Came for restaurant week dinner and was the best choice ever! the dining room is tucked inside the beautiful bar area connected to Beeckman hotel. Sets the tone for a celebratory night, stained glass walls, high ceiling, candles, comfy sofas… course started with gazpacho followed by an appetizer, main was pork chop with cabbage and fig compote, topped it off with a pistachio chocolate tart and peanut butter cake. everything was perfect! The staff were very attentive and kind. highly recommend!!

A very unique place, first you visit their lounge filled with great vibe, good music and decorated place. Then getting into the fine dining restaurant amazing decor, lighting and table set.The food was very delicious, flavorful, the fish was absolutely amazing.Service was polite, and personal.

Right now, the rooftop of the Beekman hotel makes for a beautiful venue above the NY downtown streets. Service is excellent, and the menu is divine. Cant wait until we come back for more!Update: returned a couple of years later and ate inside Temple Court. It is a top notch establishment, where the staff anticipate your needs and are attentive. We enjoyed the caviar and steak and fish. Desserts were also delicious!

  • Review 6 (2024-06-23 - Rating: 5)

One of the most beautiful restaurants in the city! Good for date, small group of friends, or family. The food is good but traditional, most of dishes are large, good for share!

  • Review 7 (2024-02-02 - Rating: 5)

Perfect 3-course restaurant week menu - sumptuous selections, well related and presented gourmet dishes, extremely reasonable pricing ($60).Service was impeccable.Ambience is always impressive - the temple.

  • Review 8 (2024-04-10 - Rating: 5)

What a marvelous delight. I felt as if I had slipped into a secret moment of time. Stopped by for a glass of wine at the bar after walking the Brooklyn Bridge. The Beekman Hotel is marvelous and it’s an absolutely beautiful setting including the restaurant and bar. Great for a special occasion or just to meet friends or stop by the bar alone.

  • Review 9 (2024-11-17 - Rating: 5)

I had brunch here as part of my stay The food / service / ambiance are so wonderful that I have to come for dinner ( even with so many restaurants on my to-eat list) I have dined around the world the food here is solid. You won’t be disappointed. Manager (Gog) asked every table if everything is well and he showed genuine professionalism. I also happened to meet the GM. He is also so nice.I didn’t get my server’s name but she was lovely. They all work so hard and well. Will be back again and again

  • Review 10 (2024-02-17 - Rating: 5)

This place feels so exclusive and classy, we loved it! The comfortable chairs and environment are great for enjoying time with friends and family, but also to have a romantic meal. Service is outstanding, the food was delicious, and pretty much everything about it makes it worthwhile. Well be back for sure! 5*

  • Review 11 (2024-01-18 - Rating: 5)

Great price to portion ratio, food was great, service was the highlight! We went for my boyfriend’s birthday and they brought complimentary bubbles and a handwritten card from the staff! So sweet! It was a beautiful, intimate atmosphere but not stuffy at all. Drinks were 10/10 too. Would def come back❤️

  • Review 12 (2023-02-26 - Rating: 5)

Curated dishes, wonderful atmosphere and attention to detail. This is what our experience was like for dinner at Temple Court. The use of spices and preparation just made each dish special. From the Lobster salad, crab fondue, perfectly roasted chicken, the best roasted cauliflower and carrots to desserts, all are a must! The decor was picture worthy and the seating was very comfortable.

  • Review 13 (2024-05-20 - Rating: 5)

Was bummed to find out the old bar manager left- but WOW. First off: Beautiful location with great food and incredible staff. Peter behind the bar made us incredible drinks and the floor Manager Sean made us feel extremely attended to while he trained a new waitress. Would definitely recommend the bone marrow and cookies and crème semifredo.

  • Review 14 (2023-06-01 - Rating: 5)

This restaurant is exceptional. A beautiful place to get a nice high end meal. The dinner started with a complimentary bite of albacore on a spoon that was extremely fresh. We had oysters 3 each that were briney and tasted like the Ocean. Our starter of the sweet pea soup with lobster was so unique and the taste of sweet pea came through in every bite. For our main courses we shared the soft shell crab and wagu beef with greens which were all exceptional. To end the meal we had dessert which was filo pastry with blueberries and olive oil cake with chocolate. They have a tasting many which we didn’t do but I might venture to do it next time.

  • Review 15 (2022-08-05 - Rating: 5)

Highly recommended. As a fan of Tom Colicchio, as expected, the food and flavors are fantastic and memorable! Bonus: visit during restaurant week with a broad menu to satisfy all cravings. As the first to be seated for dinner, we enjoyed professional and attentive service. The ambiance and dining room is unique, upscale and spacious. I enjoyed the octopus, pork chop w peaches and the lemon tart. Oh and the bread roll was very tasty too. Such an enjoyable experience. Make a reservation and enjoy!

