Gorgeous hotel that provides stellar service. The bellman were professional and courteous. Luggage storage was convenient and easily accessible. Loading zone is right out front and easy to access. Parking garage is a 4 minute walk from the hotel: $45 a night for compact/$55 for suv. Metropolis is the garage (most hotels we stayed at use them) and we are always happy with the service. Comped breakfast was tasty with lots of options. The front desk was incredible and made our stay very enjoyable and stress free. Queen room was a bit small compared to what we have had in past nyc trips! Service made up for it. Hotel is very clean. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner are included. Linens were always clean and fresh and the room was very clean. We definitely recommend BUT beware that the rooms are smaller than average. Very good location, next to chambers street subway station and the financial district!

Cute hotel in a great part of town, close to everything but very quiet. We had just got in from a 16 hour flight and they let us check in early which was phenomenal. We enjoyed the fitness center and the complimentary breakfast. We slept very well. Great spot that’s walkable and quiet!

I absolutely loved my stay at The Frederick Hotel! The hotel is so beautifully decorated and is located in such a convenient area for exploring New York. It was especially great to have a subway entrance so close for getting back and forth from Penn Station. The room was very comfortable and clean. I also loved the neighboring restaurant Serafina - delicious food and gorgeous rooftop views!

  • Review 4 (2024-09-23 - Rating: 4)

Great location and reasonably priced. Comfortable but small rooms. No room in the fridge for anything but mini bar items. Good onsite restaurant for in room or sit down dining. Best for a business traveler, not the family.

  • Review 5 (2024-07-01 - Rating: 5)

Oh, what a steal for a luxurious overnight stay at this hotel. The elegant room was tastefully decorated with modern furnishings and a stunning view of the city skyline. The hotels amenities are a state-of-the-art. Guests could enjoy personalized concierge services during their stay.

I recently stayed at the Frederick and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep every night. One thing that really stood out to me was the hotels location. It was so easy to get around the city with the subway station just a few steps away from the hotel. This made exploring NYC a breeze and saved me a lot of time and hassle.Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient and enjoyable stay in NYC.

Family of four (two under 3 yrs old). Frederick was fantastic for staff, service, location, and amenities. Happy we spent our 10-day vacation with them. Across the street from the subway and in a walkable neighbourhood with a nearby playground and essential stores. All the front staff were super friendly. Staying there was the first time we felt that a hotel was more than four walls and a roof, but it was staff that made the difference. You represent NYC well, Frederick! Much love!No view, though, just the inside atrium, but we didnt miss it. It was a great home base to explore NYC.

I recently stayed at a charming boutique hotel in the Tribeca area of NYC and had a nice experience. The hotel was clean, and although the rooms were small, they were designed efficiently to maximize comfort and functionality. The service was very good, with a special mention to Chris at the front desk. He was exceptionally friendly, greeted us with genuine warmth, and was always ready to help. Chris truly made our stay memorable.Additionally, the Serafina Rooftop bar was delightful. It offered a great ambiance and a lovely place to unwind. Overall, this boutique hotel in Tribeca is a fantastic choice for a cozy and pleasant stay in the city.

  • Review 9 (2024-05-31 - Rating: 5)

Small but clean, well organized, quiet and comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff and perfect location to walk or take the subway to uptown on the express train, right outside the hotel. Excellent restaurants in the vicinity including Serafina, Italian style food. So yummy. As well great, full breakfast and free walking tours and even a happy hours some days. Definitely recommend this hotel.

  • Review 10 (2024-09-30 - Rating: 5)

Service was exceptional. The room size was adequate and the Continental breakfast was more than a full breakfast. Location is perfect for Tribeca.

  • Review 11 (2024-11-13 - Rating: 5)

Nice rooms, everything is a little cramped but thats par for the course, the bathrobes are amazing :)

  • Review 12 (2025-01-03 - Rating: 5)

Had a great experience at The Frederick. The room was gorgeous and spacious, the bathroom was nice and clean, and the robes were amazing. The TV can also be angled any direction you want so you can watch while lying in bed or on the couch. Amazing experience and I will be coming back!

