    Went to have a sit down pizza experience. Service took a little longer than expected when the place was near empty. Had to get up and ask staff for something as our server didn’t check in after the food was delivered. With a million and one pizza places in New York, this isn’t one I’d be going back to. Arancini appetizer was delicious and did have a really fun Shirley Temple to drink.

    We came here for a late lunch on July 4th. The staff was so friendly! I ordered a personal pizza to share with my sister along with a salad. Everything tasted so good!! I ordered an iced tea, an since it was unsweet tea, he even provided us a jar of simple syrup if we needed it. So nice!

    Great pizza spot! They have multiple sizes of pizza if you’re alone! They are a good size and it’s a perfect amount.Beer is decently priced, appetizers were a little pricey but they looked really good.Highly suggest if you like thing crust, crunchy dough on your Za.

    We enjoy this spot every time we are in NYC. I recommend having a reservation for a dinner seating, as it becomes crowded. The pizza is amazing, but the pasta, salads and desserts are also great. Good value for the price and the service was good.

    Just had an amazing time there! We went there around the happy hour and we got a great deal of a pint of beer and a pizza. The beer was very good and the pizza delicious! The staff was super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

    This restaurant Tappo is such an exciting place to eat at when youre in the Chelsea area in NYC, Our waiter was prompt professional & courteous, If you like eggplant you will love theirs it was delicious, the homemade lasagna was also delicious instead of ground beef it was little chunks of tender sirloin it was so delicious. I cannot say enough about how courteous our waiter was, We told him that this was our first time in NYC and he gave us suggestions on how to ride the subway & things to do. I ordered the cheesecake to go and the waiter put napkins & a fork in the bag,

    I went here with 3 girlfriends and sat inside. Amazing pasta and atmosphere. The service was amazing, the staff was incredibly attentive and generous.The salad that came with the eggplant parm was delicious and the white wine was amazing.I highly recommend and can’t wait to go again.A huge thank you to our waiter who worried about our friend who wasn’t feeling well and was incredibly generous.

    I loved the pizza here. They had a couple of nice craft brews on tap. I stayed a long time talking with other people I met at the bar, and it was a great night. I felt very comfortable here as a solo female traveler, and would definitely come back.

    This is my favorite place pizza place in New York city. (And I am a native New Yorker who has eaten at all the best pizzerias) My wife and I always order the same thing: large pizza, half shroomtown and half Parma. It’s extraordinarily delicious!     We were looking for thin crust pizza in NoMad and we luckily found Tappo. Their cracker crust pizza was one of the best pizzas we have had in years. We will be returning on our next trip. Staff were all very nice.

    Our 1st time to NYC & this was our 1st place to eat. The atmosphere & service were great - we even sat outside & enjoyed the weather. We were there for Happy Hour in which we got a $30 pitcher of Stella beer & with that purchase received a free large thin cheese pizza that we added pepperoni to. Not what we had been expecting for NY pizza - we were disappointed.

    We tried Tappo NYC Thin Crust at the recommendation of a friend.The pizza had a wonderfully crunchy base, and we loved the half roasted garlic and half Salsiccia Dolce—sweet Italian sausage, caramelized onions, and fresh basil were a perfect combo. The service was quick and friendly, which was great since we were in a rush to catch a show. Highly recommend!

    Exceptional thin crust pizza. Truly one of the best I’ve had in my life. You can tell they use real, fresh ingredients and prepare everything with love. The Margherita/Classica pizza was amazing. I think it’s closer to Italian pizza than New York style, so just consider that. The only thing was the Caesar salad was disappointing, but the Arancini was amazing. Just an overall great place for thin crust pizza. Not too expensive either: $25 for a large Margherita and it’s well worth it.

    AMAZING!! We did the half mushroom and half meat lovers pizza and meat lasagna. The crust is outstanding, the mushroom pizza with truffle oil is incredible, the meat lovers is delicious, and the lasagna with sour Doug drizzled with truffle oil is delectable!!! Definitely worth the visit.

    The pizza was SO good, the salad was fresh, the pasta and calamari were great too! Don’t forget the cheesecake! The service was friendly, welcoming and we walked right in as we went early but it filled up fast. We watched them accommodate a large group of 14 along with our little group of 2.

    Really nice place. We only had Pizza and Beer. We were able to sit outside which really made the atmosphere better. The pizzas where as the name of the restaurant suggests and tasted good, especially the meatball classic. But the beer was even better. It was the best Beer i have drank in the one week i had visiting the USA, so we took 2 pitchers of Stella for 3 people :D. The waiter was also very good. Being helpful, funny but not annoying. So this was in all criteria for me a great restaurant and we had a great evening there.

