    Bijoy the bartender was great. We rarely give 5 star reviews. This place deserves 5 star for views and very nice bartender and the outdoor downtown and uptown views maybe best in the city. No Joke! This is probably one of the greatest city bar views in the world.

    Decent drinks with a great view of uptown. There are actually two decks, the main one facing uptown and another over past the restroom that faces downtown.Nice atmosphere. Was not crowded on a Sunday night.Tried the pumpkin spice espresso martini and the Singapore sling. Not out of this world drinks but better than most places. Then menu has a good variety though.

    Great place to go for a good view of the city. They have two different balconies with fantastic views. The bar area is pretty small but it is cozy and has a great vibe. The drinks were good and moderately priced. The bartender was super friendly and so were the bouncers. The elevator moved super fast. I would go back and you should check it out if you are in the area.

    Solid rooftop with killer views of Midtown, Hudson Yards, and even the Brooklyn Bridge. The music’s pretty mellow (not a party vibe) but it keeps things chill and cozy. Drinks are $20-$25, which is kinda steep, but honestly worth it for the scene and the quality. Definitely a go-to for a laid-back night with amazing views of the city.

    I had a wonderful night here. I didn’t get the food, but the cocktails were wonderful. One of them was a little spicy, but the cosmo was perfection. The views the vibes and the service were all on point. Excited to come back the next time I’m around china town.

    We had our wedding ceremony on the smaller rooftop terrace. We had a vision of how we wanted this day to take place and that’s exactly how it happened. The staff went above and beyond to deliver. All our guests had an an incredible experience and for us it was a dream come true.

    Best rooftop views of the city. On the pricier side but worth it. Atmosphere is perfect for dates or hanging out with friends. Getting a reservation beforehand will help. Sometimes the entire place will close down for an event so calling beforehand never hurts.

    We really loved the location and the views from the balcony. We visited in winter on a weekday, and there were hardly any people. But the views… They exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back in warmer weather to enjoy the cozy balcony seating.🌉🌉🌉

    Very pleasant and beautiful place to visit. The staffs were very friendly and caring . It was my birthday and they wished me with a glass of Champagne. It was very warm gesture from them. The view was awesome Network !!!❤️❤️

    The Crown is a great rooftop bar in Chinatown with spectacular views of the city. Great location too if you are planing to bar hop (lots of other cool bars in the area)! The ambiance was great and the music was fun. Everyone there was with a small group so definitely a great spot for a date night or catching up with a friend. Id recommend just getting drinks and skipping the food here as its definitely overpriced - chips and guac is $18 for a pretty small portion. Still a great bar and worth checking out if you are a local or just in town to visit!

    Lovely view, yummy food, and pleasant vibes. We were staying at the attached hotel - great experience. Hostess squeezed us in for a 45 minute time slot on the rooftop deck / terrace / patio when we walked up at roughly 7:15pm on a Monday evening. We were the youngest couple (not by much, mind you) but there was a solid mix of late 20s through mid 50s. Beautiful date night or photo spot.

    I really love the view here and the ample amount of indoor space. outside can get a little cramped when the Dj is there though. the music is awesome!! its also very nicely located in Chinatown. they arent too stickler about dress codes and theres no cover.

    David our Bartender was such a cool guy and lets not forget that he does all the bartenders tricks flipping bottles around.We had a Dirty Martini, Cosmopolitan and a Amstel light.Nice vibes and music super chic.The views from the rooftop are to die for.

    The Crown is honestly the place to be. Whether it be a weekday or a weekend. I was here on a Tuesday night and the place was popping with music just loud enough that you didn’t have to yell during your conversation but to keep the atmosphere going.Getting seated took literally no time as Campbell the host showed us to our seats and let us know that our waitress Krysten would be with us shortly. I love how laid back the vibes were even at such a classy establishment. Even though they were on top of the service, I didn’t feel rushed.Krysten served our first round of drinks which was the “Hot n Proud” which had just the right amount of kick with a passionfruit flare. If you like things on the spicier side, I’m sure you would be able to ask for some extra spice.As said earlier, we didn’t feel rushed when we finished our first round of drinks. Krysten casually came over and asked if we wanted another round where we ordered the “Jade Rabbit”. This was essentially a Lychee Martini. As someone who doesn’t normally like/tolerate the taste of vodka, I have to give it up to the bar staff for perfectly balancing this drink. It was mouth wateringly tasteful of the lychee while still having a kick of the alcohol.Finally we had the “Hugo Spritz” which was the best way to end off the night. It was light, florally, refreshing, but not too sweet. Which can normally be the case with St. Germaine drinks. This is definitely a great summer night drink.Definitely would be coming back to try more of the drinks and some food too. Special shout out goes out to the wait staff team of Ben, Depok, and Antonio for consistently keep our table free of glassware beside our drink and water cups.