  • Review 16 (2024-06-06 - Rating: 5)

A dark, cozy bar lounge. Perfect for a nightcap or a bite to eat. We ordered room service earlier but enjoyed the bar for late night drinks. Pet friendly if you can believe too! A classy, classy scene! Must make a stop in you won’t regret it! Negroni was excellent as was espresso martini

  • Review 17 (2023-05-14 - Rating: 5)

We stopped here for drinks. We didn’t make any reservations, so we set at the bar. We took steak tartare and onion dip. They were out of this world. Highly recommend. The cocktails were also fantastic: 6 pm in Osaka, Penicillin, and Beekman Vesper. Would definitely come back.

  • Review 18 (2023-11-07 - Rating: 5)

My experience here was exceptional. I love the ambiance, top notch service and the food very much.We were able to find a table easily on a Saturday night, when it was really busy, and we encountered a friendly host and an incredibly attentive service. Needless to say, the interior design is like a work of art.Hope to come back soon

  • Review 19 (2022-05-26 - Rating: 5)

Fresh seafood, creative taste, we switch out potato purée with charred spinach in the steak, with balsamic onion on top, the steak tasted like a nice layered flavors, between salty, savory with a hint of sweetness, a bit sour, quite a food adventure! And the ceiling view with hotel floors is magnificent. Love the wine and cocktail too

  • Review 20 (2023-02-16 - Rating: 4)

My boyfriend and I came here for Valentines Day last night. We had a 9PM reservation and they sat us right away. Our seats werent ideal, they put us extremely close to the table next to us. Every time they needed to get up they would physically have to move our table to get through. We sat side by side in a corner booth and my side of the couch had been worn out so I was extremely low; I folded up my jacket and sat on it to give me a boost. It also happened to be our anniversary so the waiter gave us a card with staff signatures that said Happy Anniversary, very thoughtful. They also gave each table one long stem red rose, which I kept!Dinner began with an amuse-bouche of Oysters; we also got bread/butter and started off with two glasses of Chardonnay. Oysters are not my thing but my bf ate both of them and he said they were great. The menu was pre-fixed so we got to have a 4 course dinner for $175.00. There were 3 choices for the first 3 courses and 2 options for dessert. For our first course we started with the Big Eye Tuna Tartare and Ossetra Caviar. The tuna had great flavor, it had apples and a sort of citrus taste. I just wish they served it with rice crackers or something instead of nothing. The caviar was fresh, the presentation was also very nice but I wish they used something other than the potato chips. The chips were very salty and so was the caviar itself, so there was a lot of salty flavor happening. For our second course we both had the chestnut agnolotti with black truffle and Brussel sprouts and WOW. SOOOO GOOD. Wish there was more on the plate so we both could have eaten another round. For our main course we had the Wagyu Sirloin and the Diver Scallops. My steak was cooked medium, super soft, and had great flavor. Loved the creamed spinach on the bottom, the sauce and the wood mushrooms on top. The scallops were also very good, especially combined with the cabbage and black truffle vinaigrette. For dessert we got the Baked Alaska and the Mille-feuille. The baked Alaska was great; it was chocolate cake with passionfruit caramel & banana ice cream. The mille-feuille had blood orange and vanilla ice cream wasnt my favorite. Over the two the baked Alaska was definitely better. In the end, it was a great dinner experience. The atmosphere was very nice, I loved the decor/vibe of the bar/dining area. We didnt really see much of our waiter only in the beginning to take our order and just once/twice to refill our water. Our favorites were the agnolotti, wagyu sirloin, and the scallops. If we ever come back that would be my order!

Doing a lunch meetup with my girlfriends near work, she went to the restaurant next door saw this place and recommended. Great choice of this place, great food with the prices & services provided. $32 for 2 course lunch or $39 for 3 course lunch. They have a great selection to choose. Three of us and picked 3 appetizers, 3 entrees & 3 desserts to share. The food are delicious and great atmosphere for meetup or business meeting.

  • Review 22 (2021-03-26 - Rating: 5)

I had my birthday dinner here tonight and the staff made everything feel much more special. By graciously offering to take pictures for us and letting us take our time and enjoy our night out. The food was spectacular. I would like to mention both choices of scallop tartare and lobster on the pre-fixe was absolutely delightful.

  • Review 23 (2020-10-09 - Rating: 5)

My wife and I had an excellent dinner on the rooftop here. The setting is beautiful, our wait staff was helpful and attentive. The offering on the roof is a three course prefix menu. My wife is a vegetarian and the more then happy to accommodate her with their prefix options. We added the optional wine pairing, three glasses, one with each course. I had a octopus starter with a cod main course and millefeuille dessert. Every thing was delicious! All and all a great spot.

  • Review 24 (2019-08-31 - Rating: 5)

We were there for our anniversary and I want to thank the staff for making it special. We got a special menu that was signed by Tom and the staff! The food was also amazing. The octopus was cooked perfectly, the steak was unbelievable, the scallops were cooked evenly, and the pork belly melted in my mouth. The food was well seasoned but not over seasoned. It was a memorable experience overall. The watermelon sorbet with jalapeno peppers and sea salt doesnt sound like it should work and it was interesting. It was my fav but it was still an explosion in my mouth. Please try the food here for a culinary adventure. Also dont forget to check out the atrium. Its pretty cool.

