    Headline: for sure a top-tier rooftop in NYC, amazing views, good service, places to sit, blankets when it was cold, nice cocktails — we had a $75 per person minimumDetails: I pride myself on knowing my rooftops and I’ve explored dozens of them through Manhattan. This one definitely stands towards the top — it covers two sides of the building, with views of the One World Trade Center and also the Empire State. It’s a covered roof, but with no weird glass barriers that block or impede the view. There’s good seating, but it’s not a free rooftop ($75 minimum) so brace for that. I made a reservation request around 12pm on a Sunday, and I got an email with the confirmation around 5pm. Honestly not much more to say other than: come! It’s a great rooftop. Our server was lovely, they gave us complimentary blankets because it was a bit chilly. The music was actually quite good and not too loud so you could actually talk. It’s just that there’s seating and it’s comfortable — makes it a great rooftop experience. And you know what: the chips and guac was great too.

    We booked a reservation here to welcome our friends to NY which they have a minimum spend. Our favorite was the drink called Unhinged; it was perfect, and the snacks were good too. However, we were sometimes very annoyed when people crossed over our table to stand by the balcony. There was a guy and two girls who asked if they could use one chair to sit for a second, and we were like, ‘Okay, that’s fine,’ but then he took another chair and lifted it over my head, which I wasn’t okay with because we paid for the table and they didn’t really care. However, thanks to our server Demitria, who helped us a lot by getting the people out of our table and recommending perfect drinks and shots.Also, we think they should communicate better with other staff. There was one girl who they told us was still training. She was telling us to move out of the table because other people had made a reservation, and when we asked for the check, she told us twice that they had already given the credit card back. Luckily, our server found it.

    Great terrace with amazing views! only downside was that we went with the impression there was a “sunset happy hour” per their website but upon arrival no happy hour. drinks end up being $25-30 each with tip and are served in plastic cups. yes you’re paying for the view but the plastic cheapens the bar aspect.

    Easily one of my favorite rooftops in NYC. This place is a must stop if you’re visiting. You have stunning views of downtown and midtown (please look at my pictures I’m proud of these ones haha). The service is great and the cocktails are delicious. It’s located in the fabulous Public hotel. If you’re visiting I recommend staying here so you get priority access with reservations. We came on a Wednesday at 6pm and had no issues getting a spot to drink some yummy cocktails.

    The Roof is an oasis in Lower Manhattan with overpriced drinks and spectacular views. There’s some business accessing the elevator from a side entrance all in an effort to create a sense of exclusivity. Bar and wait staff are relatively helpful but service was not distinguished.

    Even though there were on only Heineken bottles, the place is a pure treat. 295° views (totally made that up) of lower Manhattan gorgeousness.Great and attentice staff. Fantab drinks.Make sure you use the bathroom - its an experience.The only vegan food I fiund were herbed fries. They were great, but not sure if theyre truly vegan!

    Gorgeous rooftop in downtown Manhattan. The entrance is towards the left of the hotel from the street entrance. We reached around 9pm and line was manageable on a Saturday night. Our group of 13 had a great time at the rooftop and we had a blast. We were celebrating a Birthday and ordered drinks, appetizers, and Champagne. Views are stunning from here of Midtown skyline and downtown skyline. The hotel escalators have excellent lighting and we would check that out next time.

    Such a fun night!! Totally made for summer!! Its a little expensive but worth it! You get an amazing view from the top, you get view of WTC and Empire State Building. There is this amazing interior and some unique elevator space where u can click really good pictures!! The entrance for rooftop is from the side if the hotel, the main entrance will take you to the hotel not THE ROOF! To book a table make sure you start looking in advance since the reservations go out really quick.

    Wow, what a view! Ive been to many NYC rooftop bars, but this place definitely has one of the best views in the city. Uptown, downtown, and crosstown views of Manhattan to die for. Unfortunately, the staff is quite pretentious and drinks are WAY overpriced (considering roof top bars are a dime-a-dozen these days in NYC). The entrance is also hard to find. Unless your staying at the hotel, you have to enter through the back door, which is out by the parking lot.

    We recommend! Very beautiful place, romantic, delicious drinks, the security guard at the bottom Ivan is attractive and friendly, his face looks like James Bond, he will always tell you everything. Excellent service loved it

    The Roof offers pretty spectacular views and in fact pretty great cocktails too. A little pricey but to be honest youll pay the same somewhere without the great 360° view. Note: you usually need to enter through the parking lot, not the main hotel entrance, but people seem to find the main entrance escalators pretty compelling fo da insta so take a detour if you need this to be a part of your experience.

    This place “The Roof” made our Year 2023 already! Classy ambiance inside, incredible lower Manhattan’s view in one side & Queen’s in other side made us feel like we’re at one of the best rooftops. Not only this, also the total vibe from stepping inside the hotel walking to the rooftop amazed me & my wife a lot! In addition, great friendly behavior of their hosts also counts!In total, this is a MUST GO place in winter time to spend quality time with your beloved peoples!

