    This place had really friendly staff and a cosy vibe. The drinks choices were great. We went here on Christmas eve and it was the perfect evening. For a bar/pub right in the heart of NYC it was a great place to go to with a homely atmosphere. My favourite thing was they played Christmas movies which just made it feel even more festive for us.

    A very cool place! Its a little corporate, but a lot of fun nonetheless. The waitress was really sweet, the live musician was great, and they brought me a massive and tasty pretzel. Would highly recommend!

    Stout is an amazing place to come with groups if you’re looking to have great food, great service, and a great time. We went twice during our trip with our group of 9 and were accommodated both times even though the restaurant was packed. All of the food we had was excellent, the highlights for me were the chicken wings and the sliders/burger. The chicken wings are large and their medium sauce has the perfect amount of kick. The sliders were cooked perfectly and the topping to meat ratio created the optimal bite each time. Overall this is a must visit place.

    We were sat down immediately on a Friday night, 2 weeks before Christmas, and didnot have a reservation. I was surprised. Three adults and one child. We were sat in the back and the ambiance, live music, Christmas decor was on point. The food was good. The beers were great. Bar is large. The best part, and an unexpected one, were the oysters. Would return for that.

    Our Family trip to see the rockettes and it was absolutely DUMPING out with the most rain we’ve seen all year.We decided to skip Bryant park and come to Stout and I’m glad we did! The Christmas decor, food, drinks, and service was top notch 🎅🍷Special thanks to Judy who was a fantastic waitress. Cheers, Stout!

    Used the private event space at the top to host an event. Dimly lit and kind of noisy. Wasnt the most conducive or seemingly upscale environment for talking about business. Food was good and drinks were great with the private bar on top.

    Great service and Very efficient. You order on you phone using Apple Pay or the waitresses help you and give you a bill. I had the blackened salmon was super tasty. I will come here again and I recommend coming here if you want good drinks, good service, and good food.

    Judi was spectacular! She recommended the Ice Cream Wafflewich and it was slamming. I will definitely come here again. The drinks are great as well. Make sure you tip Judi!

    Everything that was ordered was devoured.. Simply great food w a great vibe. Judy our waitress was really great at offering suggestions and very sweet. All in all we all loved it and all of us said we would definitely come back. A little pricey for lunch, however when the company is paying its perfect.

    Searched around for a bar near my hotel and found Stout. I ordered the mini burgers on the recommendation of the bartender. They were awesome. Plump and cooked medium to medium rare, they were juice and delicious. Great, soft buns, not too bready. I didnt usually like pickles but the pickle on top was actually a delicious add. The toppings, including lettuce, bacon (have to add), and sauce, were amazing. The whole thing came together perfectly, and there were 4 (bartender might have added 1).Great beer selection, huge open space with TVs everywhere. Great place to meet friends and watch a game. Overall a great bar.

    One of the default bar choices in the area. Stout is a clean, modern sports bar/Irish pub with plenty of character with lots of seating and a menu covering all your favorite bar foods and drinks. My sister and I came across this place whilst out sightseeing. The stout burger came with sweet potato fries and they were amazing! The food was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. I will return when back in the area.

    Not even lying when I say these are the best fries I’ve ever had in my LIFE. The chicken sandwich is also the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Waiter was incredibly nice and served us fast and kept checking up on us. The fries are crisp to perfection on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. The chicken sandwich is a MUST TRY. The coleslaw is amazing and the bread is buttery soft. The chicken itself is crispy on the outside and extremely juicy on the inside. The sauce was also fantastic. The lemon aioli had a nice tang and the avocado ranch was thick and creamy. Overall 10/10

    The staff was so nice and the area was so neat and clean. No one in the place was too loud and I didnt have to yell to talk to the other people at my table. The prices are normal and the drinks extremely tasty.Definitely a nice quiet place to catch up with friends or just to have a nice drink at the end of a long day.

