Shannon was AMAZING! We had the best time. She was so welcoming, helpful, hospitable, and friendly. We love the Wren and their seasonal and regular drink selection. We had the best time. Come to the Wren!

Amazing! I highly recommend this spot!We visited for brunch and were impressed by the diverse selection of dishes and appetizers. The flavors were delightful, and the cooking was expertly done. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, even the beet-based one, which turned out to be surprisingly tasty! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just as enjoyable. This is definitely a go-to destination for great food and a memorable experience!

  • Review 3 (2024-11-06 - Rating: 5)

Nice atmosphere! Menus pretty limited but the drinks menu more than makes up for it

  • Review 4 (2024-03-25 - Rating: 4)

This place has a lovely vibe and feels cozy, especially with all the candles. Its a great spot for drinks and food. I gave it 4 stars because the menu doesnt offer many options for vegetarians or people with gluten sensitivities.

  • Review 5 (2021-07-01 - Rating: 5)

Great cocktails, amazing vibe and excellent service. Opens at 4pm, we came in early and had to wait from a nearby place. It was worth the wait.Clean bathroom, spacious and great vibe with real flowers.I had the old fashioned and it was strong. My friend had the spa water and absolutely loved it.We had come for the cocktails!!

  • Review 6 (2024-08-07 - Rating: 5)

First and foremost, Chel is the BEST server ever. Super welcoming environment that makes me want to keep coming back to the wren. I was having trouble deciding on a drink and the bartenders Maxwell and Cash made me a PERFECT drink. Great bar to come hang with friends and enjoy a chill night. The popcorn chicken is a must order

  • Review 7 (2021-07-25 - Rating: 5)

Cute bar with wood paneling - seating goes in much deeper than you think. Drinks and good were good, and they have nice eucalyptus leaves to smell as you chat :D Wait staff is nice too - the waitress got me a bag of ice for my toe because I sat down on my bar stool with my toe under one of the legs.... so if you go, watch out for that cuz anything can happen 🙃

  • Review 8 (2017-02-11 - Rating: 5)

Lovely little place. Came here for brunch on a Saturday, around midday. We had bubble & squeak and the mushroom scramble plus a side of bacon. Drinks were great, lovely cocktails and really nice hot and spiced apple cider. Great food, really attentive staff, perfect way to end our trip.

  • Review 9 (2024-09-02 - Rating: 5)

I just want to say addi was an absolute doll she was very sweet and attentive to my table. I have a severe seafood allergy and she was EXTREMELY accommodating. I got the shrimp salad with no shrimp and it was delicious!!! Great food. Excellent service. Love you Adeline!!!

  • Review 10 (2024-10-16 - Rating: 5)

Amazing drinks, food and service! Stopped in here for happy hour and got apps and drinks. Max the bartender was top tier with service and crafting our drinks! Would definitely come back!

  • Review 11 (2018-01-28 - Rating: 4)

Great place for weekend brunch. Cozy atmosphere with an eclectic art style. The seating was a little cramped, but then again we were a group of nine people. We ordered french presses for the table, and I ordered a regular Bloody Mary. Both coffee and booze tasted awesome. For food I ordered the bulgur wheat pancakes topped with ricotta and seasonal fruit, and the bourbon churros to share. The churros were out of this world delicious! The pancakes were pretty good too, just very filling. Not a full 5 stars only because it’s a little on the pricey side for brunch, and the seating was tight, but all in all a good experience, I’d go again.

  • Review 12 (2018-10-21 - Rating: 5)

Good vibe and drink. Nice menu for brunch and not to busy for the table of 2. Their bar seats very nice actually. This was our option B that day but we were so happy and will come back definitely! We order french toast and mushroom scamble eggs withi side of bacon. Everything is just so nice and quick.

  • Review 13 (2024-07-16 - Rating: 5)

This has been one of my favorite bars in the neighborhood for years. The drinks and food are on point! Rachel behind the bar is an absolute gem. She is always welcoming and attentive with her kind smile and great attitude. A real asset to the Wren.

  • Review 14 (2022-11-10 - Rating: 4)

Really love this environment, super cute aesthetic of a restaurant with a large venue. Great spot for dinner, happy hour, or more. Have gotten both food and drinks here but really love the drinks. Really enjoy there espresso martinis and cucumber drinks. Overall I definitely recommend!! Great service and great vibes.