Brunch on a Sunday, walked in no wait. Very cool environment, old library feel with deep arm chairs & a long bar. The avocado toast needed salt & there was none on the table & the waitress never came to check on us till we were finished

  • Review 27 (2022-06-17 - Rating: 4)

Went here for my birthday dinner. Food was good. Cacio e pepe white asparagus was a special dish. Entrees didnt blow us away but were good (duck and salmon). Crispy potatoes were good. Service was interesting - didnt order entrees until after we ate apps, and it was hard to get their attention.Beautiful space, but prob wont be back given the price point and other options.

  • Review 28 (2019-04-01 - Rating: 5)

Such a gorgeous place! Service and food were incredible. I love the moody vibe and noise level was just right. Great place to bring a date or anyone you wish to impress. Its a bit expensive, so if its not in your budget, you can still grab a drink.

  • Review 30 (2019-08-10 - Rating: 5)

Our third time breakfasting at the Temple Court, and everything was good. Excellent service, adequate menu choices, and delicious food. This time around, we ordered a CROQUE MADAME, and we fully enjoyed it, just the right portion size and seasonal ingredients. We would most certainly recommend the Temple Court.

  • Review 31 (2018-09-24 - Rating: 5)

It’s a very intimate place with live jazz music on Sunday during the brunch. They have a very upscale design and furniture. The meals are large, but you pay for the interior and more space between tables. Brunch menu has a lot of egg based meals. The steak comes in a form of burger.

  • Review 32 (2024-08-07 - Rating: 5)

Resturant week dinner in a raining Tuesday night. The whole dining experience is very unique. Excellent dishes and service attentive. I think I’m gonna get the chef’s new book coming up, recommend to everyone.

  • Review 35 (2022-05-07 - Rating: 5)

A++ on the atmosphere. A- on the food. The food was good for sure, it’s just that the flavors felt a bit weird with each other. But the food was fresh and good.

  • Review 36 (2021-11-09 - Rating: 4)

Love the place, awesome decor, cool furniture, Edgar Allen poe on the wall, one of the best lounges to have drinks with friends. The food is ok, the service needs some work, its slow.

  • Review 37 (2018-07-26 - Rating: 5)

Omg!! I had my eye on this place for a while and it wasn’t until a friend’s birthday that I actually got to go!The venue is hauntingly beautiful with a larger than life Poe portrait glaring at you all night. The drinks taste like absolute magic potions and the deserts are delectable. Perfect ambiance if you’re REALLY trying to impress a date. Highly recommend.

  • Review 38 (2019-08-17 - Rating: 5)

What a beautiful bar. The large green and copper chairs are just amazing to enjoy a few drink is. The main bartender there really knows what hes doing and delivers the drinks with ease.Go via the list for a new experience you will not be disappointed.

  • Review 39 (2024-08-10 - Rating: 4)

Best thing about this place is definitely the ambiance. Would come back just cause everything looks amazing! The ricotta agnolottis were stunning, the salmon was just ok and the duck was very good. Chocolate pistachio tart for dessert killed, but the pavlova didn’t. Overall very pleasant dining experience, great wine and cocktail selection too. Shout out to the amazing servers!

  • Review 40 (2023-03-25 - Rating: 5)

Very swanky, sexy cocktail bar with delightful architecture and an elegant setting. The cocktails were delicious and carefully crafted.

  • Review 41 (2021-11-06 - Rating: 4)

My first time here on a Saturday at 5PM, I did not sit at the bar. The vibe here is chilled. Comes off a bit swanky, a bit snobby, but the folks that work here were friendly and patient. The interior lends itself to something from the 50s but thats the whole motif for the hotel within which the bar resides. I didnt try any food but from what I saw, it looked good. The Bar Room kind of reminds me of Nomad but not as crowded given these COVID times. Things picked up by six though.G Taylor, a Glenmorangie whiskey drink, was good and ginger - any red head would love it. I was curious about their other signatures but got a Paper Plane and was pleasantly surprised at how well they masked the alcohol.

  • Review 42 (2024-09-14 - Rating: 4)

Tried their restaurant week menu. Great food and vibe.

  • Review 43 (2023-10-17 - Rating: 4)

This review is long over due (pre-covid). After getting married at City Hall we decided to have a small family dinner at Temple Court to celebrate (which turned into 15+ people) and stay at the Beekman Hotel before leaving on our honeymoon. There are not enough adjectives to describe the excellent service and experience the staff at Temple Court and The Beekman provided on our special day. The menu which Temple Court had to prepare specific due to the size of our party was beyond delicious and unique. Even my very picky mother-in-law ate every morsel!! The cocktail and wine menus are amazing. The best dinner I have ever had! We cant thank the staff at Temple Court and The Beekman enough for their exceptional service. They truly went above and beyond our expectations. We will be back to both Temple Court and The Beekman to celebrate future anniversaries. Please make note we dined at Temple Court and stayed as guest overnight at the Beekman. Our stay was on a weekday and very low traffic day. We were able to take amazing photos while respecting the other guests and hotel policies. Both the hotel and restaurant make the rules easy to follow.Thank you so much Temple Court and The Beekman!! Cant wait to dine and stay again!!