  • Review 13 (2024-01-29 - Rating: 5)

A remarkable hotel in an excellent location in TriBeCa. We were a little disappointed with the check-in experience which, after a long flight, was cold and impersonal to say the least and left us feeling a bit deflated.Thankfully the service we received gratefully improved and we were made up overall with our two nights. I would certainly stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

  • Review 14 (2024-01-27 - Rating: 5)

This is the second time my dear old friend of 30 years and I have met and stayed here midway between our homes. The rooms are a speck small, but understandable in an old NYC hotel. They are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed! The location is great — in Tribecca — for walking, eating, drinking, etc. We recommend the short walk to the AIre water circuit spa — absolutely divine!!

  • Review 15 (2023-08-29 - Rating: 5)

I came here alone right after my 18th birthday. I was treated with class and respect. I was assisted as soon as I arrived with my luggage. The room was wonderful, with a place to sit and write, a comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a good shower. It was a peaceful and special experience. Thank you Frederick Hotel! My only regret was not bringing home a soft and amazing bath robe that was supposedly for sale at the front desk.

  • Review 16 (2024-08-10 - Rating: 5)

Great hotel in TriBeca. Good beds, lovely foyer and decor. Right by Subway. Couldnt fault it.

  • Review 17 (2023-06-08 - Rating: 5)

I absolutely loved the hotel. Excellent friendly service. Great boutique hotel with a generous sized double room on 7th floor. Comfy and clean. Dont miss out on the bar. Fun hangout and even open until 1am if there are enough people. The staff are all happy and accommodating. Would DEFINITELY stay again. Location is great. There is a subway outside the hotel.

  • Review 18 (2024-02-24 - Rating: 5)

My partner always enjoys her stay at The Frederick Hotel while away on her business trips. Chris & Terrell with the concierge team has made the last few visits positive and memorable. Most recently, they were a big help locating a few pieces of jewelry that were left behind and assisted us by shipping back to Chicago. LEGENDS. Cheers, yall.

  • Review 19 (2024-04-11 - Rating: 5)

Rooms not so big, similar to other hotels in the area, but very well distributes. I choosed a room on the west brodway and it was a bit noisy during night. Position is excellent, walking distance from everything the area offers. Restaurant Serafina is really great.

  • Review 20 (2022-01-11 - Rating: 4)

Wow, a lot of the people reviewing here have weird expectations for a New York hotel. First of all, you get what you pay for. The Frederick is a great little boutique hotel option. The rooms are really small, yes, but it’s exactly what you need. You have the option to upgrade to a larger room if that’s a concern. If you want anything larger, shell out the extra $300 a night for a more upscale hotel. Oh that’s not an option? Didn’t think so. The beds are super comfy. The bathrooms are clean and nice. The staff is friendly. And you can’t beat the convenience of having the subway stop just outside the front door. It’s not perfect, but it’s exactly what you need. There are also a lot of great neighborhood amenities. Some of my favorite finds are Takahatchi Bakery and Laughing Man Cafe. The beauty of staying here is staying in a slightly quieter part of town where you feel like you can actually take a deep breath at the end of the day. Great value for the money.

  • Review 21 (2023-04-17 - Rating: 5)

My flight home from a week with family was cancelled, and I was looking for a decent place to work from for a couple days while waiting for my rescheduled flight. I was pleasantly surprised by how easily and quickly I was able to book a room in the middle of the night. Next, the cleanliness and aesthetic of the room and facility as a whole far exceeded my expectations and was on par with some of the nicest hotels Ive stayed at during my travels. Finally and most importantly- the staff here were kind, attentive, and accommodating to all of my needs. They were helpful and responsive to requests in a way that exceeded expectation. The location was convenient for me. Transit nearby; something not usually a problem in nyc. Plenty of food, coffee, and stuff to do nearby or short train ride away. Surely theyll be the first place Ill call when looking for a room in Manhattan.

  • Review 22 (2024-11-27 - Rating: 5)

Frony staff was awesome.Rooms are a bit on the smaller end.

  • Review 23 (2024-04-07 - Rating: 5)

The hotel was really great but the next door restaurant that served breakfast and were we had some drinks wasn’t that good. The staff was not that welcoming and the breakfast could be better.

  • Review 24 (2023-04-11 - Rating: 5)

We have spent a fantastic week at The Frederick Hotel.Service was extremely helpful and nice. The room was astonishing. City views, 7th floor, zero noises, good clima system, pretty good space in the bathroom, best white fluffy towels ever, wide shower, spotless white sheets, very comfy double beds, etc...Breakfast is to go, but you can have it there, at the comfortable sofas. Good coffee/milk/tea, delicious croissant, a sweet snack, a iogurt and a fruit, it was perfect for us.Thank you very much Mary, for the help. You and your colleagues really made our stay in NYC unforgettable!Only some hours since we left and we miss it already!