    Chris H on the rooftop was seriously an amazing dude. Not only as a server but he was so friendly and helpful. Walked us to a wonderful spot without reservations and assured us we can sit without worry of not having one. He even made us an origami swan! Truly added to such a terrific vibe this place offers. I would most definitely return and hope Chris was here again.

    Amazing view, great vibe! But we ordered gin and tonic last night, bartender gave us gin and soda instead. It took me a few sips to understand it wasn’t gin and tonic. Then the bartender said “oh yeah we ran out of tonic”. Not sure why he didn’t give a heads up before making our drinks.

    Reviewing for the rooftop bar:It is one of the most breathtaking rooftops I have been to in the city. Because of this, it is the perfect place to take pictures for my buddies Hinge profiles. Hahahahahaha. See attached pictures, we got some great shots. All my homies cute though so its easy.My only complaint about this is that in order to go outside, you need to buy a drink and there are only 2 bartenders so it takes FOREVER. It literally took us 20 minutes to get 3 beers. Crazy.$12 for a beer which is to be expected in a place like this.Once you step into the deck area, the view is immaculate. Skyline everywhere you look.We sat up here from the late afternoon until dusk, just taking in the views and taking pics ahahahahaha.You could take in the views for an eternity.The crowd here is very boujee and pretentious (I write as I have a prada bag on my shoulder, haha) so if thats not your type of people maybe choose another spot.As we were getting set to leave, this Swedish lady walks up to the 3 of us (3 on 1) and starts hitting on my buddy, it was so beast. The way she did it though was the most finesse things Ive ever seen, and I for one was inspired. I make too many excuses.All in all, a great spot to watch a sunset and have a drink!

    I came to The Roof for my friend’s birthday & actually had a fun time. Mostly it was because our server, i believe her name was Kelly, made our time there without stress & actually added to the fun with her great bubbly personality & attentiveness to our needs to keep our celebration going! The music was great too!! Would definitely return to this place.

    The Roof is a whole vibe. Views are 10/10, drinks are 10/10 and the decor is wild.Showed up right before sunset and squeezed in without a reservation. Would recommend making one because it filled up real fast.Grab a few cocktails, enjoy the views and the music. Wish I had stayed longer. Will be returning.

    One of my go to spots. Ambience is great, and the view is awesome. Drinks are a little pricey for the area but it is on top of a hotel so i guess it is to be expected somewhat. Coat check was suuuuuper slow this passed weekend for some reason. The managment is great also. Other than that, I am a fan. Definitely recommend it as a place to head out for a fun night.

    Gorgeous location! Decent choice of drinks but nothing to die for. Bar tenders and bouncers have quite an annoying attitude; but thats just the norm at so many places like that. Another annoying detail: as hotel guests, we cant just go up and down on our own. We have to use the dedicated elevator that goes from G to the 18th floor. This means that it can take up to 10 minutes to just go back to the room to use the restroom and come back, for example, as we need to wait with a bunch of other people and get into crowded elevator cars. Its a detail but after coming here 5 nights in a row just for a quick drink, its a bit ridiculous and enough to make me give 4 stars, even if the place is great!

    This bar is ideal for my taste. Chill and urban vibes with the comfortable amount of fancy mixed in. I wasnt crazy about a signature coctail(maybe it was good but wasnt my taste), so I had gin martinis which were really strong but reaally good.     A solid spot to hang out with a group with some music. Inside has a dance floor that wasn’t very packed, but decent music. Great views. If it’s too crowded, check out the bar in the lobby or the 2nd floor for some spaces to hang out.More of a pre-club hangout spot or somewhere to talk and catch up. Had a good time, reasonable line at the bar. Cocktails were a little weak, but good flavors.

    The bar has very nice aesthetics and a great view of the city. The drinks are also very tasty. I don’t drink a lot of alcohol so usually when I try a cocktail the taste of the alcohol is too much so I often can’t finish my drinks, but here the drinks don’t taste super strong.

    I wasn’t able to write a review on the hotel page so I’m hoping I can write one here about Aaron who is the epitome of customer service. I had a couple issues with check in due to some incorrect information I received and he kindly and efficiently helped me resolve all of my issues as quickly as possible. Considering I just came off of a 2 hour delayed flight and has some issues with my bank. I’m so grateful that I was greeted and helped by him, he turned a bad night into an amazing one and I’m extremely grateful.

    Nice place for cocktails. We were there between 8 to 9:30. The barman told us it gets crowded after that.We left because we dont like it when it gets too crowded. If youre there before 9:30 its definitely easy to get in and its a 5 star place. If I was single I would have stayed a bit. Seems fun.