  • Review 45 (2022-05-07 - Rating: 4)

This restaurant made my most beautiful restaurants list for sure. The decor is worth the visit. Overall I would recommend this place despite the $$$$ check. We got unlucky with the waiter but it was evident that the other waiters were on point. One waiter took 5 pics of us when we asked for “ a “ pic. This is easily a 5 star with the right waiter.

  • Review 47 (2019-08-15 - Rating: 5)

Incredible food. Impressive portions. All the vegetables were fresh. Especially the use of tomatoes throughout many of the dishes, created many complex flavors.

  • Review 48 (2020-02-12 - Rating: 4)

Look up and lose yourself in history. Yes thats what you could do when you get there. room is in one of the iconic building in NYC. They have roomy sections, they could accommodate 10 of us in the same area so we could do a small after work hours gathering. Although it was packed it was not as noisy. Its a cool place to go.

Excellent! Temple Court at The Beekman is a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance and decor are second to none in New York City. Its elegant, unique, and full of history. Moreover, the taste, quality, and execution of all the dishes were superb. Overall, a fantastic experience and Ill be sure to return.

  • Review 54 (2022-10-05 - Rating: 5)

Delicious cocktails & impeccable decor. Daniel the bartender was personable and knowledgeable— he gave a great recommendation of the espresso martini and the Hayao Miyazaki. We got the Onion Dip as an appetizer and it was very flavorful & a little on the sweet side due to the caramelized onions. The space is gorgeous and even on a gloomy day it felt cozy.

  • Review 55 (2019-07-06 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic service in a romantic setting. The eggs Benedict (with white fish) was unique and perfectly prepared. Two very minor issues were that my cappuccino was more of a latte and the fruit bowl included some sort of topping I would have preferred to have been aware of before ordering.

  • Review 63 (2022-10-27 - Rating: 5)

All good - food, drinks, service. Just wish they were more transparent about tips. They are adding 10% Covid-19 surtax plus taxes and the traditional 20% on top of all that. We are all struggling in this crisis. Adding the surtax is okay. I mean, we understand. But adding the tip on the top of taxes + surtax is a bit too much. You have nice bar and don’t need to use those “tier 2” tricks for few extra bucks.Returned some other times and they keep adding 20% to the total bill including tax.

Ive wanted to come here for the longest time.Since we had an event downtown, I decided to get us a reservation afterwards. Thanks to AMEX, I requested to sit under the atrium overlooking the inside of the hotel floors, while theres never a guarantee I appreciate they were able to accommodate the great views and seat us so quickly upon arriving! It was a really busy night too!We ordered two rounds of drinks, no food, although it looked and smelled wonderful. We walked around the inside after closing out our tab.Its a really unique experience, beautiful place and great atmosphere!(See Photos section for pictures)

  • Review 69 (2021-12-14 - Rating: 5)

What a fantastic dinner we had here. We were staying here for the night, honestly mostly because we heard Tom Colicchios restaurant was onsite. Temple Court has a wonderfully balanced menu, there is something for everyone here. Pictured here was the Mushroom A La Creque appetizer that was good enough to be a main course. Very nice, we ate way too much, the service was top notch, and we loved every minute.

Last Friday my wife and I went to Temple Court to celebrate one more month together and our server Monica gave us the greatest experience, we had a lovely time with her and learned so much about the dishes. The food and the drinks were fantastic. Afterwards we ended up our night at the Bar Room and had some dessert, our server Jeff also gave us an excellent service and we couldn’t be more grateful! Really recommend the chicken

  • Review 72 (2024-05-26 - Rating: 5)