  • Review 25 (2021-10-02 - Rating: 5)

Very good Hotel! the staff was very helpful, professional and kind. The room is small as all in NYC but it was comfortable and clean. No complaints. But the most important thing is the one of a kind location, in front of a subway station, near lots of amazing restaurants and bars. Ground zero and trade center is 5 min walk, and Brooklyn Bridge just 10 min walk. Also we ordered a car service to the airport through the hotel that was perfect, in time, with a driver who is polite and nice.

  • Review 26 (2023-06-25 - Rating: 4)

Great hotel overall but the cheaper rooms in classic New York style just face the berth of rooms on the opposite wall with 2m of clearance and naught but a dirty guttered roof running between them. if youre on the second floor ask to face the street or to be moved up.management: I suggest you put some green growth outside the inside windows to make it less offensive to open the curtains, and add another lamp, on a rainy day the room is dismal in terms of light.

  • Review 27 (2022-12-13 - Rating: 5)

Lovely boutique hotel! I stayed for several nights and I felt very much at home. The front desk staff is very helpful! The room was serviced to perfection daily. The bed, Frette towels, and toiletries are very luxe. The neighborhood is charming and has lots of great shops and restaurants. My room’s view had a quintessential NYC feel. Their Primo’s bar downstairs is a gem! Perfect for hosting guests or enjoying a nightcap.Truly enjoyed my stay. Thanks to the entire Frederick team!

  • Review 28 (2023-07-06 - Rating: 5)

I have never had a more pleasant stay in NYC! I want to say a very public Thank you! to Ivette at the Front Desk who went above and beyond and got me an earlier check-in at 11am and even texted me to let me know the room was ready. I was jetlagged and lethargic and I was so grateful to her for her kind service. The room is beautiful, the location is great, just a few steps away from the 1 line subway and the service was fantastic.Thank you Ivette and thank you Frederick Hotel!Jason

This is a Must visit hotel in the Tribeca area of NYC.Rooms were very clean and the staff was beyond friendly. Our corner room on the 4th floor was perfect and quiet. Breakfast in the weekend was very nice.Prices were comparable to others in the area so no complaint there. We will always stay here upon returning to NYC.Thank you to the entire staff!

  • Review 31 (2024-12-02 - Rating: 5)

The Frederick Hotel was fabulous. The service was top notch. The gentlemen working the front desk were very kind, specifically Ariel. He was very attentive and quick to resolve any issues we were having. Thank you Ariel!

  • Review 32 (2024-12-10 - Rating: 5)

Lovely boutique hotel with great service, location and nourishing breakfast. We were visiting for my daughter’s birthday so they provided some Prosecco to help celebrate. Very nice touch. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was a little dark but well furnished and the beds comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The location is fantastic with Tribeca around you and Chinatown close by. The Chambers Street subway station on the red line is directly in front of the hotel. The only problem is we were close to the bar and we heard the music late Saturday night. Overall a great experience and a great hotel.

  • Review 33 (2022-03-02 - Rating: 5)

My stay was exactly what I had hoped for. I had a clean room with a desk, a renovated bathroom, a safe, plenty of closet space and a fully stocked minibar. The location is great, and they also give a big grab and go breakfast, which was very convenient since I had little time to eat. And the staff couldnt have been nicer or more helpful.

  • Review 34 (2023-01-12 - Rating: 5)

The staff is outstanding. Rooms are small but very clean. No coffee maker in the room. Breakfast is kinda bleak but the location, cleanliness, and awesome employees make up for the shortcomings. Definitely recommend!!

  • Review 35 (2021-08-16 - Rating: 5)

Staff definitely went above and beyond. The location is amazing as well. Everything was very clean. Having the option for the grab and go breakfast was nice. We could grab our breakfast bags and have something quick to eat before we enjoyed our busy days. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for helping make our mother daughter trip so memorable!

  • Review 37 (2023-12-17 - Rating: 5)

Great experience. Best beds I have been on at hotel. Very nice room and loved the shower with the NYC bath tiles.

  • Review 38 (2022-10-31 - Rating: 5)

Convenient location, friendly and accommodating staff, cozy bathrobes. Small rooms so would recommend a queen room or larger if tiny spaces aren’t your thing. Cannot recall the lady’s name at the front desk, but she is top tier for her friendliness and service! Will be back again!

