Really good pizza. I recommend just getting the pepperoni. I added the sausage with it but honestly....pepperoni is enough. In the pic is the small pie. Pretty generous size. About 10 small pieces.....completely filling.....and delicious! -

This was a clean place with super high ceilings. Plenty of TVs to watch the game. The televisions seem to be in a SD quality though. There are no super large TVs here, but there are lots of them. There is a good selection of beers. There is also a great collection of craft beers from New York here. -

This is your Packer bar in NYC! It was great to find a fun restaurant to get brunch and cheer on the Packers. They have a bottomless brunch option. I thought the chipotle black bean quinoa burger was fantastic. The service was quick and friendly. The mushroom toast was good but is a small portion. -
Review 4 (2024-12-31 - Rating: 5)
Came here as a family of four (two teenagers) to watch the Packers game during a trip to NYC. We had wings which were super good, they had a light breading on them. The pretzel was huge and delicious- slightly sweet which we loved. The calamari was really tasty- expected a little more banana peppers based on description- I think we tasted 2-3 little rings- but overall everything (beer, chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, pretzel, fries and wings) was great and reasonably priced for the city.Atmosphere was perfect- not too crowded or overwhelming but still a fun place to enjoy the game. Service was also good. -

Great sports bar to watch a Yankee game. Service was amazing. The wait staff was very nice and funny. Loved it here. Pizza was good, very thin crust. Chicken wings were great...coming from a guy from Buffalo. On the list to visit every time I am in NYC. -
Review 6 (2024-09-28 - Rating: 5)
Great pub atmosphere in midtown! The manhattan made with Angels Envy was top notch! The service was quick and friendly. -
Review 7 (2024-11-09 - Rating: 5)
This restaurant/bar is perfect for casual group dining/brunch/coffee/drinks near Grand Central. It’s a large, comfortable space and you can each start your own tab and order through a QR code at your table so you don’t need to take the extra time to figure out who owes what at your table. -
Review 8 (2022-04-18 - Rating: 5)
Experienced bottomless brunch at Stout. The atmosphere and decor is extremely well done, from the bar areas’ brick floors that transition to a wood plank dining area, tin ceilings, Edison bulbs, damask wallpaper, leather chesterfield booths and apothecary styled walls literally take you across the pond to the finest of Irish pubs. The Breakfast Pizza was delicious and inventive. For a mix of sweet and savory I had the Chicken and Waffles made with bacon and cheese embedded in the waffles which was hearty and flavorful. The Bottomless Boozy brunch of Mimosa and Rum Punch were more than we expected with actual taps brought to our tables for self serve refills! Talk about getting your moneys worth and knocking your socks off.Service was gracious, attentive and expeditious especially for a group of 12. A solid choice! -

The best grilled Ceasar Salad. Also, ordered the Flower Child Cocktail 10/10 -
Review 10 (2023-07-27 - Rating: 4)
Highly recommended if youre in the area and wanting to watch games. Excellent location, clean, spacious bar with lots of seating all around with plenty of screens, broad menu and specials. Service is friendly and attentive. Lots of beers to choose from. Make a reservation during busy times. A Packers bar... Go Pack Go! Enjoy!Update here July 2o23: confirmed NO happy hour, but it is definitely bustling with Midtown workers! Enjoy the crowds and beer! -

