    Five Lamps is an awesome local spot! Service is great and lots of seating inside and outside. We love to go for happy hour. They have rotating specialty cocktails and food as part of happy hour as well.For espresso martini fans, we really enjoy the Five Lamps version. They add nutmeg on top which is *chefs kiss*

    Great place for service, quick food, easy accommodation. Came at 1:30pm on a Saturday. Lots of open tables. Space to have a stroller nearby. Thank you for giving this mom a moment of reprieve on a beautiful fall day.

    I love this place! We come here often. The guys that own/run the ‘lamps’ (as I call it) are just brilliant. Super friendly and attentive. The food is incredible. Taco Tuesday is amazing. And the drinks are just great! Do yourself a favour and Go grab yourself a seat outside and chill for day/night with friends. You won’t regret it.

    I Moved to the neighborhood 3 years ago and this place has become my literal living room. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Service is top notch even when the place is slammed. Solid good food, great cocktails and a super chill environment. Its a hidden gem that is treasured by its many regulars and newcomers alike. Love this place. And their burger!

    Had our work party here and I can’t imagine a better place. Perfect playlist, amazing fast service, and great cocktail list. So much energy, great vibes and even better people. Decorated beautifully for the holidays, just a great neighborhood bar. Shoutout Andy for being the best host!

    The Five Lamps is an excellent spot to unwind after our soccer matches. I truly love the staff and the regulars here; they make the place feel like a second home.     One of the best neighborhood bars you’ll come across. When you’re here, you are family (not to be confused with Olive Garden). But seriously, the food, the drinks, and the company are always top notch. Come here and it’ll become your favorite go to spot!

    My absolute favorite bar. I describe it as “cheers” to my out of town friends, even call one of my own friends “Norm” anytime she walks in. The five lamps is so welcoming, fun and friendly, I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 4 years now and it’s my go to spot. Highly recommend.

    Love this neighborhood bar! The owners are awesome and there are different events/themes throughout the week. $2 Taco Tuesday and Thursday night trivia are the best! In the warmer seasons they have a great outdoor seating area with picnic tables. There’s also tvs for all the sports you could wish for. If you’re around in the morning, they also make great coffee!

    Ambiance (5/5): There’s an amazing outdoor area with several tables and high tops. They also have an outdoor TV to watch any games that are on. There’s a self-serve water station. Inside, it’s a cozy bar with nice ceiling lights. There’s a dart board in the back.Service (4/5): My friends know the owners here and Owen will take care of you! The owners are friendly and will make sure that you are welcomed. We came around 9pm and it took forever to get our food but we were content with our beers and good weather.Food (5/5): There’s a $20 burger and beer special. I liked the burger which came with cheese and bacon, soft potato buns, and well-done potato wedges were FIRE. I enjoyed the fried chicken burger slightly more, which had a light breading and juicy breast.

    Its a cool bar to hangout for drinks with friends. We live close by so this is the perfect place to chill over some drinks. The food and drinks are always good here. We love the dog friendly outdoor seating, and the service is always very friendly and helpful.

    Taco Tuesday is amazing!!! $2 Taco’s really?!And honestly it tastes better than other Mexican spots on the UES.I never had such cheap drinks and Tacos in New York. But apart from that it is still a nice casual bar to go to. They have some screens for game watching too.

    Andy and the crew over at Five Lamps are the real MVPs. Great food, amazing drinks and the vibes were vibing 👏 . I got a Tiramisu Espresso Martini (or 3) because I was feeling extra - sue me!! Service was out of this world and the playlist was spitting hot fire. 10/10 would Five Lamps again and again.

    Easily one of the top spots in the city for cocktails or beers in a comfortable environment with great vibes. The owners have been in the industry for a while and poured all their knowledge into creating a well above average local bar. If you live in the neighborhood it’s a great place to make your go to, and if you live outside of Yorkville it’s well worth a visit. Just as great of a spot for groups as it is for dates or friends catching up. You won’t regret visiting, and will likely make it a weekly or daily habit, even if it’s just to drop in and say hey.

    Visited the five lamps during a trip to NY and after trying a couple of bars in the area, this pub was the one I liked the best. Authentic Irish styled pub with excellent staff, flexible bartenders (I am very experimental with my drinks) with serious skill, a cozy, familiar vibe and regulars that made me feel welcome.If you could only visit one bar in NY and/or want to try out something new, Five Lamps is without a doubt the place to try out.

    I loved the ambience of this place. We sat outside and had two cocktails. The moscow mule was very watered down but that could’ve been a one time thing. The gin lemonade was really good and refreshing- I would definitely order it again. We also ordered the burger and it surpassed our expectations. The service was 10/10- quick and kind.     The Five Lamps, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan off of York Avue, is amazing! I recently came here for the first time and I already love this spot so much!     Best Irish and probably best bar on the UES and definitely one of the best in the city. Owners David & Ioan are class acts as is the bar staff . Everybody is welcome here and can laugh up a storm, watch sports on TV or sit sipping a ctail in one’s own world. Lots of pretty attractive women too, not necessarily a guy hangout. Less a sports bar, more a neighborhood place to go, a la Cheers.Note food menu is limited but their Tacos are simply delicious, fresh and tasteful.