  • Review 39 (2023-08-04 - Rating: 5)

Chris, exemplified world-class customer service during my work trip stay. His exceptional attention to detail and unwavering dedication ensured that my experience was nothing short of excellent. I am truly grateful for his outstanding hospitality and professionalism.

  • Review 40 (2021-11-29 - Rating: 4)

I would stay here again at the discounted price I got from my timeshare company, through interval international. All in all a good stay. Just a note to say that you should request a room with a window. Also the building is not white as pictured and most of the shots of chairs and a communal breakfast area are old and those spaces do not exist. When we first arrived it was late and the person who worked there was beyond not happy to see us and was grumpy. We were so excited after a LONG journey. We got a room that was like a cave - a window that had a brick wall opposite. Note i never saw any of the windows pictured in the photos (large with an arch on top) in the building not inside or outside so those must be staged shots. The fridge in that first room was very loud and one could not open it. I had to wear earplugs. Also the phone did not work and there was NO ROOM to even put your luggage. We had to request luggage racks and those then blocked a way to walk around the bed. But this is how it is in NYC. - your standard hotel room is just SO tiny. Just like most peoples living space - tiny. The next day we got a room with a window with a view of the street. It still did not look like the ones in the photos. But better with daylight. Still not much space and a loud droning noise at night - so bring earplugs. No fridge this time but still a noise ? But I will say that it was CLEAN, relatively QUIET (for NYC) and because of the nice communal space downstairs (more like a club or bar) and gym, as well as nice lobby and excellent location - subway lines nearby and quiet Tribeca - I would stay again. I appreciated no resort fee and a free good breakfast consisting of an excellent croissant and fresh fruit. The bathrooms are adorable with fabulous old map of Tribeca on the tile! Loved the design and also nice soapstone. You get robes and slippers, a nice touch. One last negative - the bath products may look nice in the photos but they smell of toilet cleaner - the soap falls apart after 2 uses. Bring your own soap shower gel and shampoo. The conditioner was good. Hairdryer high quality! Still I would stay again! It is also a cool place to meet someone for a business meeting. The clientele seemed to consist of ex New Yorkers as far as I can tell. Staff was mixed - some nice some grumpy. Managers were very accommodating and nice. Unfortunately the filter coffee which was free in the morning irritated my bladder so I had to stop drinking it. Bar was closed so we dont know what that is normally like. For NYC this was very good.LATER: I tried staying here again on a recent trip but hte price had risen from $120 per room to about 300 or 400. Definitely stay somewhere else for that price. Even though I avoid midtown I recommend the Hilton Midtown (get 2 double beds) - quiet, large rooms, insanely amazing view and no resort fee. Great huge gym. Go to the cart outside for breakfast sandwhiches that are only $2. The cost was around $175 per night but I used my timeshare discount 2 days before travel. Prices drop. a few days before ! NYC HOTEL HACK: Maybe book a backup marriot and then cancel (free up to 24 hrs beforehand) and switch if you find a bargain a few days before! Check hotwire and priceline and void resort fees!

  • Review 41 (2014-11-20 - Rating: 4)

Me and my husband stayed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel from Nov 13 to 18, in a very tiny room located at the end of the 6th floor. The room was clean and well presented as well as the bathroom, soft color, simple but nice, furniture very well distributed considering the small size of the room, however storage enough, desk, chair and plasma TV. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Maintenance of the areas is good, everything looks neat and clean. Elevator is kind of slow, there is only one, like those old style elevators in NY old building, part of the magic, however little annoying waiting so long for the elevator to arrive, but still okay. Location, location, location is a huge plus for this hotel, close to excellent restaurants, convenience stores like whole foods. We loved the place and for sure if we need to stay there again, we would do it without any doubts. Staff gave us nice welcoming, very friendly, warm people. Really recommend this hotel. You can fin good deals on price working with travel operators, directly with the hotel is kind of pricey.

  • Review 42 (2024-02-14 - Rating: 5)

Love staying at The Frederick. Great location in Tribeca. They have a very fun/cool bar called Primos and an Italian restaurant (Serafina) plus Starbucks & Sweetgreen. Everything you need while in NYC

  • Review 43 (2024-11-08 - Rating: 5)

Amazing location right in the center of Tribeca, subway next to it, amazing suite with a view ! Perfect stay. Staff is really nice, the hotel is modern and the room really comfortable. Next to all accommodations and in the coolest neighborhood.