I spent FAR too much time researching fine dining options for our wedding anniversary. We really love to do tasting menus, but between the investment and the decor/vibe, I just couldnt find the perfect restaurant to go this year. I finally found Temple Court when I searched something like, most romantic fine dining NYC. And look at that, loved seeing that Temple Court was not only much more my vibe, but they had a menu that looked worth the cost and that the founder was the founder of Gramercy Tavern (which we love), Craft, etc.Can I tell you what a perfect anniversary date Temple Court created for us? This restaurant is SO our vibe! I adore the old world, romantic feel of it so it was perfect for our wedding anniversary dinner. Manny (Emanuel (sp?)) was a lovely, attentive, kind server. And the table they gave us was perfect with an L-shaped (velvet, if memory serves) bench so we could sit closer than across the table from each other. We loved everything we ate or drank (and we tried everything of each others):COCKTAILS:I had JESSICA PRESSLER (Select Aperitivo, subbed apricot Liqueur instead of fruit punch liqueur, Vanilla, Lemon, Sparkling Wine) and my husband had PABLO NERUDA (Cimarron Blanco Tequila, Catedreal de mi Padre Espadin Mezcal, Dolin Dry Vermouth, Pomegranate, Habanero, Lime)1st COURSE: I had CHILLED MAINE LOBSTER - Asparagus, Black Truffle Vinaigrette & Crispy Soft-Boiled Egg), husband had GRILLED QUAIL - Porcini, Asparagus & Black Garlic. They were very different from each other -- the lobster very bright and summery, Quail the opposite. I loved both, but the quail wins if I had to pick. Chefs kiss.ENTREE:I had: ROASTED ROHAN DUCK BREAST - Confit Leg, Rhubarb, Ramps & Sea Island Red Peas (paired with LANGHE NEBBIOLO, Broccardo, Il GioPi, 2020, Piedmont, Italy) -- the very first taste I got a bit too much rhubarb/sweet and thought, Oh no, what have I done, but was so relieved and delighted when I continued eating and got the bean mixture with the rhubarb and then it was perfectly balanced and delicious. There was a bit more fat on the duck than Id prefer, but thats what you get with duck and it was really, really good.Husband had: STUFFED RABBIT LOIN - Asparagus, Sugar Snap Peas & Farro Verde (paired with PINOT NOIR, Holloran, 2022, Willamette Valley, OR). He also added the sauteed greens w/ garlic & lemon. I liked the duck a lot better than the rabbit, but my husband was very happy with his. He called his subtle in a way he liked.DESSERT:I had the LEMON MERINGUE PIE - Meyer Lemon Curd & Mandarin Mint Sorbet & my husband got PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE - Pineapple Ginger Caramel & French Vanilla Ice Cream (I liked mine better) -- we had a macchiato with dessert, also delicious. They wished us a happy anniversary multiple times and when we first arrived brought a Happy Anniversary card out signed by the whole staff.I thought the bathrooms were pretty, although the latch on one of the stalls was broken and another almost wouldnt work.If you go, be sure to walk through the bar and look up through the atrium/multiple floors of hotel rooms. We enjoyed walking through the hotel lobby (love the velvet armchairs) and seeing the model of the hotel. If youre interested, ask the host/ess to give you a pamphlet that tells the history of the Beekman Hotel. Reading this, we learned that it has a cool literary and theater history -- Edgar Allan Poe lived at the Beekman Hotel and this building used to also house a theater in which Hamlet got its first NYC production. No wonder this felt like a fortuitous fit for us, given our family of writers, actors, creative types. Were Temple Courts newest fans!

Ambience, service food are all excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. We went there twice in a week👍

In the Beekman Hotel next to the hotel bar, which includes a fantastic mezzanine. The staff were attentive to every detail (ensuring the table was stable, replacing a blunt knife, topping up my wine glass). The chefs name is on the menu, and deservedly so. The staff are well turned out and not too stand-offish. One gave me a double thumbs up when asking if the meal was ok. This is a restaurant to celebrate a special event, a treat. I felt looked after during my meal here.As with most US restaurants, there was no obvious place to hang your coat. Most guests draped them on the back of their chair or laid them on the bench beside them.

  • Review 76 (2024-04-07 - Rating: 5)

Breakfast was phenomenal. I recommend the fresh juices (I had the lemon, apple, ginger) delicious! And the eggs were perfection.

  • Review 77 (2023-12-22 - Rating: 4)

Wonderful food, gorgeous location worth lingering in with good company. Lovely jazz brunch on Sunday (occasion visited)Service staff seemed to be a bit over stretched for the number of guests in the main and adjacent rooms. My strong sense is that outside of Sunday brunch, a typically busy and chaotic meal period, is that the service would be much better. All in the historic Beakman Hotel which is worth a gander.

  • Review 78 (2023-12-05 - Rating: 5)

Ive been here for dinner a few times before. But this visit was unplanned. I was showing the area to a friend visiting from Rome. We happened to pass by the place on our way to the Brooklyn Bridge. I decided to stop by for a cappuccino. Our visit was outstanding, marked by a delightful atmosphere, impeccable service, and a delicious cappuccino. Securing a table on a calm Tuesday brunch time was effortless, and we received a warm welcome from Andrea, our friendly host. I highly appreciate the warm hospitality even if we were only having coffee (some places like this require more than just ordering a beverage). The interior design is akin to a masterpiece. Eagerly anticipating my next visit... which is in a few days - for dinner with other friends!

  • Review 80 (2019-09-25 - Rating: 4)

Fun place to grab a drink with a small group of people. Gave it 4 stars as our waitress was not that friendly and seemed annoyed.