This is the second Stout location Id visited recently. This location had great service, food, and atmosphere.Since its so close to Grand Central, its great that they have a screen protecting the updated departures for the trains. We were a party of eight, celebrating a birthday, before going to see a show. Half of us arrived early, but were able to be seated right away. We had drinks and appetizers while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive from their train. We had the giant pretzel (which had a perfect amount of salt and was accompanied by both a cheese sauce and a mustard sauce), the fried calamari (which was lightly breaded, nicely fried, and accompanied by a tasty, creamy dipping sauce), and a small order of buffalo chicken wings (very tasty and served with blue cheese, carrots, and celery).I got the kinamona to drink and it was very good...I ended up ordering a second one!(Allspice-infused Bacardi rum, pineapple juice, apple cider, fresh lime juice, cinnamon simple syrup, peach bitters)Most of the group got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (which has a great sauce, coleslaw, and pickles on a fresh, fluffy bun), two got the Stout Burger, which was tasty and cooked medium-well, as ordered, and I got the Sweet & Spicy Cauliflower appetizer as my meal.We also ordered a few different on-tap beers and IPAs. There is a good-sized variety to choose from, so its easy to find something to suit all tastes. Our waitress was fantastic. Very attentive and responsive.Love the close location to Grand Central and we will definitely be back. -
Review 12 (2024-03-23 - Rating: 5)
Great place to grab a quick beer before hopping on the train. They had a huge beer selection, and the bar tender was friendly and accommodating. I would def recommend checking it out. The prices were also reasonable. -
Review 13 (2023-10-25 - Rating: 5)
I came to meet a friend around 6 PM. It was super busy and crowded. Everything was great. The folks at the reception were friendly, the service was just great and prompt, and the food and drinks were delicious. -
Review 14 (2020-02-26 - Rating: 5)
I really love this place , love the location and the delicious food inside the grand central, so many people go and back and stop for a hamburger or a delicious coffe , love the building is super nice, police are everywhere and make us feel really good and comfortable, I highly recommend this place for the best hamburger in town and the best pastry’s. Price are very good too . -

Review 16 (2021-11-26 - Rating: 5)
Fantastic, good drinks, lovely service, great vibe of the place. I recommend it because its a bit off the beaten track, but dont miss out on when in NYC. Every European sports fan will find his place here. I had my Thanksgiving meal here and it was delicious. -
Review 17 (2022-02-19 - Rating: 4)
Pretty good food. Not crowded on a Saturday. There is lots of room inside and it is right next to Grand Central, so good place to grab a meal if you are traveling. -
Review 18 (2022-09-12 - Rating: 4)
Grilled chicken sandwich on pretzel bun was delicious. Chicken was on the small side though and the fries were over cooked and cold. Service was good. Atmosphere was loud. It was Sunday Football so that was to be expected. TVs everywhere showing all games. -
Review 19 (2022-12-19 - Rating: 5)
Nice restaurant near by the Grand Central. Good for watching sports. Waitress was extremely friendly. The pizza so yummy and crispy. The egg on pizza is my favorite. The stout burger also yummy. -
Review 20 (2024-04-13 - Rating: 4)
A solid bar with a wide selection of beers on tap and plenty of space on two levels. Cocktails are standard at best but that’s to be expected. Food is pretty common American bar-fare. A low light ambiance makes it a good after work to late evening place to mingle and socialize. Lots of TVs all around that are typically tuned to local sports of interest. For all the nearby commuters they also have a screen that shows the latest train schedules as a great bonus. -
Review 21 (2022-05-20 - Rating: 5)
Great Vibes! Watched the Flames whoop Oilers butt 9-6.Had the Warm Artichoke, spinach & cheese dip with pita points. They did not last very long, same with the beers. -
Review 22 (2024-07-18 - Rating: 5)
I needed a place to bring the family to so I could grab a couple of beers and them some soft drinks - what a place ! Great ambience, exactly what I wanted from a NY bar on my visit from the UK - the Brooklyn pilsner was super ! By far my fave place in NY to drink -
Review 23 (2024-04-07 - Rating: 5)
One of my new favorite places! The drinks and food are amazing!! And the service is excellent!! Even on a busy after work evening, the staff was attentive and still checked on us! Love that its close to the train station and they have the train times - so its always great to know when you can just take the next one!! -
Review 24 (2024-12-08 - Rating: 5)

Review 25 (2024-06-20 - Rating: 5)