  • Review 44 (2016-08-28 - Rating: 4)

Reception very friendly and no problems with the service or cleanliness. Rooms are small, but hey, its New York. Big TV although we did not use it. Bathroom was nice. Our room didnt have much closet space though. If you dont need a lot space, its a great option. Also should mention I believe we stayed in a newly renovated room.

  • Review 45 (2018-11-03 - Rating: 4)

Great hotel, location cant be beat in Manhattan. Close to many subway lines and bus routes. Hotel is presented to a good standard with all amenities in the rooms. Beds super comfy with great quality bedding. Towels are luxurious. The bar is cosy with a good drinks menu. Looking forward to going back

  • Review 47 (2018-04-11 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely fantastic. Stayed here March 2018, got upgraded to a huge suite with a beautiful view of the Bellagio Fountains. My suite had a gigantic bathroom, living room, desk, balcony and two TVs. It’s somewhat annoying to walk between the two towers but the rooms are immaculate. Check in was effortless, the front desk staff sent me a cute box of chocolates and recommended all the best spots to eat. It was so easy to access my conference sessions and then go out at night! Loved the Cosmo over the Aria which I stayed at previously.

  • Review 48 (2018-05-23 - Rating: 5)

My stay at The Frederick Hotel was very pleasant! My room was clean and super cute. It was a little smaller than expected but I was only in there to sleep so it wasnt a big deal. By the way, the bed was super comfortable! Located off of West Broadway in the Tribeca area, it was also easily accessible to the subway.

  • Review 49 (2023-12-08 - Rating: 4)

A welcome place to treat our heads for a weekend trip to the City. The Continental breakfast hit all the spots--the coffee alone was worth the trip.

  • Review 50 (2023-06-06 - Rating: 4)

Friendly staff and great spot! amazing amenities and bar. Just keep in mind the room is really small. If you’re claustrophobic like my boyfriend you’ll freak out.

  • Review 51 (2016-05-23 - Rating: 5)

The hotel was a great find. The newly renovated room was perfect for us; it was cozy but had everything we needed. We also noticed how soft the towels were compared to most hotels. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Review 52 (2020-02-20 - Rating: 5)

We stayed in a premium king room on the corner of the 7th floor and it was spacious and beautiful! The room was very clean, the furniture very nice, bathroom amenities were great, staff super friendly. We considered staying longer and looked at smaller rooms and they are definitely very small, but this one was amazing! No complaints! Thanks!

  • Review 53 (2020-02-04 - Rating: 4)

The room was tiny, but terrific value for the price. The location couldnt be more convenient, you are a stones throw from multiple subway stops. Would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was their lack of instructions for laundry, apparently you are supposed to take it downstairs, but this was not explained anywhere. As a result my laundry was still in the bag and dirty when I got home.

  • Review 54 (2015-10-12 - Rating: 5)

Hotel staff was very helpful. They were able to upgrade my husband and me to a king size bed. The hotel was very clean and designed nicely. A/C made noises at night but thats how A/Cs are. Nothing out of the ordinary. The hotel is in a great neighborhood close to the 1,2,3 and the A,C,E trains.

  • Review 55 (2024-07-24 - Rating: 5)

My only regret during my stay at the Frederick is that I stayed just one night. A great small neighborhood hotel that makes me want to rethink staying at big hotel chains. I felt like I was staying in a small neighborhood place, but this is downtown NYC and accessible to anything you want to do. The rooms are on the small side but inviting, efficient and very comfortable. The smallest details have been thought out in the room, with terrific bathrooms. The breakfast was way better than expected from a buffet breakfast - its all cooked fresh and real. The hotel staff was so friendly and very willing to engage and help out. The hotel bar, Primo was special, a great mix of people from the hotel and not - an upscale neighborhood hangout with great bar service.

  • Review 56 (2024-08-23 - Rating: 5)

Met up with a friend who currently is staying there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate in the connected restaurant Sarafina where the service was excellent. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would come back to dine and possibly stay a night or two, to enjoy the hotel experience my friend is enjoying.

  • Review 57 (2024-12-07 - Rating: 5)

Perfect location for downtown. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean

  • Review 58 (2021-07-24 - Rating: 4)

Super nice hotel modern with a retro twist. Like absolutely love the style and all the copper/gold finishes. The bad&ugly:The bar is closed and has been since COVID last year. There is no valet.Seems the evening is run by one person which seems overwhelming & also risky. If they are called away from the front desk there is no security.1.Anyone can walk from the street into the building and onto any floor. The floors are accessible without a key card.2.My room door opened by a mere push on the door this am, which freaked me out bc I wonder if the key card entry is disabled for both rooms and elevator.