    Very nice place to get a drinks or two, the atmosphere is very well done, decorated tastefully.Dont go for the food, its really not great. Just frozen fries and cant even make a simple good burger. Thats was very disappointing.Service was very nice, fast and polite.Overall a good time but damn guys your food need to step up. Make less but make good;)

    Great place, great location for a restaurant that took our group of 7 as a walk in at 8pm. Half a block from time Square and 6th Ave. Hidden gem. They have several TVs playing sports. Food was excellent. Service was top notch. I found out that they are an Ohio State bar, so of you are an Ohio State fan, even better.

    Had an amazing Brunch and enjoyed every moment. The food was good and the drinks were fantastic. I would say be prepared for a little slow service but thats only because they are so busy, but management is good and service was on point. No complaints and will definitely be returning again.

    Fantastic place to watch sports, I can for the rugby World Cup final and loved it. Great selection of beers and the farmer’s market salad with falafel was phenomenal! also love how you can get beet tasting paddles for only $10.

    Love the vibe. Overall very neat and clean and you wouldnt mind taking your kids (or grandparents) to. Service was great and timely. Good select of beers and food. Loaded fries actually came loaded and very sufficient. Ill definitely come back for the $1 per oyster deal on Mondays.

    My husband and I hosted a late lunch/informal wedding reception for a total of 21 people (14 adults and 7 children). Sarah Real, the Director of Events, was quick to respond to our questions and was accommodating with our requests months ahead of the event. The food was delicious and fairly priced (prix-fixed menu with options for the adults and the kids were able to order off the regular menu.) The day manager Kerry (spelling?) was wonderful and our main server Juliana (spelling?) did an amazing job. While we were there during a college football Saturday and the noise level was substantial, Sarah offered to move our party upstairs ahead of the event. This provided our group with extra space to mingle away from the college football crowd. Im glad we chose Stout for our day. Would recommend!

    Nice bar, was pretty packed when we arrived. Ordering was done thru your phone after scanning a QR code, therefore you could take your time ordering. When we did order service was quick and correct. I only had a few beers but they were reasonably priced. My friends got bowls which looked good and I think they were satisfied. We sat outside but the inside looked nice and I saw plenty of tvs, overall enjoyed the experience

    🍻We went to drink a Guinness beer and eat. We ordered fries, in my opinion they were crunchy and delicious, for my date they were too cooked🤷🏽‍♀️ Anyway, the food looks very good, specially the hamburgers.🤑 Prices are ok and the portion size is big.👍🏼 Attention is excellent. They serve filtered water as a complementary service.🤩The place has a chill vibe, very cool deco. Nice for a date, to go with friends or to watch your favorite sports games.

    Convenient location if you are in vicinity of times square, Bryant park. Ambience is welcoming and casual. Drinks (Beer collection and cocktails) are very good. Food is good as well. I definitely enjoyed the salt and pepper calamari which I am very picky about. The spicy cauliflower was good as well. There are two reasons to give four stars instead of 5. First, they are short staffed I had time to download an app, review the menu and order drinks via app before the server showed up at the table. Second, the entrees were underwhelming I ordered the Angry Burger which was mediocre at best.

    We didnt get any food just drinks, but it looked great, which is why I didnt rate that category.Great bar, tons of space which is refreshing. TVs arent huge so theres that if youre tryna watch any games. We came to watch some games and though we could see, having bigger TVs would have easily made this place a top 5 bar recco in my opinion.Its still an amazing bar and people should definitely make it a regular spot - you can tell they care about their service and their Christmas decor is sick!

    I cannot express how amazing our experience was here. We sat at the bar for about two hours on a Sunday evening and got the pleasure of talking with the bartender Sky and one of the CoOwners. This place cares about their costumers and their experience. They hire very kind and attentive people and the food is awesome. If you are looking for a good evening to sit and connect with people. This is the place.