Review 26 (2024-07-30 - Rating: 5)
Loved this bar. Good value, the four of us enjoyed our food. -
Review 27 (2024-04-13 - Rating: 5)
Lovely bar, great atmosphere and great service. One bar tender went above and beyond. Think his name was Mark and there was a girl from Monaghan too from a place in Ireland who was very friendly and accomodating of me and my friends, saw the game on the big screen 2, hell of a bar -
Review 28 (2023-12-12 - Rating: 5)
The food was very good. What I like about this place is that its a great after work space where you can grab a bite to eat, or a drink, before getting on the subway, Metro North, or the Long Island Railroad. The overhead view screen, near the front door, allows the patron to determine when they would need to leave in order to not miss their train. -
Review 29 (2023-04-21 - Rating: 5)
Love at first site. Stout is more attractive than I expected. Beautiful rich wood tables, dim lighting yet not too dim, very open but cozy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was better than expected too. Even food portions were generous. Prices are pub prices, no sticker shock at Stout. Heres where I fell in love: no matter size of party you can have a separate check!! Scan QR code, identify your seat, place your order, and ta-da! You get a separate check. No more paying $75 on a portion of a group check when you had a burger and fries (weve all been there!). Definitely a customer conscious midtown treasure! -
Review 30 (2024-03-17 - Rating: 5)
Best bar weve been to in New York! Maurice the bar tender was lovely and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend! Excellent service, great atmosphere and delicious food👏 -
Review 31 (2023-09-15 - Rating: 4)
Stout NYC offers a great Sportsbar dining experience. The atmosphere is inviting, and the menu boasts a variety of tasty options. I particularly enjoyed the friendly service. While it was a great experience, theres always room for a little improvement, in my case it was just so loud, hence the four stars. -
Review 32 (2023-03-18 - Rating: 4)
Was At a private event. The scrambled egg on kaiser roll with bacon was just ok. St Patricks day breakfast. Grand central location -
Review 33 (2024-01-27 - Rating: 5)

Review 34 (2017-10-10 - Rating: 4)
Not pricy, $6 Bud Light but good beer selection, really loud and packed though. This is around 7:30 on a Tuesday. -
Review 35 (2020-01-14 - Rating: 4)
Really enjoyed my time here. It’s a great Packers bar in the heart of Manhattan. Claire, my bartender from Ireland, was great. Good food, too. -
Review 36 (2023-05-12 - Rating: 5)
We had our company get together in Stout a few days ago. It was my first time and I enjoyed the beers. They have several options to choose. The burger and fries were tasty as well. I recommend this place who wants to hang for a bit and leave. -
Review 37 (2024-03-21 - Rating: 4)
It was too dark for my eyes but good drinks and a good atmosphere. Its a very small space, so dont plan a group meet-up here. Its very tight. -
Review 38 (2023-11-27 - Rating: 5)
Thankyou Stout NYC. I went ice skating with my family at Bryant Park on Thanksgiving day and had dinner at Stout (Grand Central location.) Everything was fantastic. The food and service were great and the atmosphere was warm and inviting....Christmas tree and decorations are glowing in the entrance. -

Review 41 (2022-10-08 - Rating: 4)
We were lucky to get an outdoor table because the weather was spectacular for October. You had to order everything through their app, for which they provided the QR code. The app was pretty seamless but we were wondering how to order the specials as they’re not on the app. We ordered calamari, turkey burger, and fish and chips. The size was very generous for the price but the quality could be a bit better, especially on the rather soggy fries. Meat quality was good. The cod batter was thin and crispy so they did a good job there. Inside was very loud (Friday evening). No servers for outdoor tables other than those bringing your food from the kitchen to the table. So if you wanted other things (cutlery, water, etc.), make sure you asked everything all at once. Payment had to go through the app too. But it was seamless. Would recommend but not sure if we’d come back. There are better places in the city offering similar things. -
Review 42 (2022-11-14 - Rating: 4)
It was good. Great soundtrack. I took one star off because we werent even acknowledged for at least 5 minutes sitting at the bar. They werent that busy. 5 or 6 empty seats at the bar and only 1 of the high top tables being occupied. We were about to leave when the bartender finally came over and got our order. After we got our first drink things got better for us and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Especially the music. As a career bartender myself I live by the 30 60 30 rule. Acknowledge your customer within 30 seconds, take their order within the next 60 seconds, ring the order up within the next 30 seconds. I wish more places would teach this to their staff. -
Review 43 (2024-11-10 - Rating: 5)
Great spot to take a break and enjoy a cappuccino!!! I had the skirt steak sandwich and it was amazing !!!! They also do an endless drip coffee for 5.00 till 5pm . You will find alfresco seating thats great to sit and people watch while you enjoy the amazing foods ! -