  • Review 15 (2024-06-22 - Rating: 5)

Pretty cool place, but nothing to write home about. The ambiance and vibes stood out the most. Our waitress was MIA for a while and then came over after we had to go get her and said, “What do you want?” so that was a bit off-putting, but still a pretty good time!

  • Review 16 (2018-06-14 - Rating: 4)

What’s better than avocado toast topped with a fried egg? Absolutely loved the avocado toast. We also ordered a side of fries which were perfectly salted. Fresh arugula salad on the side, outdoor seating and sangria - what more can you ask for? Amazing spot.

  • Review 17 (2024-07-25 - Rating: 5)

Chel is such a wonderful server for real, made the experience so lovely. She really really took care of our table and made the experience a 10/10. Great drinks and atmosphere!!!

  • Review 18 (2024-10-20 - Rating: 5)

Rachel was our server and so wonderful, she is the goat!!! The cauliflower is to die for and cocktails were all amazing 10/10

  • Review 19 (2024-10-20 - Rating: 5)

Rachel is an absolute gem! The food and drinks were outstanding of course, but our experience was made amazing by our reserve Rachel.

  • Review 20 (2024-10-20 - Rating: 5)

We had the best time at the Wren. Our server Rachel was the best server. So attentive and exceptionally kind. I would come back just for Rachel!

  • Review 21 (2024-10-13 - Rating: 4)

Really great cocktails & amazing atmosphere

  • Review 22 (2024-07-25 - Rating: 5)

CHEL IS REALLY TRULY AND HONESTLY THE BEST SERVER I’ve encountered in my two months in the city. Adaptable, friendly, great at anticipating needs. We simply have no choice but to stan. Best cartwheel on the LES

  • Review 23 (2023-06-10 - Rating: 5)

I dare say the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, and I’m quite the chicken sandwich connoisseur! The burger was also phenomenal. Good outdoor ambiance!

  • Review 24 (2023-10-07 - Rating: 5)

Ziggy is the most fun and friendly bartender! She made my birthday extra enjoyable! The happy Hour Gin and Tonics are a treat!

  • Review 25 (2024-10-29 - Rating: 5)

Great after work drink for many occasions - business, solo, date. Outside or inside seating. Go to.

  • Review 26 (2024-01-04 - Rating: 4)

Stopped in here after a comedy show and it was the perfect late night spot. Romantic atmosphere with an extensive cocktail menu and the kitchen is open late. We ended up getting beers on draft and the popcorn chicken. The chicken was clearly fresh not frozen and came with a delicious dipping sauce. Became crowded around 9:45pm despite it being a Wednesday night.

  • Review 27 (2024-07-20 - Rating: 5)

RACHEL THE REDHEAD is the absolute best server ever - every single day she’s here, I come for work happy hour, I sit in my corner table and she’s slinging the best service and drinks - cheers to her and the wren, it wouldn’t be the same without her!!

  • Review 28 (2024-05-22 - Rating: 5)

Some of the better cocktails Ive had in NY, with large portions of high quality food. And the service is A+. Love this place! The wrenquila is phenomenal.

  • Review 29 (2021-10-27 - Rating: 5)

Super comfortable place for your Saturday brunch or an evening out with friends. I’ve been here quite a few times, and I’ve enjoyed the service every single time I’ve been.

  • Review 30 (2024-07-19 - Rating: 5)

Great food and drinks here, Addie was our server and she was exceptional. Highly recommend

  • Review 31 (2024-07-25 - Rating: 5)

Red head Chel was the most charismatic server I’ve ever had!! This was my first time here and I will absolutely be coming back

  • Review 32 (2023-11-25 - Rating: 5)

I am a bartender, this bar has GREAT GREAT cocktails highly recommended! I like the cocktail with orange juice and the one thats clarified. (Forgot the names) havent had decent cocktails for so long but love it here! Great bar bites too.

  • Review 33 (2024-11-03 - Rating: 5)

Loved this place, the food and the service were superb. Well recommended!

  • Review 34 (2023-07-16 - Rating: 5)

Hosted an event in their downstairs room and it was great! Elizabeth who does their special events was phenomenal to work with and was so communicative throughout the entire process. Maxwell who was the manager on the night of the event was so kind and helpful. The whole staff was great. Only thing I’d say is that the downstairs room is said to fit max 50 people for a private event and we had 30 and any more would’ve been tight.

