    The Tres Golpe roll at Sushi Mambo was absolutely phenomenal! From the first bite, it was clear that this dish was made with top-notch ingredients and attention to detail. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with a delightful combination of plantain. The freshness of the plantain, paired with the unique blend of flavors in the roll, really set it apart from anything I’ve tried before.

    Came here early dinner and sat at the bar with Smarlin and she treated me like I was someone she knew for years suggesting great food options and conversation. She preps for her night making sure everything is fresh and ready for her guests. Taking pride in her drinks and it shows!

    Food was awesome & service also great. The only issue was that the day I went to the location their credit/debit system was down so we had to pay cash which limited us on the spending. The waitress did say there was an ATM near by but I dont trust all ATMs.

    I went last night for happy hour they have 2X1 Sushi Mondays, I had an amazing time let me put yall on the food was top tier delicious fresh sushi 🍣 ! The drinks were strong and the service was on point. The Manager Chaina is the best super friendly and attentive making everything run smooth. The Bartender was so attentive and makes delicious drinks ! they will be seeing me atleast once a week lol ! Loved it I absolutely recommend them go check them out ! Asap

    I recently dined at Sushi Mambo, and I had an excellent experience! The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi rolls were creative. Would definitely recommend to try the Tres Golpe roll.The service was top-notch as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience; it was vibrant and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a dinner out.

    Excellent food excellent atmosphere. Came with my mom and my best friend. We all left feeling very happy very full and satisfied. Marciel is an angel definitely coming back with all my friends.

    Tasty 🍣 sushi, great creative fusion delicious rolls, and nice ambiance. The ceviche was delicious! Only negative is there can be people next to you on Hookah while you eat. We went early enough (7pm) where it didnt become an issue but it is worth mentioning.

    Such a vibe the food was excellent the people were so kind and attentive, would definitely return we had the shrimp mofonguitos , miso soup, shrimp tempura and the spring rolls all of which were so bomb the mofongo my personal favorite so flavorful so bomb for sushi we had the 3 golpes, la ula I believe its called and the sushi mambo special so flavorful and filling , if your ever in the area i would definitely recommend stopping by! 🤍

    Ive been coming here for years. Service is always fast and food is delicious. Anthony helped accomodate me and my family to a section of the restaurant with less noise from the music and I really appreciate that. Just keep in mind, this place is NOT wheelchair accessible

    I hosted my gender reveal brunch here. I had a huge party of 18 guests, and the staff accommodated us, with children and everything. The servers, host, and even service people were so gracious of our entire party, and so accommodating. I’ve been a guest here before, and already knew the food would be worth it, but the service I experienced for my event, was nothing short of amazing. … and to add the food was great!

    The Staff is very nice, pleasant. Happy to assist, they seem attentive and willing no matter what we asked. The happy hour is not really much of a happy hour but the food was good. I can actually say it was Very good i had the shrimp curry with mash potatoes. The Blue Moon were nice cold but the Stellas werent. So use your judgment. However, the mojitos were on point.     Came here for the first time on my birthday with my son , husband and mom . It was really nice and clean. The lady waitress was extremely nice and attentive. She gave us suggestions of what to order . My mom end up ordering what she suggested and she loved it . Also the drink were delicious !! I drank a coconut mojito and my mom has a sangria . Over all we had a very chill nice day and I definitely recommend this place

    First time eating an fusion between Japanese and Dominican. The tuna tartare was yummy and the sushi Latin Lover was really good. Please ask for the Passion Fruit and Tamarin Margaritas! Thank you to Mr. Joseph who was kind, respectful and provided a 5 start service.

    Im a chef and I have super high standards with food and thoughtfulness on every single dish. I have to say this is the best and most delicious sushi place Ive been to. The service was amazing (bar by Jose Luis) and so was the food. I drove 1 hour and 20 minutes to try it and Id do the drive again for this type of food

    INCREDIBLE!!! we were in NY for the weekend craving for a good food, we found this amazing place that offers japanese-Dominican fusion! Joseph was super helpful and we were delighted with all the recommendations, we ordered Latin Lover Roll (must), Salmon Sashimi and Tuna Tartare, Everything was perfectly (temperature, attention and atmosphere) and the Tamarindo and Passionfruit margarita are going to blow your mind as did with ours! highly recommended!