  • Review 59 (2019-03-19 - Rating: 4)

Nice boutique hotel, nice staff and beautiful rooms, but you can hear the subway from your room. We were on the 3rd floor and we could feel the vibrations when the trains were passing. Not great if you are a light sleeper.

  • Review 60 (2018-08-06 - Rating: 5)

Sadly, we only hot to stay here one of our planned nights due to flight cancellations. However, loved our brief time there. Everyone was so very nice. Shout out to Andre who helped us out in a huge way and made an awesome restaurant recommendation. Everything has been renovated and is clean and fresh. Great location, comfy bedss, great staff-what more do you need?

  • Review 61 (2018-06-26 - Rating: 5)

This stylish boutique hotel was exactly what I was looking for! Quite comfortable with a cosmopolitian yet old world charm - even the elevator had a wee creak in it reminding us the history of this building. The concierge was very helpful - especially David and John adding a high-caliber element to their service. I was lucky to get a room on the top floor overlooking the One World Observatory building! Walking distance to all the sites. I highly recommend and hope to stay there again on my next visits. Thank you dear Frederick!

  • Review 63 (2013-09-05 - Rating: 5)

Perfect hotel for business trip! I stayed here two nights for a business/training trip. This hotel was perfect for just such a stay. It was VERY clean and it has character. The hotel staff even held my luggage during the day until my flight left late in the evening. The only warning I have for you... it is an old hotel so it is not sound proof. If hearing outside noise is not your thing, you might want to try something newer.

  • Review 64 (2021-12-03 - Rating: 4)

The Tribeca location is amazing but everything else is quite average. There is nothing special or memorable about the rooms or service. They were both good, not great. The highlights of the hotel are the comfortable beds and the convenient location.

  • Review 70 (2023-10-07 - Rating: 5)

Great location, very friendly staff, cute room! Nice bar downstairs. Only downside was poor Wi-Fi signal on the 7th floor

  • Review 71 (2018-08-12 - Rating: 5)

This is pretty spacious compared to a few other places Ive stayed in NYC that cost more. The location is perfect to get anywhere in the city...and...walking distance to a Whole Foods if you dont want to eat in the restaurant and need a snack.Theres no refrigerator so shop wisely.

  • Review 72 (2024-09-18 - Rating: 5)

Room was kind of small but since I only slept there, it was ok. Breakfast was good with just the right amount of selections. Location is in Tribecca. 3 block from World Trade Memorial and maybe 6 blocks from Brooklyn Bridge.

  • Review 73 (2017-07-04 - Rating: 5)

This hotel is a great place to stay while visiting NYC, it was a pleasant surprise to see a premium look all over the place for such a good price. I would recommend it. But keep in mind all changes in lenght of stay time have to be notified 24hrs prior. I will definitely come back.

  • Review 74 (2021-10-13 - Rating: 5)

Rooms are a little small, but its NY. Hotel staff friendly and accommodating, gave us umbrellas to use on a rainy day and stored our luggage for us.

  • Review 75 (2018-09-09 - Rating: 5)

Great accommodations. The room size was small, but laid out well. The staff was extremely friendly and fast. We had no issues with our stay.

  • Review 76 (2019-07-09 - Rating: 4)

This place could do with an update. The rooms are not very big so you pay for the location. The room was clean and the bathroom is great, but the corridors smell old and dated. Friendly staff.

  • Review 77 (2018-12-29 - Rating: 5)

Amazing hotel! Amazing management! Stayed at the Frederick many times and I love it. Also, I really like the location, very close to Soho, great restaurants, bars and etc. 5 starts and there is no doubt!

  • Review 78 (2018-08-08 - Rating: 5)

Boutique hotel in Tribeca right next to the 1, 2 and 3 subway station. Its a block to the A and C line, and 10 minutes to the 4, 5 and 6 lines. The free internet averages 3mb per second, which is adequate for video conferencing but possibly too slow for video streaming. The paid internet offers much faster speeds but seems expensive at $10 per 24 hours. The staff are very friendly and the hotel offers an intimate vibe that is so lacking in the chain hotels. The bed mattress and quality linens ensured a good nights sleep every night during my 13 night stay.