    Very slow service (took longer than 2 hours even though we ordered all items at the same time - as soon as we sat). Good pizza and apps (burrata, bruschetta, garlic bread) but the desserts were odd. The tiramisu had caramel and was more of a cake, and the brownie sundae didnt have a brownie (it had like very few brownie crumbles) and came with chocolate ice cream (which wasnt described in the menu).

    My grandson and I enjoyed the margherita pizza, it was perfect. Nice bar selection, I ordered a Baileys. Our server was a very pleasant young lady, I cant recall her name. We ate inside but they had outside dining. It wasnt too loud with overwhelming music and we sat in a booth. Good prices.

    I loved my experience at Tappo Thin Crust.I came for a late lunch. The value of the lunch menu (11:30-3:30) is fantastic. The pizza is delicious. The waiter was helpful and friendly.I can’t say enough about it.I am only in NYC for three days but I will be back on this trip !!

    We arrived without a booking and were kindly fitted in to a table near the door even though they were very busy! I had the personal ‘el greco’ pizza which was plenty for me. The sharing pizzas were bigger than any pizzas I’ve ever seen. Lovely thin based pizza, very tasty. Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely spot for food that isn’t a ridiculous price like a lot of NYC. Families were dining and the children were having fun and happy. Would recommend for a no fuss tasty pizza experience at a reasonable cost.

    Excellent location for group of workers to dine in for some pizzas. They have large and personal size pizzas, with lots of different kinds and styles of pizzas. You can also order customized pizzaz. They have lunch menu that Includes sandwich and pasta as well.I got to try the Milanesa and chickpotle. Loved the chicken and pineapple combo in chickpotle. Milanesa was also good, had to get some marinara sauce to get to finish line. I liked that these pizzas had thin crust. The chicken in both pizzas could have been more fresh and seasoned. It was too washed for me.It takes little time for the food to come out, as they make pizzas from scratch. There’s a wonderful smell of baked pizza around and inside the restaurant. They also have a nice big bar here too. I’ll certainly come back to try some of there other items.

    Most amazing pizza I have ever had. I could literally taste the garden. All fresh ingredients used in each individual pizza. This is the only place I can eat tomatoes and enjoy them. I absolutely hate tomatoes but here they taste so fresh. They have amazing herbs. It taste like they just picked the ingredients. Next time I come to new York Ill be sure to come here again. Oh oh also the owner of the shop is just how you would imagined. I absolutely loved the experience :)

    Loved my Gluten free pizza. It was DELISH! I also think its excellent that the ingredients of the GF crust are included on the menu. Given all of the food allergies that people have, its the best practice! Also had the beet/arugula/goat cheese saled (without the pistachios) and it was SO GOOD!!     Oh Tappo, how do I love you, let me count the ways. Fantastic thin crust pizza—the plain cheese is delicious but so are the more deluxe options. The shroomtown is especially good. Their happy hour deals are unbelievable, especially for the area. Go on a Monday and double up on pitchers of beer or bottles of wine in a fantastic atmosphere all night! Staff is lovely, it rarely gets too crowded, and did I mention the pizza?? Very highly recommended.

    Came here on a Wednesday night wanted something simple and figured try a new pizza place. The staff was quick and friendly and we got seated right away. The hardest part of going through the menu was trying to pick which one but I chose the trees fuegos which had spicy chorizo and shrimp. Loved it! My wife had the mushroom option which while tasty was too much mushroom for her. We also got great garlic bread with cheese as an appetizer which was awesome. Great time and great sorry thanks.

    Free pizza with a bottle of wine. Bottles of wine are cheap. Done deal. Sandwiches and pastas are decent. Pizzas are good though. Stick to pizza. In fact, just stick to the aforementioned deal. Also brunch is pretty great. Get anything with millionaire bacon on it. I have been to two of the other restaurants owned by these people, and this one is my favorite. They have way, way better deals, happy hour stuff, brunch, etc. And its less crowded. And one of the other ones also sold something with millionaire bacon on it but it was basically regular bacon. At Tappo it is a big fat slab that enhances any sandwich or brunch item.

    If you love thin crust make the pilgramage to this place. Best think crust pizza Ive had!! At my office they always order from here. But I also enjoy going to the actual pizzeria .     My place of employment always orders the pizza from here bc it’s really delicious. I’ve had lunch there now a few times and am always satisfied w/the food and service.     Really thin pizza...like REALLY thin. Often thin is synonymous with floppy but they really nailed it here. Malleable enough to get a New York fold but with a hard crack down the middle. Theres also a decent daily happy hour deal here from 3:30 to 6:30 where you can get a pizza for free with a bottle of wine. Highly recommend if thin crust is what youre looking for!