    Went for a movie at the nearby AMC and decided to come here for post movie drinks. Loved the location, went on a Friday evening, got seated pretty quick (had reservation). Ordered a bunch of beers (from there longgggg list of beers) along with fried calamari and warm artichoke dip..everything was great and we had an amazing time. Will definitely visit again!

    Went to happy hour to celebrate a colleagues retirement. We had a small cordered off area at the front of the bar but it was perfect for our party size. The bartender was friendly and attentive and the apps were all very good. We had beef burger sliders, chicken tenders, franks in blankets, veggies spring egg rolls, and some turkey burgers that were cut in quarters so they could be shared. I had a specialty cocktail called Ciao Bella and it was very refreshing. Great time, great place!

    Bottomless brunch! The food, service and drinks are amazing. By far it’s the best Bloody Mary in the city. They even let you change up your drinks during bottomless. Everything was perfect.

    Had been to NYC many times in the past and to Stout on 33rd every visit (as it was the only Stout back then), after babies and a ten year break we came back last week with our kids (7&9). Stout on 33rd is a lot narrower and to be fair they wont seat kids near the bar area - not something we ever thought about or noticed on our previous (childless) visits. But....Stout on 39th was a revelation,! close to our Hotel, big bar area and high tables right in the middle of the bar so my boys (who have pretty much grown up in pubs) could see all the sports screens and be part of what was going on. We visited every day for 8 days, either as a family, me alone, or just me and my eldest (who one evening they spontaneously gifted an apple pie to, yeah!). We even went there the night of my birthday as I could be sure of a great night, good staff and good food.Back home now, will be a few years before we return but next time we visit NYC, the Hotel will be picked so we can end our evenings at Bryant park Stout - big thank you to all you guys who served us, and your customers who were kind enough to chat to us too.

    Liked the spaciousness of it. Nice open feel. Beer selection was decent. Wouldve like a little more info on each but thats pulling hairs.Service was attentive. Food selection was you normal bar fare. Quality was decent. Good enough to go and get your drink on and hang out for a night.Cocktail selection was underwhelming, but I would assume they could make whatever you want.

    I went after the Ice Ball at Bryant Park skating rink, on the coldest night so far in NYC!I had their Mulled Wine And it was absolutely delicious!.... I have to go back there just to have that again!..... I also had the sweet potato fries and I have to say they were perfect.

    Stout is an exceptional place. From the beautiful floors (stamped concrete to look like cobblestone) to the woodwork, everything is gorgeous. Our server and hostess were lovely. The tacos were great and the chicken fingers with Asiago was amazing. The drinks are good sized. I was at a party in the upstairs and it was comfortable for the 50 or 60 of us. Intimate tables inside or out, a party room , good food...a+. Plus the owner is a heck of a nice person. Came over, greeted us...thanks Martin and team for a lovely night of good food, good drinks and good company.

    Excellent place with a really good selection of beer and cocktails. The place was full on a Saturday night yet the service was prompt and fast.We ordered chicken wings, burrito bowl with chicken and a side of fries. The fries were served with some flavoured mayo that really complimented well. The burrito bowl had a good amount of serving with good taste. The wings weren’t too spicy and coated with generous sauce and were really delicious.Definitely a good place for a dinner when visiting Manhattan.

    I like this version of Stout than its other locations. Its more an open floor plan and has a better line up of draft beers. Over all the food is solid pub fare. Better than most burger with a generous patty and they dont charge extra for changing the side whether sweet potato fries or the salad . Like all of NYC pubs be ready for about $30 a person.

    Stout is a great place for drinks after work. I used to go to the 33rd street location and this new place is equally good but it is much smaller in capacity. They have kept the same high quality of food but the menu on drinks is substantially smaller (admittedly I have not been to 33rd street location for a while so maybe the change is across all locations but I doubt it). All in all a good place for a drink and a really good burger after work!

    The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I accidentally booked a big party for the other stout location and didn’t realize until last minute. This location was very generous and accommodated my party of 11 last minute! They have great bar food and the ambiance is nice. Great place to grab a drink!