One of the best in town!!!!! Everything has been perfect. Thank you. I recommend -
Review 45 (2022-11-06 - Rating: 5)
Lively place with a nice feel to it. Food was great, drinks were okay. Service was good, we were notified when we received a new server (shift ended). I went after work and was surprised there wasn’t a happy hour special but overall good experience and will return. -
Review 46 (2023-08-22 - Rating: 5)

Review 47 (2023-11-08 - Rating: 5)
Great sports bar just around the corner from Grand Central station. Happened to have one screen showing the football whilst the rest had American rugby on. Fantastic atmosphere -
Review 48 (2022-04-18 - Rating: 4)
The place was okay. Clean, attentive staff, welcoming, a good number of TVs to watch the ongoing games, good bar and drinks. However, the food was average. Nothing special. Went there for brunch and I was not impressed at all. Could have been better. -
Review 49 (2018-02-14 - Rating: 5)
I worked with Paul to set up a private corporate happy hour. He was extremely prompt when responding to my emails/phone calls and everything was set up perfectly upon our arrival. The food was tasty and drinks were great. We were very happy with the service! I would highly recommend Stout for drinks with friends or for a corporate function! -

Review 53 (2022-09-23 - Rating: 5)
Went there for the first time with my coworkers, it was kind of empty by 430pm, by the time I left around 630 it was super packed with no available tables, the staff were friendly, the drinks were made correctly, and the burrito bowl with steak was to die for. I would for sure revisit here the next time Im in NY. Good for groups but too loud for a date. Keep up the good work! -
Review 54 (2024-12-18 - Rating: 4)
Good place for a quick bite -
Review 55 (2022-04-28 - Rating: 4)
Met some coworkers here after work and this was quite the busy place. Thankfully I reserved a table prior to coming or it would have been impossible to order a beer. They had a relatively large can and bottle menu but a somewhat limited draft menu. We ordered the Country Fried Chicken Fingers and Pretzel for appetizers. Both were fresh and tasy. Finally I ordered a Stout Burger for dinner and it was cooked a little over what was expected but still a decent burger. Overall the experience was good, this place was lively, loud and it reminded me of times before the pandemic how people use to gather after work. -
Review 56 (2018-06-26 - Rating: 5)
Went for lunch with a group of friends that I used to work with. We were in a chatty mood and we were not rushed at all. If you need quick service it will be provided but you can also just relax there. The food was very good but the portion size was rather large. The prices, were fair for a lunch in NYC. -
Review 57 (2024-08-30 - Rating: 5)
Very delicious burgers! I got the angry burger and it was perfect! Highly recommend. -
Review 58 (2018-07-04 - Rating: 5)
Bars on two floors with over 24 beers on tap. Bartenders are really nice and the food is very good. It can get crowded at times, best time to go is probably Monday or Tuesday night. A lot of commuters go on weeknights (especially Thursday nights!) then catch their trains at Grand Central terminal, keeping updated by the real time track info screens that are around the bars. The other screens pretty much only have sports broadcasts. Private bathrooms on both floors. -
Review 59 (2018-09-26 - Rating: 5)
Nice place for drinks with pals and dates. Place is big and has nice comfy seating -
Review 60 (2017-12-24 - Rating: 4)
Was surprised at how decent the music selection was. The place was very busy for a Friday night but still enough space to fill a holiday after party of about 12 people with no reservation. 3 types of Stouts on draft which ran about $9 a glass? Im guessing they have a happy hour situation which may be the best time to visit as the bar tab went up pretty high after a few rounds. -
Review 61 (2018-02-25 - Rating: 4)
Like its Penn Station counterpart, it gets the job done. Great spot to grab a beer or five after work if youre in the area or heading to Grand Central. More laid back than nearby Park Avenue Tavern (this also means the food isnt as good, but you do get more elbow room). Two levels: I once booked the upstairs for a catered corporate event. Again, it got the job done for a reasonable price per head. -
Review 62 (2024-09-10 - Rating: 5)
This is absolutely one of my fav place here in NYC! My friend from Brazil came to the city couple weeks ago to visit me and I decided to go there with him - now he’s gone but missing that burger. -
Review 63 (2022-12-17 - Rating: 4)
Good food and drinks. unfortunately no happy hour and the drinks are a bit pricy. but the waitress was very nice and attentive to our group. it was pretty crowded though so prepare your voice to be yelling at the other people in your group so they can hear you. -
Review 64 (2020-05-17 - Rating: 5)
Stout is always a great time. Quality beer on tap. Quality food and service whether you’re standing at the bar or sitting for a full dining experience. Also great choice in music. It’s not like other bars in the area blasting modern dance music. -
Review 65 (2016-07-27 - Rating: 4)
Food and drinks were good, but they could have used more staff on hand for the dinner rush. Out server was great, but seemed spread thin due to covering a lot of tables! I would recommend going if you are in NYC and like many beer options. However, be ready to spend a lot of time there. -
Review 66 (2022-06-09 - Rating: 5)
Excellent menu and service! Not surprisingly, crowded. -
Review 67 (2017-12-10 - Rating: 5)
I held a holiday fundraising party here and had a blast. Paul and Daniel went out of their way to accommodate our group. We were able to have our own playlist, play videos, and a whole lot more. The bar itself - spacious, fun, and spirited. Really good vibes, pleasant people, and tasty food. Looking forward to going back! Id recommend Stout to anyone! -
Review 68 (2020-02-26 - Rating: 4)
It was not difficult to find a table after work for 10 people. We shared a bunch of appetizers, that were actually all pretty delicious - especially the calamari, loaded fries, and southern fried chicken strips. I was let down a little by the beer list, it was nothing exciting, and my coworkers had assured me that it was a beer bar with a lot of selection. -
Review 69 (2023-09-24 - Rating: 4)
Service was quick and helpful.Food was very tasty. The only thing that bothered me was the smell of chlorine-based cleaning products in the entrance area. -
Review 70 (2021-05-26 - Rating: 5)
Went here for a business lunch. Reasonably priced, delicious meals and staff were courteous. I ordered Buttermilk Chicken Fingers; the guest ordered Fish and Chips. He was delighted, and so was I. -