  • Review 81 (2023-12-24 - Rating: 5)

Everything about this place made it such an enjoyable experience. The live music gave it such a magical touch. The decorations and the architecture of the place are breathtaking. The onion dip came with potato chips which were crispy and flavorful. The brioche French toast was amazing. Just the right amount of sweet and everything felt so fresh and homemade. I would definitely give it a try.

  • Review 82 (2022-08-20 - Rating: 5)

The most elegant restaurant in the most inelegant location. The space is amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. We had the cod and the halibut with mussels no less, both perfectly prepared. Both deserts especially the buttermilk tart were unusual and very good.

  • Review 83 (2024-02-15 - Rating: 5)

What a treat! The roasted cod was absolutely divine, perfectly cooked and well-sauced in a surprisingly delicate way with a light curry. My compliments to the chef. Would definitely return for that dish. I also enjoyed the shishito peppers, nicely salted, charred, and soft. You can ask for the bagna cauda on the side (a relief since its not my favorite). All terrific paired with the Sancerre. Now between two desserts, the banana upside down cake was the clear winner — really well-made with a lovely melange of textures and a delightful butterscotch. In contrast, the mango cheesecake couldnt strike a balance between the saltiness of the crumble crust, the bracing tart acidity of the lime sorbet, and the heaviness of the cheesecake ingredients which overpowered the 🥭, which could really sing if given the opportunity...Lunch service at the bar was very attentive, prompt, and friendly. It was kind of the manager to stop by.

Stunning. Whether for a special occasion dinner or popping into the downstairs bar, this place is infused with wine ld world class paired with modern touches.

  • Review 85 (2024-10-07 - Rating: 5)

Atmosphere was amazing, such a cool building and architecture and all the interiors were in pristine condition. Service was amazing too. The waiter and bus boy were both so attentive and helpful. The food was very good, but not 5 stars and not in the same level as the atmosphere or the service.

  • Review 86 (2022-01-04 - Rating: 5)

My favorite place in Fidi to grab a cocktail. Its an upscale bar so expect to pay $20 per cocktail but the drinks and ambiance make it worth it.

  • Review 87 (2023-03-13 - Rating: 5)

Amazing!!! It’s so beautiful inside! Classic nyc. It’s for sure a spot you have to make sure you check out at some point. The food was amazing and the drinks were great. The staff is also exceptional and they did such a good job taking care of us.

  • Review 88 (2023-03-11 - Rating: 5)

We got an early reservation Friday evening. By 7ish, the dining room and the bar area were packed. Service is top notch. Plenty of help to provide service as anticipated and needed. The entrees are pretty good. Appetizers though pricey are fantastic. Good portion size to share and delicious in taste. Usually restaurants will serve the usual common place desserts that are too sweet or meh. Not here. Save room for the dessert. The ginger ice cream was my favorite.

  • Review 89 (2023-02-01 - Rating: 5)

Super friendly and generous restaurant. They never rush you to finish your meal. The restaurant is located inside the hotel and the bar is right next to it. I would definitely come back again

Delicious food in a beautiful and stylish place. The breakfast is so yummy, I recommend ordering a house made pastry, the croissant is so buttery and comes with butter and marmalade. At night the bar has great cocktail options.I was tempted to remove 1 star because the service is slow, we had to chase the servers to take our order or give us the check, but the food makes up for that.Recommended!

My partner and I came here for our 1 year anniversary at the beginning of August. Our waiter was SO KIND and nice. He was seriously the best and made our experience so memorable. The food was amazing but being treated so kindly was truly the highlight of the night. He took some photos of us that I’ll cherish forever. Thank you so much.

An experience you must try. The staff, the food, the ambiance, and the cocktails were all perfect.Their pre-fixe 4 course menu on paper made me think I was going to have to hit a greasy spoon joint afterwards, but it was timed and portioned perfectly. The $$$$ is accurate but the experience is definitely worth the money. We went for my wifes recent birthday and the entire staff made us feel welcome. Jose, our waiter, made sure we enjoyed ourselves and was very knowledgeable about the menu selection and company history.

  • Review 96 (2023-07-22 - Rating: 5)

We stopped by for a few cocktails. We didnt book a table in advance, so we set in the bar.I cant say anything about the food, since we didnt really try anything, we just ordered tartare and onion dip. Tartar was gorgeous. I highly recommend it.As for cocktails: 6pm in Osaka it’s the main highlight of the night. Penicillin and Beckman Vesper were also very good. Все что мы пробовали, было на очень высоком уровне.Well, it is impossible not to say about the chic interior of the restaurant and hotel. The ambience and the architecture are unique! The building wasnt one of the landmarks of 19th-century Manhattan for nothing.Definitely will be back to try their food.

