Everything was flavorful and delicious! I traveled from BK and my sister from Queens to try this spot and it didn’t disappoint. The service was amazing, staff went above and beyond. I had the jerk chicken tacos and jerk chicken meal and I can’t stop thinking about it. My sister ordered the ackee n saltfish tostones and snapper and she even ordered a meal to go. For dessert, we had the rum infused pineapple upside down cake. We will definitely be back! -

I recently discovered the Bleu Room, a hidden gem nestled in Sugar Hill. I was initially drawn in by the speaker outside playing banger reggae tunes, but it is also the food, live Jazz and ambience that will keep me coming back for more. This Jamaican cuisine spot has really exquisite fare to delight your palate. I love the rasta pasta, fried chicken with mac and cheese, cabbage, curry goat, chicken, carrot cake, and ginger sorrel. I newly discovered this spot, so I am working my way through the menu, my goal being to try everything! Where else can you get perfectly fried and seasoned chicken with a side of sumptuous mac and cheese for $7 as lunch special between 11AM-7PM? The Jazz Brunch I dropped in on was so enjoyable and guests can perform spontaneously. -

Such a cute date spot. I went on a brunch date and the atmosphere was really fun. The DJ had a great Playlist and the service was friendly. I appreciated the owner coming out and introducing himself. The fried chicken and waffle is a must. So good I forgot to take a picture of it. Thought it was a bit loud. Will be going back. -

I rarely give reviews, but I had to go out of my way to give this review. This place is a new Jamaican restaurant in the area and let me tell you the food is good and the service is great! I like the curry goat, fried chicken and jerk chicken. My favorite was the BBQ Jerk Chicken, I always go there for that specialty dish. I have not yet tried all the options but I send my friends to go by there as well.On the weekend they also have vegetarian dishes and steam snapper… it is a great mix for the weekend, I hope they can have it more often.Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!! If you are ever disappointed you can let management know and they’ll quickly resolve any issues. (From my experience). -

If you’re looking for true Jamaican cuisine, Bleu Room is the place! We enjoyed the oxtail mac n cheese; plantain waffles and chicken; porridge with the OFFICIAL tough crackers; ackee and saltfish with plantain; and fried whiting, to name a few items. We also enjoyed their bottomless mimosas, rum punch, henny punch and my personal favorite, Appleton and Ting 🥰Everything was tasty and authentic. Even the service was great! I placed a reservation to celebrate a birthday and the owners had a table adorned with a balloon and other surprises. They really consider and think of the small details.Simply put, dem get a 10 outta 10! Period. -

Has to be the hottest New Restaurant in Harlem. The rich flavors of Jamaica is brought into every dish, the food is WELL SEASONED!! Not too salty, just flavorful and delicious with some unique flavors. From breakfast to dinner I love coming here for some good ackee and saltfish or Jerk chicken… brings me right back home. The jerk chicken sauce has a nice kick to it and is just delicious. I love the take out and island feel of the area with some nice reggae music to kick it off. Staff are kind and friendly and I look forward to eating here after work. I CANT WAIT till the dine in is complete.. will definitely have my birthday dinner here. 10/10!!!!! -

Food from the heart! Loved their homey, authentic goodness that brought me straight back to Negril. Great Smokey jerk, flavorful callaloo and cabbage. I’m looking forward to our next breakfast order of porridge, and Ackee w/salt fish. Perfect add to the neighborhood for takeout. We hear there’s lounge space coming…. -

Came here for happy hour and dinner. The venue is nice and the food tasted great - I ordered the Rasta Pasta with jerk chicken and it was flavorful and creamy. The chicken was bone-in, but I didn’t mind working around it.I wish the happy hour menu was more extensive, but it’s just $8 rum punch and margaritas (which is still not a bad price). There weren’t a ton of people, probably because it’s a relatively new establishment. But I think once this place takes off, it will be a really fun spot to go out, especially considering the regular drinks menu isn’t too pricey and is pretty unique. They have a popular Bob Marley drink. -