    The rooftop is good but a small one it gives you the eastern downtown view ..I would say there are far more better rooftops in nyc so this wouldn’t be my first option ..limited options for wines and food too …the service is good and ambience also good ..maybe I tried out better rooftops before coming here so wanted to try something new!!

    Super fun bar! I loved the vibe, low light lodge style. My friend used to come here all the time and says theyve updated. The staff is great. Jasmine was awesome and answered all my questions. The menu was off beat, all the way from pork belly to cup of noodles. Ill definitely be back.

    The views are amazing. It was very windy the day we went. If it had not been, I could have stayed outside for the longest. They took care of us like e were family even offering a cozy blanket of we were cold. The staff put this place over the top!

    I LOVE this bar! It is a nicer scale bar so make sure you are wearing appropriate clothing. Drinks are pricey (because look at this view!) but delicious and definitely worth it. I love the classic margs. If you only plan to visit one rooftop bar in the city - make it be The Crown!

    Great selection of drinks and whiskey. Even the rare ones like Hibiki were available. You pay for the view though, dont forget it.Service is friendly and attentive. If the guys would adapt the habit of Japanese barkeepers (polishing glasses while not serving instead of chatting, dancing around or having drinks), this would add more class to the bar. But its just nitpicking at this point.

    Beautiful views of the city! Cant beat it. The food and drinks were very good. My fiance and I went right when they opened so we had the entire outside space to ourselves which was really nice. I highly recommend this spot for a date or night out with your friends!

I think the view its a lot better than rooftops in midtown..some of the midtown rooftops situated in the middle of bdlgs..thus the view are obstructed. Here u see s more of horizon views. Again services are amazing.. we went in before they were open, and they still welcomed us... Great at introducing drinks.

    Great views and love the concept. As a hotel guest, saving a few tables for visitors would be nice. Avoid later on weekends where it becomes a loud nightclub (unless of course that is your deal).

    Really cool bar on the roof of Hotel 50 the Bowery.We went up a few different times evening, night and when it had just opened after lunch.Drinks were really good and the sofas in the afternoon having a few drinks enjoying the view was really enjoyable.Really good cocktails and and the staff were engaging and friendly.

    I went with my spouse, we ordered drinks, between the 2 of us we spent $40+ on 2 drinks, which isnt unreasonable for New York (as far as we have gathered), the view is stunning! We didnt look at the food menu. I had a Moscow Mule, which was tasty, and my spouse had a Jack Daniels on the rocks, which he enjoyed. I would recommend going here for the view, and a nice city view pairs well with drinks in my opinion. The staff was great, attentive, and pleasant.

    Beautiful view...great atmosphere. Service was lacking. Was reprimanded for leaning against my husband in the chaise lounge area with my ariat boots touching the precious couch. We were here celebrating our 31st anniversary staying at 50 bowery hotel. Having an intimate conversation until we were interrupted by someone that wasnt even our server, telling me to sit up and remove my feet from the chaise. I didnt even understand at first what she was saying. I always want to respect every place I visit...and leave better than what I find. We left early....feeling disrespected. Please remove the lounge furniture if you dont want people to lounge.

    Nice spot, minimal but cozy interior, two big terraces, food is overpriced for what it is but the drinks are good, the music is good and the views are really nice. You can sit outside and check the sunset and then go inside when the sun goes down and dance til late, there’s a club called Daphne all the way in the basement too that’s open late!

    Great rooftop bar. You can sit in comfortable couches and see the skyline or walk out onto the platform outside and get an amazing view. The wine I had (Hampton water) was just ok.     This rooftop bar gives you amazing views of eastern Manhattan. You can see multiple bridges in the distance as you listen to 2010s rock and drink well-flavored cocktails. I got a Negroni and an Espresso Martini. It is a few blocks from multiple subway stops. Even as it got later in the night I didnt feel like it was too busy.