  • Review 79 (2018-11-04 - Rating: 5)

Staff is really nice and welcoming, the rooms are big enough and cute. The whole is charming and really clean. On top, you re in a good location. I will definitely come back when i ll be back in nyc.

  • Review 81 (2024-07-11 - Rating: 5)

My experience at the frederick hotel was incredible! The location is amazing and there is a metro station right outside of the lobby, the breakfast selections are fantastic. The rooms are beautifully designed. The rooftop offers stunning views, and all the cocktails are handcrafted with fresh ingredients.

  • Review 82 (2023-08-08 - Rating: 4)

  • Review 85 (2024-07-08 - Rating: 4)

The Frederick Hotel is an upscale 4-star hotel in the Tribeca Neighborhood in lower Manhattan. Rooms were clean and elegant decor. My only complaint would be that our king-size room was extremely small. However, I loved the bathroom. It was clean with a rain-type shower head and a map of Manhattan on the shower tiles. The location was very ideal to lower Manhattan surrounded by multiple restaurants, a Target, a CVS, Wholefoods, and nail/hair salons. The World Trade Center Memorial, Museum, and Shopping Center were only 5 blocks away. An added bonus is that the train subway station is in front of the hotel, which made it very accessible. I would recommend this hotel.

The Frederick Hotel is an absolute gem. Affordable, charming, in a great neighborhood, right on the subway, very clean with great amenities. The staff are all extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. The continental breakfast is really elaborate, much more than the standard bagel/cereal/banana --- theres fruit, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, croissants, toast, yogurt, coffee, tea, orange juice. Wonderful! This was my second stay at the Frederick, and I definitely plan on returning. Many thanks!

  • Review 131 (2024-04-13 - Rating: 4)

We had a really nice stay, so let me explain why I’m giving it 4 stars even if yes, I would consider coming back here again in the future. The shower pressure in our room was so extremely weak that I was able to wash my hair only once throughout all my stay. That was extremely annoying as someone else with long or a lot of hair will 100% go through the same issue. The AC/heater unit in the room was out of control as well. It would change on its own during the night, making the room very humid while it was impossible to open the windows (facing another wall so that was not helping with the humidity). I basically got sore throat and congested nose very fast so bear this in mind.Another FYI: (most likely not the hotel’s fault) is that we booked through Expedia so if you are considering too not booking through the hotel website, PLEASE be aware of hidden fees! At the time of booking, the very last screen before the transaction clearly pointed out that ALL FEES were included, and that breakfast was included as well.Only after we received the email confirming the payment there was then a fine print saying an additional $40 PER NIGHT was going to be charged to our credit card. Not optional. And that would have covered the previously “included” breakfast! It’s not a fee you can just decide not to pay as it also covers WiFi cleaning etc so please please, be careful, especially if your stay is long. They will always find a way to scam you.Overall besides the above it was a very pleasant stay but of course it could be improved, especially given the gigantic price you pay to sleep in Manhattan now that AirB&B is not an option anymore.

  • Review 132 (2017-08-10 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic location, incredibly nice and helpful staff, nice rooms. I would highly recommend staying here!

  • Review 133 (2024-04-30 - Rating: 5)

The Frederick is an amazing hotel. We had a corner King room and it was very spacious, airy and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. The size of the room was really perfect especially for NY standards. The hotel is in Tribeca which was a new area for us but we loved it. There are great restaurants and bakeries in the area and Tribeca is very laid back. Dont miss Frenchette Bakery! Also the famous Odeon restaurant is down the street I would stay there immediately again and that will be sooner than later. I highly recommend this hotel.

They give you vouchers for a continental breakfast at Serafina and offer great local deals if you book through their website. The hotel itself is on top of the 1, 2, 3 line and well located to the Financial District, Brooklyn Bridge, Tribeca, Lower East Side, and West Village and ensures that you have easy access to anything you want to do in the city.

I was pleasantly surprised by this boutique hotel. The lobby is small and stylish with friendly front desk staff. There is also a cute hotel bar with a lounge type vibe and great cocktails. The rooms are small but the high ceilings and smart decor compensate for the cozy size. They left a handwritten note with chocolates which created a personalized experience. It’s conveniently located near many train lines (right above 1/2/3 and a block from A/C/E). I will consider this property as a go-to hotel when visiting NYC.

  • Review 155 (2023-05-16 - Rating: 5)
