    This is a place that you go to for the vibes. See my images. There is no easily identifiable entrance, but there is security at the door. Line that up with your GPS, you will find it.Right off of Essex Street, this classy establishment offers the perfect introduction to the lower east side. Should you decide that you don’t want your night to be so mixi, could spend more time here. Otherwise, this is a great place for after work drinks or the beginning of your night. There is free coat check, and the martinis are excellent. Should the menu be confusing to you, your server will explain it – no problem. They are also notably very friendly.The food leaves a bit to be desired: definitely go eat somewhere else before. You want the cocktails here, and in my opinion, unless you absolutely need something to nibble on you can go without the dishes served here.Note: every time that I’ve been here, a woman has burned her hair on a candle. Don’t be the next person, pay attention.

    Tigre is another in a series of unique spots by a team who makes building bars an art form.The cocktail menu is truly world class - the ingredients are obscure and exclusive with flavors youve never conceived of before. Theyll make you the classics, but the real offering is their menu of painstakingly designed creations made specifically for the bars aesthetic. Legitimately chic. If you want to go somewhere that makes you feel cooler than you are, get a reservation for Tigre.

    I’m obsessed with this James Bond-like speakeasy. It feels very private and luxe. The drinks are worth the price I think — because it’s unique enough that it’ll be hard to find the same experience at another bar. And hard to replicate at home. I tried several different options a couple of times I’ve been, even drinks I normally wouldn’t order (cigarette, rolls Royce) and I’ve been pleasantly surprised each time. Loved the flavors and the bartenders were also super helpful with their recommendations. Can’t wait to try the other ones next time!

    This place is gonna be the it spot in Les, if Austin powers was a classy debonair this would be his spot. It’s so classy, the cocktail program is next level! Favorite thing i tried was the cigarette martini and it was amazing, it had this leathery finish. All the cocktails were great!

    Tigre is probably the best bar Ive been to in NYC and one of the best Ive been to in the world. The place is upscale (dress code enforced), with a sophisticated and symmetrical aesthetic. I was able to get in by myself without having a reservation. The cocktails were always balanced (they have a vast collection of agave spirits): their Martini was simply perfect, as were the Rolls Royce and the Se Si Bon. Delmi and Lucas were fantastic bartenders.

    I recently visited this amazing spot and I must say, they serve the most incredible cocktails! Each drink is crafted to perfection and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to Lucille and Daniela for their exceptional service – they were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.     Incredible 100/10 atmosphere, so unique and well done, the attention to detail is incredible.We got the rolls Royce (fabulous) the cigarette martini which was sooo good and unique, the guanabana mist and the amaril I believe? It was like champagne and rum, also very good. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Caution, you do need to be dressed nicely to enter so be mindful before coming!

    Solid experience at Tigre with interesting drinks and good service. I would say you’re paying most for the speakeasy atmosphere and vibe. We came in on a Thursday at 7pm and were able to get seated with no reservation, just a 1 hour time limit. I wouldn’t say it was my favorite spot of the night but it would be a good date spot, or if you can reserve one of the more secluded rooms as a group, that would be a cool experience.

    Tigre has that rare confluence of excellence, warmth and the ability to leave an indelible memory.The cocktails are incredible - the rolls Royce and the Cigarette Martini are must haves. The music is top notch, and perfectly leveled to allow you to converse while also making you want to groove to it.The entire establishment is gorgeous. A must visit for NYC residents and visitors alike whod like to be treated like the royalty that they truly are.

    A true hidden gem. Came without reservations but got seated after a short wait. Beautiful interior deco, I came for drinks with friends but it’s definitely a sexy date spot. Best part of the experience was the customer service. Saige and Solé were such sweethearts! Even though it was a busy night, they still managed to put on a smile and made us feel so welcomed. The drinks were also great. Ordered a drink that’s not on the menu and they were able to accommodate to my request. My friend left something behind and Saige went out of her way to reach me. A rare hospitality in NY these days. 100% will come back!

    We had a wonderful time at Tigre, sipping our wine and cocktails. The waitress was professional and the lady at the door even knew a few words of Dutch. When we went out, there was quite a line waiting, indicating the places appeal. Would come again!

    The waitress was amazing. They have a great martini, albeit batch made. The decor is very 80s in a fun way. Doesnt get too busy in the summer, but it would be wise to get a reservation. The whiskey/spirits list is super expensive, though.

    If you go with a reservation, you will wait less in line. Since we didnt have a reservation, we waited outside for half an hour, but it is a very enjoyable place. Their cocktails are very delicious but have a high alcohol content. Apart from that, they offered us champagne because our cocktails arrived late. I was very pleased with the service.

    Not the most seamless experience getting seated. Like the whole wait on line thing outside is fine. But once you’re inside there is a mandatory coat check and the dude is pretty slow. Then the host kinda just stands there until she takes you to your table. Also they say they open at 5 but they really open at 5:15. We had a res for 5 PM and waited outside for 15 mins, I didn’t mind…I’m just sayin.