  • Review 35 (2024-08-30 - Rating: 5)

Food is unexpectedly good! The chicken sandwich on the brunch menu is heaven sent. Love when they have DJ in the secret basement. It’s so chic! The staff are all really hot but cool. Also the color palette reminds me of a freshly poured Guinness in a really good way.

  • Review 36 (2023-02-11 - Rating: 5)

Great design, chill atmosphere. The staff are consummate professionals. The cocktails are sublime, but what Ill forever remember about this place is that they make the greatest turkey club sandwich of all time. I mean, I just wanted a snack to go with my drinks, but then they go ahead and shatter everything I thought I knew about bar food and serve me a sandwich that made me consider the existence of a god again. Dont doubt me. Order this sandwich, and thank me later.

  • Review 37 (2024-07-19 - Rating: 5)

Addie was an amazing host for us, she was incredibly accommodating to our friend’s birthday. Thank you Addie!!!

  • Review 38 (2023-05-08 - Rating: 4)

Nice spot and great vibes for date night or cocktails with friends. Drinks are excellent! We didnt have a reservation so we will have to come back to try the food. Enjoy!

  • Review 39 (2023-05-17 - Rating: 5)

Had to kill a bit of time before a flight, saw a bar with (literally) my name on it, and decided to drop in for a drink to see if it was worth visiting. Delighted to say yes, it absolutely is. The cocktails were delicious. The food was pretty good! I would maybe add mustard or something spicier to the veggie burger. But the bartenders and staff are really what made this random couple of hours in NYC really fantastic. Thank you to Kianni, Tyson, Liz, Sav, and everyone else for creating an ambiance of fun, and serving up great recommendations with very casual, friendly hospitality. They went above and beyond to find me some Wren merch to bring back home, too. Will recommend this spot to my city friends and hope to come back to it someday!

  • Review 40 (2022-12-06 - Rating: 5)

Great First Date Spot! Cozy Atmosphere, dim lighting. Attentive and very friendly Service. Bar was busy on a rainy Sat afternoon. Come for the drinks, not the food though, burger was decent (bun was soggy). Fries were spot on!!!

  • Review 41 (2023-04-22 - Rating: 5)

Great bar for happy hour or late night. Always has a nice ambiance and solid cocktails.

  • Review 42 (2022-06-21 - Rating: 5)

This place has a rustic feel. When you first walk in there the wooden floors give you a feeling of entering an old rustic cabin. The staff is very friendly and the food and drinks are very good. A bit pricey but on par for the area. Definitely recommend

  • Review 43 (2022-07-22 - Rating: 5)

Great drinks options.Very strong drinks.Overall good experience.

  • Review 44 (2024-08-12 - Rating: 5)

The Wren is probably one of my new favorite bars in the city! Not only is the place aesthetically beautiful and vibey, the service was amazing. Both Brenna and Addi, who were our hostess and server were so sweet and informative about the menu. The drinks were amazing and they probably make one of the best little burgers I have had at a bar! This will definitely be my go to spot going forward and I highly recommend.

  • Review 45 (2023-03-23 - Rating: 5)

The Wren is always great. Bar food made excellently. You get a grilled cheese and tomato soup thinking it will be good and it’s actually the greatest soup you’ve had in your life. Cocktails are A+ as well.

  • Review 46 (2022-02-11 - Rating: 5)

What a great brunch spot with excellent service! I had the brunch BLT and it was delicious, especially with their super thick bacon. They also serve micheladas!!! I got mine with a shot of mezcal too (obviously). I was a little worried when I realized that our reservation was for a table on the patio, but we were very comfortable and warm on a particularly cold and windy day. Highly recommend!

  • Review 47 (2022-06-17 - Rating: 5)

Great food and drinks. Knowledge and pleasant bar tenders.Beautiful indoors.

  • Review 48 (2024-10-12 - Rating: 5)

The experience was only good because of the bartender Cash!

  • Review 49 (2018-08-08 - Rating: 5)

Love the vibe here! They were really quick with our orders and werent busy at brunch time at all. The aesthetic of the place is really nice too. I got the trout salad and it was delicious! The poached egg made it even better. Also got a side of egg whites. The waitress was really nice and seemed really cheerful. Would defs come back here again :)

  • Review 51 (2016-06-29 - Rating: 5)

Great place for brunch, usually not a long wait for brunch maybe 15-20 minutes. The atmosphere was laid back, cozy and lovely. The staffs are friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and yummy. Their drinks was great too. Overall great experience and food was amazing.