    The beauty of the pup inclusive rooftop bar are the dual (dueling?) exposures. To the north views of the Empire State and uptown, on the other side one has sunshine / sunsets and the Freedom Tower. Drinks are fun concoctions even if not overly adventurous. Libations, music, a view -a rooftop bar which you can bring your dog to?!? What more can you ask for

    Actually a really wicked spot to catch a great view of the city while grabbing a drink. Came on a Thursday and definitely had more of a club vibe than I wanted (live DJ, etc. while I came in casual clothes looking for a quick drink, but thats my fault for not looking it up) but the drink was very good. I had some kind of tequila cocktail with pear and grapefruit, would recommend. View is spectacular, 50 Bowery has to be the tallest building for many blocks so if a view is what you want on the neighborhood, this is the spot.Cocktails are a hefty price if youre not from here, 16 bucks each, but theres definitely a rooftop premium in that price. They serve some apps on the menu which I didnt try, and bottle service starts at about $300 if you want to grab take service (plus 20% auto grat). DJ was playing general feel good tracks, around 8:30pm when I was in there. Loud inside but the outside was pretty quiet as it was end of November.Overall, would recommend but you should definitely know what youre getting into. Expect a club vibe with pricey (but delicious!) drinks with a really great view.

    This is the gem in Manhattan Chinatown. The view is so gorgeous and the decor is beautiful too. Nice ambience with a DJ playing music at the indoor sitting area. Price of the drink is reasonable. Five stars from me.

    Lovely views. I didnt love that there was a requirement to buy food, especially since we came right after dinner for drinks and we were stuffed so we basically just had to order some food to go to waste. Some staff tried to social distance and some people were just not getting it. The front door person tried to put 2 of us in a small elevator with 4 other people. Amongst ourselves, we politely offered to take separate cars up. Two drunk guys (no masks) on the patio kept going up to other tables and the staff did not do anything about it, but one table of girls told them to cut it out. The server who helped us seemed overworked and just *done* with dealing with customers. It seems like it was probably a tough night. The drinks were normal Manhattan price, cocktails starting at $15-18 and up from there. They were not very fancy but they tasted good. Overall I think I would go back probably once they did not have to deal with COVID restrictions bc it seems to be putting a big strain on the mood. Also I would recommend a reservation.

    I was staying at hotel and there happened to be having a Barbie party or smth. You can enter the rooftop bar w/o any limits if you are styaing at hotel. So, yeah view was amazing and spot on. Honestly, I knew that ppl came for partying but I just enjoyed the view.

    I dont think Im their target demographic, but before 9, you can bring kids in, and all the beautiful, tall sharply dressed staff were super friendly. In another life Id be happy to put on some real shoes and spend a proper evening up there. Its on the top floor of the currently-northern/eastern edge of high rise lower Manhattan, so the views from the roof decks (plural!) are out of this world. If you hadnt been to NYC in a decade, you almost wouldnt recognize the Candyland Midtown silhouette. But thats for a different review.

    I accidentally stumbled across this place 5 years ago while they were still under construction , the security officers outside offered us to go up to see the views, and it has been my favorite place in the city since ! The vibes there are amazing, the DJ never disappoints, the drinks are pricey but good, and of course the two terraces with views of the whole city landscape are unmatched.

The views pretty nice, there are 2 outdoor sections and it gets pretty busy throughout the afternoon. Most people just stand around to chat app its fine if you cant get seats.

    So during the after party of two of my good friends wedding, I hit the point where I decided that it was that time when nothing else good could result during the evening. So, I Houdinied as Im prone to do at such moments. Of course I left my credit card (despite actually closing out my bill) and overcoat. The next day I returned to try and locate said property tail between my legs. The bartender remembered me of course because who closes out their tab and then leaves their card? He also got my jacket for me, which still had qi charger in the pocket. Most importantly he treated me with respect that I probably should have lost. That is classy. Period. Add to that great views and reasonably priced whiskey for NYC and Im sure Ill be back on my next visit. Thanks guys for being professional even when I wasnt.

    We visited the Crown after my wife found the bar on Google. We had some time to kill before flying back to the UK that evening. The views were fantastic. A great unobstructed view of mid town. Prices were high but we expected it as its Manhattan and its a hotel rooftop bar. Will definitely visit again next time Im in New York.

    My must go to place with out of towners! Two blocks down from my house I can practically come here everyday, this is truly in the heart of Chinatown but the view from The Crown is amazing from the see Two Bridges, East River to Midtown. The Dragonfruit cocktail by far is signature drink! So go bring your friends, Sunday evening are best time.