  • Review 97 (2023-01-25 - Rating: 4)

Definitely a lively scene and worth checking out. The food was great, just a little to heavy for my taste. Would definitely come back but order some of the lighter dishes or eat at the bar restaurant vs the fine dining

  • Review 98 (2018-11-09 - Rating: 4)

The bar space is super cool and comfortable. Im not sure if it was because I was by myself at a busy time, but the service was not good. Ordered food and a drink from a table in the bar. Food came and waited for 10 minutes and finally had to ask a second time for the drink. The woman that took my order never came back, and a different person seemed to take over. Was tough getting attention of wait staff to order a second drink. But definitely a sweet design and vibe to the place.Update: since Im staying at the hotel I went back and this time went to the restaurant section for breakfast. Super delicious breakfast. But sadly, the service again was not the best. Had to try to track someone down to get a coffee refill and water refill. The space on the restaurant side is really beautiful and well done.

  • Review 100 (2023-03-28 - Rating: 4)

My guest and I had the tuna tartare and Spanish octopus for first course, and scallops, rabbit loin, fingerling potatoes, and creamed spinach for main course.our first course was perfection. we savored every bite of the tartare and octopus. the main course was very flavorful and close to perfection if not for 1 major flaw shared among them all... too much salt. I tend to be sensitive to salt content but my guest had the same critique so it may not have been only my sensitivity.but other than salt content, no complaints. very friendly staff. very chill lounge atmosphere with even comfy couches for some seating options.Id go back again but next time explicitly request less salt in my food

  • Review 101 (2023-04-29 - Rating: 4)

Great decor and food. I’ve been there a few times with different people. This time we were asked to leave with only a 5 minute notice which was a bit abrupt and not very smoothly executed. Aside from that, that’s still a spot I’d recommend.

Beekman breakfast which consist of 2 eggs 🥚 and choice of 🥓 or 🌭 cost $27. Smoke White fish with eggs Benedict also cost $27 and delicious. Presentation is excellent and friendly staff. As for dinner menu they have decent size and same friendly staff.

  • Review 113 (2023-02-02 - Rating: 4)

We ate in the bar room, beautiful atmosphere, comfortable relaxed seating, delicious food, nice cocktail list and great service. Buratta was not ice cold which was great and the sweetness of the pears and crunch of the nuts made for a perfect bite. Tartare was traditional and seasoned really well. Shishitos were perfectly blistered and steaming hot when served but were not my favorite because I think I didn’t like the spices added to them but that’s personal preference. Chicken salad for me was delicious. Great crunch, light and refreshing. Bigoli was hearty, cooked al dente with a little kick of heat, very good. Least favorite was the lemon meringue tart. Presentation was beautiful, Lemon was tart and creamy but the shell was a little thick and seemed a little over cooked. Will definitely be back again.

Fabulous food, beautiful decor, mediocre wines and sub par service. Had to wait an hour to order and 45 minutes just for bread. The food was sublime and everyone at our table loved their meal. But they should improve their service and esp their wines by the glass. Reason why the 4stars not 5.

I took my husband to Temple Court on 10 for his birthday dinner, and it did not disappoint. It is a stunningly gorgeous space at The Beekman Hotel. It is intimate, romantic and worthy of special occasions. We ordered the 3 course menu. My husband ordered the hamachi Crudo, poached lobster in a coconut lemongrass broth and cake. I ordered the King Crab and melon starter, the herb crusted halibut and cake. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic - everything was good exactly as we had hoped. We will definitely return, and are discussing hosting an intimate dinner with friends and family for our upcoming anniversary.

They made sure we had everything we needed, service was so prompt and even guests with special asks were taken care of quickly. And lets talk about the food - AMAZING. I love the space. It’s really well done. It’s perfect for drinks and also the dining room is posh.Had the oysters and crudo for appetizers. Oysters were good, but the crudo, pretty amazing. My tounge is still dancing from the flavors.I tried the dry aged bone in strip special for dinner with bone marrow. The steak was cooked perfectly to order. It had the nutty flavor you’d expect from a dry aged steak. I liked that it was pre-cut. You won’t get a misfiled steak that way. The marrow was also delicious.Overall, a great spot.

Overall, we had a great experience. We enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly stuff and food.We had four course dinner with wine pairing.Pre courses appetizer:It was yummy tortellini and I think it was filled with smoked crab.First course: Picked Scallop Tartare & Foie Gras MousseFoie gras was good and I liked having fatty foie gras with citrusy jelly and freshly baked brioche. Scallop was really refreshing and I loved the sauce.Second course: Picked Glazed Lobster & Carbonara White AsparagusI liked the idea of slicing white asparagus looks like Fettuccine and make carbonara with it. It was bit salty but they cooked asparagus perfectly. I love coconut milk and I really enjoyed Lobster with coconut broth. You need to pay additional for Lobster but I recommend to do:) We did not get Chestnut soup but we love to get that next time. People were toasting marshmallow at the table and it looked fun!Third Course: Picked Pekin Duck & Lamb ShankI wanna eat their duck again... meat was juicy and flavorful. Fingerling yams were surprisingly sweet (I have sweet tooth, I liked it). Lamb shank was fulfilling and had a good smokey flavor.Dessert Course: Picked Lemon Tart & Chocolate Mousse CakeBetween those two, I enjoyed lemon tart more than Chocolate cake. It was just because espresso flavor was bit strong for me.Drinks:We added wine pairing but we felt we should have could ordered drinks we like. It was so much food and drinks in the end. You can have the same drinks at the bar and 10th floor restaurant.