    Good vibes at this restaurant. The DJ was good. The staff were attentive to us a party of 9. The food was good just felt like some of the plate serving were on the smaller side. Drinks were definitely on point we all loved that happy hour drinks were all night long. Overall we all had a great time. I wouldnt mind going back to try the more asian dishes.

    Had a sister day with one of my Best friends... We drove from Brooklyn. The restaurant popped up on my news feed on Instagram..     Out of the way but worth the search. The wait staff was very friendly and gave us great suggestions since it was our first time there. The food was amazing. I was intrigued by the idea of combining sushi and plantains and was ready to be disappointed. Now, I dont know why no one thought of this before. The Chef married these two cultures of food in a way that ensures an everlasting romance. Love, love, love.

    This place is awesome.I will start with the not so good (it wasnt bad) but here I go. We celebrated my nephew 22nd birthday dinner at Sushi Mambo on 6/5/this restaurant was referred to us by a family member that ate at Sushi mambo; So I decided to give it a try. When I first contacted the restaurant to book the reservations the person in charge of booking large groups, her name is Vanessa she was not very pleasant or accommodating, she was a tad difficult to work with. I decided to go in person and was greeted by a young man name Anthony, (woooow am I glad I did). Anthony answered all my questions gave me a walkthrough of the restaurant and made me feel at ease; he reassure me that our dinner party was going to be wonderful (he made sure of that). The day of the party arrived and all of the staff worked in collaboration including Vanessa although she was difficult to work with over the phone in person she made sure things were done. Anthony printed personalized menu for our dinner, the food and drinks were great. Because our group was a bit large I requested outside seating and they made it possible. The restaurant followed Covid precautions (extra thumbs up for that). A BIG SHOUT-OUT to ANTHONY wooow this guy deserves the best he is personable, understanding and so easy to work with he is just superb. He went the extra mile just to make sure that everything was beyond perfect. Thank you Anthony, thank you Damian and thank you to all the staff at Sushi Mambo for making my nephews dinner celebration a memorable one.

    The only time I love coming here is when Antony is working, he is swift sweet and always has good energy for his customers. The food is delicious and Antony makes the best drinks. There have been days when he is doing it all and thats when everything feels right, even though it seems like a lot he makes it look easy!     Attended for a friends birthday. Service was great, very friendly staff and they were very attentive to our group of 11. Spanish and english speaking staff. Food was really good, we tried a bit of everything. Decor and nice as well but nothing really asian about it. Music was pretty much different genres of Spanish music for the hours we were there which was fine. They do offer hookah as well. Alcoholic drinks were very tasty. The only issue we had was that it was very cold inside and we asked them to put the heat on a couple times but they didnt and the tables are metal so that didnt help much either. Some of us had to keep our coats on. The pics one is of the Chicken Teriyaki Bento box which was mine and pretty good and filling for the price. The tall glass drink is a Passion fruit Mojito very well made and tasty. Wouldve gave it a 5 of they had some kind of heat inside. Good spot for groups or couples or solo. Cool chill spot.

    Sushi mambo is a dope spot, I always come here for take out or dine in when I need a quick bite or chill evening. I love the sushi cause it’s not just any kind of sushi.. it’s Dominican sushi!!     We saw the groupon deal at this place and jumped on the good deals. It is a great deal just be sure to read all of the fine print when using the groupon. You MUST first make a reservation, drinks are not included, and the tip and tax will be from the pre-discounted bill. Also, let them know when you arrive that you will be using the groupon.Overall the place had some good vibes. The music and lights were on point but we got there early and were thinking that it could get crazy loud later on at night. Would NOT recommend for a first date. The rolls we got were pretty funky, not-your-average sushi rolls. The Mambo #5 roll had fried cheese and bacon and ended up being our favorite roll of the night. And I cannot recommend the passion fruit tres leches enough.Recommend!

    We saw this restaurant on an Instagram page and decided to check it out. We were greeted and seated promptly. The ambience is very nice. Our server was RiRi . She was amazing and professional and catered to all our needs and questions . The food and drinks were superb. We were very impressed by the different options available. If you’re looking for something different, this is the place to try ! We already told our friends and family about it and we will be visiting again soon!