    Really wanted to like the venue since am a fan of Maison Premiere (their sister bar), but it felt like something was missing (and not just the food). On the way out, people ahead of us said “vibe was better than drinks.” I have to agree. Don’t get me wrong. Drinks weren’t “bad”. I guess I just had high expectations with this being MP’s sister. Booked a table for 830 and only got it for an hour. 930 sharp, the host came and dropped the bill on us. Else might have ordered a third drink. Would I come back? Sure. But wouldnt go out of my way to do it.

    Swanky date spot or drinks with friends. We both liked the prickly pear the most. The mister softee was okay and the cigarette was very strong and smoky! Bar seating is cute. Music is very loud but the staff are all very friendly. The GM (Daniela) is very sweet!

The decor and atmosphere are incredible – Studio 54, 1980s night club, brusque door, gorgeous front of house, louche server who looks like a body double for Jared Leto.Get a reservation, and dress up a bit, or own your dad shorts.Get the signature drinks first – cigarette martini (sorry, 🚬🍸), Rolls Royce – or your call classic, if that’s how you roll(s).Beyond the martinis, the “cocktails” are weirdly tropical, though simple, not tiki. If you’re paying $20 for an everyday caipirinha, you’re doing it wrong.Don’t sleep on the coolers, mists, and n/a – simple creativity.Food is (very) limited, but generous: almonds and olives are enough to share, and the wagyu skewers are a smoky (though not tender) complement to the main attraction 🚬🍸.Amazing experience and date night spot – or start to your evening, or to feed the ’gram, but not an everyday drop-in.There are much better cocktails, the door guy is a jerk, you’ll need to eat before or after ... but there’s nothing else like it.

    I went to Tigre a couple of weeks ago and had an incredible experience. The overall atmosphere, decor and attention to detail are impeccable, but what really makes this space special is the staff.     Ive wanted to come here since learning of its opening. Weve been in this space before when it was a lounge, and it looked completely different. I like what theyve done with the space now. The gold aesthetics brightened up the place while remaining dimly lit to give it a mysterious ambiance. I dont want to label this place a speakeasy because its not, but it can give off that vibe. The atmosphere is smart chic.Service is definitely interesting. I get theres limited space inside, but they do make you wait outside whether you have a reservation or not until theyre ready for you. Also, I would recommend getting a reservation if you want a table, otherwise it is first come, first serve at the bar, and they do have some standing areas too.I tried their popular Cigarette Martini and Rolls Royce drinks.     Tigre is an incredibly sexy date spot. Be mindful that it is almost like a speakeasy, in that a bouncer stands at an unmarked door and you wait outside for a hostess to fetch you. Every cocktail we had was excellent. We had The Cigarette Martini, The Perfect Martini, The 16-1 Martini, the Rolls Royce, and Mr Softie. We also ordered from their small menu of food options -- the shrimp cocktail and the wagyu skewers. While the flavor on the wagyu was excellent, the texture was more akin to a flank steak.. tough and chewy.The quality of service was a bit inconsistent and completely dependent on who the server was at the moment. A table next to us knocked over and broke several glasses and it took staff several minutes to come over and check on them. We also ordered the olives from the menu and they never arrived.

    Managed to sneak inside without a reservation recently (shout out to the amazing hostess, Lucile) and instantly recognized why this is Downtowns new hotspot. The space is luxe, the service is impeccable, and the cocktails are adventurous. Despite swearing off espresso martinis after last winter I gave theirs a try and its hands down the best and only one I will drink now. The music was perfect and the crowd was a beautiful mix of New Yorks best. Will be stalking their reservations page and bringing everyone I know here in due time :)

If you have a love for Maison Premiere, then you will appreciate the level of detail that has gone into brining this lounge to life.     A good concept, but the execution misses the mark. They have an interesting martini menu, but not much else - pretty much only classic cocktails. No food, not even bar snacks like olives/pretzels. The wait staff is mostly not equipped to help you navigate the complicated martini menu, which is just a list of 5 vodkas/gins plus a choice of 6 ratios of vermouth to spirit. I think if you want to go that route, you need to try harder to help people navigate to the ratio and spirit they should pick (eg tasting notes and suggested ratios on the menu), or have super helpful wait staff - they had neither.The cocktails themselves were pretty good, but not better than a martini at any other martini bar - I’ve certainly had better. I think this comes down to it being hard to choose the right martini combination for your personal tastes. Service was incredibly slow, but I’m willing to chalk that up to them being in their first couple days of service.

    I’ve been waiting so long for a place like this. Quality cocktails and a beautiful cozy space to truly enjoy them in. Tigre is really elegant but somehow feels homey too.. everyone working here is so helpful and really nice to talk to. She greets each guest and hands them to antihero person to be seated.We were seated in the lounge area at first. We requested to move to the bar as we wanted to see the action at the bar. They accompdated as soon as there was seating.On a Monday night at 9:30, the spot was buzzing.It is a spot where you want to ve a little dressed up even though its the LES. The vibe is set like that, and I dont mind being fancy for cocktails now and then.The coat chek ticket is a metal token with a number. The matches are sleek and thin. Theres cool art, and even the water pitcher is gorgeous.If you like cocktails, definitely go.My favorite drink of the nigth was the Rolls Royce: Gin, moscato chinato, benecictine and saffron.It is spirit and saffron forward. However, as you ease into the drink, it becomes smooth, and the saffron doesnt htinas much as it does initially.Definitely will go back. They have been open for about 2 weeks.Its a different vibe from their sister spot Maison Premire, however won me over.