Would definitely consider coming back again for a non-Restaurant Week experience!

  • Review 146 (2018-08-21 - Rating: 4)

We went here for the Jazz Brunch on a Sunday. The space is amazing with period decor. One slight snag are the sofa seats that you sit on. Theyre a little low for the table, but comfy, they would have been better to use normal height seats or a lower height table. The music wasnt overwhelming and you could have a decent conversation, due to the fact the dining area is at the bottom of a very tall atrium. We had some donut holes with jam as a starter, they were yummy. Though I still like Riverparks version more, cant beat chocolate sauce! My main course was skate on a bed of spinach, which was nicely cooked, but was overpriced for the portion size. Other main dishes were more sensibly priced and portioned. For dessert I shared a baked Alaska, which was very good.Overall, a good experience.

Truly impressive restaurant situated at the base floor of the Beekman hotel in downtown Manhattan, in an iconic building which was one of the first to be designed with a fire-proof concept. Chef Colicchio blends egregiously his Italian roots with his American upbringing, presenting a selection of creative dishes that are both rich in flavor and seductive in visual appearance. The wine selection includes numerous choices from both the old and the new world. Service is top notch and the ambience really impressive and ideal for small, intimate parties, with the bar room shrouded by book shelves and the smaller dining room sorrounded by colored-glass panels covering the original brick walls. A true iconic destination for those who seek a postcard-like New York experience

The soecial menu offered fish and steak entrees as well as the traditional turkey, so everyone had a goid choice. Temple Court is on the ground floor just inside the Beekman Hotel. Where to begin...Im active duty and went on leave recently to see my girlfriend back home. I wanted to take her out somewhere unforgettable to spoil ourselves in NYC, and Temple Court was absolutely the right place. The maître d Dylan placed us in one of the best sections of the bar room for drinks before our dinner reservation, and we even got to meet the manager who welcomed me back home and gave us a complementary first round of drinks. Top shelf cocktails, fantastic service, and a genuine appreciation for service members made the start of the evening one to remember. Dylan made sure everything was to our liking and moved us into the dining area and made sure we were continuously treated like family. We enjoyed the Duck ALorange and Braised Lamb Shoulder along with the Baked Alaska and Millefueille with strawberry, lavender, and honey for dessert which were both heavenly. The service was impeccable, the waiters were knowledgeable and also even let us try a small taste of Madeira at the end of the night. Overall, I cant say enough positive things about Temple Court, and am counting down the days until I am able to enjoy their dining experience again

Food, cocktails and staff are amazing! Chef Travis is very skilled at his art. We ate at Temple on 10. The wine pairing is a must! A true gem.

My absolute favorite in the neighborhood, probably in the entire city. The ambience is comforting and exciting at the same time. The architecture and aesthetics become conversation starters. Their cocktails are impeccable. I prefer their brunch menu with that delectable banana bread. For a light after-work grub this week, we were surprised by how sumptuous the hummus plate was. They used to have jazz performances on Sundays, pre-Covid. Overall, a gem.

The restaurant is beautiful and when its night time, they have candles lit to give their guests a night life experience. Delicious food and beverages, and wonderful service. They have a bar where customers or hotel guests can socialize and have fun to relax, or discuss business related matters. Whatever the guest needs are, Temple Court is the place to be.

What a lovely meal. Hands down one of the best weve had in FiDi. Everything exceeded expectations. We came here celebrating our anniversary. For appetizer we had the hamachi crudo, pork terrine, lamb garganelli (must order!). Entree we shared hot smoke king salmon (devine) and dry aged ny strip. Everything was so delicious and portion was quite big. Exceptional service as well.Highly recommend the garganelli and king salmon, would probably skip the steak next time.It was very well priced for a fine dining place.Would definitely come back again.

Great space and service could be better...always need to flag someone down. Wish beer and cocktail selection was bigger.

A true temple. The beautifully restored building welcomes and entices the thirsty traveler and the expert staff and sharp menu really deliver.Of particular note on the current cocktail menu would be the 2 doors down. Complex without being complicated, this short rocks-served cocktail was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. If youve the means I think Temple Court would be an ideal Date Night spot. Dont miss the extremely Grammable enclosed courtyard rising a full 9 stories above the bar floor.

Fresh local brews on draft with great quality. A lady at the bar was raving about the pâté. The ambience was incredible. Bartenders were knowledgeable about product and passionate about cocktail creation. Worth the price tag. Great for when out-of-towners come visit.

Wow place, Edwardian bar area, impeccable dining room in a wonder of architectural recreation. Very flavorful food beautifully presented. Feels like 50% off for restaurant week. Whole menu is available. Much above average in all respects.