  • Review 52 (2019-05-25 - Rating: 5)

Great food and fast service. Pics should be enough to justify a visit. Will definitely be back, Saturday brunch here was on point.

  • Review 53 (2013-05-29 - Rating: 4)

One of those not so hidden gems on the Bowery. This Irish bar is really unique because its not dive-y yet draws in a good mix of patrons. Both my evening and daytime visits have been great. The bartenders are attentive and the food is surprisingly delicious. For your evening visits, the cocktails are inventive and divine. Feel free to order a snack while youre there. I thought the best bang for your buck would be their beef jerky. I know that sounds strange but its a must try and share with friends kind of item. Plus, their Full Irish Breakfast is a real treat! The black pudding is fantastic if you can muster up the courage to take a bite. As for the $6 brunch cocktails from 12p-2p, its a welcomed addition to your weekend meal. I dig this place and cant wait to have next my next visit. Cheers, indeed!

  • Review 54 (2024-09-17 - Rating: 5)

Went for happy hour cocktails which were excellent and unique. Nice relaxed service and atmosphere. Brisket croquettes were very good too.

  • Review 55 (2020-02-16 - Rating: 5)

Only had drinks here but the experience itself was pretty great. The prices, got NYC, werent that bad and they can mix up some pretty decent drinks. The place is a bit crowded but if you get a seat your going to love it. The music and staff are really fun and give it an overall great vibe!

  • Review 56 (2023-12-31 - Rating: 5)

This is one of my favorite bars in NYC - very chill either indoors or out front. Good cocktails but also a nice craft beer selection. Almost never too crowded. A gem in a neighborhood that’s sometimes oppressively full of tourists. If I’m in lower Manhattan and I have time I’ll roll by for a drink.

  • Review 57 (2022-09-10 - Rating: 4)

The service was very friendly and accommodating for brunch. The drinks were made well, and the food didnt disappoint in flavor. However, I did feel like the meals were a bit undersized.

  • Review 58 (2019-04-22 - Rating: 5)

This place has probably the best full Irish breakfast in New York!Came here on a Saturday for brunch. No wait for 2 people. Ordered, and food was served in 5 minutes. The portion is huge for New York standard. Two of us ordered mushroom egg scramble, full Irish breakfast and French press coffee (enough for 2-3 people). The mushroom egg scramble is so cheesy and creamy, and it comes with fresh salad and crispy bread slices. As for full Irish breakfast, the best part is the thick bacon slices, which taste just like the bacon at Wolfgang’s, crispy and flavorful! The service here is also very friendly. Will definitely come back for drinks and another brunch

  • Review 59 (2018-12-13 - Rating: 5)

A shabby-chic classic Irish pub with a surprisingly hearty brunch menu. Dishes are savory, rich, and sometimes sweet. Always filling and well worth the price. Sunday Brunch is relatively quiet. This may be the best hidden-in-plain-sight brunch spot in the Bowery! If you go for evening cocktails, they only have Irish on tap, but ask for the ginnroses cocktail. Its an aromatic masterpiece for someone who isnt quite on the fruity cosmopolitan train, but also doesnt do the whole whiskey on the rocks thing. Overall a pleasant experience. Romantic ambiance in the evening, but a walk through time in the day. Highly recommended for locals and tourists alike.

  • Review 60 (2024-10-20 - Rating: 5)

Rachel was amazing, she made our whole experience one of the best I’ve ever had in New York. I can’t wait to come back to see her!

  • Review 61 (2022-09-25 - Rating: 4)

Downstairs can be closed for private party, which was what we did. The experience was good the good wasnt great (but as a private party the food was sort of buffet style that was eventually left cold though). Drinks are fine.

  • Review 62 (2018-08-24 - Rating: 4)

Cocktails were good but a bit pricey, food was good (had the pulled pork and the pickle platter). Young hipsters crowd and a little overcrowded. They did seat us without our full party which is rare, so that was appreciated.

