinks though! And cheap tickets make it a great low-key date night opportunity.

Good and accesibile - great first new york stand up experience

  • Review 145 (2019-10-08 - Rating: 5)

This is an intimate venue, we went on a Monday for the early show (8PM). There was lots of crowd interaction for the ~15 people in the audience. The host Emad and other comedians got a lot of good laughs from us. They also read the crowd and changed jokes accordingly. Yes, the $18 drink minimum per person is real, they do order their food from the eatery nearby, and were attentive to the tables. They do include gratuity in the tab as well.

  • Review 146 (2017-07-27 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic show! Learned about this comedy club from their website, and it did not disappoint. I wanted to see Joe List and Mark Normand, so I went on the website, found out when they were performing, and had a great time. The wait staff, bartenders and manager were very inviting and nice, and made my night wonderful. Comics were hilarious too! I would definitely recommend this club and definitely will be going again!

  • Review 147 (2015-08-28 - Rating: 4)

Went to 3 shows while visiting and this was by far the best. The comedians were hilarious and we had a great time. While there, George Wallace made a guest appearance which was really awesome. Other than the lack of room, I had no complaints. Highly recommend if you want to go to a cheap comedy show.

  • Review 148 (2017-07-27 - Rating: 5)

Hilarious! Went to the unwashed comedy show. Was a little nervous with some of the reviews being so negative--but was not disappointed. All of the comedians were funny. Yes the drinks were expensive--but NYC is expensive in general, so not a surprise. Plus as soon as you check in, when the waitress comes to say hi, AND when the MC/host comes on the stage, they make it every clear there is a 2 drink ($18) min per person. Its also written In multiple locations (along with the fact that tax isnt included on the menus and an 18% service charge is put in your tab). These angry people just must not be literate or just plain old grumpy. I quite enjoyed myself, along with the rest of the audience. Highly recommended. 👌Note: Im a real person and was not paid or endorsed (or what not) to write this review. Genuinely funny. :)

  • Review 149 (2017-07-27 - Rating: 5)

I recommend this club to anyone looking to have a fun break from work, or just wanting a good night out on the weekend. Im taking more friends there next time! 5 stars!!