Like the place very cozy. the place was empty I ask bartender to change maybe one of the channels to something other than sport while I was there she refused she said only sports .it was empty I would stay longer..other than that good place, love the decor. -
Review 75 (2021-12-15 - Rating: 5)
Great afterwork environment! Large place, packed with people. Food menu is broad, suited mine and all the patrons in our party well. Definitely recommend if you are in the area! -
Review 76 (2015-11-07 - Rating: 4)
A great typical Irish pub with lovley interior and stone laid floor and wooden ceiling. I had a classic fish and chips which was very food, only a bit small portioned, to go with my cold Guinness. The service is very efficient and friendly. Definitely check it out if you like Irish pubs. -
Review 77 (2016-10-07 - Rating: 5)
Nice spot, we stopped off for a quick mid afternoon beer whilst exploring Manhattan. Friendly staff, plenty of sports on the TVs, and very clean. Decor is really cool and authentic too. Wish Id asked what the relation to Texas is!!! -

Review 79 (2021-09-15 - Rating: 4)
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at stout. Only thing is the waitress was a little rushed when taking our order and managed to get a couple drinks wrong, however I am not one to complain. -
Review 80 (2021-12-21 - Rating: 5)
LEANNE took great care of us @ Stout! We arrived late but she was kind enough to let us have a glass of wine AKA: Nightcap (we did not eat). It was an absolute pleasure to talk with Leanne. I swear half the bartenders in NYC are from Ireland. :-) Safe travels home Leanne over the holidays! Maybe they will open up a little bit over there so that you and your friends can get out and enjoy the Craic :-) -
Review 81 (2022-08-17 - Rating: 5)
Always a solid spot for drinks before a sporting event...whether heading out of GC (Mets games on the 7 train or Metro North Uptown to Yankee Stadium) or for MSG (There is another location close by Penn Station) Try the wings...super crispy, the way they should be. -
Review 82 (2017-01-29 - Rating: 4)
Cool atmosphere. Their selection of ciders could use some work & the one I really wanted was not in Stock. Artichoke dip was good but the rest of the food we tried was pretty flavorless. -
Review 83 (2017-09-08 - Rating: 4)
Love the staff. The drinks are always strong and the food is always flavorful. But, this is midtown Manhattan and it is pricey. Would recommend for lunch, but not after work drinks unless youre looking for a crowd -
Review 84 (2019-01-03 - Rating: 4)
This place is really big. Commuter bar for sure being so close to grand central. They even have the metro north train schedule on the television. Drink prices are a bit pricey for the spot. Definitely looks like a happy hour bar. -
Review 85 (2024-08-02 - Rating: 5)
Friendly proper pub with delicious chicken wings on offer. -
Review 86 (2019-03-27 - Rating: 4)
Decent beer list. Only went once, but seemed popular as an after work drink spot. Upstairs bar was very busy when I got there around 7pm but cleared out pretty fast after that. Would go again. -
Review 87 (2023-04-07 - Rating: 5)
A large sports bar with plenty of televisions. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A very large selection of beers and good food. -
Review 88 (2024-09-04 - Rating: 4)
Good beer options, but pricey. -
Review 89 (2022-10-09 - Rating: 5)