  • Review 63 (2022-09-12 - Rating: 4)

Cute bar around east village/les 〰️ got shishito peppers, fried cauliflowers, and fish n chip. shishito peppers were a bit too sour (confirmed by my friend). fried cauliflowers were the best; so crispy. fish n chip was average.for drinks, i got midnight espresso which was soooo impressive and i was still able to sleep at night 🎈

  • Review 64 (2022-05-23 - Rating: 4)

The weather in NY was hot and we just wanted to take a seat, have a bite and drink. This is the first place we cross by, and went for it. Im glad we did, it was ok and Im not sure if Id come back especifically to this place, but it wasnt a disappointment. The service was really good and we get at a time when there were many tables available. The drinks were really good and the food is ok. The Brussel sprouts different from other versions with cranberries and pumpkin seeds was really tasty and really good. Btw, one hour later this place was packed. Ill invite it try this place.

  • Review 65 (2016-10-31 - Rating: 5)

Came here to grab drinks before a 7:30 PM Sat show. Atmosphere was laid back but energetic. People filled the place, but wasnt overly crowded. Found a high top table past the bar which was perfect for our group. Service was friendly and quick. We ordered fried calamari & zucchini, Wren Snack Board, and the Wren Snack Mix. All were great noshes to satisfy our munchies before the show. Also ordered one of their non-alcoholic drinks and had rum added (they all sounded so tasty!). Would come back again.

  • Review 66 (2024-03-25 - Rating: 4)

A nice place to hang out with friends, but the bar area was a bit cramped and the beer selection was limited. Still, we had a good time overall.

  • Review 67 (2013-05-14 - Rating: 5)

This was a great place for dinner on a Saturday night with girlfriends. There was a bit of a wait, but the cocktails at the bar are very tasty so no real hardship there. The dinner menu is short but very high-quality - I cant recommend the fries with malt vinegar mayonnaise highly enough (but I am British, so you should take that bias into account...). I had the cockles and mussels dish as my entree, which seemed like an unusual option and was delicious. My friend raved about the burger too - one of the best shes had in NYC. Definitely recommended!

  • Review 68 (2024-07-30 - Rating: 5)

The food and cocktails here are great. We had Addy as a server and she was a delight. It perfect meal to stop in for or stay for awhile!

  • Review 69 (2017-03-24 - Rating: 5)

We were seated at a totally cute table near the front door. Our waitress, Gina, was super personable. The fish and chips was delicious! Id definitely go again.

  • Review 70 (2018-05-20 - Rating: 4)

Nice bar/restaurant with a solid brunch offering. There’s some extra seating tucked away at the back, and tables in front on the Bowery which is nice on a Summer day.He food is hearty and generously proportioned. One minor issue was some of the bread we were given was moldy, but the waitstaff were extremely professional and turned the situation around with a genuine apology and removed the whole meal from our bill: much more than expected and improved our whole experience. We’ll give it another go when we’re in the area, although the other minor quibble is there is no espresso machine. All the coffee is French Press.

  • Review 71 (2024-08-15 - Rating: 5)

Very good space and great cocktails, if you order off their list. Would like to try the food.

  • Review 72 (2024-10-19 - Rating: 5)

Had my birthday here a couple of years ago and the staff and vibes were both 12/10. Couldn’t recommend them more for an event!!

  • Review 73 (2018-11-26 - Rating: 5)

I have an affinity for upscale Irish pubs, so I admit I’m already inclined to like places like The Wren, and The Wren didn’t disappoint. We went for mid afternoon drinks. The space is welcoming and comforting, the menu offers plenty of options for different palettes, and the drinks were well-made and generous.

  • Review 74 (2020-12-09 - Rating: 5)

Perfect timing..no wait, great service and delicious mulled wine@ definitely come back only on weekdays

  • Review 75 (2024-10-20 - Rating: 5)

Rachel my strawberry queen 🩷 she’s the absolute best, service was immaculate. Her energy made our night!

  • Review 76 (2013-03-20 - Rating: 5)

This place is great for brunch. Its got that rustic almost Irish feel to it. Try the pancakes with ricotta and fruit and make sure you get yourself the coffee in the french press. The full irish is amazing as well. You get a very well rounded meal with eggs, toast, blood pudding, beans, and slabs of bacon that would make the guys at Epic Meal Time proud.

  • Review 77 (2018-06-06 - Rating: 5)

I visited NYC for a weekend and this was in the top five bars. The bar itself is cool, but what makes it unique is the crowd. The crowd is young and sophisticated. Expect more of a mid to late twenties crowd. Definitely worth a stop for a drink.

  • Review 78 (2024-12-15 - Rating: 5)

    Really good food & service!