    Tigre is my favorite speakeasy in the city, hands down! It is more than a cocktail bar, but a full-on experience that transports you to Studio 54. I recently brought in my birthday there with a group of friends and we were blown away by the stunningly beautiful ambiance, unique cocktails with pristine presentation (try the Cigarette Martini!) and the amazing energy of the team working there. We absolutely loved the fun hostess and our beautiful waitress, who had a fun personality and added to the vibes. It was such an incredible and memorable night! Ill certainly be back soon!

    One of the few actually great bars in NYC nowadays. Cocktails are phenomenal and the wine list is great! Nina is amazing! She took care of us at the bar and was extremely nice!     The service and experience at Tigre is top notch. The GM, Daniela, was extremely accommodating in helping me make a last minute large party reservation to celebrate my birthday on a Sunday and it was completely seamless and such a great time.The entrance is a little nondescript so pay attention to the photos on here so you know what the door looks like, because it’s easy to pass!There is a dress code—no hats, no ripped jeans. But this is the kind of place that you want to dress up for.The tuna tartare is divine.Our server, Sole, was very kind and accommodating.Amazing experience and I will be back soon!

    Tigre is very stylish cocktail bar with a tropical theme, lush greenery and vibrant decor. The cocktails are creative and delicious. I enjoyed the prickly pear and Mr softy both of them were strong and tasty. The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Although, they don’t serve food the olives and almonds complemented our drinks. Frazier was very attentive and accommodating. He made sure we were okay with our seats and that the drinks were top-notch. Overall, the atmosphere was great! perfect for a first date or for a gals night out. I will definitely visit again

    This bar is a hidden gem in les. Its hidden on the outside- we walked past it several times on accident. But the obscure outside only adds to the sultry atmosphere inside. We were sat at the bar and had a reservation. I do recommend getting a reservation if possible as it was busy and many people werent able to be seated. I enjoyed the carol Channing cocktail and watermelon mist. The bartender was friendly and open to giving recommendations. Overall, it was an excellent experience and definitely a great way to start off a night-out.

    Easy to make a reservation and easy to find. A little loud in there for a more formal occasion but if youre looking for a dressed up ritzy cocktail bar, this is a great option. The drinks were not perfect but definitely elevated in comparison to 90% of the bars in NYC and very tasty. I loved that they prioritized vibes over seating, as in, they didnt cram as many tables and seats as they could but instead designed the space beautifully and left plenty of space so youd feel comfortable as a guest and not crammed in next to your neighbors. A little more can be done with the entry; as it currently stands, you walk past a big bouncer with no smile, wonder if youre heading to some crazy club, walk down a concrete dark kind of unpleasant hallway, and THEN you arrive at the main space. I think Im a little harsh, this place is definitely nice, but it could push to improve just a tiny tiny bit more and have that 100% wow factor, right now, in my opinion, were only at a 90% wow. Either way, great cocktail bar, I will be back.

    Fun addition to the lower east side! I was pleasantly surprised by the effort and thought that went into the design and cocktail menu. Their cocktails are stellar, definitely something for everyone from sweet to smoky.     Discovered this place recently. The whole team was very nice but the highlight of the night was Lucile, the French Maitre d. She welcomed us with a big smile and made sure our experience was unforgettable. Drinks are so good and so sexy. The atmosphere too…you feel like you are in SATC. The 1982 aesthetic bleeds into every pore of this space, from the gold-colored fixtures to the mirror-polished ceiling tiles, there was not a single thing left unconsidered. I felt immediately transported to an intimate house party at Tony Montanas Miami abode. The menu drinks are equal parts exciting and classic, made well and served in glassware that strikes the right balance of nice enough to feel intentional, but not so nice as to feel precious. A great place for a date, but maybe a bit too intimate feeling for business drinks, unless youve got a very atypical business relationship.

I’m not much of a drinker so I liked the portions. But I can understand why: the place isn’t that huge and everyone wants to come, so there were actually people waiting to be sat at our table before we were quite ready to leave.Not sure how this issue could be solved without turning people away (assume a longer reservations for every one by spacing them out more on the reservation app) to allow for one to not feel hurried once there, which is clearly not the best business move. After all, they’re a business at the end of the day and are in it to make money.But it would be nice to tackle this from the customer experience / journey, although if they only solved for the customers currently sat, it would affect the experience of the waiting customers… who are ALSO customers :)in any case, entire staff was absolutely friendly - very professional, courteous, and seemed to genuinely enjoy having us. Lucile (Maitre ‘D) was an absolute gem as was the bouncer, hostess, coat-check person, and our waitress. Would definitely go back.Music was also on point and really complimented the environment really well. As a professional DJ myself (when I’m not working in the tech industry), I actually appreciated their tune selections and the volume levels, even though it was on a playlist as opposed to a live DJ. I actually wouldn’t mind DJing there sometime and will likely be hosting a few private events there in the future!