We didnt know anything about this place. We just found it on Google. It was pretty good. The food was great and they have a great drink selection. Definitely worth trying. -
Review 90 (2020-01-31 - Rating: 4)
This is the closest bar to Grand Central thats not actually in Grand Central and there is a large Metro North departures screen on the front wall. As such, it becomes the cool kids waiting area for people catching a train or deliberately trying to miss one. And therefore during after-work and commuting hours its very busy and noisy. But theres a good selection of beers on tap, the bartenders do a decent job of keeping up with the traffic, and come on, youre not going to a bar after work to sit in an empty silent room... -

Great spicy chicken sandwich. Great staff. -
Review 92 (2017-10-31 - Rating: 4)

Review 93 (2018-07-11 - Rating: 5)
Ive come here for lunch a couple times on the weekends (after a session at EBF next door). Since its by GCT it is more of a corporate scene on weekdays. On weekends, it is completely empty. Sit at the bar, watch a few games for the entire afternoon. Good range of food, upscale bar food. -
Review 94 (2024-07-21 - Rating: 5)

Good selection of beers, but if you want variety in whiskey try somewhere else. Food is usually pretty good (bar food) spacious venue, lots of screens for sports and generally nice staff. -

Excellent selection of beers. They ran out of some Stouts, which I expected to be available because of the name of the place. But overall, I had a good time there and would definitely go back. -

Although Stout looks like a typical Irish pub from the street, you will be surprised when you see how much space they have. Good music, super clean, and most importantly, everyone that works there is professional, friendly, and fast. -

Great spot. Apps were excellent! -
Review 102 (2018-02-27 - Rating: 4)
Its your pretty normal Irish Pub with the usual offerings and the wait staff were attentive. Good for a quick place to eat or meet with friends after work for drinks. -

Late staff is stellar. I always come for the Great Divide- Hercules. Only bar in midtown to carry this undiscoved treasure. The bartender told me they were going to stop carrying this zen juice 2 months ago. I was disappointed and decided to search elsewhere for my dbl ipa after my work beer. This saint took my beer off menu and saved me 3 before it was discontinued... Now thats love. I forget his name. Because it works. 10abv. Thank u. -

For being so close to grand central it has decent prices, a friendly staff, and walking in around 12:30 on a Thursday was no problem getting a seat. Tried the McKenzies Black Cherry cider and was pleasantly surprised. Nice spot to pop into when taking a break from walking through the city -

NYC’s premiere Packer bar. Though the 2019 NFC Championship didn’t turn out in our favor, Stout was a great place to watch the Packers game. Great fans, decent beer, and fantastic TVs. From beginning to end the staff was helpful and welcoming. Thanks, Stout, and Go Pack Go! -

Nice spot. Pretty big, so if you go with the group you can take a corner on the bar or arrange for a big table. Draft beers are a little small/undersized -

This is definitely a gem in Manhattan: although the beers were not the best selection in town, the food was superb! Try the calamari, shrimp and the avocado toasts - if you’re in a big party! Ribs are delicious and the environment is precisely what one expects when in a pub: nice decoration, nothing fancy, lots of TVs and live sports. Totally recommended. -