  • Review 79 (2023-12-17 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 80 (2018-04-21 - Rating: 5)

Very nice bar in between Greenwich village and Easy Village. The ambiance is very chilled and the bar is filled with young people having a drink friends. Prices are correct (c. 8$ per drink). There is a restaurant area in the back that I have not tried yet.

  • Review 81 (2024-08-30 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic service with the best Guinness and staff! Fries are also so great.

  • Review 82 (2024-09-10 - Rating: 4)

Special cocktails. Outdoor seating available and is what makes a difference! Service is patchy the waitresses are better than the waiter however they still charged us full price instead of a discounted price at happy hour for our three wren cocktails which we only discovered afterwards. Also we found it strange that the wren cocktail which we learned to be a batch prep can be crystal clear one day and very opaque and milky the next day (the cocktail is a dark pink color) although the taste dows not change very much, still a bit strange!?

  • Review 83 (2016-12-14 - Rating: 5)

Pleasant and attentive staff. Rustic low-light setting creates a cozy feel. A little loud as expected of a bar at 10pm. Good selection of beers, cocktails, and food (not all that expensive by NYC standards).

  • Review 84 (2019-11-10 - Rating: 5)

I was at the wren and the bar tender DIEGO is excelent! He has a great servir with us ! I just love it he’s awesome

  • Review 85 (2022-09-24 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 86 (2021-05-02 - Rating: 4)

The price is definitely a little high... but the food quality was excellent. Small portions... but delicious. Everyone was super friendly! Our server wasn’t super available to us tho. But the other ppl, like the hostess, kept tabs on us

  • Review 87 (2024-11-16 - Rating: 4)

Food was ok, service was great but very loud spot for after work drinks.

  • Review 88 (2020-01-07 - Rating: 5)

I went to The Wren as a recommendation from a long time friend of mine. She said that I would like the atmosphere. I loved the atmosphere and so much more. My family and I were welcomed warmly from the start. We were immediately brought to the table during a busy brunch hour. The waitress was so lovely as well. The tea was served in beautiful tea cups. The irish coffee was on point smooth! The waffle with berries and the scramble were perfect dishes (that bacon is thiccc!). The energy, the staff and the environment was awesome. The next time I visit I’m going to try out the Irish Platter and then try some Irish whiskey. Overall experience is 10/10.

  • Review 89 (2023-11-19 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 90 (2023-01-22 - Rating: 5)

Loved the wren for brunch! Probably the best BLT Ive had. Beautiful tables by the window and good service.

A very chic spot for brunch/lunch/dinner. They have relatively healthy options, good espresso coffee and a good selection of beer and wine. Friendly and helpful staff. Great rustic decor.

Rachel - the red head - “Chel” - is the best! She gave us the best service, attention, and hospitality!!! The best part of our night!

  • Review 93 (2014-12-02 - Rating: 4)

As crowded as this place gets, it is still fun. The scene is always good and they have great drinks. They offer warm winter cocktails and the space is big enough that you can usually find a place to sit.

Perfect stop on our Saturday trek around the East Village. The Rasberry Beret (sparkling wine, strawberry and raspberry liqueurs, Cocchi Americano Rosa, and Peychaud Bitters served in a Coupe) and Ruby Rose Spritz (Martin Miller Gin, Aperol, Rose Liqueur, Schofferhofer Grapefruit Beer served in a Highball) We also enjoyed a nosh too.

Rachel Z. is an absolute rockstar! This firery redhead is a joy to be around. The Wren is our go-to place for Friday happy hours, Sunday brunches, and casual bites. We may or may not even be doing our post-wedding brunch here!

  • Review 96 (2022-09-20 - Rating: 4)

Ordered the burger, medium rare. Arrived and seemed more medium. Still enjoyed it. Loved the fries with the malt vinegar mayo.

  • Review 97 (2022-12-10 - Rating: 5)

Came here after work with coworkers and it was a chill yet a bit upscale vibe. I would place this bar on the more casual side with good cocktails. We sat at one of the tables, but the bar seemed to be popping. The ages of people there were between 24-34 on a Friday night around 8pm. We also got the fries and fried cauliflower snacks and they weren’t bad for a bar.

  • Review 98 (2024-09-28 - Rating: 4)

Its way too loud. when youve got that many people in there, having the music blaring like that just makes everyone talk louder and thats no good

Maggie is one of the sweetest bartenders I have ever encountered in my travels and she whips up what is in my humble opinion the best Old Fashioned in NYC.Incredible service, and she knows her stuff.THANK you Maggie.-the Travelling Barber

LOVE the Wren! The interior is beautiful and brunch is ON POINT.Start with some French press with big ol sugar cubes. Try the thick sliced bacon as a share plate. Finish with any of the entrees and really knock your socks off. I usually have the sausage egg sandwich and WOW is it good. Maple syrup glaze and hot sauce? Hot damn. Its a shame youll peak at brunch because your day had so much potential.

  • Review 110 (2018-03-30 - Rating: 4)

4.5 stars! Visted for after work cocktails and light food. The Wren has a beautiful interior and I would say attracts a hip crowd. Being in a group we ordered a range of cocktails and they were all well made. The service was slightly slow (my reason for not giving 5 stars) - this may have occurred, as it was pretty busy. Id definitely go back and give The Wren another go.

Elizabeth was great to work with to book and organize. Service was awesome. Our bartender Troy was super attentive. The bites were delicious. We really had a great event and look forward to next time.

  • Review 121 (2018-02-12 - Rating: 4)

Cozy little space, and the food was ok, but the table we were at was SOOOO tiny, almost laughably, and right in the middle of the floor near the register. It really threw off what was otherwise a decent brunch.

  • Review 122 (2022-01-29 - Rating: 5)

Incredible service. Ben Reynolds is an idiot. Waitress gave me free drinks. Ben Reynolds did not tip the waitress. Very rude. One star for Ben Reynolds.

  • Review 123 (2016-06-14 - Rating: 4)

Nice place with lots of space in the back and downstairs, I definitely liked the space but the bartender shorted me $10 in change. Beer a little on the expensive side but Id at least expect correct change back.

Underrated spot in LES. Next to Phebes which can be very popular with the college crowd, this bar has a less of that college-y vibe with great music, drinks, and atmosphere downstairs.

Quintessential Manhattan drinks spot in the sense that it’s always a little too loud, crowded, and expensive. The cocktails are great though.

  • Review 135 (2019-06-18 - Rating: 5)

Cute brunch spot with a farm to table vibe. Brunch menu is pretty small but the food is fantastic. The BLT has the thickest, most delicious slices of bacon I’ve ever seen on a BLT. The brunch spritzes are also very good.

  • Review 136 (2023-12-14 - Rating: 5)

Drinks? Good!Food? Good!People? GOOD!Whenever Im in the city, this is a go-to spot for at least a drink (usually more). The location is easy to find and perfect for bouncing around. But if you decide to pull up a seat and dine, you wont be disappointed. Get the Popcorn Chicken, Brussels Sprouts, and Fries.. And the burger... You know what, I have yet to have something here that disappoints. Have yet to go for brunch but its on my list. Finally, I have to touch on the people. Everyone who works there is wonderful and friendly. Their bartenders are top notch and always up for a fun cocktail challenge.P.S. Looking for an event spot? Highly recommend checking out this place. Ive never hosted one here but the spot is lovely and very unique (not to mention recently renovated).

When I come to NYC, the Wren is the first place I land. Great location, good vibe, staff is fun & friendly, and the bartenders make crazy good cocktails. With its makeover in August, it’s got a crisp new look. It just feels like home when you walk in. I’m planning a work event for some colleagues in the spring in the newly renovated event space downstairs. . Best new bar and music setup. I love the Wren; you will too.

Had the pleasure of visiting The Wren during a trip to NYC. Enjoyed it so much the first night, my girlfriends and I actually went back the second night of our trip. Everyone we encountered on both nights were cheerful and welcoming. We sat at the bar during our visits and the bartenders were attentive despite the busy crowds. Food was simple but tasty (we had fries, popcorn chicken and Turkey Club) The ambience was energetic and sultry with the accent lighting throughout the space. We also discovered they do events down stairs in a private room, if the event space is anything like the main area, I think it would be an awesome spot to host a party. Overall highly recommend!

Cocktails are amazing and the service is one of the best in the city. They always make sure that you have a drink in front of you and are always kind while making them. They even will switch out your drinks if you don’t like them at no charge. This has become one of the very few places that I love going back to repeatedly with so many new options throughout the city.

The new food and drink menu was beyond my expectations, in both variety and taste. The drinks were delicious! With all things said, including the great ambiance, I will definitely be making The Wren a frequent spot.
